Life Liberty Happiness - 10.7.2026

In this episode of Life Liberty Happiness, Bryan Schley and Trent Warner revisit a heartwarming story from H2O Life, where an eight-year-old girl from Lynchburg gave her shoes to a young girl in Guatemala during a charity giveaway. Fifteen years later, the two reunited at an H2O Life auction that raised more than $250,000. A special thank-you goes to Counts Realty and Auction for their support in making the event a success.

The conversation continues with the Unabomber case, the Netflix series inspired by the investigation, and this week’s Mount Rushmore of News Stories We Still Want Answers To, as the crew discusses major headlines that left lingering questions. Bryan and Trent also share their takes on weekend sports and a hilarious backyard golf match between two young competitors.

The episode wraps up with a heartfelt reminder about the importance of family and making time to call your dad while you can.
This is Life, Liberty, Happiness with Brian Schley and Trent Warner. Real talk, real freedom. All right, everybody, welcome to another episode of Life, Liberty, Happiness. I'm your host, Brian Schley. We are live in the Counts Realty and Auction Towers here in beautiful Bedford, Virginia, along with my co-hosts. Trent Warner and Emma. Hello. Doing what she does best. Moving microphones around. Yeah, my bad. Oh, got an exciting show for today. We'll talk about this past weekend endeavors and then what's coming up this weekend as Emma makes her rounds. Taking pictures. There we go. And, uh, Carolina Kevin will not be on today as he is busy. I probably wouldn't have said that. We just got people logging on and now they're logging off. Well, he's in Dallas. He is. Maybe we could get him to just phone in like a correspondent, one of those reporters. He phones in every weekend. Why can't he just do it from Texas? Texas Kevin. Exactly. He doesn't have to be home. He can do it from anywhere. He might have already had a few. Of course, we've had those phone-ins before. Yeah. It happens. Anyway, him and his son, little Dillard, Dylan, they're taking it at a football game tomorrow night. Cowboys in Tampa Bay. Thursday night game? Bucks. Yeah. Very cool. Yeah. Can't wait to see the pictures. Yeah, it should be a fun trip for them. A little later on in the show, we'll do our Mount Rushmore of news stories that we still need answers on. Yeah. Just kind of wondering what's going on there. So that ought to be fun. That's one of those subjects that after the fact, like on my way home, I'm going to think of three or four, like the rest of the weekend. I'll think of those. I was like, we still don't know that one either. We should do a follow-up Mount Rushmore. Dude, I bet three times today after I had already put my get off my lawn, Yeah. Three times today, I was like, oh, that one. I message myself now. Oh, that one. Yeah, yeah. Oh, that was, yeah. So. Yes. Anyway, got all that stuff coming up. So first, I'd like to give a shout out to Counts Realty and Auction. Yeah. they did a, uh, the H2O life charity auction this weekend. Yeah. Remember we had a Kevin Foster. Yeah. Who listened to the show regularly. You know, we had Kevin Foster on talking about that charity. Well, last night there had their charity auction and counts for realty and auction did it. And they raised over $ 250, 000. Yeah. Dude, there was a story. I went to it last night and I've got my H2O life shirt on today in honor of that event. And, um, The guy told a story last night. I think his name was Carlos. Totally, probably just totally racist that. But he told a story in broken English that they've been doing this. Kevin's been doing this for 18 years, I think, right? And he said sometime ago, there was 15 years ago is what the guy says. There was this eight-year-old little girl. And they were, back then, they were handing out shoes online. And whatever size shoes they had, they had a line of people they were trying to give them out. And they ran out of shoes at the very end. And there was a little girl in line from Guatemala. And this American girl from Lynchburg, English girl, she was eight years old, took her shoes off and gave to her. Like literally off her own feet to give to her. That girl today is 23 years old, and she was in the crowd last night. Oh, wow. Oh, man. That is neat. Maddox Heaton in there. It was John Maddox's daughter who did that. And she was there. Oh, man, it gave me chills. It was just the best, best story. Where was the auction? So last night it was at New London, the golf course. Okay. And so he has a golf event during the day, and then I don't partake in that, but. The auction at night. The auction at night, yep. And then this weekend, they've got New Vista Schools. They're hoping to raise around $ 50, 000. And before I have at it, I'll go through some of the things that they're going to auction off this weekend. New Vista Schools. Where is New Vista Schools? I want to say it's there on Boonesboro Road. Hmm. I don't know if I know where that is. Yeah. So they've got a little sponsorship from them this morning, or this evening. And Bill Bryant was telling me at lunch that they do approximately, and he emailed me this, asked him to send me something so I can make sure I say it the right way, but they do about 25 auctions a year at no charge. Don't say that, Bill, because I will be calling you. Counts Realty and Auction to Charities, and they've raised more than a million dollars a year for people. I desperately need some bathrooms at Liberty Softball. Can you believe we're in 2026, Trent, and we have a high school? that doesn't have bathroom facilities at their soccer or their softball facility. Really? How's that even possible? Okay. Johnny houses. Yes. They have Porter Johns. Wow. I just, it's sad. It's because of no drain fill. I couldn't perk or something. It just doesn't make sense. Always been like that. Wow. That's wild. And I mean, literally when, when they won the state championship 2019, I guess it was, we went there for their regional and the place was packed. Right. Um, And they had port-a-johns, but they would also tell people, go all the way down to the school. I mean, you know how far that is. Wow. So this is crazy. But anyway, that's just not the point. Very cool. That's just one of mine. Anyway, so they've got the new Vista this weekend. Yep. So they're hoping to raise $ 50, 000. Yes, sir. Good for them. And thank you, Counts, for not only sponsoring our show, but all the good work you do in our community. I think that was very cool that we won an auction yesterday. live on the podcast. Oh my god like and i get confused on all the details because you had sent a text and i thought you miss what's the word uh typed i thought you said i could do you said it was going to dan's i thought you meant don's. Oh so here's what's crazy. So that's why i said dude what's that toe bill because i thought you were having it towed to north. Carolina So my voice to text will screw up Don to Dan for all the time. And I'm not sure why it doesn't. But no, I did tow it to Rollsville. Donnie is the most excited man you've ever seen regarding this car. Oh, I bet. I mean, he's tickled to death. Like he called me yesterday and says, hey, I don't think we need to take this to the Greensboro Auto Auction in February, which is what my plan. I wanted him to look at it and tell me what it is he had suggestions for. It's the original interior from 1948. And he said, you know how cool this car would be for weddings? And I was like, man, it is just really, really cool. That's awesome. Yeah, so I'm going to go visit him sometime and see what his thoughts are. But he was already cleaning and working on it yesterday. No, you got me excited about it because it's, to me, it's one thing to have a 1970, 1960. Yeah. But a 38? Yeah, 48. 48? Yeah, yeah. That's crazy. It looks old school. It looks like something you would see in one of those gangster movies. Yeah. Yeah. But anyway, it was kind of cool to win that. Watch him start tearing it down and then find some, hey, Trent, we found the original Declaration of Independence in this thing. We got one of Bonnie and Clyde's guns in here. Great. Emma has no clue who Bonnie or Clyde is, do you? I have a friend's cat that's named Bonnie. Most Bonnie I know. That's like back in the day when we would ask Woody and he'd come back with some Star Wars. I'm not that weird. I'm not that weird. No, you're not. All right. Moving on. Backwards and forwards. So we had common weekend occurrences this weekend. Yeah, yeah. We attended G's wedding. Yes. Grayson. Congratulations. Oh, man. You never know how these things are going to go. I don't... I can honestly say... You weren't sure she was going to say yes? No, no. I don't think I've ever been to a bad wedding. Like, what does a bad wedding constitute? That's true. Bad food. It's a happy event. Not even bad food. I mean, what are you going to. You still get to see people. Yeah. Yeah. How great was it that Uncle Perry and Vicki showed up? Dude, and to be at my table. I was honored. Oh, that's so cool. Like, it was so cool just to chit-chat with them and. Yeah. Um. I don't know, catch up on stuff that, you know, at the river, it's one thing. It's out in public. I caught him twice staring at a tree. I'm like, why are you staring at that tree? I was like, you got enough firewood? He just goes into the story about this tree, how fascinating it is. And I forget that, you know, he's been around trees his whole life. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. I don't know the difference between a white oak or a red oak I don't know the difference between a pine I mean I. Don't know any of that stuff yeah that was really cool they were there great wedding great party afterwards yeah and I'm going to give a shout out to Connor I want to give him a shout out. He's the first sighting that I've had. So being out anywhere, someone goes, hey, are you the guy that's on the podcast? He listens to the podcast. Oh, wow. Yeah, yeah. So, I mean, I know we're on shorts and everything, but, you know, people don't come up to your whatever. It's just fine. It's whatever. No, that's great. It was really cool. And we went to leave that evening and he said, hey, Trent. I was like, hey, what's up? I don't know who he was. Yeah, somebody mentioned. It was really cool. Very nice of them. At their wedding to me that they listened. And I was kind of shocked. Yeah, of course. Because I'm not– I don't know. You just don't– you don't know who's listening. You never know. Yeah, so shout out to Connor. Very cool, buddy. Yeah. But I thought Grayson and Chanston, you had it planned out perfect. And let me just say this if Chanston listens. I don't know if she does. But your grandfather, who I've known for a right good while. Oh, you do? Howard. You knew that? You knew him? Oh, yeah. I worked on his house probably 15 years ago. Oh. So anyway, his story, he could be a guest. Oh, wow. Have you ever heard anyone speak? So eloquently. Just off the cuff. Yeah. Ashley goes, man, he's so smooth. He was just a natural at it and just so professional and courteous and nice. You know how you would have to think about what you're saying next? No, it just flowed. Yeah, yeah. I'm in admiration of people that can do that. Oh, yeah. They have this peace. There's just this calmness that can just knock it out. Yeah. You know what I mean? It's so cool. And Nathan's was really good and very nice about his older brother. Yeah. So cool. That cracks me. And Nathan is one of my favorite people just because he cracks me up. He and I hunting have very similar values. We were in the tree. What would you call it? Everybody gives my tree stand a different name. The deck? We were in the tree deck. Tree deck. It's probably eight or nine does just walking down that fence line. You know what I'm talking about? Yeah. And I'm like, hey, you want to shoot one? And he went, yeah. It's a lot of work. And I'm like, yeah, it is. And we just watched them all walk by. And we both started laughing afterwards. It cracks me up, man. He got me a little bit when he started tearing up when Chanson was coming down the aisle. I thought that was really, really sweet when they were all up there ready when she's coming down. That was cool. And I hadn't seen Peyton in a long time. Yeah. So it was good to catch up with him, too. It was a great wedding. Yes. And he sent me a picture today. He's there at the Grand Tetons. They're in Jackson Hole. Nice. So he was on a hike and sent me. Man, it's just so beautiful. Wow. Yeah. Good for you, G. I wonder if he gets our signal way out there. Say hello to Jackson Hole. He's got Wi-Fi. Coming up, or anything else over the weekend? Perry and I, so... A great company outing idea. I've seen it being built next to my house forever. But Colonial Hills, the guy, Mr. Tony, has bought it. Tony Construction. And he's put so much money into that place. But he has opened up a driving range. He had a driving range. But he put up, it looks like Topgolf. Dude, take your company there, company events, whatever. Right now, you just pay for the bucket of balls and you go hit. And it has the automated, you know, you hit it. It tells you how fast it was. And my son and his friends in Wood, they played Pebble Beach. It was raining, so we didn't have anything to do really we wanted to go do, so we just checked it out. It is premier. That's awesome. Very cool, yeah. It doesn't have the food and the kitchen and all that. In fact, the only thing it has is bathrooms. I think you have to do a portage on there too. But as far as golf goes, it's a really cool thing. That's awesome. Yeah, we had a good time with that. Now, what made you choose that? Perry loves golf. No, I mean that course. I don't know. Actually, I was dealing with my truck issues standing just inside from the rain. Yeah. And Perry and Trevor and Wood just chose it and they played Pebble Beach. Nice. So, yeah. Okay. Cool. This weekend coming up. Yeah. Reagan has regional volleyball championships. Yeah. I guess they call it regional slash state, whatever it is. It's as far as the JV can go. So they crown a champion, which I think is neat. I wish it's fun. I wish public schools did that. You think it'll be them and New Covenant? No, New Covenant is like JF to Rustberg. They're two different divisions. Oh, okay. Yeah. New Covenant is more populated. Oh, I did not know that. Yeah, they're division four. Okay. We're division three. Oh. Very good. Well, good luck with that. That'll be fun. So, yeah. Where is it being held? Roanoke Valley. It's awful. If anybody from Roanoke listens, sorry. Dude, the thing about Christian schools is you never know what you're going to get. Like, you can go to Smith Mountain Lake, and it's really nice facilities. Timberlake, I think, has nice facilities. And then you go to this one, and it's like, oof. Yeah. And that's, to me, that's the way this is. They have these massive ceiling fans. Well, when you're playing volleyball, like Courtney Phillips had told me that they actually stopped playing varsity there because the fans would run. And if you hit it high and you know that's going to happen, that it would shoot a ball back down. And she said it would hurt an individual. And Courtney, I don't know. So anyway, yes. It's kind of hard to believe they would do a tournament there. Well, that's the thing. They swap every year. They get a different– it's just the luck of the– like I love going to– what's that? Waynesboro, I guess it is, or maybe further up, Stanton. But they're the ones I texted you, I think, when I went one year. They had the actual– Cleveland Cavaliers. Oh, the court. Court. Yeah. I mean, it's just neat. It's pretty neat. So, I mean, there's some of them that's just kind of cool. And then there's some of them you're like, ugh. Yeah. Well, this is one that's. Isn't that Saturday? It is. Yep. So, they're the number one seed. So, they should win. But you have to play to win and not to lose. Perry and Sarah are coming back in town this weekend. so two weekends back-to-back, and we were already scheduled. Wood and I are taking Meemaw up to UVA for a tailgate. They play Syracuse this weekend. So we're going to tailgate Saturday and watch the Syracuse game that night. Yeah, Wood, good-looking fellow. We saw him at the wedding. I just can't. I couldn't get him to come out of. Say anything he was dancing that night oh was he I missed that it was so cool he just kind of relaxed and started getting involved and you know our crowd is a really good crowd I mean it's fun to you're going to get sucked in some way shape or form and so he did it was really fun to watch him get out of his shell a little bit so yep yep yep. Well that is backwards and forwards oh who's who's UVA playing Syracuse okay so it should be a pretty good game. Should be a decent battle I guess, of the same caliber type team. We will see. Moving on, this day in history. This day in history. In 19, good Lord, I was going to say 19. In 2023, obviously, everybody probably remembers the attack on Israel from Hamas. Yeah, October 7th. Little known facts. Yeah. That I didn't know. Okay. That just shocked me. Yeah, I don't know that I know very much about it either. 4,300 missiles were launched into Israel that day. Oh, from that safe, courteous Palestine country? I mean, would you have ever known? I mean, the only coverage I remember was the paratroopers. Yeah, coming out of the wall. I didn't know that they launched missiles and all of this other stuff. I didn't know that either. 21 different communities were attacked. So it wasn't just that one place. Wow. They attacked 21 different cities. Wow. Over 7,000 militants crossed into Israel and attacked. Wow. And then 1,195 people were massacred. Good grief. So that got me thinking, just like you had mentioned, people, all this Free Palestine stuff, which, by the way, what's that idiot.... Singer? Emma. Yeah. Zach Brown. Yeah. He's now wearing free Palestine shirts. Yeah. Like, what an idiot. Okay. How about empty seats? Yes, and that's what's happening. But it got me thinking, what is the capital of Palestine? I saw that on there. I know the answer, but... What is the answer? Well, they think it's Jerusalem. They think it's Jerusalem. Yeah. But. Then when you read more, you find out that Palpatine... isn't a country. Yeah. And never has been. And correct. And so when you say, I kind of would liken it to this. New York City is in New York, which is also in the United States. That would be like being in Gaza. Yeah. Holding signs up saying, free New York. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? I mean, shut up. What are you talking about? Yeah. It's funny to kind of know the history. That guy, older millennial, went through that. Before the Jews got the land back, there was opportunity after opportunity after opportunity for a Palestinian state to be made. And it never was. No one ever gave it to them. No. Yeah. It's not like they're trying to get it back. Right. They're trying to get back what they never had. And we have these useful idiots that chant the from the land to the sea or whatever. Yeah. They don't even know what that means. Yeah, exactly. How about just killing all the Jews between here and there? Right. That's a great point. Yeah. All right. Yours? 1951. I've mentioned this before in the past. This is kind of crazy. But I went to look at others and I thought, you know what? This is one that always gets me. So in 1951, J.D. Salinger published Catcher in the Rye. And that was such a big book for me in high school that they made us read. And that's 1987, let's say. So in 30 years, that became a book that is being taught in high school. You know what I mean? 36 years. How did they come up with that one? Why Catcher in the Rye? And everybody started Catcher in the Rye. And interestingly, I was... 16 or 17 years old when I read it. 17, I'm pretty sure. I remember vividly reading it at the hunting camp. I was so hooked by it. I thought it was the best thing ever. And I used to tell everybody, when somebody asked you what's your favorite book that you ever read, I would tell everybody that I was probably 35, 36 years old. And I happened to come across. The book. And I thought, let me reread that. Hated it. Hmm. At 38 or whatever age I was, I thought it was the awfulest book in the world. And this kid that– I guess because I was in a military environment my whole life, this kid was rebellious. And now that I'm a father, you know what I mean? Yeah. And I'm reading it as a dad, I was like, hey, you little punk. Yeah. Why don't you listen to it? I'll be honest with you. I have no idea what it is about. I've never read it. I don't intend to read it. I don't even remember how it ends, but I do remember it. I don't even know how I skirted through high school with it, but I somehow got around it. The only book I ever remember reading in high school, and I'll tell you, I don't even know the name of it, was something about a pearl in a shell. Yeah. What was that stupid? That's the only thing I can remember. Kehoe. No, I can't remember either. Why Emma? I got no idea what you're talking about. The book reader back there. No joke. I heard it was a pearl in a... Yeah. It was about a guy taking a siesta on a beach. I think it was Mexican. Albuquerque. You know... Their. Listeners are probably like, I know that book. I know. If my mom was listening, she would. Chatted in. Chatted in. And it's funny you mention that because... Now when I say the best book that I have read, believe it or not, was a biography. I don't know, autobiography or biography. I think it was an autobiography that Mike Tyson wrote. It was about his life. And there were so many things behind the scenes that I had no idea that he was doing. And he was so honest about his life. Things that you would not bring up. And then, I mean, he goes into really great detail about that whole rape thing with Miss America. Yeah. That whole thing. And it was so intriguing reading it. It was one of the best ones. And Netflix is now getting ready to come out with that documentary. I guess that story is getting to come out. So I can't wait to see it. We should do a Mount Rushmore of five things that happened in high school that left an impression on you. Because I'd be curious to see, you know, there's so many different. Yeah, yeah. That'd be neat. That's a good Mount Rushmore. All right. Now that Chris listens and he's on the beach listening, he will give us his list for next week. Yeah. If you got your toes in the sand, start typing away, Chris. I love his list today. In fact, his list would be my list. I really spent some time on this one because I wanted to be thoughtful of, because honestly, you could pick easy ones, right? Yeah. Just the standard that everybody's wanting. Yeah. And I really tried to, think what is the things that bother me the most yep all right moving on yes sir drama boom boom i was watching her finger just to see click how fast click she's uh quick on the click no and i was shopping i deserve an award and shopping yeah what are you buying i need some new shoes so i was looking on like a thrift website for people that sell cheap stuff uh what type are you looking for there's any kind of tennis shoes I do suggest. Your hokas? Oh, I love them. I do. It's the most comfortable shoe I've ever had. My wife tried the on clouds, didn't like them. She went with the hokas. We really like those too. They're expensive, but man, they sure are worth it. I'll look into it. What are you laughing at, Trent? I'm not at all. What do you wear? On clouds? Well, just anything really. I do have– I'm a 55-year-old man. I've got to have my pair of on-clouds. Yeah. No, I'm telling you. They're very light, very comfortable. I haven't done the Hoka thing yet. I tried to do Skechers. Do you try– Oh, love a Skecher. Brooks. Do you try those? Very similar to Hokas. Very similar. Cool. But they're more of a running shoe. The one beef I have with Hokas– Logan. And if a Hoka representative is listening, you're welcome to sponsor the show, but– Trent, give me a face. I don't like how thick. You said you weren't running. He makes faces as if you can't see. Like she's producing the show. He just looked back at me. I just meant that my sister wears them for running. That's all I meant. She wears what? Brooks. Brooks, Sarah, and Clemson. Okay. I'm going to start asking you which sister now. I have three. Okay. And a half. She counts one of the older ones. Brittany and I grew up together. That's right. Anyway. Yeah. So was my daughter. I'm just kidding. Don't scare. Literally just kidding. Sorry, Laura. There's a whole conversation going on between you two. I don't know what I'm even talking about. Speaking of drama. Yeah. Man, I know you're waiting for all of them to drop. Yeah. How can you watch one so everyone is talking about Mobland? Listen, you could... The one thing about Mobland that I don't like is what you can't stand about some of the other series is when it's not realistic. Well, obviously, some of the shooting scenes is just cut. Good Lord. Yeah. But I think you could take Harry... And I don't know what his real name is in life. Pierce Brosnan? No. Harry. Oh. The calm, cool, and collected. Oh, the cool dude. Yes. Gosh. John. Dude, you could make him just a series. I could watch him. Dude, Peaky Blinders. John Hardy. I still have resisted it. But I got to watch it if he's in it. Subtitles. Unbelievable. He is so good. Yeah, yeah. And I'm just, because I'm like, dude, that's the guy, like, that you just don't mess with. Yeah. This is John. Can you check to see if it's John Hardy? Is John Hardy on Mobland? I don't know. He is so, so good. Yeah. But, yeah, it's heating up. Like, it's getting real. What episode are you on? Three. It's got three? Yeah. So, I mean, no, you can't. Just wait until it's eight or nine. But I just, it makes me. Yeah. Yeah. Harry D'Souza. Yeah. Dude's a badass. Oh, Tom. Tom Hardy. I heard John. Yeah, I did say John. I don't know characters. I don't know people's names. No, you're fine. I thought I was. Man, he is so good. What else has he done? I might want to watch something else. Piggy Blunders. I know that. I know, but I'm trying to get you to see it. Oh, Venom. He's Venom. And Venom. Another comic book thing. Venom. See? Very good. Now, I don't know if I can do that. Yeah. But what is Legend? Oh, I did see that. That was him and his brother. Yeah, that was decent. Yeah, he's a good actor. Man, wonderful. All right. So, yeah, I'm waiting for the episodes. All right. So you had suggested the Unabomber. So. The movie. Emma, I'm going to ask you this and I'm going to bring you along for this discussion. And anyone that's getting ready to watch Unabomber, maybe. turn it down for five minutes. We're going to go over this. Trent's talking. Turn it off. So I tell Brian, I mean, you guys know I love a documentary type thing, right? Love them. And Unabomber is one of those stories, and that's actually what made me, think of the Mount Rushmore is those untold stories, those things that we don't know the answers to. Well, the Unabomber, we do sort of know, but for 20 years, we didn't know. Oh, yeah. In fact, watching it kind of reminded me that it was 20 years them looking for this guy. Yeah. The most expensive manhunt in the history of the FBI, and they couldn't find him. So, Emma, do you know who the Unabomber is? Do you know what that story is? I've heard that once in my life. Okay. So, it's a guy that used to send... bombs through the mail, and it never made rhyme or reason. It never made sense to who he's sending them to. It's like the head of an airline or a professor or an advertiser. It was just whatever. And then he writes this manifesto that is like eight pages long of the New York Times, and the FBI finally let the New York Times publish it. And that's essentially what got him busted. Yes. Because. They say it was his brother that got him busted, but it was the brother's wife. Yes. And they don't do a good job in the show because I'm pretty sure there was letters coming from him to his brother that was very vicious. Yes. And the wife reading those said, that phraseology is exactly what's written in here, right? So that's really what got him busted. But what I wanted you to watch it for is because of the wokeness. It blew me away. So I'm watching it. I enjoyed it. And I told somebody else this, and they're like, you know, it's just a movie. And I was like, yeah, I know that. But they made the white cop that looked like a quarterback, like he played quarterback in college or something. The dumb jock, yep. They made him the dumb jock. And, of course, the woman who knows all the words that were in the manifesto isn't getting any help from the FBI. So she's going to go on vacation and take her own time To crawl in the woods to find the Unabomber. Yeah. And then I asked you at the end of that to do what I did, and I Googled. What is accurate about the Unabomber thing on Netflix and what's not? Okay. What made me think that this is bullshit is when they show the photos. At the end of it. The photos would got it. The photos of his arrest. Yes. What is missing from any of those photos? She is. A woman. There isn't a woman in the photos. Correct. They made up her character. Yes. And why would be the question. The story is great by itself. Right. Dude, that stuff that he did when he was in Harvard. Yes. When he was a kid. And you said it to me. Did they brainwash this kid into something and he became a killer? Yes. The CIA? You know, because the CIA was behind this. Yeah. And all of that. And I thought, help me God, if I have watched this and he never went to Harvard... Oh, right. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But that part was true. Yeah. I've always wondered, like, the part where he was, where the guy had the letters from all the people, the professor had the letters from the people praising him. Yes. If Ted really wrote those. Yes, I wondered that, too. I think that was fake. And two scenes in the movie that were riveting for me. Like, I literally was on the edge of my seat. I know one you're going to say. The one at the beginning. The little girl. Yes. And the one at the end when the professor is opening up his package. Yes. Dude, I'm just sitting there on pins and needles. Do you know why I thought that's not a bomb? It never crossed my mind that it wasn't. Because if he was the first, it would have been a little bit easier to track down. Yes, I thought that. Here's the students that were in that class. I thought that. But I'm like, ugh. But along with you. The first thing that popped into my mind was, Jesus, man, how many people have died in the hands of the CIA? Yeah. With experiments or whatever. Yeah. Don't get me wrong. I think the CIA has a role. Yeah. I just don't think it's in some of the stuff that they're doing. Yeah. And especially to break kids, right? Sure. To see what makes them break. I'm like, come on. You're actually messing with a human being. Right. Awful. Yeah. Yeah. Very good. I was glad I watched it, but I knew I was watching some bullshit. At the same time, what makes a 16-year-old be so frickin' in-depth of freedom, what it means and how society is a slave, you know? What makes you think, I don't know, it's crazy. But I did like the explanation that Russell Crowe gave about schizophrenia. Yeah. That he really was that way. I mean, he seemed to be. And so it seemed like that went with him the rest of his life. Sure. All right. Yes, sir. Anything else? Any recommendations? Just wait and tell me when Mobland gets to eight or nine, and then I'll start. All right. Now I'm just trying to check on movies to hold me before Mobland. Yeah. Yeah. I don't, is there anything else breaking? Like I don't have any other, I've watched everything, so I don't have any. I want the Mike Tyson. I love Mike Tyson story because of the book. I do want to, I do want to see the, um, Saban. Oh really? They got one. Yeah. I think it's seven parts here. Oh, good grief. Yeah. It's interesting. Cause I was watching an interview with Bryce young and, um, uh, shoot McAfee and McAfee, uh, Was asking him about it, and he's like, yeah. He's like, those questions were like from two years ago. So it's crazy how long it takes them to put a documentary together. Oh, wow. So it must have been real extensive. I did not know, and I may have misspoke a couple weeks ago if it's happened for some time unless it just happened, but Dave Portnoy has been fired from Big One Sports or whatever Saturday show it is. Oh, no, I didn't know that. Yeah, I saw it today. The High Noon? High Noon, yeah. He's no longer on it. Huh. Because he does. Now, I wonder if he's still on the morning show. Because he does a Fox morning show. Yeah. Sports show. Is that the Barstool Wake Up? Yeah. Okay. So he says that that might be on the chopping block next. Geez. Yeah. It's just not working. I don't know. For Fox. I mean, he still has his audience. Yeah. And he alienates so many people with the anti-Ohio State thing. I think that had a big part to do with it. Oh, I'm sure. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Whereas, you know, Pat McAfee is pro everybody. Like, every place they go, he loves. And Portnoy is a guy that, you know, he pokes. It's so funny because, like, the superstars, like McAfee and there was four others that I was looking at that all started at Barstool. And it's like it's crazy how many celebrities he's gone through Barstool. Wow. It's a platform. But maybe Fox could hire us now. If they were smart. I mean, I don't know what the hell they're waiting on. Yeah. We have a female producer. So we've checked that box. Just kidding, Emma. Mm-hmm. What were you reading? I was shopping. Still buying. Still looking shoes. All right. Never mind. Gotta try to make a deal. Never mind Fox when it comes to producing. Yeah, they shop on the clock. Oh, me. But anyway. Yeah. What else was I going to say about that? All right, well. Emma, can you walk the dogs this weekend once on Saturday? This is our show. This Saturday? Marty just asked. Yeah, I can. Okay. If you just text me the info. We will. We'll chat. Come. All right, moving on. Moving on. Lame media. Okay. Oh, speaking of that, there may be a documentary coming out on me. Somebody was filming me today as I was working. My bad. What was that for? You never did tell me. I'm going to put a video together, but I forgot to record today myself, so it'll be a next week thing of like a day in the life of the show. Cool. From start to finish. I wasn't filmed. Well, you were at work. I couldn't come to your work when you were putting it together. I actually thought about it. Speaking of that. You could watch me send you 25 clips. Yes, every time they come in. Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding. You said you're gone next week. Where are you headed? Oh, I forgot to even mention that. Yeah, yeah. So next week. So I was hoping Meemaw would stay with me the whole week, but she says she's got to go home Sunday. Whatever. But she's going to come back. I know. But Wednesday, I'm taking her down to the condo. Nice. And so she and I are going to be at the condo. And this is what's really cool. You know how Warren is like the most Facebook frenzied person that we have? Oh, yes. Like I do a lot of stuff, but my stuff is usually my family. I love his stuff. It's something that we do. His stuff is all mainly political. Yes. Except for his daughter. Well, my mom and his mom are his biggest fans. And then they interact. But for 30 years, I just found this out this spring when I was at a soccer game with Warren's mom. They've never met. What? What do you mean you've never met? And she goes, no, I've never met your mom in person. I was like, are you kidding? So we decided this spring, this fall, and now it's this weekend. That's next week. We're going to go to the condo. Warren is bringing his mom. Oh, nice. And we're going to spend a few days together. Oh, that's great. Yep, yep. Cool. What's your brother's name? My brother's name is Brabra. I thought Warren was your brother. That was your roommate, right? Warren's my college roommate. Yep. See, I pay attention sometimes. Yeah, you're good. You're good. All right. ABC News. Headline reads... It depends on who you ask. Trump and Vance offer slightly different takes on the economy. Oh, let's try to put a wedge. Notice the word slightly. Yes. Slightly different takes. NBC News. NBC News. Florida poll. Uh-oh. Republicans lead in the races for governor and Senate. Oh, and NBC would tout that? Yes, but right underneath it. Oh, okay. A large faction of the Hispanic vote have left Trump in Florida. Oh, of course. But not enough, apparently. My favorite was the guy that got exiled back to whatever country he was, but he literally had a Trump tattoo on his forearm. Oh, me. CBS News. Yeah. From Million Dollar Mansions to Surveillance Missions. The life and travels of an alleged Chinese agent literally was a headline on CBS News. Now, I didn't read the article, but I'm curious. Were they discussing Fang Fang? Yeah. And if so, are you going to really tell the whole story of Fang Fang? How that guy disappeared. And how did she get the name Fang Fang? Yeah. That's another story. That could be on your Mount Rushmore. Yeah. How come we don't know anything about Fang Fang? Where did that go? Yeah. Old Fang Fang. I don't know. I don't even know what she looks like. I might have more respect for him if she was decent looking. My brother was Fang Fang when we were in middle school. He broke both his front teeth. So before he got them fixed, he was Fang Fang. Oh, my gosh. Chip chip all right. Your tiktok oh sponsors oh my god dude tiktok stuff okay sometimes people come on. Like gangbusters in my algorithms and i got to one of those that says and i don't do this on tiktok they always tell you if you put this in the search bar you will find such and such and i never do it because it's the dumbest thing or they're trying to do an ad whatever but i saw a guy say If you want to see the craziest two kids, you need to do backyard, blah, blah, blah. Well, it just so happened, I guess, because I was on that. Maybe a half a day later, I got one. And since then, I cannot stop watching these two little kids. They play backyard golf in the shittiest backyard you've ever seen in your life. And one kid is maybe, I don't know, 12 or 13, and the other one's eight or nine. They got little mouths on them. So when we play this, you're going to have to hold it up a little bit. And the dad is the one filming. And so he has even been on different TikToks and says, I can either hang out with my kids and let them cuss, or I can let them fight. You know what I mean? It's like he chooses something else. But I'm telling you, it's like I can watch nine holes of this. Hopefully. Hopefully. Those people we told to stop listening in drama are back up with us. They didn't leave forever. This is on the TikTok handle. It's called Backyard Golf Club. They already have 46,000 followers. This is great. Can you just get on the tee box and hit? Here we go. I'm fucking taking my time. All right, all right. My bad, my bad. Quiet on the tee. Shut up, you fucking asshole. Quiet on the tee. I hate laughing at kids' cuss, but this is... After you start getting used to them, you're like. You walking piece of shit. What? Alright, calm down. Calm down. The doll went in my way and it's giving me a distraction. The doll went in his way? Can't you just ask for me to play it? Alright, let's focus on our own games right now, okay? Just trying to parent. This is the worst yard ever seen. Yeah, their pun and green is making me laugh. I don't want to be fucking Bryson. I don't know. Have you seen Bryson's new girlfriend? I don't want to be. Oh, they throw golf clubs. I've never seen them hit each other, though. Max is up, too. All right. We'll pep in a step now, boy. All right, Eli, they're rooting for you, buddy. It's time to lock in. What is this yard? It's the worst yard in the world. No, they're not rooting. For you, man. Max is up two. Four holes to go. Oh, a little heavy. I want this in my backyard. Oh, boy. That looks good. That looks really good. Go in the hole. Go, go, go! Get in the hole! Just a hole in ones are worth two, even in match play. You want to let him tap? Dude, they win golf tournaments. Nothing. Like real golf tournaments. Tip your cap. Give him credit. This is me and my brother. It's okay. All right. You're still up one. I like how he's trying to teach him etiquette through the cuss words. The worst yard, dude. The other one's in a great spot. I just keep getting horrible kicks. I just keep doing kicks. Because there's no grass. I mean, when it's just forceful to hit, I don't know. What a putt. Oh, big putt, Max. See, he doesn't use a putter. Oh, that's a good putt. That might come back. In the hole. Max is up one, but two to go. Oh, come on, Max. You might see an ace here. Oh, he died. That was a good shot, dude. And I'm not kidding. I can watch this for half an hour. He said half an hour. You got to make this to stay alive. I like how he kicks his foot out. Did you see him kick his foot out? Yeah. Where can I bet on this? It's a backyard golf. I'll bet you can. I guarantee it. Do they have any comments? Oh, that is a comment. Where can I bet on this? Okay. These kids are from Talladega Nights. That's great. Chip. Wow. Yeah. Is this on DraftKings? They have a lot of followers. Dude, I love... Yeah, it's at 46,000. It's gone up 300 since.... That is crazy. Him laying down on the lawn. That is so cool. Yeah, that's funny, man. It's hilarious. All right. So, yeah, check out Backyard Golf Club on TikTok. All right. Next week, I've got... Some lady that, I don't think she's a doctor, but she does. But she has me taking this medicine. No, no, no, no. She'll like read ingredients from Kraft macaroni and cheese. And then she'll read ingredients from Kraft macaroni and cheese in Europe. Oh. And I just think it's interesting, the differences. And then she'll just, it's neat. She just does like a consumer products type thing. Okay. It's just neat. Yeah. And every time I'm like, why? Why do we do stuff so stupid? Yeah. But when you, I guess your natural inclination is to think that way, but maybe Europe sucks. They are a lot healthier over there. They are? Are they? Yeah. Like their gut health is a lot better because they don't have all the preservatives and stuff. In their food. But is their life expectancy any better? Well, I don't keep track. Good Google. I got my still a glucose monitor on. What the hell was that? Maybe we can get Stella Glucose Monitor to sponsor us. Okay. Let's see. We need a Pfizer or somebody. Dude, I'll show them my Stella. And not only are they a sponsor, but I also use it. What, two years? I've lost 22 pounds from it. 81. 81? What is ours? Probably like five. No, we're like 75. See? 79. So two more years. And those are the ones you're... Because they're Kraft macaroni and cheeses. Yeah, but aren't those the years you're pissing and crapping on yourself? Yeah. Who wants to do that? Well, apparently women are living five years longer. Yeah, they do. Yeah, it's because they cater to... women. You had to put up with all your shit. Whoa. Oh, put on a pair of Brooks and hush. Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there. Call us today. It's time for sports. Alright, NCAA football preview. This past weekend, I can't wait to get a non-biased opinion or take on this. That's how I roll. Pitt wins on a controversial missed field goal. When will they fix the simplest fix? Exactly. I don't get it. What are we waiting on? We have a camera on every first down marker and every– We can't put a camera at the top of a. I don't get it. At the top of a damn... It didn't go in though, right? Who knows? We don't know because we don't have a camera view. But here's the problem. It's not like this was the first time this has happened. Yeah. You mentioned UVA. Yeah. Horrendous. And it was overturned. And they said this is the last time they've allowed it to be something monitored and reviewed. Yeah. How? Why? Right. Why can't you? Why couldn't you look at it and go, okay, he got it wrong? UVA and UNC, the guy literally says no good. Yeah. And the ball clearly was good. Right. And if they hadn't went back and re-reviewed it. You would have the same outcome. Yeah. So the memes were funny. I love the goalposts that went up and turned and went over. But in all seriousness, I mean, come on. If you're going to have it, just. Good Lord. You can't have a camera. You're telling me you can't have a camera looking straight up or a laser and you can't have a camera looking straight ahead. And we don't, that's the thing. Like different angles looks like it's in, looks like it's out. It all depends on what angle you're looking at. So why not have one angle straight to frigging up? You would know 100%. Okay. And my prediction is at some point in our lives, like the transponder that's on an F1 car or a transponder that's on a NASCAR. We had literally hockey had a chip in the puck 15 years ago where they measured the speed and you could follow the puck. Why can't you have one in a football? World Cup. Don't you remember the ball that grazed the guy's shirt? And we knew because of a chip in the ball. Right. And we can't have one in a football that goes over a goalpost that goes, Yeah, exactly. I guarantee you that's going to change at some point in our kids' lives. It's crazy. Yep. Now, I will say this. Or maybe they don't want you to know. I heard that this could be the last year of on-field chains, which I'm really hoping for. Yeah, why can't we make that faster? And, by the way, they are already doing that, right? Have you seen that digital one where it says it's two inches short? Yeah, I mean, they do it, but they still want the chains on the field. Yeah. Just for, I don't, just get rid of them. It's like the baseball box. I will tell you, as a football person on the sidelines, hated away games because of the chain game. Because you had to steer clear. And if you got, I mean, they would throw a flag on you. Because they're constantly running up and down, whereas on the home side, you don't have that. Yeah. And so, it was awful. So, if you got rid of them, you don't have that issue. Less people to have to worry about. Now, if you're one of those people that gets paid holding that, sorry. Yep. Time to move on. All right. Yes. So that takes care of that. So big loss for UVA, or excuse me, Virginia Tech. You predicted that, actually. Yeah, I was hoping. But just like at LSU, I like that the culture seems to be coming back to having packed house. I want to see the stadium packed. Same thing at UVA. I want to see the Warwick. Who was the running back? Yeah. Warwick at Florida State, not get in at UVA, and the place going nuts. Those, I want to see that at both locations. UT picks up a big SEC win over Auburn, but there was a change of quarterback. I wonder if that's a permanent change or if that was just you got a freshman. The new guy was announced the quarterback this week, not the freshman. Gotcha. His replacement. So– Normally, I would say not a big deal. But with the stupid transfer portal, you hope that this kid goes, okay, let me learn. This guy's older. And you hope he just doesn't go, which you know both. But Tennessee's a big enough program. Even if it happens, you're going to get another one to come in. Oh, I know. You've got to win games. But the problem you have with that, I guess it's no different than the freshman. Never mind. Yep. I was going to say, it's a hit or miss on these transfers because, like, UVA last year had a huge hit, right? And this year, I don't know that Pablou is, whatever his name is, is working out, right? Nowhere near what last year's quarterback was. Not yet. Still a long season. Okay. All right. What else? LSU dominated McNeese. Yeah. I don't know if you saw the halftime antics of what happened after half. I think they were up 49-0. They come out of the half, and they're getting ready to kick off. Lane calls a timeout. Now, I love some of the parts of Lane, and this is why LSU loves him. He calls a timeout, brings the whole team around. You know audio's going to be there. And he literally goes on this rant of, They asked me if they could have a running clock. F that. If you want to play at Death Valley, you're going to feel the pain. I love it, and then I hate it. Because I'm like, why do you just keep saying stuff that makes everybody hate us? You know what I'm saying. You're beating McNeese State, you know. Come on. Yep. Calm down. Uh, Ohio state kind of dominated Iowa. I really didn't see that coming. I thought Iowa would defensively be good. I lost that one in my parlay. Uh, this week's big games, Nebraska, Indiana. I normally wouldn't say that's a big game, but this is kind of, this is kind of the Iowa test, right? Is a Nebraska chance to say, Hey, we're here. They're five and oh, this year. Yeah. And I, I watched when Emma was filming earlier, we were looking at the scores. I didn't realize they've dominated every team they've played. Dude, they have probably the easiest beginning schedule of any team I've seen. They do. Yeah. Other than Virginia. Well, I mean, they have played in Michigan State. Yeah. And you don't know that Michigan State was going to be good or bad. So, I mean, we'll see. But, yeah, this is their chance. This is their test. Rule gets the chance to rule. Yeah. And so hopefully Nebraska will be booming the way it is. Is it at Nebraska? I think you have it Nebraska slash Indiana. That always means Indiana. Usually, but I think I got it backwards. Gotcha. So you went and played. You're like a soccer fan. Texas, Oklahoma is a big game. Wedwubba Wubba Wee. I can never say that. Yeah. Red River Rivalry. One of the best commercials of all time. Wedwubba Wubba Wee. LSU-Kentucky. We'll see how LSU does on the road. Their last road didn't end too well. Yeah, that should be an easy win. Oh, you think Kentucky's an easy one? Yeah. I hope so. Georgia at Bama, obviously the biggest game. Yeah. So seeing that made me think about this. So we talked about this, how odd it was that you have Tennessee hosting Texas, and you can't put that at 330. You know what I mean? That's a 330 old CBS days. That was the game of the week. That's your 330 game. They played it at 12. And then LSU played it at 11, wherever, Texas A & M? Yeah. Okay, so I didn't know this. Clay Travis said ESPN is the one that has been requiring this. They've been pushing this. And so next week, Tennessee hosts Alabama, right? Now, that is a 330 game, but they also made two other SEC games play at the exact same time instead of putting them out. And Clay Travis is saying, why would you do that to your own broadcast when the SEC has a 40% higher viewings? Oh, than any other conference. Than the others. And that game, they're doing it again next weekend. They're making two solid– one is Florida at Texas. They're making them play at 11 a.m. And they're holding out for Florida State and Miami at primetime. That's not the old Florida State and Miami. No. Yeah, so what are you doing that for? And Notre Dame, BYU, I can kind of see that. That might be a pretty good matchup. The Holy Wars. Yeah, the Holy Wars maybe. But that could be a 3 o'clock game. I don't know why you had to make that a primetime game. His point was, they seem to be kicking their own teeth in. Yeah, like I don't, don't get me wrong, there are certain games I don't mind being a noon game and I don't mind seeing a 3.30, but your marquee matchup of the week, no matter what conference, should be your primetime. Now, I know you have conference affiliates with different networks, but You know, for instance, if you've got South Carolina and Clemson, you know, I wouldn't mind that being a noon game. Yeah. And then your Georgia-Bama being your night game. It should be a crescendo to the best game of the night. Yeah. Or like CBS used to, 3.30 is our prime matchup. And everybody knew on Saturday at 3.30 you're going to watch. Whatever the biggest– Yeah. It was– The best jingle. Yeah. Jim Nance. Who was the big ones back then? Was it Bonner? No. I'm trying to think football. Yeah. It was Bonner, wasn't it? It was Gary. Oh, yeah. Whatever that guy's name is. Gary Donaldson. Yeah, it could be. Gary Donaldson, Jim Nance, I thought. Danielson, Gary. You could be right. I don't know. Anyway, I miss those days. Yes. But it just seems like ESPN just punches themselves. Well, I think it's so many, like, oh, I don't know if you've seen. So the college SAVE Act, is that what it's called? That a lot of them were pushing. I finally saw a clip of a person pushing against it. And it is, I don't even know his name, to be honest with you. It's Phil Simms' son. Oh, Chris Simms? And, dude, he is going off about it, calling it a buyout for the SEC. The SEC is getting hurt financially, and so they went to the president and the Congress, and they're trying to get money back to the SEC. That was his take on it. Yeah. I don't know the ins and outs of it, but here's what I do know. Colorado's not in the SEC. Deion Sanders is pushing for the SAVE Act. Yeah. You know what? I've heard enough about it that I also get an inkling and a suspicion because the NIL money is going to the players, right? Yes. Theoretically, that's booster money and ticket sales, essentially. Football used to carry schools. Yes. Universities. They used to carry– it was so much money. It brought along all the other sports. I know what you're getting. And it brought along the education that very few people wanted to be a part of. Yeah. Now, what do you see is happening in colleges? They're dropping a lot of sports that don't make money, and they're dropping whole degrees. Like Syracuse, I think, dropped maybe 12 degrees that they offered before. Yeah. NIL money, the money's not going back to these things and subsidizing. Football was subsidizing colleges. Yeah. Now it has to go to the kids. But I don't disagree with Nick. It has to be reined in. I actually was a podcast with a former NFL player. Very popular. God, I can't remember his name. But he said he was Alabama. Shoot, quarterback. Recent. Last eight years, nine years. Anyway, he said, I don't know. That I would have liked what's going on now. Because he said, if you were paying me $ 2 million to go to Alabama, I don't know that I would have handled it in the right way to now be making $ 24 million in the NFL. Gotcha. Like, he's not a big fan of it either. Yeah. Like, he's saying there should be a process. The part that they always leave out, and I always say this, When Jay Billis and the rest of them always go, these coaches are making millions. You know what they leave out? The 20 years of sacrifice that the coaches made to get to that. That's right. They're not making 18 million at 18 years old. No way. They were working for free for three years after college when they still had bills to pay. It's got to be fixed. Because it was a part of it that I had never thought of. It's one thing to have Trent Warner paying for an athlete NIL money, right? It's another thing when the coach has a better option, but can he make that change knowing that Trent has paid his money to see this guy? And it's the part I never thought of. Never mind the kid. He's going to go somewhere else and get more NIL money. But now you've lost a possible booster that you've pissed off. Yeah. That's the part I never thought of. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know enough about it. It's what needs to be. Written or not. Yeah. So anyway, moving on NFL. Yeah. Bills lose. I'm shocked by that. Yeah. It's NFL to the Patriots. Yeah. True. Rams win again. And, of course, Kevin is down there for the Cowboys Tampa Bay this week, Thursday night. Raiders. I watched the Raiders and the Chiefs. Raiders. They're surprising. The Raiders seem to be good. You know, I kind of look at Kirk Cousins, and I think he might be the Rich Gannon for the Raiders. Like, they might be a playoff team. Yeah. Interestingly. They look very good. Remember Crosby got traded because of some bogus medical thing? Mm-hmm. And he's doing well. Where was he going? Was it the Ravens? Yes. And then they canceled that trade. Yeah. I mean, he's playing every down. Yeah. That's interesting to me. Yeah. Something weird going on there. But yeah, they look good. And the crowd was great. That was odd to me because I know Vegas is kind of like Tampa Bay in baseball. Yeah. There's so many people that go to Vegas that don't live in Vegas. Sure. I was shocked at how much red was in that. Stadium. Whoever was doing the announcing actually brought it up. And they said they're trying to change it to where they build a base where it's not more visitors. They end up having, like you said, more red. LA is the same way. So you get those destination places that you live in. The crowd can be different. But I mean, listen, Oakland didn't happen overnight. You know, the Raiders... When they were in Oakland, it took them a while, but then they became these diehard nasty fans. Yeah. So I don't know. I like Vegas as a sports town. Yeah. But if you've ever been to Vegas, it's not big to me. Yeah. It's not this massive, you know. They got to do something with Tampa Bay, though. That place, they're in the playoffs and they look great, but God, that stadium is horrendous. Huh. Oh, speaking of that, let's talk about Vegas race. Yes. Um, 90% of the race, just a yawner, same old, you know, mile and a half arrow. And then all of a sudden it got good. Yeah. It got real good. Um, there was a point in the race. I don't know if you saw it where Bubba Wallace was going for the lead and chase Briscoe cut him off. And Bubba actually got on the brakes, and then he just faded back to, I don't know, what did he finish? Fourth or something? Scrubbed his tires. Yeah. Maybe fifth. Maybe further than that. Oh, wait a minute. I got it. I now think. Bubba finished eighth. If he gets in front right there, he probably wins the race with the way the aero stuff is. I agree with you. And I'm actually shocked that he, you know, didn't go for it. Let's just put it to you this way. If that was 77. Chase would have been in the wall. Yeah, yeah. And there would have been nothing wrong with it, by the way, because he cut him off. But Chase Briscoe goes on to win the race. The points battle heats up. Hamlin had a horrendous day, but he didn't really lose a ton of ground. He did lose some, but not a ton. Yeah. Larson just seems to be the steady, right? Just give him a good finishes and win a couple races. But, you know, these talking heads had me convinced that That it was only Hamlin or Larson that could win this thing. Yeah. And that may be. But it was finally somebody mentioned, hey, a lot can change. We have five races. Yeah. Talladega being one of them. There's a lot of points up for grabs. And I guess you think, well, not Denny and Kyle's not going to have a bad day. You damn well could at Talladega. Yeah. You know, you could at Charlotte. Yeah. I'm anxious to see what the Charlotte race is going to produce. As this train literally comes through the studio. I am anxious to see what the Charlotte race is going to produce. This is the first time we're back at Charlotte in an oval and not the stupid roval. Yeah, thank goodness. I used to go to the fall Charlotte race. Yeah. I remember one of my favorite ones. Bobby Labonte had lapped the whole field. Wow. He was so good. Someone spun out in front of him. He hit the oil and slid but kept it straight, lost a cylinder, and still went on to win the race. Wow. That's how dominant he was that day. That's wild. Talked about the talking heads before a race. You know. I say this, FanDuel Making Bets, do not watch College Game Day and make that make an influence on you. And before the race, I thought for sure this is Chris Bell's race to win Vegas. I thought he's got to win this. And I came that close to doing it. I was like, you know what? I'm just going to use this as an example to see if he does or doesn't. He ended up finishing 23rd. And really was lucky to be there. Yeah. Because he was terrible. Yeah, I was actually shocked to see. Speaking of that, I'll spend two seconds on this. Yeah. We've got plenty of time. And we don't have Carolina Kevin today. I'm going to watch this podcast that I've got on my, the door bumper clear. I don't know if you ever see clips from that. Freddie Kitchen, is it Freddie Kitchen? Freddie, whatever, Bubba Wallace's Spotter. Okay. And one of my favorite, Tommy Baldwin is just funny. Yeah. But he also knows his stuff. Well, they have Spire Motorsports owner on. And it's interesting. He's talking about the lawsuit. And I am so excited to learn more about it. This has got to move on. Stuff that I didn't think about, that NASCAR's killing itself if they don't get this stuff resolved. And I know this is between Joe Gibbs and Spire, but There was a day where Bill France probably walked in and go, shut up, let's move on. Because it's hurting our sport. I didn't think anything about it until I was reading an article from Brad Keselowski that said the biggest issue NASCAR has is OEMs. And people are just ignoring it like it's going to work itself out. Chevrolet is a prime example. Chevrolet has no car to field next year. Yeah. And literally, Chevrolet has to figure it out or they're back with the same car. Yeah. Whereas Ford and Toyota have a new car. And he made it sound like, don't be shocked if one of these OEMs drops out and we end up with two manufacturers. Yeah. Then what do you do? I guess Dodge is coming in. Possibly. And I guess, so the only car that, Chevrolet made this year was the Malibu and the Corvette. And now it's just going to be the Corvette. Isn't that crazy in life? The only thing that Chevrolet is going to make is a truck and a Corvette. I just, I don't know. I hope it works itself out. That's all I can say. It's wild. It's getting nuts. So I pray. All right, moving on. What's that? It's time for news. All right. Fox News talked about a little bit earlier the reports, the DOJ dropping documents again, right? Yeah. This time, how about documents where the Biden administration actually tracked the Trump family? They literally tracked them, not while they were president, while Biden was president. Did you know that? No. What I heard was the key Mar-a-Lago thing. Oh, this was a different document dump. Yeah. They actually have documents where... where they had FBI agents tracking the Trump family in their movements and business dealings during the Biden administration. Now, if that's not... Like, you claimed that Trump was after Biden? Yeah. Like, you literally had an administration tracking a family. But that wasn't the worst, Trent. No kings. How about... The documents that show they were recording Susie Wiles' phone calls to her lawyer. Wow. That's got to be illegal. So all these things we find out, and here's what also we find out, or that we also figure out, no one gets arrested. No one. It's infuriating. I saw today where he said that he has told everybody we are not going after any former presidents or campaigns. Oh, well. Always taking the high road. Yep. So. Yeah. I found this clip just for a little refreshing of what capitalism is. And this is a professor. And I really hope, obviously, this is an old clip. As you can see, there's a chalkboard still. But you hope that this would be being taught across college campuses. And so this is a quick one minute. on capitalism. Go ahead, cut one. If you're going to be paid by an employer $ 20 an hour, the following statement must be true. During that hour, your labor produces more for the employer that he sells at the end of the day than $ 20 worth, because that's why he's in the business. If paying you $ 20, you went to work and you did an output that gave another $ 20 for him to sell, then he's got nothing out of this. He's made $ 20 by selling what your labor helped to produce, but he's got to give it to you. And even though he likes you, you're not going to do that. There has to be in it, here we go, something for him. You have to produce, this is ineluctable, you have to produce more in every hour than you get paid. Otherwise, this system doesn't work. For those of you, and I have to tell you this because Partly you need to hear it, and partly I admit I get a kick out of telling you. Those of you who think that in a. Cut off when the getting was getting good. But, I mean, just quick little excerpts that I don't think some of our population understand. I do this to myself, and I say it to people that are in my part of the industry. You know, we're an engineering firm, and my salary... And the people that work under me, it's my job to go generate that revenue. So I have to go find for my own boss that kind of work. Yeah. So that's the pressure on me. I know what my salary is. I know what the people are. I know that there's a factor that also pays for electricity and all that. So if I'm not finding work that can pay for our salaries, then we can't be here. That's exactly right. It's essentially– That's easy. And it's actually, like, I'm not good at math, but something is very simple. Take your hourly wage, multiply it by 2080, because that's how many hours there are in a year, workforce. If you can't generate enough work to make that and more, that's the key, and more. Mm-hmm. Because something I learned at a marketing meeting one time, they said, raise your hand and tell me what the most important thing is to a business. And you got everything from employees to, and it all came down to one thing. And they said, no, you cannot survive without profit. Yeah. Period. Yet it's the one thing that they literally demonize every single day. Oh, yeah. It's just, it's crazy. Capitalism is the best form. There is no better way. Period. Yeah. All right. Quickly on to Cornell. Yeah. The story of the alleged sexual abuse of Jane Doe at Cornell. Does anybody know this story? This is one of those that I purposefully avoid. I literally don't want to know. I just go past it. I don't care to hear it. No. The only reason. I care to hear it is I don't want another Duke situation. Yeah, yeah. And what sparked my interest is I knew nothing of the story until I listened to Letitia James. Oh. Was it? There you go. She's on it. Both of them. She has appointed Letitia as a special counsel Now, Trent. The woman who lied about her own mortgages? I just simply wanted to know the facts. So I read the article. And the first thing that I read, I'm like, well, hold on now. Like, I thought it was cut and dry. This girl had been raped. The university covered it up. Now the university's in trouble. And so the attorney general's looking into this. This is what I thought was happening. And then I start reading and I find out on October 19th, 2024, the alleged assault took place. Okay. On November 8th, she made the allegations to the police department, right? Mm-hmm. In that statement, she had a sworn statement where she said she consented to the use of drugs and sexual encounters. Mm-hmm. They said, quote, it was volunteer work. conscious and consensual between parties. So no charges were filed. On a separate interview on November 14th and 15th, because they did two more interviews, she then claimed that the initial encounter was consensual, but she could say with 100% confidence that she was raped. Again, no charges were filed. Two years later, in a civil trial, is when all of this stuff is coming out and Jane Doe and the outrage and everything is going, you know, pitchforks out. So we have the names of the alleged rapist, that names are being drug through the mud. And I'm, listen, if they've done it and she was abused, they should be in jail. Forget about the civil trial. They should be in jail. However, Just like Duke, they were hiring attorneys and they go, hey, can't wait for trial. There's a lot of things out there that aren't being said. Yeah. And I'm just like, instead of doing all of this charades, why can't we just wait to hear the facts? Right. Why are we appointing a special? When have you ever in your lifetime seen a special prosecutor, the attorney general of a state looking into a sexual abuse case? Of course. It's crazy. It's just the next Duke lacrosse thing. Next thing they can do to get. That's what I'm thinking is going to happen. Yeah. So. I knew something was going on because now I'm seeing all the same liberal women that are on my algorithm are now doing that. I am Jane Doe. Like, she's also Jane Doe. I was like, oh, really? Drug user? So, moving on to our... Before you play it, I saw your little finger going... The win-win-win, I didn't use Donald Trump, but I am using. I got a DJT. Huh? I got a DJT and have at it. Okay. But I'm using Dana White. Okay. Because he's connected a lot with Trump. Yeah. And I thought this was an interesting conversation that he had about work ethic and what it takes to be successful. And that is what we win-win-win. We're going to win, win, win. And we're going to make America great again. My son right now, my oldest, is getting his master's degree in Boston right now. And when I lived in Boston, I used to work for EJ Paving Company. They pave roads. I actually want my son to go do some days at this paving company. What is it you're trying to teach him? Well, what hard work really is. So people like I run around, I don't sleep much. And everybody's like, oh, you work so hard. You work so hard. No, no, no. I'll show you what hard work is. Hard work is construction. Hard work is concrete. Right up the street here, I don't know how many days this summer we're 115 degrees out. 115 degrees out. These construction guys are out there working in 115 degree, like hard work, real work. And then in the winter, people don't realize this in Vegas, but it gets down into the 30s. These guys will be outside working when it's 30 degrees out. So, and work. Hard physical labor every day. And then you go home, you eat and you go to bed, you get up the next day and you go do it again. In your life, to figure out what you want to do, you have to figure out what it is you don't want to do. Great. I have a great piece of advice to young people. So, you know, we get occasionally young people come work for us. And I don't like people say, well, you had such and such moved on. Why hasn't he still? It's not a knock on us. It's not a knock on them. Yeah. That dude probably figured out, dude, I don't want to be doing that. Yeah. And yet I have some that work for me to go, hey, I love this. I mean, this is what I like doing. We did. Oh, my God. This is so funny. We did that engineering and science camp with Gary Loomis. Yeah. We did it for 10 years. And we always had a. post-camp. So it was a week long, it was four days long in the summertime. And we would do these post-camp surveys where the kids had to fill it out. You know, we always ask, do you want to be an engineer after the camp? And, you know, 99% of them, yes, they had a great camp, all that stuff. This one kid wrote giant letters, N-O exclamation point. And Gary was like wanting to read what that kid's issues were, you know, like you didn't like anything that we did. And then he's like trying to change. And every year it was like, I want to say it was 65 kids that we had, whatever it was, each year. And I was like, Gary, we can't change the program for one kid that didn't like it. No. He actually learned something he didn't want to be. He learned something. You know what I mean? Don't choose this for a living. No, and it's crazy because I don't think, I mean, I know why you guys did it, and your intentions are good. But I don't think either one of you understood the impact that you had. Logan doesn't go to LSU without going to the camp. Yeah, yeah. And that's a fact. Yeah, that's great. And it's the stuff y'all did that made it. Because I think when people think engineering, they think a little guy sitting in an office or a woman clickety-clack, clickety-clack trying to do math problems. And it's so much more than that. And so... Yeah, it was fun. I think that's what he found out in his camp was y'all were doing a plane or something. Was it building a plane or something? Oh, yeah, we used to do that too. Yeah, and I mean, it was fascinating. So, I mean, that stuff is cool. Just like at G's wedding when Nathan came over and said, I worked on your plane when you flew to Alaska. Yeah. You never know what these kids will be doing. Great stuff. All right, moving on to the rough stuff. Yeah. Get off Trent's lawn. All right. Get off my lawn. Did you hear me? I said, get off my lawn now. Get off my lawn. All right. Mine this week is Amazon's next day delivery. Yes. All right. So here's the thing that drives me nuts. It's not. What are you laughing at? I don't know. We're just old men. No. We're getting it quick in your life. No. Listen, quick is fine. Then say quick. Yeah. But when you literally click on. Next day, under the filters, in its big bold print, next day. If it comes next day, I'm happy. If it comes the day after, I'm happy. But when it shows up a week later, not delivered, but expected delivery date. Oh, yeah. Three weeks out. How the hell's that next day? Yeah, that sucks. That's the stuff that drives me nuts. Like, I don't mind a day or two. I don't expect everything to be perfect. But, you know, three weeks when it advertises next day. Something has changed in the last year with Amazon, at least in our region. Now, what's also funny is when I buy something for Audrey or Josh in Charlotte, I can get it the same day. Right. Literally within four hours. Yeah. And I know we're in Bedford-Lynchburg. It's going to be a little bit different. But it's amazing to me how much it's changed in the last year. that when I go to make the purchase and it tells me when it's showing up, I'll bet you 30% of the time it doesn't show up then. It changes it at some point and just changes the date. Like, why did you give me a date if you weren't going to do it? The one that got me was I ordered six things to be delivered to the shop for work, and it all said next day. As I'm ordering, it pops up this recommended, right? And it was candy because it's close to Halloween. So I bought a five-pound bag of candy thinking I'm going to help my wife. Right? Because of the thousands of kids we see. Yeah. And so I buy this five-pound bag. Please tell me it's not delayed. Dude, the other items show up the next day and the candy doesn't show up. Right? Yeah. Now, literally, it tells you that the candy... is packed with these little ice packs. Okay. So that it doesn't melt. It shows up six days later. Wow. Melted. I mean, that's what, get off my damn lawn. I mean, what the hell are we doing? That's the item that I didn't even want. That's awful. That's hilarious and awful. My get off the lawn happened at Home Depot. It wasn't Home Depot's fault. Oh, God. But when you come out of Home Depot, they only have like a two gate opening. There's two registers. So you've got to come out of that. But then they channel you with all the flowers they have. You can only come out with your cart. You can only come out in this one six foot opening, right? Now, you can go around about six bays of flowers and go around, but I'm right behind this black lady and her daughter. I guess the daughter goes and gets the car, so the lady blocks the exit. Oh, my gosh. And the woman that comes to pick her up, and I understand her mom's elderly or whatever, but you could have gone another six feet down the parking lot and let her in and loaded everything there. I had to wait for them to load the car before I could go out. I was like, just be aware of people around you. Gosh. Just get off my lawn. Emma, you don't ever do these. Oh, I didn't think about it. You're just not an angry person. She's not old enough. You're not old enough to be yelling, get off my lawn. The stuff that ticks you off. Anyway, that's it. Get off my tiny house property. Yes. Yes. Oh, me. Oh, I don't like when Meredith's dog bites my dog in the butt. Well, that's not nice. No, my poor Pookie. You have a dog at the tiny house? Yeah, Brady. Brady? Yeah, he's a black dog. Did you name it after Tom? No, but I did think of Tom, and I was like, ew. But I liked Brady. Like, I didn't like the name Tom for my dog. So is it a bunch? No, that would be funny. Well, when I have a house and David will let me get a bunch. Riveting. Moving on. Mount Rushmore of news stories that I still need answers on. Yeah. All right. Who would you like to go first? Chris's? Chris has some great ones. And I would say his are so good that they're probably going to be mine, but maybe one or two. Who killed JonBenet Ramsey? Yes. We don't know that. Correct. Right. Who do we think it was? The mom? No, I've always thought it was the brother. Oh, okay. But it was an accidental. And I think the parents knew about it and covered it up. Okay. I always just thought the mom had them eyeballs that were kind of skeezy. No, I just don't. I never saw malice in the two parents. Okay. I just feel like the brother. Did you know Wynonna Judd's mom was that weird? Dude, I'm going to watch that. Have you watched the interview? I see clips from it. It's really good. I'm going to watch it. It's really good. I'm going to watch it because, yeah, she's a little off too. She's kind of cool. I mean, she's really like she took some drugs during that interview. She's just monotone and just says it exactly like it was. I don't think she's lying. No, no. But I want to see it. Because I had no idea that this whole baptism thing took place. I hadn't seen that. On her property. I'm trying to figure out how did this happen. The motive behind and how he says motive, but I want to say, how did the Las Vegas concert shooter guy, how did he kill that many people? And how do you shoot from that many guns from that many different places? Yeah. We don't know enough about that. No. Yeah. I watched the thing on it. And then what's always bothered me about that is how it just got hushed us right after. Yeah. Like as soon as they caught him, it's like, it's over, man. This many people died. Oh, well. Yeah. Just shocking. Yeah. Who was D.B. Cooper? That's the guy that, I guess, robbed a bank, I guess, or something, ran some money and then got on a plane and then just jumped off the plane. Yeah. I don't guess he was the pilot of the plane with a crash. Here's one from this year. We don't know. Who kidnapped or killed Nancy Guthrie? We don't even know what happened to Nancy Guthrie. Oh, that's right. Forgot all about that. Yeah. We don't know what happened to her, right? We're just assuming she's dead because of her age. Yeah, and how long it's been. And this is one that was on my list right from the start. Who left the cocaine in the White House? That's a good point. You know? Yeah. We know it's one of two people. Oh, yes. It's one of two. Yeah, and he likes doing interviews. Why don't somebody ask him? Yeah. I'm pretty sure he'd probably tell you the truth. Yeah. Yeah, I did crack there. It's like, I did cocaine, but that wasn't mine I left. Something. And I think I would believe him. Yeah. Yep. All right. Yep. On mine, because his were mine, but just two more, unless, make sure yours not. Where did the money, because I brought this up at lunchtime, and the guy I was having lunch with today, shout out to Greg, where did the money go and come from for the Bidens? Remember that whole story about $ 10 million to the man? Yeah. You know, to the big man? Sure. Nobody ever got prosecuted for any of that? Nope. We don't know how they got it. And what was crazy is how they tried to make the guy that was blowing the whistle on it like a crazy one. And yet the emails were backing up what he's saying. He was never disputed. Mine is the 2020 election. That's one of the ones that just drives me crazy. Still, yeah. I mean, I watched 2,000 mules, and you can't find a single person to tell me that something was a lie about that, that it was fake. You know what I mean? No hearings. It's crazy. I mean, honest to God, if you look at the amount of votes, and they go up like this, and you want to say it was COVID and mail-in ballots, well, where did the big number come from? Well, let me ask you this. You can't go to those places and figure out where it came from? In college— or algorithms or whatever you want to call them if it goes like this and goes like this what are you studying you're studying that why the hell did it go that way yeah nobody wants to study 2020. Okay so even if you so the number is let's say 64 million 64 million 64 million 81 million my ass 61 million 61 you know what i mean. You got 81. That's what I'm saying. Well, there's 20 million extra. Yeah. That's just not the big national count. It comes from different places. Yeah. Can't we figure out where those different places are and go there? Start there first? We do at every election. Yeah. They always break down the election. This many whites voted for Trump. This many Latinos voted. This many independents. After that election, nothing. You're telling me that Brazil can count that many in a night? In California, you can't count it in Eight weeks? Come on. Yeah. Yeah, those were mine. Emma, did you do any? No, but my mom said, who killed JFK? Oh, that's a great one. Yeah. That is a great one. We're still trying to piece that together. So I had, and you may or may not remember this, but during when Hillary Clinton was running against Trump, Hillary had a mysterious illness. Yes. Where she would just collapse. I forgot about that. Nobody's ever, ever discussed what actually is going on with her. She looked like a mannequin. Like she fell in the two people's hands that were walking her and they dragged her into the car. Correct. Yeah. Exhaustion? Okay, maybe. But it wasn't one occurrence. Yeah. This was happening. That was wild. So what's going on? Nobody ever mentions it. I've always been a skeptic of Watergate. And I've always wanted to know, was it a CIA plot just to get rid of Nixon without killing him? Exactly. I mean, because in my eyes, you had an assassination with JFK. You weren't that far away from Nixon. So if the CIA took out JFK, you're not wanting to repeat that with Nixon. Yet again, the stuff that doesn't add up for me is yes or no. Trent, was he winning the election in a landslide? Everything pointed to Nixon winning in a landslide. Yeah. There was no way he was going to lose. What reason does he have to have people break into the DNC? Right. It's like the bombs that we still don't know anything about. And then to say it wasn't the crime. It was the cover up of the crime. Come on. You made up the cover-up. Great. You started filming him and listening to him, and then that's what you bring out? Like, hey, we got this little audio. And then the suspicion behind Bob Woodward. Yeah. First year rookie? Come on. I know. Writer? Had never broke a story before, and that's the story he breaks? I didn't know until Tucker Carlson pointed it out that, Gerald Ford is our only president that was never elected to an office of presidency or vice presidency. So every president that we've ever had had been elected either president or vice president. And if the president was assassinated, the vice president who had been elected becomes. But Gerald Ford was not. No, because he replaced Spiro Agnew. Spiro Agnew. And Agnew had been kicked out for what essentially was bogus tax crimes. Yeah. That he was found not guilty of later. Yeah. So you appointed Gerald Ford, and then you got out the other guy. And Gerald Ford, who, what commission did he lead? The Warren Commission against JFK, the investigations. All of that stuff is just so. Yeah. I want to know. Two and two equals four. Yeah. But we don't know. I want to know, what are the real effects of USAID? Yes. Like we talked about it, but what really happened? Did we cut off the money to everybody and there's no money going anywhere? Right. Did it just get hidden under a different name? Is it still going to other countries? Yes. Did you see that stat this week about all the countries in South America that have gone from blue to red? I have. Because there's no USAID money? Correct. Popping up the blue? I just want to know, somebody, like, this is what drives me and you crazy. Yeah. Is you have journalists, but they don't do the journalist work that we want done. What's the number? Like, yeah, why? I mean, if you're CBS and you hated that they cut USAID. Yeah. Do your investigative reporting. Find out what's going on now. Yeah. Like, I want to know. Yeah. What happened to all the money that was going to all the Somali daycares? Correct. If there's no Somali daycares, are we saving money? Yeah. If somebody say, hey, we don't have that money, we have that money now. Okay, yeah. You know what I mean? Right there with you. Yeah. What are the real effect, oh, excuse me, the origin of COVID? Yeah, for real, for real. I mean, we, you know, we've had this and we say this, but you're going to tell me how many years later and we don't know. Yeah. And if it was created and leaked. From Wuhan. Was it done on purpose? Yeah. Was it an accident? What? You mean to tell me we literally changed their lives for years and we can't do any stories on that? Yeah. That stuff just drives me nuts. Or. How about this? Are we being honest that the COVID shot that we took didn't start killing people with heart problems? Yeah, of course. Nobody knows? Nobody's talking about that? Right. You're telling me that ESPN, every time they talk about a 37-year-old athlete dying, doesn't ask the question, did you get the shot? It's crazy. Yeah. It's ridiculous. All right. And my last one. Oh, one thing about COVID. Yeah. If COVID happened today, do we really know what we would do health-wise, what we're supposed to do? Do we know that ivermectin, now that we say that it works, are we going to allow that to happen next time? You know what I mean? Do we know what we're going to do? We could do a COVID fact every week from here on out this year and shock the shit out of people. Honestly, I just thought about it the other day. I don't think people remember. Don't you remember they would track your phones if you had COVID? Yeah. Like your phone would say if people in the area had COVID. Yeah. It's like the scarlet letter. Like you would have to. Like, what are we doing? Yeah. We lived through that. Holy crap. All right. My last one. Dude, and I'm dead serious about this one. What happened to the video guy that Hillary Clinton blamed Benghazi on? Yeah. That guy went to jail. So what happened to him? Yeah. Is he still in jail? Is he dead? Yeah. Did he get a mysterious illness? Do you even know about this story, Emma? Mm-mm. Do you even know what Benghazi is? No. It was an embassy uprising. Mm. She's young. None of my kids would know either. Really? Benghazi? 100%. How long ago was that? I feel like that was 2000. It was 2015, 2014-ish. The hearings were because it led up to Trump and Hillary. Wow. Yeah. I don't know. I just would like to know, like, you literally pinned an international. Oh, Laura just got a great one here. Who leaked the Supreme Court decisions? Dude. That's a great one. Yeah. Yeah. Epstein, she says, I really don't even care that story. That story just annoys the shit out of me. Who is saying this? And Comer. Me, mother. Laura Milley. How come Father David doesn't participate? It's okay. Because he's probably not home from work. He probably doesn't get home until now. Oh, speaking of Father David, wait till you go end of show today. Oh, nice. It is for Father David and all dads. Cool. Yeah. All right. And parents, actually. That is the best part of the show. Moving on. I just. Got three things to say. God bless our troops. God bless America. And gentlemen, start now. Hey, before you get into your, don't laugh. I have to go through ridicule every single day because of this. I have been swimming daily. Okay. At the Y. Oh, cool. And so I'm trying to calculate my little swimming and everybody makes fun of me. All my workers, they just think it's hilarious. So it's been, it's been a real treat. It's a good workout, though. Why'd you hold up Havada for that? I'm not holding it up. I'm not going anywhere. All right. So I wanted to bring up Counts Realty and Auction about the auction. I told you what they were going to be bidding this weekend. There's a wintergreen escape. There is a private five-course dinner at Carmela's at the Loft. Some of these things I don't know what they are. Oh, that's a great place to eat. Oh, really? I never even heard of it. My wife and I love it. Huh. There's Highlands, North Carolina Mountain and Cosmopolitan Charm. I guess it's a Highland trip, North Carolina trip. Nelson County Retreat with Brewery or Winery Tour. A Rustic Barn Party. Jackson Hole Summer Adventure. Oh, there's a big one. Yeah, that's huge. That's what she said. And April Farmers Six Course Dinner for Six. So that, if you go to the live auction this weekend at... What did I say? What kind of school it was? Lake Vista. No. Lake Vista. New Vista. New Vista. New Vista schools. All right. So I'm going to go through these. I'll burn through these as fast as we can. We don't have Carolina Kevin, so I have a little time. You have lots of time. We've got 5, 10, 15, 20, 21, 35, 47 cuts. Okay. All right. This is. The existential threat to our country. These are who was running our country. This is who these people are. But, dude, look at what this lady does while she's doing the video. Like she's trying to make a point, but she loses all her pointness by what she's doing. Watch this woman and see if you can stand this as much as I could. God help us. If we lived in a functional country in the year 2026, I wouldn't need to be explaining to cops the fact that they are white supremacist vigilantes. Like, they would already be trained enough to understand why people are mad at them when. They show up. Like, why did I and multiple people who, like, their job is to, like, be a paid de-escalator and trainer, why are we having to constantly repeat Hey, when you come and your job is to defend the state and property and enforce laws that reinforce injustice against the community, the community doesn't want you there. They're going to probably verbally abuse you. And they're rightfully doing it. Because when your coworker murdered. Someone, you still choose every day to do your job and get a paycheck to do it. Wooden spoon, by the way. You have a choice to not work that job just like anyone. And every single, every single day you go to work and you say. You know what? Yeah, I'm fine that one of my coworkers murdered someone. Cause I, you know, I'll, I'll, I'll take a paycheck from this employer. Like that, that demonstrates your lack of moral backbone. Okay, just stop right there. First of all, the beads on the seat get me. She is eating. She looks like she's living out of her car, sort of. But dude, she's telling us about cops. Now, let's say a black gang comes walking by and tries to steal the shit out of her car. Who's the first people she's going to try to call for help? She ain't calling community de-escalators. Man, these people drive me crazy. Dude, it's the entertainment, though. You know how they always call... I saw an interaction between a professor or whatever, and they were going at hateful speech, like the lady was trans or whatever. And he goes, that's your definition. Are they not the most hateful people? Oh, yeah. She's laughing about trying to get after the cops to... Yell at the cops. All right. So it gets better here. All right. All right. Before you start this video, I'm waiting for you to hit play and her to go, I'll fight you with one paw tied behind my back. She does look like a lion. All right. So she's obviously got the rings all over her nose and her lips. Okay. But you got to hear who is actually the problem in her relationships. Great. Cut tense. This is going to sound super heartless. But some days, I'm glad my dad died when he did. He died before the first Trump administration. And to see him turn into one of these fucking maggots would have just... I mean, he was a Republican, so it drove a wedge between us anyway. But for him to have gone full MAGA? Like, he wouldn't have even been the same person that I grew up with. You know what I mean? There would have been nothing of him left. And I'm glad I didn't have to see that. He's the problem. All right. When you watch these videos, do you not look at the background? Dude, no, I couldn't. I'm staring at that face. What is that? Is that Jesus? No. Look above her hair. I can't see the glare from here on my side. I can't see. Yeah. No. Put the cursor on the other side. There are faces up there. Oh. Any comments on that one? Emma's face says it all. Dude. But it's funny that she would make a TikTok about her dad being the problem. I'm ashamed of you, dad. I'm ashamed of you, dad. Oh, my God. All right. So I got another one here. I'm going to call this one. The company, just a shout out to your company. It's Structure Foundation Systems, right? Solutions. Oh, Solutions. Sorry. Structure Foundation Solutions. Okay. This is a guy coming to apply at your business. Okay. Okay. I want to hear what your verdict would be after this interview. And let's just get this out of the way right fucking now. Always cussing. If I apply to work at. Your company and I get to the interview portion, right? And I come in with my iced coffee and and you make some snide-ass comment, and you reject my application because I brought a coffee into an interview, because, God forbid, I want to be awake and actually process what you're saying. If you reject my application because you view drinking coffee as unprofessional, that entire iced coffee is now going to get dumped onto the most expensive thing that I can find. It's either going to be your laptop, it's going to be the office coffee machine, or it's going to be you, honestly. Don't fucking care. Sounds rational. You want to lick those boots. So fucking badly, how about you lick up the coffee too? He's in a robe! Again, I love these videos, but I love the... The ambiances of them. I mean, he's in a robe. Is it in his bathroom? Is that a shower curtain behind him? Which is probably what he wore to the interview. I don't think I've ever had anybody come in with a coffee for an interview. I mean, maybe if we were, like, meeting in a coffee shop. You know what I mean? Obviously then. But I would never carry a coffee into my interview. Like, I'm that relaxed. One of the most expensive houses... that I worked on when, when I worked with Scott, 3 million, I think it ended up being four or five, but I mean, the guy was a Google programmer at one time, right? Yeah. Wonderful. But when he walked in the office, he had flip-flops and a short insurance. And I just, I mean, even I was like, dude, what are we doing? Yeah. I think once you make it to a level, you can be the cool guy. That's fine. You know what I mean? Still. I would never do it. No, of course you wouldn't. Yeah. You'd still walk. Like, I got to go tomorrow. And I'm going to, as much as I hate it, I'm going to put a pair of jeans on tomorrow because I like wearing my shorts to my office. But I got to go meet somebody. Yeah. You got to dress appropriately. Yeah. All right. I got two back to back. How one side sounds. And then how the other side sounds. And let's just, this is going back to the election time. It is crazy versus common sense. All right, here's crazy. When there's no NYPD. No NYPD. That mask is healthy. When there's no NYPD. The revolution is coming. Are you worried? Dude. All right, so. What do you got to be to be a dude in there? They're apps. Why can't we make an app where they can register where their phone doesn't allow them to call 911? Right. I mean, you've. Yeah, just disabled. When there's no NYPD, you don't need it. There's no need to have NYPD. All right. Here's the other side, dude. All right. You know John Gruden? Yeah. He was at a campaign rally. Watch this dude and listen to the crowd. That's the side I want to be on. Thank you very much. I just came back for one reason and I'm from Ohio. My mom and dad are from Cleveland. I was born in Sandusky and I went to the University of Dayton and I'm damn proud of it, man. Last thing I'll say is John Husted is a lot more than my friend. He was a great player. He intercepted 17 passes on the gridiron. He was a great player. And I know why he's a great player. It was because of his work ethic and his commitment and his day-to-day mental toughness. He will never quit ever on you or anybody. Let's hear it for Husted. I'm going to close with this. Before you know it, last thing I'm going to say, before you know it, this election is over. Yes, it's over. But what we got to do is we got to do our part. Early voting starts Tuesday. Can we be there or not? Let's be there. And I know you guys got a lot more friends than I do. Get your friends and get their friends and their friends. And let's get Houston back in action. Let's go. Thank you. Dude, you get chills. Yeah. Or you can sing the revolutions coming down within my PD. Dude. All right. Common sense versus stupidity. You've always said that. Yeah. Yeah. Versus crazy. It's crazy. It's crazy. They're just flat out crazy. Okay. This is really cool, dude. This is who they hate. This is the people they hate of this country. This is at one of Trump's rallies. And he pulls up two men. This is what he's the best at. Just loving America, Americana. Off the cuff. Yep. Listen to these two guys. Cut 35. Obvious veterans. Thank you, President Trump, for all you do every day. You work harder than any American I know. Absolute honor of a life. Time to move the greatest president this country has ever had. Oklahoma. And do you remember how he got to Oklahoma last week? Uh-uh. The rainstorms that were coming through. So they told him he wasn't going to be able to go because the Air Force One or the helicopter or whatever wasn't going to be able to go. And he said, how fast does that limo go, the Beast? How fast does the Beast go? And they said 100 miles an hour plus. And he says, get your asses in the Beast. We're going to Oklahoma. That's something. Dude. Oh, man. And they don't want to play that stuff, man. Those are mad. up there. And they're not singing down with NYPD and the revolution is coming. All right. And this last one is my cut 47. And it was kind of cool because you didn't have a Trump thing. But I had to end on this after all of that really cool stuff. Listen to this one. Just get out and vote. If you do that, we're going to win, and we're going to win big. And we're going to shove it up their ass, okay? The newspaper people are sitting there. That'd be a good bumper. I'm laughing at the black lady back there. Oh, yeah. I wonder where they're at there. I want to say it's the Ohio rally right there. Okay. Yeah. Because I swear to God, that looks like Paul Skeens over his right shoulder, the pitcher. Below the Black Lady. I mean, it looks exactly like him. I don't know. That's crazy. Just get out and vote. If you do that, we're going to win, and we're going to win big. Brutalized for going. And we're going to shove it up their ass, okay? Oh, man. So I watched him today. Fox was doing a 30-year anniversary. Fox has been in business for 30 years. Wow, I just thought it was longer than that. Yeah. And so I thought it was interesting. He came out to speak. He was getting ready to get on the helicopter. And I forget the guy's name. Not Bill Hammer, the one that comes on after him. But he's been doing it with Fox News from the get-go. And he said, oh, my God. He said, it's so cool. He said, did you just see what he did with the press corps? He said, I've covered the press for so many years. Apparently– you would get questions inside or maybe a little, he had a rope from one side of the white house to the other. And dude, there were journalists all the way across. And he's like, he had everybody out and he started on one side. He went all the way down the whole line. Yeah. And he's like, look how many people's questions he answered. Yeah. And he goes, that is so cool. Maybe this is something we can start doing in the future. Yeah. No chance of a Democrat gets in. It's amazing that people just forget how Biden didn't even have a cabinet meeting. No. For like a year and a half. Right. You know what I mean? There's no way he was answering questions from anyone. Yep. I tell you what. Yeah. They keep calling him the most corrupt. For a president who's supposed to be the most corrupt. Yeah. He doesn't hide from anything. And you investigated everything you could possibly investigate. With all the resources. Yep. Even slanted. You still couldn't get it done. Oh, I need your picks. Oh, for this week? Yeah. All right. Oh, crap. And you are in third. You are 30 points behind your brother now. Okay. Almost 40. Let me get logged in real quick. And I'll just tell you, while you're doing that, I'll tell you mine and Kevin's. He and I both have Seabell. He has William Byron and Ryan Preece. Okay. I have C. Bell, I have C. Hosovar, and I have C. Buescher. Buescher. Buescher. This is the oval, not the roval. Yes. So, I forgot to tell you, I saw Max Verstappen won F1. This weekend? Yeah. Oh. Yeah. I haven't even checked the standings in forever. Ever since I went to Apple, I haven't seen a single race. I know. It's so sad that they did that, but. You live and learn, hopefully. Do it by money. Lose your fan base. That's a good point, Trent. Yep. That's why I'm here. All right. I'm going to get Ryan Blaney bouncing back. Okay. With the win. And then I'm going to go. Man, I'm just going to ride Josavar until he gets it done. That sounded perverted. Where's your brain? Hey, wouldn't it be cool if Brad Keselowski won? Okay, that's a good one. But I'm not picking that. Put your pen down. You know what? He has struggled lately, but I'm going to go with Josh Berry. Wow, that's a good out-of-the-blue pick. That's a $ 750 payout. Okay. So just to let you know, I have 1114, my points, okay? Kevin has 1361, and you have 1399. But if you take three drivers— And there has been 31 races. That's 93 drivers that we have bet on or made picks on it, essentially. So if you take that overall number and you divide it by 93, it gives you what your average finish is for your three choices. Get this. Mine is 12th place and I'm in the lead. Kevin is in 14.6 place and you're at 15.1. Wow. That's how close. So those points are that close. That's how, you know, we haven't been far off, even though the numbers, but you know, 31, uh, races makes it that way. Yeah. Um, I saw this and I, Patrick bet David, one of my favorites. So I don't know much about him, but I know I like his clips. I've never watched his show very much, but I do like his clips. Patrick bet David. So what it is. Yeah. I like that. He's an Armenian. And so he has a different perspective, but also his, uh, And before you go into this, I had a question for you, and I don't want to forget it before we get off the show. But I just like his alternative perspective to America in a good, positive way. It's really good. So in this, it's not too long, but I think Emma will even enjoy this because I know she's close with her father. But with my friends and I, when we get together, I'm now of the age– and you've been through it a little bit, but your youngest is a little bit behind– But those of our kids that have moved on, even when they're home, they go see their friends. You know what I mean? It's like you have lost them in some way. It's a very difficult thing to handle. And this is the dad stage. It's a neat poem or writing about being a dad and knowing about your dad. But I also think you could do it with moms. It's just losing your kids a little bit and them knowing– Them realizing it as you go. It's really cool. Okay. And don't forget, you're gone next week. Yeah. So Emma and I will discuss how we move forward with that show. Yeah. And I'm curious because I saw the clip earlier this week. It's a comedian. We like Theo Bone. Do you think you could do an interview with him? I can work on it. No, I don't mean it like that. I saw where Nick Saban did an interview. Oh. And he makes me uncomfortable with his questions. Oh, Theo? Yeah. Yeah. So my question was genuine. Do you think you like the interviews? I just like him as a comedian. I don't like his interviews. I don't know. I always thought they were down to earth. I mean, they're like... Just get uncomfortable. Yeah. He asks questions that nobody else would dare ask. Because he'll say something. I think he asked J.D. Vance or something about cocaine. Yeah. And it's like. I don't know. Yeah, he's out there. All right. Well, we got this dad clip. Everybody have a good week. And, Emma, we'll see you next week. All right. Five years old, your dad is your superhero. He's the strongest and cleverest man on the planet. Nothing is scary next to him. Not the dark, not monsters, not thunder. you want to grow up to be exactly like. At 10 years old, dad is the defender. He's the one you run to when someone hurts you outside, when the bike breaks, or when you need a yes for something that matters. He is still a hero, but he is no longer a magician. You start to notice that he gets tired, and that sometimes he does not know either. But behind him, it's still safe. At 15 years old, dad understands nothing. His advice is old, his rules drive you mad, and his jokes are not funny. You tell him, you don't get me, and leave me alone. You are sure you are smarter than him and would do fine without him, and you never notice how much your silence hurts him. At 20, that is somewhere in the background. You're busy building your own life with study, friends, first love, first money. He calls you, and you decline with, I'll ring you back later. He texts, and you answer in one word. And every single day he waits for a simple, hey dad, how are you? And he doesn't get that text. At 25, it turns out he was right. The advice that annoyed you works. And the warnings came true. What sounded like nagging was experienced all along. You start calling him yourself, asking and listening. He was never behind the times. He had just walked the road before you and he was trying to save you from the potholes. At 30, that becomes a person. He's not a superhero or God. He's a man who was scared, who got things wrong, who did not know the right way either. He worked the job he hated so you could have a childhood and he kept his own pain quiet so you would never carry it. You finally see him as he is and you love him more for it. At 40, time is running out. You notice the gray hair, the slower walks, the pauses when he loses a word. It hits you. That he will not be here forever. So now you count the visits. You hug him. Harder. Say the things you put off for years. One day, there will be nobody left to say them to. After he's gone, dad lives inside you forever. Good. You catch his gestures, his phrases, and his look in your own mirror. You raise your own children and suddenly understand every choice he made and every silence he kept, he never really left. He is in your voice when you tell your children, don't be scared, I'm right here. So call him today if you can, not tomorrow, and not on a holiday. Say the things you keep putting off or just ask, Dad, how are you? Those words mean the world to him more than you know. So guys, let's just text our dad real quick and say, Dad, how you doing? If you can. Some people's dads are not here, but it's a simple message that means the world.
