Life Liberty Happiness - 9.30.2026

In this episode of Life Liberty Happiness, Bryan Schley and Trent Warner are joined by Cory Dunn to recap his high-stakes late-model debut at Martinsville, where 87 drivers competed for a spot in the race. Cory shares highlights from the weekend, including the intense competition, trackside fights, and the crash that ended his heat race.

The conversation continues with the WNBA and fan conduct, athlete behavior and media coverage, TV and streaming, and Dave Portnoy’s pizza reviews. Bryan and Trent also dive into current events, including military spending, election coverage, Iran talks, data-center development, and new manufacturing investment and job creation.

The crew takes a live swing at bidding on a 1948 Pontiac before wrapping up with the unusual story of identical twins.
This is Life, Liberty, Happiness with Brian Sly and Trent Warner. Find us at LLH underscore podcast on YouTube, across all social media platforms, and wherever you get your podcasts. Real talk, real freedom. Is this the gay hour? I told you I didn't like it. And you surprised me on that one. All right, everybody. You're listening to Life, Liberty, Happiness. That's her. Not bumper. Not so new bumper. And it's not going to stay. Oh, God. Thank God. I hope we weren't live. Emma, I love it that you're willing to try new things. Yes. So. Well, then. You're not too far off. You have to give me another review later of one of our other bumpers. Too far, John. Can't wait. You're listening to the show. I'm Brian Sly. Live in the studio in the Counts. Realty and Auction Towers here in beautiful Bedford, Virginia with our co-host Trent Warner. And Emma back there creating bumpers. Hello. YouTube is malfunctioning, but it will be up soon. That's all right. I think. You sure? Yes, we're good now. Okay. Not good. So technical difficulties. We've got all that fixed. She's on it. And we're ready for a great show today. We've got a lot to talk about our previous weekend. Catch up on that on Backwards and Forwards in just a second. But right now, we'd like to thank our sponsor, Counts Realty and Auction Tower. Or excuse me, Counts Realty and Auction. Visit countsauction.com. Yeah. Where buying and selling is fun. And we know this because you will be doing some of that live. I'll try it online. Yeah. Unless it's too high. We're going to do some online bidding today while on the show. And Trent's phone is still. That was me. Anyway, so a little later on in the program when we get to sports, we'll have a call in with our driver, Corey Dunn. Just kind of talk about this weekend a little bit more from his point of view of what happened. Very exciting. Yes. So, without further ado, let's get to Backwards and Forwards. What a great weekend. Yeah. Gathered up the Warners. Yep. Put them in the truck, and we headed out. And before we left Bedford, there was already yelling. That tends to happen. What do you mean you haven't put fuel in the truck yet? Why isn't all this stuff done? Didn't you strip the wax off your car, off your truck? Mm-mm. A whole bunch of stuff. Dude, I'm pretty sure he has. He's probably buffed it twice this week. Yeah, he was heading to the car wash this morning when I saw him. That's not a joke. No, I did too. I went this evening. Because I know I'm going to see him after the podcast, so it has to look good. Yep. So anyway, we got up there, got all set up. Yep. And man, just like racing is always fun, but when it's set up with college game day. Yeah. and set up with, uh, you know, everything that was going on. It was great. Friday night, got to eat, got to watch, uh, qualifying live on TV. Yep. While in the background, you could hear him humming on the racetrack. Uh, so it was great. Solid. How exciting was that? Yeah. I got punched in the arm. Oh yeah. Yeah. Brad totally lost it, but that's how exciting it gets. Yeah. Um, Solid qualifying effort from Corey. Yeah. Finishing P48, but that's out of 87 cars. And you remember last year he never qualified, right? Because it came off the car. Came off the truck. Yeah. Unable to qualify. Yeah. Solid car. So we'll talk about kind of how the race went because they've got four heat races. Yeah. And you have to finish in the top 10 or you don't make the race. Yeah. And that includes people who were on the poles. Like if you get a wreck, which happened, you're SOL. Although he did knock off left and right, left and right, almost getting back into it. Oh, yes. That was exciting. Yeah. Shout out to Perry and Sarah listening live on their way home for the wedding this weekend. Oh, nice. Yeah. So, yeah, we had a really good weekend. The race was great. Yeah. The facilities. Top notch. Yeah. Got to have a buffet, had everything we needed. Yeah. Was great. The racing was phenomenal. Fireworks. I mean, like stuff was on TMZ. Yeah. Like regular news was covering the fistfights. Yep. Like it had everything you could want. So do you have, are you talking about that or can we talk about it now? Because I'm really frustrated about some of the coverage afterwards of it. All right. You can talk about it because when we talk to Corey later on, I want to get his perspective of what, He thought in the car, outside, all that stuff. I know you know who I'm talking about. I think it's something like Brake Hard. It's a guy that's on. Yes, I know who exactly you're talking about. All that guy. Okay, so I like him because he has a lot of good information. He does research, too, that he does it. But I swear he talks like he's a Yankee that came down here to learn about NASCAR. Right. And so he's one of the ones that jump on that says we cannot keep doing this in racing. We can't keep. Now, I agree. Don't jump a NASCAR driver from behind. Correct. That's a little absurd, that kind of thing. But let me ask you this simple question. Based on everything that happened during the race and after the race, how exciting that was, do you not think there's going to be more people next year? Oh, absolutely. 1,000%. Yes. It brings people to the stands. It is what racing is. I thought, of all people, Tony Stewart, to me, had the greatest kind of analysis of it. He's like, it's pretty simple. Driver on driver. I'm all about it. Yeah. If you want to do crew chiefs, crews, whatever, but crew chief, you can't touch a driver unless it's not. They're the ones making the decision. Yeah. If they want to go at it, that's up to them. Yeah. He said what he tells his drivers at Eldora, the track that he owns. Yeah. If you're going to fight, you got to come to the start finish line. Okay. And he goes, nobody will take me up on that. Yeah. He said, I would rather it be done in front of the fans because they paid for the money to see a show. And you guys want to argue? Show them. Well, I thought Denny Hamlin had a really good take on his podcast, too, that first, it's bad enough that it was a fight for, I mean, really, all he did was nudge him out of the way to get. Him out of the way, right? Oh, yeah, it was stupid. If it wasn't for the going up over the hood with the car, it was because, you know, the mechanics of a wheel going, catching another wheel, and it launched him over. I mean, that's just what happens. But to do it away from the cars, in the track, near the. It's awful. You know, you should have... There should be some guidelines there. Maybe when you get out of the car, next to the car, you leave your space just like the week before when. Who got punched? It was.... Shoot, who got punched? Hosovar? Hosovar. You know, he was just sitting in his car when that happened. Yeah. I mean, if he's walking by the hot dog stand, you can't jump him away from, I mean, it's just awful. None of them. I don't think you should ever punch somebody when they're not looking. That's just awful. Yeah. Oh, that's our Mount Rushmore today. Yes. Best punches. That's right. It's not a UFC or a boxing match. And this was, so it was maybe some good violent fights. Like the one before that was even. Worse. So remember when that guy got out of his car? Yeah. He looked like he had sausage fingers. Yeah. He was that big country boy who looks like he can throw hay bales. Yeah. Old man, probably 50 years old. He talked smack to the 24-year-old. And got whooped. Got whooped. Big time. When he got up off the ground and his face was just bleeding like a stuck pig, I was like, I don't know what happened in that pile, but that young guy, that was F around and find out. Yeah. So penalties did come down. Okay. Pretty severe. Good. The owner of the 77 and the crew member both have been suspended indefinitely and are not allowed back at Martinsville next year. Oh, so there is a defined time indefinitely is like you're not coming back. So he's got a year on a year probation suspension. Okay. And they are not allowed to be in the race next year. Okay. But I mean, they can come back the year after, but dude, that's pretty hefty for a, Late model. Did you see the ironic thing about that? Is Corey Heim actually drove for that guy before? Yeah. That's wild. But I also saw the, what's crazy about it, and we got to move on, but what's crazy about it is I saw the owner talking to the car owner of Corey Heim's car and saying, yeah, we're all good. But you, after that interview, you go and jump the guy? Yeah. That's horrible. And he stopped his driver from going to do it. Exactly. And then sucker punched him. Yeah, that's pitiful. Yeah. That part was a low point. Apparently, we had a really fun time getting back to the campground. That's hilarious. Driving the golf cart, and I was in the hall. I was literally backed up all the haulers all the way back to the racetrack. So, I mean, I'd say it's a good half a mile drive, maybe longer. You need a camera. In your golf cart. And I'm on a golf cart on a main road. With four adult men. You need a camera in your golf cart. The guy saying, I think I can, I think I can, as we're going up the hill. It was hilarious. That's what I love about NASCAR fans. He had a whole train of cars behind him. No, no, it was all fun and nature. And it was, man, It was such a relief to pull in and just be done. Like, whew, we made it back. But camper worked great, everything. I mean, it was a perfect weekend weather-wise. It's the best for me. I didn't have to do any of that driving, but the anxiety was through the roof. Like, just when we left here and you got men at work, of course you got to leave here and there's road work. And Brad says, go at the flag man. Like, go at him. So you get the car trucked by the telephone pole. It's crazy. But what a weekend. Yeah, it was fun. Enjoyed it. Not much going on this weekend. Just Grayson getting married. Long-time listener. He is a long-time listener and nephew of the great Trent Warner. Yeah. Congrats. Oh, he's getting married this weekend? Yeah. Grayson and Chanston. Friday. Chanston. It literally, I looked at the weather. It is an inside wedding, right? It's, I think, primarily outside. They can go inside, but it's an outside wedding. So, of course, 90 degrees on Friday. Oh, really? I thought it was supposed to be rainy. Nope. Potentially. That is Saturday, and it literally, from 90 on Friday, unless I looked at something wrong. No, you're right. 90 on Friday to, what, 58, 60 on Saturday? Okay. It says the highs go from 87 to 70, at least in Bedford, where I am now. That's crazy. Is what my weather is. And what does Saturday say? And then high is 70. So it goes 87 to 70, and then the lows each day are 57, 58. And rain goes from 35%, which that's good for Grayson because it was higher earlier in the week. Yeah. And now rain on Saturday, Sunday, 90%. So I will wear a hat. Just kidding, Grayson. You were invited. I did. Perry said, I heard the shout out and Brian didn't give a F. Shout out to Perry. Who gives a F? All right. Moving on. This day in history. This day in history. In 1954. Yeah. The USS Nautilus set sail. It's the first aircraft. Nuclear-powered submarine. Oh, cool. I bet your dad knows that history, Father David. Oh, yes. Do you know where the fuel came from? He said, oh, yes. Where? Lynchburg. Did it? Mm-hmm. I didn't think B & W was built until the 70s, 60s. The reason I know it is because there's historical markers on Main Street. I just read it the other day. USS Nautilus fueled by BWXD. Father David. Father David did it. That's nice. So what does, trivia question, hopefully nobody has looked this up. Emma, what does USS stand for? Oh, I have no idea. Trent? Well, I'm going to guess United States. Yep. Sea time. I don't know. Ships. United States ships. USS. Should have been common sense. And your history? Baseball playoffs started? Yes. Right? This day in 1934, the headline was, Babe Ruth played his last game for the Yankees. Wow. 1934. So I read it that way, and then I thought, was it his last game or just last game for the Yankees? So I asked a further question of Google. And? It came back and said, last game for the Yankees. Guess where he ended his career? White Sox. Back with Boston. Oh, did he? Really? But this time, the Boston Braves. Oh, wow. It was the National League. And he only played six weeks. He was washed up. He was gone. He batted 181. However, three games before his final game in May, he hit three home runs. Holy cow. Who won last night? I was just trying to figure that out. I think the Yankees won. Oh, okay. Crap. Right now, the Phillies are leading Atlanta in the 10th inning, 4-3. Yankees definitely won. They won 9-0. Padres won 8-0. White Sox. Man, how did the White Sox turn it around so fast? I don't know. They won 6-3 last night, and then the Braves won 5-3. That's crazy. All right. Let's see. Moving on to drama. What update did you just hear? Braves and Phillies. Bottom of the 10th. Yep. 4-3-2-L. All right. Drama. Lioness. Yeah. You are done. Finally. Finally. So you didn't like it. So I skipped season two. Okay. Because I was pretty sure I hadn't seen season two, but I just didn't feel like putting in that many episodes into something. Okay. So you kept saying how great it was, and I was like, okay, I'm going to give this more time. I'm going to give it more time. And I'll tell you, the last two episodes made me kind of like, oh, I'm glad I watched this. It was pretty riveting towards the end. And then the bathtub scene in the last scene got me hooked to watch season four, whenever that comes out. Yeah, but now you've got to go watch season two because that bathtub scene makes sense then. I'm not enough to go back and re-watch something. What if there's a lot of bathtub scenes? You already told me who she was. There's a lot of scenes. Well, maybe. Yeah. Yeah, I like the politics of it. It just seems so up to date with the politics. And it's like, because I'm going to tell you right now, the conversation that she had with the general from Russia pretty much described air politics right now when it comes to that stuff. And I'm like, that's interesting. Yeah, that was pretty cool. I mean, what I do like about it is The things that she says to her kids about the news. Yes. First off, when I hear them talking it, I keep thinking they're rolling their eyes inside because these actors don't like saying this. Right. You know what I mean? Hollywood doesn't say it. But you don't see anything on TV that has any of that type of discussion. Right. Just that. Just something Taylor Sheridan does. When she talks about being in the military, you know, the mom, she's exactly right. Yeah. The thing that struck me was when she, in fact, I told my mom about this. She gave a great example about news. So they faked some story on news and then they know the news goes and runs with it. And so the daughter comes in and she says, did y'all just see the news story on TikTok? And the lady, the mom says, you look at TikTok for your news? And she said, yeah, it's the same thing on that TV. And she goes, no, it's not. All those things are stories. And the dad, who I always think it's, Ironic. Make the white dad the dumb guy. He says, so these things aren't real? And she says, it never has been. And her example was fantastic about the news. If you go back to the Civil War and they raided Atlanta and burned it down, if you read the New York Times version of that and you read the Atlantic Sun version of that, two completely different stories, not news. And I thought, you know, that was a great example. Yeah. And I think that's Taylor Sheridan in his writing. Yeah. I think he's really good at doing that. Yeah. And it is correct. It was 100%. I mean, 100%. Mobland. Yes. Can't wait till that season is done. So you wait till it's over and then start it. Yeah, I get too excited. I'm right there with you because now I'm mad. Yeah, I get mad. I'm so excited. Yeah. What episode were they in? Two has dropped, so three's coming up. I like it. Sometimes some of those shows at least drop three. Yeah. You know what I mean? So you can get three in, but. And then 99 to Beat. It would be grand if you could get at least two episodes so you can watch them back to back. What did you say it was? 99 to Beat. So that's a show with Aaron Andrews and the little guy from Duke that's the funny guy, the little Chinese looking guy. Oh, oh. So it's a game show, but they basically have 99 people, I think it is. Okay. And they just different games till they get down to one. My only problem with all of those shows is just stop with the stories. You get to the question and get the answer? No, it's the stories of this person is a trans, this person is gay and lesbian. Just have contestants. Man, Marty was watching Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? And I haven't seen that since. The little fellow hosted that show. Yeah. And now it's Jimmy Kimmel. Oh. So it was on while I was listening in the kitchen, and I couldn't get past him. There's no way I can watch it, except Ken Jennings was on there with Matt Damon. Uh-huh. And, dude, Matt Damon didn't even need to be there. Ken Jennings is ready to get to the million, and they won the million without using any of their clues. So I don't know if you know this, but Fox Sports 1 is out, or Fox 1. It's not FS1? No, it's a streaming platform called Fox 1. No, I hadn't heard anything about it. And so it literally is all the Fox stuff plus extras. And it's actually really good. So I, of course I got suckered into buying it. Um, and it's, I'm just, so it's, uh, it's a lot more sports, you know, instead of just FS one and two, I mean, it's a bunch more channels, but it's also all your Fox stuff. It's also all your, uh, Fox nation, Fox news, all that stuff in one. Okay. But here I go again, suckered into another damn platform. Another app. Yeah. So you got to pay a service. Yes, that's what I'm saying. They're all just like Paramount, CBS, and they all get you. No, you say and until they get you. Okay. Paramount got you with UFC. That's true. They get you with the one thing. Yeah. And then they suck you in. And it's like, I got Paramount. I got Netflix. I still got a Netflix. That's my first. All right. Moving on. Perry's giving me his best sports punches. Good. Oh, man. A couple in here are pretty good. All right, moving on to lame. All right, ABC News. Yes. Hexeth targets military top brass for deeper cuts. Yeah. I love it. Like we've always thought that they've always made out Republicans use the Department of Defense or the defense budget, you know, to beef up things. And for once we have a president. In a cabinet that's willing to make cuts within something that the Republicans have never been willing to cut. Right? Yeah. Are you for or against this? It's for cuts. Yeah. I mean, I think he's asked. I think he's looking at cutting generals pay by 20%. Okay. And you know who you're going to get rid of? The people who shouldn't probably be there because the ones who desperately care are going to take the money. Because they weren't there for the money to begin with. Do you know how they got rid of the ones they didn't like before? Yes. They made you take a shot. Made you take a shot. And so the ones that are MAGA-ish that didn't want the shot got kicked out of the military. Right. So goodbye. Yeah. All right. NBC News. Yeah. Democrats eye Nebraska as the possibility to beat the Senate Republican. Gosh, they're just really hoping with these headlines. They got to do it. I'm telling you, man. I go to there and I look. The guy that's running as a Republican, two-time governor. Okay. Highly popular. Read the article. Not one poll. Same old, same old, man. It's just going to do that. And then the day before, two days before, oh, wow, he's made a comeback. But why are we writing the article with no data? Yeah. What makes you think? And there one sentence in there said, because of Trump's low ratings. Yeah. But you have nothing to base it off of. Exactly. All right, CBS News, Iran says it's considering a counterproposal for a ceasefire. Well, we've heard that before, so we shall see. I think it's funny that we do this, the lame media. So today, Clay and Buck, right? Yep. They did the headlines live today. So I guess, Emma, have you guys got this in what's happening? The biggest headline today? The plane? I've read it. It's not in any of my notes. Okay. So, Emma's... I mean, this is like as scary as it can get. Oh, my God. Oh, my. Maybe she can filter that out. Yeah. Can you filter this out? It's good water. I'll just put a big old blob in it. Good Lord. Did I get any in my mouth? Any a bit. So. It's water. Goodness grief. We're okay. Goodness gracious. So, today, the big story was. I mean. You can make a movie out of this. So just like Flight 93. Yeah. Remember when the passengers tried to storm the cockpit? Right. Okay. So the assistant pilot, co-pilot, took a knife and stabbed the real pilot two or three times. In midair. In midair. And took it from whatever, 30,000 feet and nosedived, also twirling. Yep. A passenger plane that had 200. Yep. Was it 170, 180? Yeah. Passengers. Passengers. On the plane. The guy that got stabbed, this is what I heard on Clay and Travis, the guy that got stabbed couldn't get him off of doing it. So he's able to open the door, and the people on the plane rush the cockpit and pull that guy out. And they, I guess, tape him down or used headphones or something to handcuff him. And somehow there's two other pilots on the plane that happen to be there. Holy cow. And that's how— Were able to fly. Yeah, because the guy was cut. He couldn't survive. Yeah. Well, he did survive. Both pilots are alive. Wow. And so the headlines, so this is what I'm coming around to full circle. Clay and Buck, whatever. Buck said something. Yep. They look up the headlines, and MS now has the headline that says, their headline is, Mike Johnson finally tells the truth on Capitol Hill. That's their big headline. Oh, my God. The little headline says, cockpit fight. Oh my God. All right, so the one thing that bothered me the most about when I saw it, it was a news report off of the radio that I was listening to. And it gave every detail just like you gave. What bothered me the most was, I think the plane made an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia. And it said, That he was apprehended. Authorities are sure. Authorities say it is a terror plot or it was a terror act or whatever. And that they're confident that it was from Tehran, whatever it's called. But they didn't know the identity of the attacker. Well, Trent, all I'm telling you is I'm not that dumb. Yeah. You knew the moment he got off that plane who he is. You have to know who the pilots are. Of course. Yeah. You know exactly who this is. So why do we hide all this stuff? It says he's an Oman national. I guess it's an Oman thing. So I'm just going to say this. What if Trump tomorrow says no more planes leaving the U.S. will have Arab pilots? Isn't that safety? Yeah. You know what I mean? You got this guy over here that just caused fear. Why not? I know. Well, apparently it was a court decision today that said they could deport Detroit. I think it was Detroit's, what's the guy, the head of the mosque. It's the largest mosque in America that they could deport it. I'm like, yeah, I mean. See ya. I agree. I would feel safer. We all would feel safer. Yep. So. Yeah. Let me pull up, if you don't mind, because we got a few minutes. Okay. Before I get to my TikTok shout out. Actually, you know what? Let's do two of them today. Okay. You've got both, Emma? Mm-hmm. Okay. Let's see. Nice. Nice bumper. Your TikTok shout out today. Love your bumper. Mine is brought to you via. Dave Portnoy. So before we go into the cut, are you familiar with Dave? Me? Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Well, I mean, some people know him from Barstool. This is similar but different. I mean, it's a totally different platform. So Dave does these one bite, everybody knows the rules. That's kind of what launched him, right? Made him even more popular. Yeah, I think definitely. And Bleacher Report and all that. Yeah. But what's crazy is I love. Things like, what is it? Drivers Dine-ins and Dives. Oh, I love that show. I watch those shows, and I do take notes. Like, if I'm in an area, I will go specifically to a restaurant that they— 1,000%. Yes. And so I love his reviews. And his reviews are pretty daggone spot on. The reason he's so popular is he's a genuine guy. Sure. He's not lying. Correct. You know what I mean? He does incite. So i chose this one because this is i think his largest score ever. Okay um but it's always a cheese pizza right yeah. Like he doesn't want like some yeah this is uh and i love that they all try to do something different yeah and he's like no i just want my you know like that's our review and um so i don't know if you so that you know he does a bunch uh Emma, do you have access to be able to look to how many followers he has on just this? I can do it while the video's playing. Okay. Till kill two. All right, but go ahead. This is one bite Dave Portnoy pizza reviews. Go ahead. Interview time. Delicious. All time. Hit list spot. I've been circling it, dancing around it. Doing the. Lombardo with it. Been around since 1917. A lot of lists will say this is the best pizza, not only in Jersey, but like the world. If you know how I like my pizza, this is how I like my pizza. It's an A +. This looks like this is a sexy girl or guy shaking that ass walking. Down the street. And a couple things. We got the inside. And I was reading the articles. And they're talking about the brick oven, how it's been around for 100 years. And you can't basically recreate that. No new pizza place can recreate that. Telltale sign. You see the huge, like, the pizza. I don't know what you call them. Sticks? That's generally a sign that you got great pizza on your hands. They had them there. One bite of it and it's a. Zero flaw. I already know this is above an eight. It just doesn't get to a nine. I've done 3,000 of these. I just know. Amazing, Chris. Is it the best pizza I've ever had? It's 100% in the conversation. This is spectacular. This is a 9.4. It's a 9.4. Gas. Pull yourself up off the ground. There's the pride of Raritan. It's like you can put, if you live in where you have a town and you have like, I don't know, Niagara Falls or the Grand Canyon or something you can be proud of, I'm sure Raritan, their high school is probably like the fight in Delucius. Spectacular. I mean, three to four hours drive. This is in the three to four. You drive three to four hours for this pizza. 9.4. Spectacular. I'm telling you right now. What a promotion. What a promotion. I love those. So what I love about all of them is just how different they are. Four and a half million followers. Yeah. 4.8. It's just how different they are. Like different cities. The one that he did with the, oh, shoot. The guy out front that comes out and cuts him out. Yeah, that kicks him out. I mean, that's the best. Yeah. And I love that he went back. Yeah. And he gave that one a real review. Okay. Because that guy obviously didn't work there anymore. Oh, okay. But he went back to it to give him a second chance. That guy wasn't the owner? No, he was a manager. I never knew that until just now. No. And he tells him to go get a larger shirt. Oh, no, not that one. Okay. Yeah, that guy was an ass. Okay. Oh, I hate that guy. I know which one you're talking about. Okay. No, this was a chain. I can't remember the name of it. Godfather's. Okay. Hey, type that in real quick. Godfather's is great. I think it's Godfather's. You got to make sure it's Dave Portnoy. That was Herman Cain's pizza. Godfather. Remember that? The 999 guy? I think this is it. Goodfellas. Goodfellas. Oh, okay. Sorry. Yes, that's right. I remember. It's 0.0. The TikTok of it. Real quick. We got a little time. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Kicked out. That's what he's like. Goodfellas pizza kicked out. I wanted to see because I thought it was in. I don't know what city it's in. Just play any of them. This is the original. Goodfellas, one bite at a random. The rules, big slice. Frankie, this one could have been sitting around for a while. It is not one. Strike against Goodfellas. Pizza guy comes, may want to warm it up. Just a thought. 9.1. Someone just yelled 9.1. It's ice cold. They gave me an ice cold slice. Ice cold. Go ice fishing with an igloo on this. This guy's got permission to shoot. On my patio today. There it is. Cool. So I'm going to need you to make your way out this way. I give this a 0.0. Good fellas. Kicked out. National pizza review. 0.0. I'll throw it away for you, though, so we don't litter. It's trash. Thanks, boss. Trash. What a mistake that guy made. Kicked out. Wow. Isn't that crazy? That's ridiculously dumb. All right. All right. We'll move it on to sports. I'll give you before him. Oh, okay. Corey Dunn will join us. Gotcha. Hey, Corey, you got us? Yes, sir. I got you loud and clear. All right. Um, so, uh, this past weekend, we enjoyed the heck out of coming down there. Um, how many, is this your first attempt of making the race where you, uh, actually could make laps and qualify? Um, no, this was actually, this was actually technically my fourth attempt. Um, But it was only– this past weekend was the first time I've ever actually completed. A whole heat race. Oh, wow. Okay. Do you– so I wanted to. Get– Damage him. Oh, go ahead. Sorry. No, that's fine. I wanted to get your perspective because as a fan, we kind of saw how the whole process works. But as a driver– Yeah. This is a huge, for those who don't know, the Martinsville late model is like your guy's Super Bowl, right? Yeah, I mean, it's like our Daytona 500. You know, it's our biggest race of the year. Normally has the most car count of the year, which this year I believe we had 87 cars take time and qualify, which is, I mean, that's a lot of cars. Yeah. So as a driver, when you're going into that situation, you qualify on Friday night. What's it, you know, what are the emotions? Because obviously you've worked on the car. You don't really know much about, I guess you did have some practice, but going into qualifying, you get two laps, right? And so you got to nail it. Yeah, I mean, you've got to absolutely 110% nail it. And Martinsville is super, super tricky with trying to qualify at that time of night because, for one, on occasions you'll have dew roll in, you can have fog roll in. And I actually feel like the last probably 20 to 25 cars probably had a more of an air advantage than the cars that went earlier in the qualifying session because it cooled off drastically over the course of the qualifying session. So the better lap that you can lay down in your final practice session, the better off you are to line up for qualifying because, like I said, some years it's better to go early than qualifying because if the doing stuff rolls in unexpectedly, the track will change and get super, super slick. Um, so, you know, it all depends on, on the weather and how everything lines up to, um, to where you want to be qualified wise. And honestly, I wish that I was, I'd laid down a little bit of a better lap in my, uh, my practice session, um, so that we could have qualified a little bit later. Wow. Um, so between the pole, which was a track record for late models, right. Yeah, not only was it the pole, but there was actually six cars that were faster than the previous track record. Wow. So from first to car 87, what are we talking about difference in times on average between the first and last car? I believe it was either seven or eight-tenths of a second. Wow. But from first to. But from first to 50th, which would have been two spots behind me, it was less than a half a second. Wow. That's just crazy. I mean, how perfect. Do you have to be? I mean, you have to be 110% on it. And when I looked at the qualifying list, we qualified 48th. I ran a 20th. I think it was a 20.027 or something like that, which is the fastest that I had ever been around that place. The pole the year before was a 98. Wow. A 1998. Wow. So, you know, to put that into perspective, like also like when you look at the qualifying order and how everybody lined up, everybody that was in front of me They pretty much race late model stocks every single weekend. Yeah. Or every other weekend. Like, touring series, you know, local stuff. Like, I mean, it's 87 of the best drivers in Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. I mean, there is absolutely no slouches in the entire field. Best of the best equipment. Like, you know, it's huge. Hey, Corey, that's what I was going to ask you. This is Trent. How is this car different? I mean, how is it just different for you? How's the race different from racing in Pulaski, what we see in your car there? And how much of an adjustment is, how much time do you have to adjust and learn how to do it? Let's see. I got, first off, I mean, there's huge difference between the cars. Like the speed difference in a late model and a limited is drastic. Like a pulaski um a good limited. Qualifying time is somewhere like a 16 40 16 50 and late model if you're getting it done you're running a 15 70 to a 15 80 probably so i mean it's just the speed differences in the cars is huge. Um, and especially at a track like Martinsville, uh. With it being as big as it is, the speed sensation is, is insane compared to like, you know, a South Boston or a Pulaski County or something like that. And, um, we went and tested at a speedway and I probably ran about 40 laps there, which ACE is a lot smaller, um, than Martinsville is. So, you know, even then the speed sensation from ACE to Martinsville is huge. And I got, uh, I believe it was 26 laps from the first practice and 20 laps from the second practice in Martinsville. So 46 laps before, as you guys just mentioned, you pretty much have to be perfect and qualified. I've been on a completely different tire the whole year, too. The American Racer, which I've been on at Pulaski, and the F45 Star Hoosier is what we were running at Martinsville. And the 45 is actually wider than than a American racer tire and has more grit than the American racer tire. So, you know, there's, there's a whole lot of factors that go into it and differences from what I do on a weekly basis or bi-weekly basis, however you want to say it to, uh, to run in this weight model. So when you wake up Saturday, how did, how confident did you feel? And is it rough sitting around waiting to the time you can finally climb in the car? Um, I mean, I'm not going to say it's rough sitting around waiting. Cause we got plenty of stuff to do, you know, during the day before, before we go into the heat race and all that, like we get there and they allow you to work on the car a little bit. So we made, you know, we made a couple of adjustments, um, Saturday morning before the heat race. And then you had the fan fest and you have all of them come down and, you know, sign autographs, all that stuff. So there's a lot going on, the driver's meeting, you know, there's a lot going on between the time, um, you know, you've got, you got your heat race and you get there that morning. Um, really when everything kind of starts setting in and it's, it's getting real that it's go time is when the heat races start. Um, you know, it's, you're sitting there watching and you're like, okay, how are these heat races going? So you're wondering about how many cautions they're going to have, how they're racing. You're watching the cars that are out there that are good. Like what kind of line they're running and stuff like that. So that, you know, where you need to be and what you need to do to try and make, your situation the best that it can be. But I mean, honestly, rolling into Saturday, I felt really, really good about the race car that we had. And, um, the boys made some adjustments to it Saturday morning and made it that much better. I mean, that was by far probably the best car that I felt like I've had down there, um, to make the race. And I honestly feel like we probably would have made the race had we not hit some of the adversity that we did. Yeah. Yeah. So, um, when you take off, um, Well, let's rewind just a second. Before the heat race, you're at your car, I'm assuming, when the fight breaks out just right almost in front of your car. Not only was I right at my car, I was sitting in my car when the fight broke out. Yeah, I witnessed the whole thing. So, I mean, does that take any of your focus away or are you just like, ah, get out of the way, let me get to work here? I mean, no, it doesn't really take the focus away. I mean, you know, you just kind of see it all unfold, and you're like, man, these guys, you know. It's Martinsville. Hoping nobody gets seriously injured. Yeah, it's Martinsville. Hoping nobody gets seriously injured. I mean, if anywhere that's going to happen, Martinsville is probably one of the top on the list because it's just so prestigious to get into that race. And these cars are so close, man. In order to pass people, you almost– can't not use your bumper i mean there's just there's a good there's a good way and a bad way to do it though you know there's a tactful way and then a and then a untactful. Way sure brian was hoping the guy would throw him on your. Hood get a better camera angle. Yeah yeah no i mean it uh they bounced off the spoiler in front. Of me though oh wow that's crazy um So when you get started, you're running around pretty good. We're up there watching, and we're so excited because you're starting to move forward. And then you're really starting to make gains. I feel like if you don't get turned, I don't feel like you finish in the top ten. I feel like you're probably seventh or sixth, somewhere around in there when this thing is over. Yeah. I mean, that was my thoughts too. You know, um, we went back and we were looking at lap times right there before all that happened. And I was, I was running lap times better than several of the cars in front of me. And, um, you know, that, I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing, you know, looking back on it, we're like, man, what, what, what could have been because the car that finished 10th in my heat race, Brandon Lopez finished 11th in the main race. Yeah. Sure did. Um, So did you get a chance to speak with, uh, Johnson? I think it was after the race. Yeah, he came, he came over to my car probably about 15, 20 minutes after the race was over. And, um, he apologized to me and said that he made a mistake. He just, he got down in the corner too hot. And, um, you know, he wished that, that he hadn't done it. And, um, you know, I, I, I told him, I was like, look, man, I said, there's, there's one silver lining for you. I said, you're young enough. Cause he said he's 17 years old. He's a kid. Yeah. Um, you know, not saying that he shouldn't be in the position that he's in or anything like that, because he won a track championship. Like he's from a racing family. Um, you know, he, I think he finished, uh, second or third last year in the entirety of the division one standings and won the national rookie of the year in division one, which is basically late model racing. Right. Yeah. So, I mean, the kid has, the kid has on the quickie development, like the kid has promised the kid has talent. He just, I mean, he literally came over to me. He's like, look, man, I just overshot it. And I got into you. I got in there deeper than I wanted to. I'm really sorry. I hate it. I regret it. And I was like, you know, you're young enough. You can learn from it. just make sure you don't make the same mistake again. Cause you know, I told him, I was like, man, I really feel like I was moving forward. And if you could have stayed with me, we probably both would be in the race right now. Yeah. Good point. All right. So what would you, I mean, I know it's been in your head ever since, what would you do different? And what do you work on over the off season to try and get better next year? What's the plan? I mean, honestly, just take good notes on everything so that we've got a good baseline going back next year. Because, I mean, honestly, every time that we hit the track this weekend, we made gains. We got better. Which, as a driver, that's all you can ask for. We never went backwards. It was always forwards. So, you know, and me getting more comfortable and laps around there. Because, I mean, realistically, like we talked and mentioned earlier– 40 laps at a track like martinsville when you haven't been in a in a late model all year is a tall task in itself already sure um so just having that confidence and knowledge going back um you know with a good race car good baseline and knowing that you can fine-tune just a little bit more to get some more out of it i think i think that sets you up really well for success the following year. Um does the track limit how much i mean the setups. Yes. They do limit how much you can practice? You cannot test at all there throughout the year. Wow. So you can't go and make laps. You get two basically hour and 30-minute practice sessions, and that's it before you qualify. Well, shout out to CNC, right? The gentleman that hooked your car up? Yep. Yep. Shout out to CNC performance for sure. They, they, uh, they took very good care of me. Um, they took the car and they completely set it up with me and tested at ACE and, you know, thanks to all my sponsors and everything that made that happen, you know, cause without them, I wouldn't be able to get with CNC either. So, you know, obviously thank you guys here on the podcast and everybody else that had a hand in it. Yeah. Maybe we can talk your dad into, uh, maybe doing a late model at ACE. Maybe. Yeah. I mean, maybe next year, we. Don't, we don't know. We don't know what's going to happen next year. You know, I don't know if you'll ask, you already released her schedule, but I don't know what kind of, I don't know what kind of, uh, classes and everything they're running up here, you know, on a regular basis, but there is going to be a car store race up there. I would love to run the car store race up there. In late model. Um, That would be, you know, home track home. Uh, I'm not going to really say home field advantage because going to Martinsville and going to run in the car store is like the same thing. You know what I mean? Like you're going to have the best of the best talent, you know, teams and all that stuff show up. So, um, going up there and running that at my home track would be huge. I've only had one car store start that was in, uh, 2021 and it was actually at South Boston. Um, so I would love, I would love to get another car store start. Under the belt. That would be amazing. But, you know, again, um, funding has to, has to happen and be there for that, you know, because none of this stuff is cheap. Um, so one last couple of questions here. Um, you mentioned, you mentioned Pulaski. Um, uh, how is that? How has that, in your eyes, worked out this year and next year? Do you think they're heading down the right path to bring Pulaski back at even better than ever? Yeah, for sure. The staff up there is top-notch. They did absolutely everything they could this year to make sure that we were all taken care of, set the schedule out early. We are in... conjunction with South Boston. Um, so we're not running on top of South Boston, which we did a bunch this year. Um, and I think whenever you run on, on tracks like South Boston and stuff like that, it's, it's, it hurts, but working with them and they're, I mean, they're trying to do all the right things up there facility wise to try to work on stuff as they can to bring it back to where it used to be. bringing in the car store is huge. Um, they're doing other touring series coming up there next year and doing a whole bunch of other events and things like that. They've got a full Christmas deal planned out, you know, with the whites and everything else in the off season to try and keep people coming up there. And, you know, I mean, I think it's only going to get better from here as long as people will continue to support it. Um, racers need to, to, some of these cars that I know that are in, in garages and things like that, bring them out, come out support and just make you ask you what it, what it can be. Um, everybody that was up there this year, we had great, great racing. The car counts weren't exceptional, but in a lot of the classes, the racing was really good. Um, you know, so you can't ask for much more than that as a fan. Anyways, I know when car counts are down, it doesn't look as good. But, man, some of the on-track product that we had was phenomenal. So you've got one race left on the schedule this year? I know this weekend was postponed, but will they make that up? Yeah, they just canceled it. They said there will not be a make-up. So they actually totaled up all the points and everything, and I ended up second in points after the drop week. Oh, they did do a drop week. Yep, they did a drop week. Otherwise, it would have been me getting the points title again. But, you know, they had a drop week in there. And with the drop week, it drops me back to about 10 points behind the guy that ended up winning. And that would have been Kyle? Yep, Kyle Dudley. Yep. Before I let you go here, you know, he was obviously trying to make the race as well. And same thing happened to him. Somebody took him out. Do you secretly root for him when he's at Martinsville trying the same thing you're doing? Me and Kyle have a great relationship. We've been friends for a number of years now. Racing together, we always race each other really well. I always like to see the hometown guys do well. Especially at something like that. There was only... there wasn't that many of us from around here that went down there this year from, you know, the Salem Roanoke area. I think there was only three or four of us from this, from this area right here. And I don't think any of us made the race this year. Yeah, I know it was tough. I mean, Kyle definitely had the car, but you know, same thing just got taken out. Yeah. Yeah. But that's, that's Martinsville, you know, everybody's fighting for every inch and, You can be mad about it at the time, but, you know, when you sit back and you really think about it, that's Martinsville. Everybody gets up on the wheel and they use their bumper. I mean, it is what it is. The best part about it is that I can say I know Kyle can't really say the same thing because somebody else came in and kind of collected them up a little bit, but my car has just got a little bit of cosmetic damage. We can fix it, and, you know, we don't have to do anything crazy to get it ready to go to go race again somewhere. If we want to want to do that at the end of this year, start off next year. Strong. Wonderful. All right. Well, it was great catching up with you. Um, congratulations on a great year at Pulaski and a great performance at Martinsville. Uh, sorry, it didn't quite end the way you wanted it to, but again, thanks for catching up with us today, Corey. Yeah, no problem. Appreciate you guys having me on here. All right. Bye-bye. Very cool. All right, that was Corey Dunn, driver of the number 75 Life, Liberty, Happiness podcast car. Pontiac Series 28 PB Streamliner. Four-door sedan. And I said, well, how am I going to get it down there so you can work on it? You know, Don. We've got trailers here. And he said, Marty can drive it. Okay. There you go. No power steering. Good luck with that. All right. Um. Moving on to sports. I got to find my page, man. Just terrific sports weekend. Okay. We had a phenomenal football game with college game day being in Tennessee. Yeah. The whole back and forth. And then we leave to go to the track thinking Tennessee is lost. And then they have a comeback. They get an onside kick. And they have a legitimate shot at the end. Yeah. Now, there was a little bit of controversy surrounding the onside kick. Yes. But it would have counted. I mean, right? Yeah. I mean, if they'd gotten touchdown, then, I mean, obviously Texas would have been pissed. But I guess he dropped a kick or something. It was like a roll kick or something. Yeah, it was weird. But anyway, great football game. Tennessee, I think, is a lot better than what most people thought. Yeah. You bought it? Right now I'm the high bidder. One minute left? 55 seconds to go. 55 seconds to go. And you can go to the Counts Auction and Realty app. Just don't bid against us. Yeah, don't bid against me. There's also a 1947 DeSoto. DeSoto. I don't even know what that was, but apparently that was an old car manufacturer. Right. LSU is back on the winning side. I don't know how good LSU is. But I know Texas A & M is struggling. Oh, yeah. I thought they would win the national championship. Wake had a nice upset. Yeah. This weekend. And over Louisville, right? Yes. Florida seems to be the real deal. And Iowa beats Michigan. Yeah. That was the crazy one. Pat McAfee mentioned that if Iowa won, that's where college game day would be going this weekend. And that is where they're going. We won. We won. We won the bid. Won the bid. So now you have a. I have a 1948 Pontiac Series 28 PB Streamliner. Plus. With the original engine and interior. That's the only clap I have. I'm sorry. That's the perfect clap. That's the only clap. One for $ 7, 600. Plus the... How much? $ 7, 600. $ 7, 600. Plus the buyer's premium. Don't forget that. $ 800. Nice. Oh, that's it? That's not bad at all. Yeah. Taxes? So, it looks like, oh, man, look at all this. There must have been a hundred and, there was 190 items in that bid. Wow. All kinds of antique furniture. Marty's probably spent that much in furniture. But now you got to get a garage. No, I'm taking it down at dawn. And then next February, we're going to take it down with the Greensboro Auto Auction to see if I can flip it. Heck yeah. You know? Dude, there's nothing more exciting than what you're doing right there. Yeah. My hands are sweaty. Oh, nice. I'm like more nervous than when I was dating. Well, honestly, you can't do this without counts. I mean, that's how awesome it is. You can sit here and do a live podcast with an uneducated person. bidding and still getting it. Yeah. It's amazing. And I appreciate you wrapping up that interview just in time so I could do it. He said, yeah. I wasn't listening. I was still nervous. I'm just nervous. You're uneducated. This weekend's matchup. Yes. Let me go back. Yes, this weekend's matchup. Pitt and Virginia Tech on Friday night. Okay. That is, to me, a huge game. Pitt and Virginia Tech? Yeah. Is Virginia Tech back? Yes, they are. Is the stadium atmosphere back the way it was, you know what I'm saying, in their heyday? I would say people are just anxious to be cheering. Oh, gosh, yeah. And then you've got a Pitt team coming in with Pat Narduzzi, who always has a tough team. So we'll see if the Hokies are ready to put on a show on Friday night. I still don't like the Friday night games. Because I feel like Friday night is for high school football. But our own backup producer, Logan Orange, will be attending. So we'll get some feedback from him next week on how that went. And then you have Notre Dame and UNC. That, to me, is a– It's a decent game. Yeah, it's a matchup. That's what I like. Early in the season, you're still trying to figure out what teams are actually good and which teams just haven't performed and are still good. Yeah, UNC had lost to Clemson, but that was at Clemson. And I think they're home against Notre Dame. So, it could be a sleeper. Alabama is on the road at the Cowbell. So, is Mississippi State for real? That quarterback seems to be the real deal. Mm-hmm. At least Nick Saban thinks he's the real deal. Yeah. He called that a long time ago. Hey, I was a little confused. Last year, Netflix did a pre-SEC show to follow around teams. They didn't do that this year, did they? I don't think so. And what is funny is because I love the Mississippi State guy. I like to see that he's having success. Yes. Or did they fire him as a different guy and I didn't even know it? I think it's the same guy. Yeah. I mean, he was like a good dude and he was like that fundamentals guy versus the, you know, Six wide receivers and Josh Heupel, you know what I mean? Yes. He wasn't– you know, crazy. You know how I think like going to Neyland Stadium or LSU or even going to a game at Michigan I think would be awesome. Yeah. Notre Dame, places like that. Let me just tell you one place I would never go to. I'm thinking exactly what you are. I would never go to a Mississippi State game. I could not. Freaking cowbells driving. Give me a headache. Dude. Just the sound. I mean, why? I don't even like going to a travel baseball game where a mom brings the cowbell. Yeah. I was like, come on. Couldn't you just get that? That's why we hate soccer with the stupid. Yeah. What the hell? That was South Africa when they did it. Is that the only place they do it? No, that's where it originated from. It was that. But did they do it in Miami? I'm sure there's people that bring the flute. The flute. Whatever it is. All right, so moving on to some other big games. Ohio State-Iowa. That's now a huge game. Oh, so I was going to mention before, Pat McAfee. When you played the TikTok of Dave Portnoy, when Fox Sports— That was their answer was getting him. And I was thinking that's the only person I could think of that could even be close to Pat McAfee. You know what I mean? How they've gotten huge because of their online presence. Yes. I mean, he's not Pat McAfee, but he does help the show. I don't know if he's still on it or not. What's crazy about that is Pat started with Portnoy and Barstool. I did not know that. Yeah. Parted ways early. Not a bad thing. I mean, he's had some great talent at Barstool that's gone on to do big things. Very cool. So you've got college game day at Iowa? That's what McAfee said last week. I think it was, yeah. He said if Iowa beats Michigan, they're already going to college game day. All right, so how does high noon work? Yeah, I wondered that too because they've got this game. That's been done in the past. Sure, yeah. That's great. I mean, both of them have been on the same campus before. Well, this is where you've got to be for this week. Yeah. I look for Iowa to get the upset. I'm calling it here. Iowa's good. Is it much of an upset there? Aren't they both top ten? Beat Ohio State? Yeah. I don't think that'd be an upset. Gotcha. All right. Florida, Missouri. Does Florida have a letdown? I mean, Ohio State's already lost once anyway. What? Oh, that's right. They lost to Texas. You know, Missouri is that team. They're kind of like Vanderbilt the last couple years. They just keep winning those games. So does Florida have a letdown? Yeah. But in the SEC, what you also have to look for is what's next week's game. Yeah. That's what happens a lot, you know. Yeah. It's like, who are you playing next week in the trap game? UVA is at Florida State. That'll be an L. For Florida State? No. No. Norvell ain't got that team playing well. We'll see. All right. And Miami-Clemson. That actually is a good, a decent. Yeah. Another game where you think one team is good. Yeah. Is the other team good? It was nice to see Davidson have kind of a good breakout game. Yes. From Clemson. Definitely. The LCA product. Oh, dude, I had no idea. Either you or somebody told me that the quarterback at LSU is a Radford graduate. Radford Haskell. That is crazy. Went to Elon. Yeah. He's good. Radford Haskell must have some products because that's who LCA recruited for their kid. Oh, wow. And then how about that score last week? We hadn't mentioned that. I don't see that in the agenda. No, definitely not. J.F. hammered LCA. Hammered them. Yeah. And you know what? LCA kind of deserves it. They made J.F. their homecoming game. Wow. I mean, that's like a little slap. That is a slap. Yeah, so they got them. So the NFL, the Redskins seem to be back with an upset over Seattle. Ugh. How does the NFL happen? I know. I mean, I know they're all pros, so all of them are studying. So who was the quarterback for the Redskins? Mariotta. Mm-hmm. Oh, I keep forgetting Marietta's there. Yeah. I mean, that's a decent backup for you to have to fill in for. Case Keenum this weekend. Yeah. Where did he come from? Yeah. Holy cow, he looked great. University of Houston. I think he's now past Ryan Fitzgerald. Is that the guy's name? Oh, really? The big beard. Fitzpatrick. Yeah. I got tickled because they put up Case Keenum's stats from college, which he has still records. Like they're not even close to being broken. Wow. Even after all these years, I think it's 15 years in the NFL. Yeah. He still doesn't have as many touchdowns as he had in his four years of college. You're kidding. Wow. I thought Troy Aikman, it was the perfect stat to have up there. That's amazing. Cause Troy was like, listen, this is how good this kid was in college. Like, I don't think people understand. Yeah. That's awesome. Yeah. Good for him. Uh, let's see. Uh, I don't see a clear-cut favorite in the NFL. Do you? Buffalo. I think Buffalo, too, but they lost this weekend. No, they didn't. Oh, they did? They came back and won. They came back and won? Yep. Oh, hell yeah. Yeah. Never mind. Yeah, Buffalo. All right. And, dude, I sat down last night, Trent. I know you hate me for this. Okay. But the WNBA. Not just for this. And it's so good. Like, they're so good to watch Indiana. They're so fun to watch. But they can't help themselves. WNBA. Is this the Aja Wilson thing? Yes. Just get out of my face. Dude, she had no right. When I watched it live. Yeah. And I said, oh, you can't go at the fan like that. Yeah. This is the problem. They've allowed them to do this. Yeah, of course. They've allowed them to kick fans out they don't like. The inmates are running the asylum. Correct. And she runs over Sophie Cunningham. so you know she did that on purpose. And she wants to get in the next white person's face. 100%. I have no idea what the guy looked like. I'm just assuming. Well, here's the thing that pissed me off. Okay. The announcers immediately go to it like it's racist. Oh, of course. And how dare them, you know, this seems to be a problem with fans. Just Obviously, they want you to think Indiana is a bunch of racists. Yeah. So the referee, you see him get in her face and tell her. Yeah. Right off. He goes and looks at video. He issues a technical foul as well. He should. And the announcers are dumbfounded. Yeah. How could this be? He had to have said something to set her off. Yeah. They never mentioned. And they go, good, the fan has been kicked out. They never mentioned the fan was allowed back in. Because they have video. The man did nothing wrong. That's the second time I've seen that this year happen. Absolutely nothing wrong. Now, Trent, if it was a real league, guess what would happen? She'd be fine. She would be suspended. But you're not going to find your four-time MVP or suspend them. Because it's been proven that the fan did nothing wrong. So see for yourself. Cut to. Oh, cool. We're running the fan. We had security look into it. There was no violation of fan code of conduct. Therefore, the fan was allowed back in. So we consider that manner close. If anyone needs a statement, just let me know. There's the fan. Obviously he's a season ticket holder. Probably what got me when it happened immediately. Like I was watching it live. What got me is there is literally security standing right beside the guy. If he was doing something inappropriate, they would have stepped in. Yeah. She has no right to go at him. Yeah. And her press conference afterwards was atrocious. She said, he came at me in a violent way. Trent. He's literally just pointing at her. That's what she has run over someone. Well, that's a racist thing to point at her. Okay. This is what she said after it was okay for her to do it. She says, you. Don't point at me is what she tells him. That's not okay. Yeah. If pointing has become now the thing that you can't do, we're done. I mean, there are no fans. Like, what does fans stand for, Trent? Fanatics. Thank you. I mean, they have the right. They've paid the money. He's not yelling something inappropriate. Yeah. Like any minor league baseball game. Oh, my gosh. That you would go to. They're the worst. You're going to hear the worst. And pointing would be the best thing that you see. By the way. Let's bring up the best poster at College Game Day this weekend. Arch Banning. It was the best. Yeah. Do you like my arch? Is that offensive? You're right. Yeah. It's funny. It's a large it might be, but it was funny. Yeah. I mean, it's great. Yeah. This is what makes sports great. Yeah. You hit the nail on the head. They have let. Inmates. The inmates run the asylum. Yeah. No doubt. NASCAR. Yeah. Larson dominated. Man, he's just getting better and better and better. Denny does not seem to be worried whatsoever. Watched a clip of him, and he said Law averages out. Larson will have a couple of bad weeks, and we'll be back. Yeah, hope so. I like both of them being up there at the top. It makes it very intriguing. I'll tell you who you don't want. The guy that's lurking right behind him. Chris Bell? Logano. Oh, okay. I thought he dropped a little bit. That would ruin all of your... He's still fourth. He's 67 points. I thought you said right behind him. Well, I think 67 is right behind him. Okay. Yeah, Chris Bell was right behind him. But go ahead, as you were. That's something you do not want to have happen. No, I don't want that. Because that would ruin all your theories. I really don't want Chris Bell either. Oh, really? He's just... No personality. He's vanilla. Yeah. Good driver. Don't get me wrong. All right. Yeah. Yeah. That is sports moving on to what's happening. Brown, brown, brown, brown. It's time for news. All right. Election is right around the corner. Yeah. Uh, still feeling good. Oh, I feel great. Okay. It's the common sense versus crazies. I agree. Crazies can't win. They just can't. Hopefully. Yeah. Uh, Something you will not see in the news. Median income reaches an all-time high. Yeah. Isn't that amazing that you can't tell that story? Funny thing is, the only time I know these things is when I see clips of Trump telling me these things. Right. Then I see a little blurb later, and he's right. If that was under Biden, it would be the headline. So I saw a headline on Fox of data centers. It said data center built in quiet cul-de-sac. Oh, how peaceful. Well, I thought, let me click on the article. Dude, it says where the cul-de-sac's at. Okay. I'm just going to paint this for you. It's in Loudoun County. Okay. Now, is there a quiet neighborhood in Loudoun County, Trent? Loudoun County might be the king of data centers. Okay, it is, of course. But if you're going to write an article so it's negative towards data centers- You don't pick Loudoun County. No, probably not. Because the quiet cul-de-sac they're talking about, and I'm not making this up, within a stone's throw of that cul-de-sac is Dulles International Airport. That sounds pretty quiet and peaceful. Not quiet. With another stone's throw across the street the other way is a Target. Okay, don't make it sound like they picked this quiet little neighborhood and stuck it in. A little residential setting. Oh, my God. Yeah. Just. So our clip coming up on Win-Win-Win is basically Trump talking about data centers. Yeah. Let's give both sides to the data center. Yeah. And we'll hear what his thoughts are. Okay. Caterpillar. Yep. Don't know if you saw this in the news today. I did not. Caterpillar is investing $ 1 billion into Sanford. I'm supposed to say Sanford, not Stanford. manufacturing plant, along with $ 185 million from local investment. Sounds like we're in the golden age. And they will create 600 new jobs. Yeah. So I was curious, where is Sanford? Right? South Carolina? It's North Carolina, but it's just kind of southwest of Raleigh. Okay. And southwest of Greensboro. If you were to draw a triangle, that's what it would be. Greensboro, Raleigh, Sanford. No bigger than Bedford. Yeah. And there's a fricking massive Caterpillar plant across the street. Pfizer. Yeah. And I'm like, how did he, it's zero interstate. Wow. Cause you know, everybody says, well, you can't bring manufacturing to Bedford. There's no major. Yeah. Four 60 interstate 30 minutes from here. Yeah. Four 21 and route one. That's what goes through Sanford. Wow. And that's it. Good for them. Happy for it. Glad it's coming back. Yep. That is your news. Now, moving on to Get Off My Lawn. Get the F off my yard! Like it. He's never happy. Oh, no. Not unless he gives it to you. People know Get Off My Lawn, and that's. What she just said. Well, I said yard. Yard, lawn, same thing. Okay, the famous words are get off my lawn is a saying from a movie. That's where it comes from. That's yours. Okay, I'll make a third bumper. I'm just telling you what the national people know. I will have my third bumper ready by next week. I brought it last week. Thank you, Emma. It's just you weren't. Here for this. Yeah, but I was told to use this one. Oh, is that right? By two people. Gotcha. I will have your third ready soon. They just don't know movies. Trent, everybody knows that movie, but that's not. That's the saying. There's other sayings. I'm just telling you that's where it is. It's not a coin saying. Okay. It's not a coin saying. Why don't we just play those bumpers? That's all right. Go ahead. It's your show. There's actually a skit. Oh, yeah? On Saturday Night Live. Okay. We'll bring that one in next week. Okay. But it's not national. Gotcha. We're going to run out of room for bumpers. Win, win, win. Oh. We're going to win, win, win, and we're going to make America great again. Data centers. If we're not smart, they'll end up building data centers in other countries, and those other countries will make a fortune, and we won't. The data centers are making a fortune, but now what's happening is something very important. The people in those areas, that we discussed this at length today, they're going to greatly benefit financially. I want them to be in the right location within a community. You know, if you look at Loudoun County, if you look at some of these counties, they're making billions of dollars. Taxes are going way down. The data centers are making an absolute fortune. But now the people are going to benefit directly, whether it's teachers that get paid a bonus, whether it's people that live in the community that get paid a dividend. You could call it a dividend because a dividend sounds right. They are going to greatly benefit by what's happened. Nice. I agree 110%. At least you get a real answer. Yes. Wait till we go into Have At It. I'll give you some that aren't real answers. True international over-depressure is an answer. It's just we didn't like it. All right. Moving on to Mount Rushmore. Yeah. We have Mount Rushmore of best sports punches. Fights. Yeah. Right? Start with Chris's, right? Yes. All right. You got them. Oh, sorry. It's got a work text. Yeah, I liked his. He had some good ones. It is. Of course, then you asked another question, and we have to scroll further down. All right. Number one is probably one of the top five of anybody's. It's Cale Yarborough and Donnie Allison fighting on NASCAR, that first televised race. Yeah. So that's a big punch. Where was that at? Daytona, 1979. Turns. Turn four. I think it was turn four, yeah. Then actually it could have been between one and two because they still had to come around to finish the race while the punches were going on. Yeah. And then number two, he's got Nolan Ryan on Robin Ventura. Definitely. A really good one. This one a lot of people don't know about, but if you can Google Kermit Washington and Kermit like Kermit the Frog. Yeah. Kermit Washington punching Rudy Tomjanovich. So Rudy Tomjanovich was the coach of the Houston Rockets for a good while. And I didn't know– I mean, I knew he played basketball because you could tell because he's one of the tall guys. But he's famous for getting knocked the F out on court. Sucker punch, right? It was a sucker punch, and he went down like he had been shot. Yeah. It's nasty. I do remember that. And he sent a link because it was a fight between his guy Andre Johnson with the Texans against. I do remember that. Cortland Finnegan. Cortland Finnegan. And, of course, this is a good one that I hadn't even thought of. Pedro Martinez against Don Zimmer. Oh, yeah. Yep. That's on my list. Yeah. So my list was Nolan Ryan, obviously. I think it was the first time in my lifetime that they actually, most of the time people are breaking them up or they roll around or they talk. That was one that was legitimate just wailing. I mean, punch after punch after punch. I had Don Zimmerman and Pedro. Yeah. The Steelers. Remember Rudolph getting... Oh, that was on Perry's list. Yeah, hit by Miles Garrett. Yeah. With the helmet, I think, or something. I mean, it's crazy. Yeah, yeah. I had Josevar and Blaney, because I thought those two punches were absolutely straightforward. Those were good clocks. And then Veritech and Alex Rodriguez. Oh, that was a good one, too. Getting at it. Yeah. So. So on Perry, he had Nolan Ryan. This is a good one. Malice at the Palace. Oh, yes. Back in the. Those are some good punches that were in the crowd. Yeah. Who is Odor versus Bautista? I think that was the... If I'm not mistaken, correct me if I'm wrong, that was the one where the one guy is like... Like he's fighting, and I think he swings... But the other guy clips him on the chin and dropped him like a sack of potatoes. Yeah, yeah. Was that like at second base? Yeah. Yeah, okay. That was nasty looking. And he had Garrett and Rudolph. Oh, yeah, definitely. Was Batista the Blue Jay? Yes. Okay. I think so. He's the bat thrower. Because I remember him getting clocked once at second base. And let's see. On mine. Best Punches. Dude, I went back to look at this to make sure I had the right people. You may not remember this because you're too young, but Michael Waltrip and Lake Speed. I did not know they got to fight. Emma, can you put Google and put Michael Waltrip punches Lake Speed? Holy crap. I can't see either one of them having a fighting bone in their body. Michael Waltrip. Walt what? Waltrip? Yeah. Punches Lake Speed. Lake. Lake Speed, which is probably the perfect race car Nassim. Yeah, watch this. Holy cow. I did not know that. Bush Blager. This is a great one. Freaking. And then while that's loading up, do you remember Ricky Stenhouse waiting on Kyle Busch? Oh, yeah. Yeah, that's a good one, too. One that wasn't a punch, Rusty Wallace throwing a water bottle at Earnhardt. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Watch. He pulls his net down. Oh, wow. Michael Walter went over and had words and maybe more with car number nine. Maybe more. I could see it. I was laughing. Y'all knew y'all wouldn't listen to what I was saying. I didn't say anything. That's the old NASCAR. Yeah. Notice he keeps looking over his shoulder. Yeah, make sure he's not getting run over. I think they showed again. You can see Michael is very upset. He comes up, pulls his car in front of Lake Speed, gets out of the car, walks back there to him. It's got to be slow motion. I think that's Ned Jarrett. Wow. Holy crap. And knowing Michael Waltrip, you wouldn't think he'd ever do something like that. No. I didn't know until later that I had no idea that Lake Speed self-funded a lot of his racing career. I had no idea. Ross Chastain. Who was it that he clocked? Noah Gregson. Noah Gregson. And he comes up the aggressive. It was just kind of like Joseval. He comes up the aggressive, and Ross isn't waiting. He just clocks him. Yeah. Those were the good ones. So those are the best sports punches. Emma got any punches? No. I don't like violence. I couldn't tell you one. Is there a good girl punch? That's not a UFC event? Well, I mean, Sophie Cunningham grabbed that one girl and threw her to the ground and then went to go at her. I would give Sophie Cunningham any award. She's actually a jujitsu, like blue. That's so cool. I mean, she can fight. Yeah. That's why she never backs down. Yeah. Like everybody says, Oh, what's she going to do? Go ahead. Keep testing her. That'd be good. Um, that's a good, I don't, I mean, I guess I will say this. I don't know if you follow it at all, but there is a professional volleyball league. Huh? Um, and it's gaining, I mean, they've now added, I think it was started with seven cities. Now they're adding more. DC just got a team. Hmm. Um, and now that I watch college volleyball, I mean, I've loved watching Nebraska college volleyball. Those girls are incredible. Yeah. Um, yeah, I kind of follow it. I mean, I would love to have one close by to go watch professional. Uh, I guess DC is close enough, isn't it? Yeah. But, um, take your daughter. Hey, big shout out to your daughter's team. Oh man. What a great week. Brookville. TCS takes down the mighty Brookville bees. Yeah. Um, um, Oh, and then Brookville goes and beats JF last night. So I think that's a huge win for TCS. That's cool. Right? It probably makes TCS best team in the Seminole. I'm just kidding. I'm sure it's LCA, but I'll have to look at the. No, I think LCA is pretty bad. Oh, really? I'm pretty sure JF beat LCA. Okay. JF was like seven and three. I think they're pretty good. I'll see if I can find it. I may be wrong. I have been known to be wrong once. Once. They've changed the. Oh, it's Arbiter. It's Seminole District Standings. It's not where it used to be. It's on a new thing called Arbiter. Yeah. So where are we at this week in NASCAR? After Kansas. Oh, we're at Vegas. Oh, yes. I'm going to get my Vegas picks in. So LCA. Good, good. Thought. They're 14-0. What? Yep. No. In volleyball? I'm just telling you. In the Seminole District, they're 14-0. EC Glass is next at 10-4. Brookville is 8-6. JF is 8-6. And Liberty Bedford is 2-11. Of course. Yep. So, that's according to Google. Rustberg? Rustberg is. is 4 and 10. Oh. Yeah. That's sad. Heritage 0 and 14. They've had an awful spell. Yeah. Sadness. Very good. Okay. Yep. Moving on. I just got. Three things to say. God bless our troops. God bless America. And gentlemen, start. All right. So listen to liberal math and this woman gloating like she is so much smarter than anyone else about economics. Oh, God. So let me get this straight. The capitalist grocery stores are suing because they can't compete with the city run grocery stores. Am I getting this correct? Am I getting this correct? That they're suing because they can't compete. That's funny. That's actually hilarious. The math of that. They don't understand, Trent. Yes. So the guy that runs his own grocery store. Yeah. The margins are very, very small. And you hope that you sell enough product that all the margins combined together add. Up, right? Sure. You got to pay for the product. What's on the shelf. They don't just bring it there. But when you are a city and you say, we're going to lower bananas by a third, what do you do to everybody's taxes? You raise their taxes to subsidize that, right? So you could be at a loss. So you run out the capitalist grocery store. It's a false price. It's a fake price. Everybody is paying for that difference in there. Yeah. I mean, honestly, I think they think government makes the groceries. Yeah. And that government is an entity of some type and that capitalists can't compete. She thinks that the mean old capitalist is inflating his prices, right? So not that the grocery store across the street wouldn't try to lower his prices so that you come in his store. That doesn't register with them. You just have a– it's called price controls. That's crazy. Yep. This next one. So there's a little bit of cussing in this because he does it all the time, but I absolutely love this guy, Joe Redden, the older millennial. He tells you about facts and stories that I had never heard of. Have you heard about Tupac's apartment complex? The apartment complex that Tupac grew up in Lynchburg. I mean in Los Angeles. I've never heard of it. Okay. If you were– Let's just say an apartment, a condo. If you're going to buy a condo in, and I know this, in Lynchburg that is brand new, is $ 300, 000- ish, right? It's a three-bedroom condo. So if it was an apartment, it's probably about that same expense, but you're just renting it over its whole life and you hope you make your money that way. So that's the order of magnitude. Let's listen to this renovation project that's in L.A. You live in an apartment, not a house, not a townhouse, an apartment. How much would you need to renovate it to make it everything you ever wanted? Do you think you. Would need $ 900, 000? Because that's what California is about to spend to renovate Tupac's childhood apartment complex. It has 296 low-income apartments, and they are going to spend... $ 266 million. That means they are spending $ 900, 676 per. Apartment. They are about to spend nearly $ 1 million per apartment to renovate a low-income apartment. This is the projects. They are going to spend a million dollars per apartment in the projects... To renovate. Look, I don't know how good the economy must be going amazing in California right now. You guys must have so much fucking money. Because I just want to remind everyone that it would actually be cheaper, somewhere around $ 800, 000 per, to build brand new houses. But no, they are going to spend nearly a million dollars on each apartment in the projects. And you fucking idiots in California. Keep electing these people. That's crazy, man. I don't. Nobody cares about the math. I guess they get on a rail system and go a quarter of a mile to go to the next apartment complex. That's amazing. Now, you know, I don't know all the story behind it. You know, I don't know if it's parking that goes on and all that stuff, too. Maybe there is. But still, the amount per unit. I know. It's just. Oh, don't infuriate me because you're going to right now. Okay. So you had told me about this story. So, Emma, I don't know if you've heard this story, but do you guys remember? Emma, do you know the story about the lone juror a few weeks ago that kept that lady from going free for killing her kids or insane asylum? So now she has to be retried. So this lady on The View has to put herself in the mix of the story. So listen to how sincere she is about this. It's a holdout juror. in a case, in the Daniel Rakowitz case, I don't know if people remember it, the butcher of Tompkins Square Park. It was in 1990. The guy who ate the victims? Yes. You were on that jury? You're gonna need to explain more. Yes, I was. Were you a lawyer already? It was before I. Went to law school. Oh, because I would have never put you on there. And when I brought it up at the Hot Topics meeting, I don't think everyone believed me, and then my producer looked it up, and I'm in the New York Times. And apparently several jurors questioned afterwards said one holdout juror was principally responsible for preventing them. From returning a guilty verdict. That was me. And it was because I saw clearly that he was psychotic. Of course. He was in a psychosis. He did not mean to kill her. And once he killed her, he panicked. He chopped up her body parts. Yes, boiled her body parts. Tried to commit the perfect crime and then fed her. And you got this guy off? No, no, no. But he fed, that's how much I believe in the insanity defense. And he fed her body parts to the unhoused. So just even if you took her at her word, what she was saying there, she's bragging on the fact That she did all she could to get this guy off because of insanity. Like, that's an okay thing. That's insanity. But here's the thing, Emma, after all of that, guess what? She wasn't the holdout juror. She lied. Yeah, that's what someone just said. She literally lied. She was not the holdout juror. The holdout juror was a homeless man that wanted to keep eating because he was getting three meals a day being a juror. So he wouldn't come up with a verdict. She makes it sound like she swayed all the jury or, you know, to keep them from making him feel guilty. She believed in it so much. She believed in all that. How could you get on TV and lie? Dude. Because nobody checks it. And even if you do, like we, how many Joe Biden things did we catch. In a lie? Yeah. Do you think she was even suspended? Hell no. It's just, it's absurd. Ugh. Oh, boy. So let's go to some geniuses. Jasmine Crockett. The one that gives a care. Is Kevin coming on? I guess. I don't know if I had his pics last week, by the way. I kind of forgot. Or maybe you gave them to me. I haven't done the math. But anyway. So, yeah, I do. I guess I could do it during the next break. Listen to how genius this lady is. Constitution is real clear. He don't get no more terms. So we need to have the gavel in the house because If for some reason these fools nominate him and if for some reason the country doesn't. We ain't certifying shit. You know why? Because it's unconstitutional. So y'all go do whatever you big dummies want to do, right? Because y'all clearly don't want to read the Constitution. You claim to love the Constitution. You only know something and not really enough about the Second Amendment. It is clear that it is unconstitutional for him to serve another term. So with that being said, it is important that we are the ones that are controlling the House and that we are the ones that have the Speaker of the House because that certification of the election is going to be really important as well. I remember I called you one day. I think you were on vacation. By the way, I want to know if you're on vacation with a man or if you're by yourself because I was doing the research. I don't know if you're single. I'm single, unfortunately, but there's no way you're as hot as you are, smart as you are, popping as you are, and ain't got no man. Anyway, we'll get to that. That's who's hosting her. Anyways, just stop there. Just stop there. Okay, first off, she says Second Amendment. What I know about Second Amendment is it's gun rights. Yeah, yeah. So she is saying they have to win the House because we are going to violate the Constitution and nominate Trump again. They are legitimately thinking he's going to run again. Oh, dude, it gets better. You know what's going to piss them off is if J.D. Vance wins in a landslide. Yeah. And appoints Trump as secretary of state. Oh, my God. That would be great. Or he'd be his VP. Oh, my God. In case he's killed. And then run again. No, J.D., just step down. Yeah. I don't want to do that. Oh, my God. All those scenarios are going to come out for this next year anyway. All right. Here's more geniusness. Listen to this. From slavery to literally the White House, right? Right. Not once, but twice. No other people can tell this story but Black people. And they hate that. They hate our resilience, but our resilience is built through us knowing our roots, which is our history, which is why they're now trying to take it away. They want to whitewash us. And that's why it's going to be important that Black people say, you can take away. The outward symbolism. You can do all the things. But it's within us. That is what we did in slavery. They tried to break us. But what did we do? We came up with songs that they couldn't understand to basically be able to communicate and say what is going on. And even now, a lot of times when we speak, you know, MAGA is like, oh, she switches it up. And which one is really her? And she's not authentic. She's not really black. First of all, MAGA, y'all not the ones to decide who's black and who's not. We don't start there. That's one thing you can't control. Cannot control. Right. Right. But it is this thing. It is part of actually. Our tradition to actually communicate in a way that Masa does not understand. Wait, Jillian Michaels was recently on CNN where she talked about. Let's just stop right there. Dude, she literally says... Masa? African Americans. It's just dumb. It's just dumb. Kevin hung up on us. Oh. That's just dumb. Yeah. To hang up. I don't, listen. Thanks for calling me. With her, first of all, I think, what, 11% of the population? 13% are black. So how did Obama get elected? Those mean old white racist people. If you had all 13% vote, all of them, you would still lose in the landslide if you didn't have Go ahead. Hanging around like a loose tooth. Why are my dentures in the ice tray? It's Carolina Kevin! Oh, it's that guy again. What up? Are you guys okay there in Bedford? Mm-hmm. Yeah. Y'all having any more technical difficulties? No, I answered you, but they were yapping, so I couldn't put you on yet. Yeah, you just had to be patient. I know, I heard Trent. Which you are not when it comes to this stuff. Well, don't send me nothing that tells me to get on the podcast. At 640, and then I do, and then you delay me. Well, I mean, we get into conversations here. Emma, tell him, stop it. If he says, Kevin, 640... And I call in at 640, and that's what it's supposed to be. Don't give no more excuses. We've had a lot. Yes. Let's move along. Move along. Well, we had a special guest on today, so we had to make sure he was on time. All right. Well, we just want to make sure we're fitting the criteria that we speak. So let's bring it on. What's up, Emma? What's going on in South Carolina? Oh, we just hanging here loose as a goose. Hanging in there like a loose tooth. What were your picks last week? Do you remember? Oh, shoot. I got to look that up. He had the three Bs. He had Briscoe, Bell, and Byron. I can do the math real quick here. And that's the same ones I'm picking this week. The big story this week is Keselowski. And I'm a little bit confused on the story. Is he out of RFK just as a driver, but he's staying on as an owner? Or is he out completely? Unless they buy him out, he's still got stock. I mean, you just don't leave without being bought out, or either he still has stock in it. I was thinking he could still be owner. I mean, that's what Denny Hamlin does. Right. No, I thought the same thing. But apparently, I've been hearing rumors that he obviously is extremely pissed about the performance of RFK. And they released some audio that he's made throughout the year in his car. It would be nice to get the same data from Ford that some of the other manufacturers are getting. Oh, wow. So I think he's very frustrated. So I'm wondering if he's out as an owner as well. And where do you think he ends up? He has said that he can race another 10 years. Huh. Him probably good all day long. No. I think he tries to figure out a way to get a Dodge charter. That's what I've heard. The break card guy says he's going to college to bring Dodge back. I didn't realize that he won in a Dodge Charger when he won his championship, that that was in a Dodge Charger with Miller Lite. It was with a small team, right? Or was it with Penske? When it was with Penske. Okay, because people forget that he was with a small group before he got to Penske when he won. That Muskegee, was it Front Row Motorsports or something? So to update you on last week, because I just did math, Kevin had a great week. All three of his guys were in the top seven. He had a four, a six, and a seven. You didn't have such a great week. You had a 35, a 23, and you did have a six. And I got 24 points, 115 and eight. I'll have to do some math here and get the total. But Kevin won last week. Take it to my guns. I'm going to keep the same one. Nice. All right. I got that. Who you got, Brian? Three beans and you'll believe. They're in Vegas. Yeah. I have my bets this week are Carson Hosovar, Joey Logano, and Christopher Bell. Trash. Trash. I got Blaney, Redick, and Bubba. Ooh, that's pretty good. Redick is kind of. Trash. Yep. And. Yep. Yep. Now Kevin has pulled ahead in second place. You guys are back-to-back. Y'all are passing each other each week. It's like the end of the season. And you're, I'm going to guess you're too far out front. I am. I'm out front, but it only takes a bad week, I think, to. Blow it up. Shouldn't the points have started over? Oh, that's a good point. That's funny. No, I'm... No, I am a voodoo doll with Trent, and so I punched it four or five. Times with needles, so... Trust me, you gasp every time you punch. Just out of the blue, he'll... Yep. I think I'm a full race. I got 11 of them. I got 11, 11 stickeries in his body. He's got a little afro. It's got a little knitted sweater on. It's got a half of a coconut with eyeballs and stuff. I have like a voodoo doll right here. I stick him every now and then. Cool. All right. Still, what do you do with all your vegetables? Do you sell any of them or do you just? No. No, no, no. You keep all of them. Put them up or cook with them. Eat them all. How's the spaghetti sauce? Oh, my mom loved it. She made a zucchini lasagna spaghetti fake thing, and. She used your sauce, and she said it was amazing. The best thing she's ever had, and she wants to buy some. Wow. Wow. Then you see Boss Sauce. Boss Sauce. Is that what it's called? Yeah. Ain't no profit going on here. It's all of love. When I make more batches, I give them away. Yay. Well, make some more batches because I haven't had any. Mine was damaged in the mail. Hello. You hear that train? Yeah. Hear it rolling. Rolling around the bend. Hey, before you get off here, because we got to roll into another segment. Where are you? Are you heading? You've got a Cowboys game that you're going to, right? Yeah, flying out of Charlotte next Wednesday. And you're going to Cowboys and who? Tampa Bay, Thursday night. Oh, a Thursday night game. How cool is that? Baker Mayfield. Or is he out? So this is, he's out. He's out. He messed his thumb up. His stirrum or thumb? Okay. His thumb up. I talk country. Is this the first time you and Dylan have ever been in Texas Stadium? Yeah. That'd be cool. You mean you each haven't been? You've never been yourself? I've never been. Neither one of you have been? Uh-uh. You said it's an amazing place, didn't you? I sat so far up. I could see over that big jumbo drone. Wow. I could literally see across the top of it. I could see the people on the other side. I was that high up. Wow. And it was so high up, and you know I'm afraid of heights. It bothered me how far down I had to look. I had no idea it was that steep. Wow. It felt like you were on a tower looking down. It was crazy. So where are your seats, Kevin? About mid-level. Oh, nice. Nice. Well, you have to send pictures for sure for Emma to put on the show. Mm-hmm. And then after you get back. Yeah, then I get back. We're going fishing. Going to the Nags Head, right? Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. All right. Well, we'll catch up with you next week. Okay. Wait a minute. When are you leaving? I think you end up. I think you and Trent's been part of the fishing trip before. Yep. Yeah. You tried to kill us. One of the worst fishing trips I've ever been on. I mean, I had a fun time, but the fear of being. Down at the bottom of the ocean. Just remember, Trent, just remember one thing. Yeah. I'm not saying I'm old. But back in my day when we were growing up years ago, we pulled maps out of the glove box and we traveled like. We were pirates. You remember? Here comes Brad again. Little Brad. Little Brad. All right. Follow your segment. Continue. So remember the answer that Trump gave before on data centers? Yes. And and. The only thing I don't know why he gets changing names of A.I. that the whole country knows about. And now he's on some kick that everybody needs to say S.I. I don't understand that a bit. You totally don't know how much the country knows what A.I. is when you do all that. Other than that, his answer to things about A.I. are 100 percent spot on. Talking about the amount of money and winning the next. you know, industrial revolution, right? Internet revolution. It could be data centers. Apparently they make money. I don't know how they make the money. I don't even know how it works. But listen to this lady. This is almost our president. Listen to her answer. One of these dumb ass people that hosts are on a show. She's always on a stage. You don't have any idea what the answer is going and where it's going. However, listen for the lady in the crowd. After the cheer quiets down, someone says something in the background. There's no way she knows what the lady has said, and she goes off all of a sudden. And the crowd cheers, but it's like she just got rattled and just blew her top, essentially because she was interrupted while she was answering something. Here's the thing that I think, you know, we can tend to impose limitations on ourselves. Yeah, we do. In a way that we don't deserve. And that are really a reflection of other people's issues. And we should never let somebody else's limited ability to see who we are limit. Who we think and know we are. Let that not be a limiting factor in your life. Because they'll figure it out soon enough. They'll figure out who you are soon enough. And, you know, I sometimes think about, you know what? I am not president of the United States. You want to go to the White House and talk to him? Then go on and do that. What is? Dude, they're so. Yeah, lady. So unprofessional. You told her. It's just like Aja Wilson. You just go off. So you think it's made up? I. 100% think that that could be a possibility that she could have just all read it. But I think she just lost her cool because she had just thought, she had said something that the crowd actually cheered about. So she was reveling in that. Yeah. And she didn't get to keep, you know, how she repeats herself. She didn't get to say it over again because some lady spoke out loud. But here's what I know. What was it? I'm not saying she's stupid, but if you gave her a penny for her thoughts, you'd get change back. That's hilarious. Do you remember when she was campaigning and the news would come out about how many staff members she would go through? Oh, yes. Does that not kind of give you a sample of what it might be like behind the scenes? 100%. She just lost her cool. So that ended have at it. Okay. All right. Um, soon I am running to catch up with my brother. Yeah. That's why I was trying to wrap it up. Gotcha. So we'll end on this clip. Just, uh, I did get a text that LCA is bad this year in volleyball. Oh, okay. Rosberg is nine and one. Oh, um, they moved everything to this arbiter. Okay. Uh, and I don't know what it is, but, uh, The schools have to use this arbiter thing now because we got it at Timberlake. And it has LCA is, I shouldn't say terrible. They are six and six. It doesn't say the year, so maybe this is. Like the last year. Liberty is three and seven. Jefferson Forest, seven and three. That's a good year. What did you say? Not when we were playing. Oh, 10 and 0. Glass, actually, I think it's 9 and 3. That's not bad. And what do you mean by Arbiter? That's the name of the website, Arbiter. So if you put in Seminole District, remember how you used to go to SeminoleDistrict.org? It'll send you to Arbiter. Okay. Yep, and then you'll find the stuff there. It used to be SeminoleDistrict.org, and now they've just sent you to Arbiter. I used to just type Seminole district standings and it always took me to that page where I could choose which sport. Yeah. Unfortunately. It says Seminole district.com is for sale. Yeah. It would be.org. Yeah. Yeah. Anyway. Um, uh, what is the end of the show? So this, I talked about this. This is kind of that little, um, Trivia, every now and then I hear about these things, and I was like, this is the coolest coincidence ever. This is a story of a guy at the end of World War II, and listen to what this dude ended up doing. It's just kind of crazy, the coincidences in life that can happen to you. All right, everybody have a good weekend. Congratulations preemptively to Grayson. We will be there for your wedding. And we will see you next week, and obviously we'll talk about the wedding. But everybody have a good week. See you next week. Jim Twins. It's 1979 in Ohio, and a 39 year old man named Jim Lewis is about to phone a stranger who has the same first name the same life and the same face as him Jim Lewis was adopted as a baby and grew up knowing he had a twin brother out there somewhere separated from him about four weeks after birth and raised by a different family As an adult, he finally decides to track that brother down. He finds him living elsewhere in Ohio. The brother's name is Jim Springer, two identical twins, raised in completely separate homes, who never met, never spoke, never compared a single note about how to live a life. When researchers at the University of Minnesota get hold of their case, the list of overlaps reads less like genetics and more like a haunting. Both were named James by their adoptive parents with no coordination. Both went by Jim. Both grew up with an adopted brother. Both had a childhood dog named Toy. Both married a first wife named Linda. Both divorced her. Both then married a second wife named Betty. One named his son James Allen. The other named his son James Allen. Same name, one letter apart. Both worked in law enforcement as part-time deputy sheriffs. Both did woodworking in their spare time, building furniture and workshops in their garages. Both drove the same model of Chevrolet. Both vacationed at the same stretch of Florida Beach, driving there in those Chevrolet. Both chain-smoked the same brand of cigarette. Both bit their fingernails down. Both suffered from the same pattern of tension headaches that started in their late teens. None of this is arranged. Nobody is copying anybody. Two people who share the same DNA are dropped into different houses, different towns, different families. And they grow toward the same names, the same wives, the same dog, the same car, the same beach, like two seeds of the same plant putting out identical leaves. The case becomes one of the most famous in the history of twin research. The centerpiece of a long study into how much of who you are is written in you before you take your first breath. And the unsettling answer the Jim twins point at is a lot more than anyone wanted to admit. You like to think you chose your wife, your hobby, your car. Two men with the same code chose the same Linda, the same Betty, the same workshop, without ever meeting. It raises a question you cannot fully shake. How much of your life are you actually picking, and how much is just the seed unfolding the way it was always going to?
