Yeah, yeah, and it's gonna be for those people who are just wondering what's going on. He's like, we don't oftentimes when I read the news, like they scare you to death that you think the world's coming to an end and it's not. And then sometimes they try to fool you with the news and you find out that it's bad. So we're getting straight from the horse's mouth and exactly what's going on. One later in the program, I'll read to you what's on the ballot that we have to vote on April twenty first. Yeah, yeah, please explain that. Well, we will because we're going to use you as a guinea pig. Oh I read it to you. Yes, that's the way to do it. Oh, good idea. Yeah, I'm liking this. Guys were up to one hundred and twenty one subscribers. We were at one eighteen last week. Growing like a. Weed, more like a clover. We got two pedals out. Nobody likes clues. Not lucky yet. Everybody loves we Just kidding, Yeah. Exactly, your happy pillows. No, I'm just kidding, just nip. I'm just happy to be back at work. Everybody suns is warm, it's not freezing. I swear to God. I read where Tuesday is supposed to be a high thirty a low of twenty. Really, it's supposed to be freezing next to what will we doing? It's just to make you appreciate. Come to the beach with us. You can sleep on the balcony of this or the bathtub. I'll just sleep on the beach. Done that before? What? Yeah? Were you illegal. Some beaches? It is a. Vagrant like myrtle. You can't. It's like I don't want you. Were you wonder there living out there? Possibly someone said you're a bad influence me. To me, I am an influencer, but I won't say a good influencer. Everybody wants to be an influencer. Just for you. I'm gonna drink a margarita this weekend, Well, not drink, I'm gonna try one and get it. For that, And you started it with are you a bad influence? Just for you? Trent, I'm gonna drink a margarite. I'm gonna try one. I've never tried to margarita. Well, once you start, you'll never stop. Be careful. Tequila, what about a pina colada? There's a song. About tequila? What's song singing Kenny Chesney? No it's not Kenny Chenning. No, tequila makes her made her clothes fall off. Yeah, that's I was getting him. Confused with uh, forget one of the other little ones. The Kayla makes her clothes. I've never heard of that, this one. No, I mean, you didn't even type enough things in. I said, Tequila, I know how many songs? How many songs do. You think Tequila Qula makes her clothes fall off? It's literally a word. That's probably true. There you go, Nichols, that's it. Hell, I wouldn't guess that. Gave me a hundred, but only play a few because we don't get kicked off YouTube. Oh good grief, do you know that? What is? What is the deal with the commercials? Let's skip skip, I'm going with Maunds Great Margie Margarita started again. Don't have mercy? Where are you going to make sure clothes? God? Alright't not going to have them? Better stick to one. How much Mama Miller might not like this? Trip Miller not going? Okay, Father Day, Happy father Day? All right? Yeah, backwards and forts all right. Had a big weekend this weekend, you and your excuse me, me and your brother. Yes, we had to move some equipment. I really felt guilty, Not that I'm ever going to get on any of it and move any of it. Yeah, but I feel like I'm at least there for mortal support, and I wasn't there. For I was thankful, No, it was. It was a good trip. I enjoyed it. I think brother, you know, he wants to try to get a million things done in one day and me, I have gotten to the age now where you know if you if it works out, if it doesn't, Hey, I get to see the beautiful Highland County. One thing I like about this dynamic is my brother thinks one way and you think another way. And then both of y'all tell me how the weekend goes, and then I find out from Grays and how it went. Oh, I haven't talked to on you yet. Oh, but he listens to the show. Yeah, so, and he's the reason we got over five hundred thousand listens. Nice. He's the reason. Yeah, he's the one that sent I'm sorry, not the sole reason, but he sent the first clip. And then Emma, you're the reason. Both of you are the reason. So I really did. I enjoyed it because we were hoping to get all the equipment on one trailer. Didn't happen. We ended up making three trips. This would be from Covington. To see I think I could have helped if I would have come along, because I would have thought, well, if we bring multiple trucks, which I know you like to ride together, but if you bring multiple trucks, yes, then you have a chance of taking all. That well, you would have gotten it all on one trip. Yeah. Sure, you're a trailer plus the one to say it. Yeah, so, but listen, I enjoyed it because we chose different ways to go each time. So we got to see Homeste one time and go through there. We chose to go through Bakhova, which was interesting to me. Yeah, if you've ever gone through Bakhova. Okay, So one of them, and it might be the other one that you just mentioned. One of them looks like a little town, that is it. It's like a city made town, business made town. So I'm glad you said that. Yes, that is exactly what started. This is a saw mill and they literally built the whole village around the saw mill. All the houses are from the saw mill. They even built boardwalks to connect everything in the town. Back in this would have been the twenties. Yeah, right around the they even had their own currency. Wow. Yes, I mean it was its own deal. Yeah, Like you were there, you lived in a house that they provided, you shopped at the grocery store, okay, that they had like it was its own I think a mining towns were a lot like that. Back well, I was going to tell you what you remind me of. So when you go through a Big Island, believe it or not, Georgia Pacific and Big Island is part of that town was built for Big Island. Yeah wow, So what's interesting I mean for Georgia Pacific is in the late thirties, all of it crashed with the Great Depression. Yeah, and it wasn't to the fifties that a gentleman came along and bought it, literally that the whole place and started this company. And your uncle remembered like the company there and people that worked there. Yeah recent, Like I don't know when it shut down. But when you go through there now, it's it's like a snapshot of you know ago. You know what it reminds me of. Do you remember the movie Oh shoot, it just left me where the guy he like through the TV. He goes through the TV and he's back in the fifties. I don't know if it's mischief. Anyway, he goes back in the fifties and it's his parents. He's got to get him together. Is that back to back the future? Yeah, one, it's one like that, though it's not exactly the same, but it's just him walking through that little town. You know what I mean. It's like you're back in the fifties. Yeah, that's what that reminded me of when I drove through that cool little place. Yeah, so I was interested to see that. I think your brother could get a less No, he wouldn't give it. But for me, I'm just like, man, that's incredible to think. Yeah that that, you know, and each house is just unique, and yeah, it's a cool little place. And it's not like you would think. It's not a main street where you just drive straight through. Like it turns and goes through the neighborhood, okay, and then comes out on the other side. I have That's the way I went when I went. You see that route? Yeah so anyway, Yeah, that's neat. Enjoyed it got all the equipment to the river like we were supposed to. Uh, that was shock shock. I get everything under a barn or under roof that you needed. To, yeah, pretty much. Yeah, yeah, yep. So everything's there, so I'm sure it'll get utilized again. Uh. Sadly, Joe passed away, so that was his equipment. But it was nice of his son Devin to basically, I guess donate that or whatever you would call it, pass it down yeah to the river. Uh. He did call while we were there. Uh. And I don't know if you've ever spoken to him, it's been a while, but it was like talking to Joe. Oh yeah, every time I talked to him. I mean it was identical. And look, it was just perfect. So when we it was a little bit of a scare when we went back, the pontoon boat was gone. Oh yeah yeah, but. We were like, what happened to the boat? That's funny. The movie was called Pleasantville. Oh yeah, it's a great do remember that. Yeah, yep. So that was my weekend. Yeah, we went, Marty and I went to Ronoak Hotel. Yes, and so we stayed Friday and Saturday night and then enjoyed the downtown setting. And just to be real quick about it, it was cool. I mean, what's really nice? A The hotel was renovated itself again. So all the rooms are Hotel room up yes, yeah, Hotel Ronock yep, they're all all redone. And the bar down in that hotel bar, which I love a hotel bar. I don't like to have to go out somewhere, but I like to just hang out and just be able to go back up to my room if I need to want to. So that bar is really good. And the place was packed, and they were having a convention for football referees, so all the college football referees were there. Some you recognized, not that I could name their names, but they were recognizable. And then what I would say about downtown Ronoake. You know, I knew it from fifteen twenty twenty five years ago where it was corn Beef and the Metro and two twenty and it was like all these clubs, and it's like as we have gotten older, the downtown setting has gotten for the older because really nightclubs are gone. Now. Wow, now corn Beef may still be. We didn't go into Cornbeef, but another guy said he had gone the night before. But all those places have turned into restaurants and now there's a sky type restaurant that's downtown. Yeah, it's really nice. So it's kind of morphed into more of a family atmosphere, even though it's still people drinking and all that stuff. But it's not the nightclub experience that it. Yeah, I guess, I mean you think about it. I don't even know where is there at nightclub anymore? Yeah, we talked about it last week, right, and all the ones in Lynchboroth we used to know and you wouldn't even know where to go to get one Now I don't know. Yeah, that's great except your house. Actually we're coming over. What'd you do? I went to a Liberty basketball game. Yeah, they're on a road another they lost again. Well, like they lost like three in a row, and are we talking about women or men? Men? They finally won Saturday, and then their first game of the tournament is today. Okay, I didn't know that. I did not know that either, because there they were first. They got a first round by which is yesterday, and then today conference. I think they'll lose in the next round. Well, they got they got Missouri State, let's not. Yeah, but then tomorrow they play FIU and we only beat them by one. The last time we played that doesn't FIU have to play some Monday first. Yeah, but they'll beat them. Tournaments are tournaments for a reason. Apparently you don't know, pondering. Well, maybe you shouldn't go so they would have a chance to win. Kind of interesting the way there's a tournament at least on ESPN here. They got two games today on Wednesday only mm hmm, and then two games tomorrow and FIU is not listed as in either day they played yesterday. Oh no, if I you lost to Missouri State, they did, I'm glad i'm here. I didn't actually watch it. Missouri State, Missouri State. Missouri State is at Liberty tonight at six point thirty and Missouri State is fifteen and seventeen. Let's not get too worried. But they did beat FIU, right, they beat for you, which is so side. Did you even go to the Liberty game on Saturday? Well, they're playing at Alabama, They're playing in Bama or whatever. Okay, all right, this weekend? Yes, what am I doing this weekend? You said you got electrical work at memmis. Yeah, I'm going to go to Memos and she's got I don't know what it is, but she's got outlets that she once replaced. I'm going to replace all of her outlets and switches. Just like change the color from like almond to white. He just wants new receptacles. Since she's had them for a while. She wants a new house. Said, okay, yeah, I've done it in my house. They do go bad. Yeah, we just I've never heard of this before in my life. Yeah, I've never had a receptacle go bad in the house. I love it, granted, very very good point the most ever seven months, seven years, seven months. I was like, oh, he'll be all right. What do you got. Uh crack coping a beers. She's ready to vacation. Uh this weekend we're having the Caesar's Danville. Oh that's right. So I leaned on my friend Jeff to ask him how he also bets Okay, and he said, similarly to what you said, that he dabbles a little bit at the table, and then he goes to the bar and he watches games, and then he'll circle back around and he'll dabble a little bit more. And yeah, and he does you know, he does do blackjack because of all the pressure of people around. Yes, he would rather just do the roulettes like you said, and just those little video things. So I love that they brought that into the fold. Cayah, that is now listen, I'm not I mean I can sit on my computer and did a little video thing, right, But it's different there because there is an actual thing in the middle that is spinning. Yeah. So it's not like a video game where you just okay, you're still part. Of so there is some entertainment. Yeah, yeah, it's yeah, because I don't want people to think that you know, this is a screen and it's just you're just you know, yeah, there is an actual physical. So other than with you that time last year, which was this about that time last year when we went to West Virginia, what were we watching on the screens? Was college basketball? Yeah? When did we go? No, we ended up watching horse racing and betting. Yeah. Remember I'm sure I'll do some of that too. That was fun. Yeah, and then you know, I got fanduels so I can bet on the things that were. So you have a card, I wonder if you could use my card. I don't know what you're asking. So when you get there, the there's a Caesar card you can get okay, and it's it doesn't give you anything. You don't get anything. It's just give me your card. Yeah. When you insert it in the machine, you get points and eventually you get free stuff from it. Okay, but you could sign up and get your own card. But I'm saying if you want my card, I just don't know. Don't worry about it. I don't want to. I don't know. It's just I'm also with Warren and Rob and Scott and so there will be some gambling, but there's gonna be a lot of Yeah, beverages. Okay, do you have a D D tequila mix? Yeah? I know, but then you. Yeah, you know. Well, Uber, No, we're not staying at the see, we're not staying there. Uh where are you going? It's about ten minute, Uber ride wrangler. Someone needs stuff where you stay? Honestly, I don't know, Red Rufe, I'll look before I go. No, Warren booked it, so we're just hanging together. So nice, Ye, it'll be fun, be fun. Shout out to Ribe for organizing that. He listened to our show and m Florida. You're heading to Florida and y'all are driving? Yeah, two days? Nice? Hi Jack, and Caitlin, So now she's going to drive. So I'll give you a little bit of history quickly of Logan played in a basketball tournament there when he was a sophomore and no junior and senior, I think it was it might have been sophomore junior. Anyway, they played in a basketball tournament in uh Fort what's it? Fort Walton Beach? Yeah, which is where you're at destined. And after the tournament was over with, coach Dunton just decided, you know, let's not stay out of the night, let's just drive home. Oh wow, Uh yeah, I was tired. They had a tour bus. So they get to sleep rest. It's twelve hours. But I'm a parent. Yeah. How many parents did you do you think went? I think we were the only ones. Yeah, and we But I will say this, listen, I don't think people understand what that means to people. That was the first time probably half of that basketball team had ever been out of Bedford. Yeah, I mean out of Bedford. I'm not talking about I mean these kids had never been to a beach, never been to a yeah, nothing, and it was a great experience for them, and some of them still talk about it. Today about how it's just different. Seeing this is why we're taking two days straight back and you're going to get your sister, get sister, and then going down. I remember hitting Danville and I pulled over and Ashley said you all right? I said, no, you got to drive the rest. I cannot make it. You run out of steam. I did, and I ran out of steam because my daughter decided she was not going to sleep, not once all the way home. In course, she was probably three at the time. Oh man, it's funny you said this. Have at it today. I have a little thing with a little girl, and dude, it'll it's just gonna make you just oh, it's great. So anyway, I'm never coming back. Yes, well that sucks, whatodie? All right? The next day in history? This day in history? So this day in history? Cut one? Oh am, I not ready? No, I am, okay, that's why you're not coming back. What in the hell? All right, that's good? All right? This day in history eighteen sixty one. Okay, can you believe it that the Confederate States adopted their own constitution? Wow, on this day in history. And I just played that music because yeah, that was their. Patriotic yeah, So I don't think. I don't you can attest to this. I don't think their history classes teach because they want to make it all race. But I just the facts are the facts, and I'm not making it a race thing. The facts are the facts that I don't think they teach that the South was a separate entity. It wasn't going to be a separate entity. It was, and it had its own president and its own vice president. Did you know this, Simma, Yeah, the Confederacy. Oh yeah. I mean a lot of people don't know. I don't know if they teach it. They just think it was a civil war and they were trying to split off. It had its own currency, it was its own deal, and it had its own constitution. I often wonder if somehow, some way, let's say Abraham Lincoln hadn't have been so bold. Let's say Abraham Lincoln had been Kamala and the only way they were going to get out of this war was to negotiate a treaty with a wall between the two. Oh my god. Okay, so let's say that that had happened, Because I'm sure there were a lot of people thinking, well, this is way too many people dying. We have to we have to end this war, right, and let's make the Mason Dixon line the line. What do you think, just in your crystal ball of historical crystal ball, what do you think would have happened? How do you think this would have resulted? What do you think this? I think eventually the same thing, similar to Russia, the wall would have come down. And we think so, yeah, because Mexico and the US have never done it. That's true, right, And so what if we had been a country, what if we would have been so progressive, we would have been racing to the west coast, you know what I mean, we would have two countries in between Canada and New Mexico, Mexico. If you look at it now, your most successful states are probably When I say successful, I mean business ran, I mean everything. I think if you look at the federal incomes. The Yankees always say that they carry us because taxes flow from the Blues in the north to the south. That's just what they say. But you know, back in the day, it was harbors and cotton and stuff like that, and you know the North needed it. So I just wondered how it would have evolved. Would there have been another war of fifty years from then, and would we have had another one after that, you know what I mean, until we finally became the United States. I think it would have been more interesting to see exactly where the line was drawn, Yeah, because that was that was part of the issue back then, was you know, how do you determine like people look at Lee? Yeah, you know, as a terrible person nowadays for some reason. Yeah, if they knew anything about Lee. He was a general in a United States Army, right, and lived in northern Virginia. But it was Virginia was his home. Yeah, and so you had to choose sides. I say, we could have given him Maryland. We'll just give him Maryland. Oh, yes, definitely, just do that, and then northern Virginia. Let's do that. We'd have been okay, the South. I wish I wish today that DC would expand to take in Fairfax. Yeah, how awesome would that be? Yeah? All right? Yes, Oh my history, this day in history, the great blizzard that killed over four hundred people. It wasn't nineteen ninety eight, it wasn't twenty twenty eight. With climate change, all the problems that we have with climate change, this was eighteen eighty eight. Wow, the snow and it was interesting to me. I thought it would have been bigger snow than this. The snow was. It was from Chesapeake Bay to Maine. Killed four hundred people. Over one hundred of them were on ships. They were like stuck. Yeah, and then I guess the weather. Whatever happened? Lord, Yeah, they were the most quarter of those people died on ships. So Chesapeake to Main ten inches to fifty eight inches. But what happened was the snow dress and the snow dress were higher than fifty feet unbelievable. Yeah, wow, yep, never heard of it. I guess I guess back then though, I mean, so I do think we take this for granted, like we Emma's going to get in her car and drive home. Yeah, but if back then eighteen eighty one, that that would have been a day's journey. It's funny you mentioned that. So Clay Travis just discussed on one of his little clips on his on their show Bucking Clay Clay and Buck whatever. They He said that he would have been in the camp. So today he's in the camp. The things autonomous vehicles in the next twenty years will be what we all drive. We won't be driving anymore. And all of you that are out there saying you're not getting rid of your steering wheel, you know, the ability to drive yourself. You're the people that were in the horses and the buggies when they brought this car out that had four wheels and a little motor that banged, and you said that'll never take over. Sure. Yeah, so you could be onto something. Yeah. Oh so I got money on Tesla for sure. Yep. All right, moving on drama, don't don't? All right? Yeah? Uh? Drive to Survive highlights? Yes? Which episode? Will we two? I finished it? Oh you're done? I couldn't help. So we get to talk about it. Yeah, one hundred percent. I'm excited about that because I want your opinion on things. Okay, So, how did you think they handled the Christian Horner thing? Exactly like you said, handled it with respect? I thought so too. Yeah. How cool? Did you think the text was from Toto? Yes? So that's that was one of the things that my little notes that I have here from Job to Survive. My opinion of Zach Brown went down. My opinion of Signs. Yes, what's his first name? Carlos Carlos. I keep thinking of his cousin, is Carlos cousin carl That signs my opinion him went down, My opinion of Toto went up, and my opinion of Christian Horner went up. Through that whole thing. Completely agree with all of that. Yeah, Zach, I remember earlier episodes where Zach was about to lose his job and literally was saying, if I don't get things turned around, I'm out. Like he knew he was on the way out. He was sweating, and to his credit, has built an unbelievable team. Yeah, two years in a row winning the Constructors Championship. With that being said, what an ass. Complete ass. You know what he reminds me of. He reminds me of that coworker that is odd. Yes, and he makes jokes, thinks he's cool. It thinks he's cool, but makes jokes that everybody's on edge. And but because Zach is so rich and he's the man, people laugh. I'm like, that wasn't funny at all. That was just an a whole thing to say, which I know I. Do that no real humor joke, joke jokes, right, Okay, when he brought him out like to me why I didn't. I didn't get that whole part. I kind of forgot about this. The tennis. His tennis partner, okay, was Joki or Djokovic Djokovic okay, Yeah, and he's like, I got a great teacher. And then he interested in and I'm like, oh, you're just name dropping right right? Yeah, I mean he would, and he did a thing where I go ahead. The key was I I lost a lot of respect for Zach. But the ending is when I was like you when he got caught by the Netflix cameras. I don't remember this either. Cheating in Vegas. Okay, yeah, the paper thin that you mentioned. Yes, but but he said did they even check that? And the guy goes Netflix cameras out? Okay? And because like what got me was I remember that incident happening, and I remember them saying this was not cheating. This was just the car over the time. It just lowered enough to where it cost us. But then I watched the Netflix and I'm like, of course you were cheating, like you knew you had gotten caught, and then the cameras caught you saying something. Man, I swear I thought that part had to do with Christian Horner that they didn't want to talk about that, but okay, I don't remember. This was this was Vegas where I don't know, like I had texted you five races to go that I think Max has a shot and you're like, oh my god, would you stop, like they're just trying to right, Yeah, I'm like, no, I think he does. And then everything started changing and then Vegas is what took it over the top because Max still had no chance. But then that happened and it's like, why would you do that? Both of them got disqualified. Hey, the very end, they showed the Stroll guy and he said, we'll be dominant this next year. Yes, in two years, will be dominant. They've got a Ninjain or whatever. I don't remember them showing that team at all during the whole drive to survive. I don't think they did. I miss that. So I think Ashton Martin took a year off. And when I say that, it's from Netflix, no from just doing anything, like they were focusing everything on this year next year, and I think if you can remember, has did that one time and they just said we're not going to be good this year, and you're like, how did. I mean, yeah, how do you just say we're gonna suck this year? But apparently they know, like and apparently that's what it was. But they knew they were switching to a different engine. So I think the Aston Martin is running Ferrari now okay, and that's why they were excited, gotcha? So I just thought, damn, I must have missed something. I don't remember seeing them at all. And then he said we're gonna be great next year, and I was like, oh, wi'll be interesting. And what's funny about that is? So does what's this driver that we like? Soil alonto? Yes, he has seemed so upbeat about it, so they must know something because they weren't very good in Australia. I didn't think so either. And he didn't even try to practice because he said the car was vibrating so bad wow, that it literally was making their hands numb. I did see the results that kind of like the car tomorrow when it came out and the drivers hated it. That The feedback was it was not a very good car. So do you understand why they've gone green? Even? Wow? Okay, okay, So now it's fifty to fifty battery. To really so that I did more of the electric. Yes, so here's the problem when you now so before you remember, they would go through the turns and they would harvest their battery because they were slower in the turns. Well, that would keep the battery at full charge by doing that. Well, now since it's fifty to fifty, like they're losing charge halfway down a straightaway now nice, and so their cars are going slower and they're just like, like, I think it was Hamilton that said, you can't even if you'll notice this year they were swerving back and forth trying to warm their tires up. You never saw that, Huh. It's because they can't use their battery on their warm up lap to scuff tires because they have to save every ounce to be able to make it through a lab. App it's just dumb, just like you're ruining your sport. Yeah. Well, first of all, and then they left ESPN it. I didn't watch it this weekend because Marty told me we have Apple. But it's not like on my rotation. Oh it's terrible. I'm telling you, you're not gonna like it. It's like the color is off, dude, it's not vibrant. I mean it's not it's not even it looks fake. I can't wait till you see it so you can go, what are they doing? Well, I have to look at that. I'll watch that so. Like it's still like you could. They're coverage, they have a lot more, but it's not good. I don't think. I was not impressed. I don't like change. I don't either, and I'm starting to think the CEO of NASCAR went over to F one. Yeah but anyway, all right, uh, where are we at? Oh? I did Lincoln law Year. I'm not done with it, so don't tell me. Oh yeah, listen, that's a show. I think that they could easily it on CBS or NBC. Lincoln Lawyer. Yeah, that's what I thought it was made for. I thought it was one of those made for TV shows. That's what it looks like. Just yea yeah, and you're one thousand percent right. That actor is just wrong. Yeah, he and Cisco, Well. That's who I was talking about. And Lawyer with the lawyer really is something about something, but the Cisco's yeah, one thousand percent wrong. But when you go from Matthew McConaughey, and that's your Lincoln lawyer to this guy is not Matthew mcconniey. Yeah, that's true. Yeah. Yeah. And then of course I finished Night Agent, which was amazing. Yes, and I got so one thousand percent fooled because when I googled Night Agent, it came up with the writer and it said Sean Ryan. So I'm like, oh my god, I did the same thing, but it's not the it's different. And I was like, dang. I thought this was, you know, straight from the horses mouth. But I was going to ask you, I'll put the note here and I can't. That's almost like I have to ask you the downtown Rowan Oak experience. Would you ask your realtor ever to find you a place downtown? Could you live in a downtown environment? I do, but I know efort it is not I live in a thriving downtown. Uh yeah I could. I don't think it would be in my top five choices. I mean, I would live in the country before I would go. That's a good question. Would you live in a downtown rowing Oak or Lynchburg or would you live in on the river River? Oh, I definitely really do give me some goats. No, but oh Listen, there are challenges to that because you don't have a store. There's nowhere to go. Yeah, and there's you know, even to get gas. You gotta drive twenty minutes hospital. Yeah, I mean toothache. Well gosh, well I'm just saying. If I'm to the hospital, so yeah, I see her, but I don't know. Yeah, I think it would be Yeah, I mean I could if I was single. Yeah, I mean I would do like a I always thought about that, Like those upstairs are nice note not some you know, brothel looking thing. I mean I would definitely do like a man if they had like a condo and a high rise. Yeah, I do that in a heartbeat. Yeah, that would be awesome. So yeah, okay, I did drive to survive. That was my job. Oh cool, So we already did that. Yep. All right, Sports onto sports, It's time for sports. All right F one You Sports kicked off F one this weekend. Australia was the first F one race. George Russell Mercedes looked dominant. I think there are a few highlights to the weekend. Max for Staffing wrecked in the first qualifying lap. Sorry, and if you don't know, that was another battery issue. It basically locked up the rear axle. Oh good grief. So and others had that issue too. So remember I told you the car had changed, and you said, well, they do that every so often. They hadn't done this since twenty fourteen, every car changed, and so nobody knew going into this weekend what was going to happen. The last time they did this type of change in twenty fourteen, I think they said they finished with ten cars like it was miserable. This time. I don't think they had quite the attrition, but it was bad. I mean there were cars, For instance, McLaren went out and they couldn't even do a lap before their engine expired, and it was like, oh, but they ended up getting that stuff fixed. But still piastre wrecked in the warm. Up lap so he spun out right. Yeah, so some odd stuff, but all in all, I thought it was neat that Max came from the rear of the field and finished sixth. His car was flying, and his teammate finally, I think he might have the teammate hejar. He qualified third, but he did end up finishing twentieth, but I think he was involved in an accident. So back to the driver survived. Yeah, I think Horner is still there. If the year before when he fired Checko that he would have gotten signs. Yes, they're inexperience at the number two CarH is what got him fired more than anything else. Yeah, for sure. But I think Jar is that guy for sure. Now this new kid that's on the block, this Lynn Lynn Bled or whatever from Great Britain keeping eye on him. The signs thing. I went back to read his signs ever raced for Red Bull he did. He and for Staffing were teammates on the old F three series, like as I say, we're coming up, and for Staffing hated signs. So that is probably why they never tried to go after him, because for Staffing is so strong, you know, and he didn't want signs again, and now when when I say I don't like signs, he bitches about everything and wines God. So if he's on a team that he thinks for Staffing is getting everything moving up, I'm sure that did irritate for Staffing. I would have told him to get lost to all right. This week church they are in China, China, China, So there again. If Emma probably doesn't know this, but some of your F one drivers are all about woke. Yeah, but yet they'll go to China exactly right. But Saudi ye a damn it? Yeah, how dare they? But we'll race. We'll race there too. Yeah, when you go to a race, Oh, F one would be great for it. Yeah. F one is phenomenal. I'd love to see it just once. Yeah, unbelievable. I would. I think i'd choose Miami, all right, Yes. I did Vegas. Sorry you got me home from that Vegas? Yeah, I do that one too. I'm saying other two. I don't think I would go to a CODA, but I think I would definitely do hit Miami and then Vegas. Although I think if you ask, the driver's code is probably their favorite. Really, I think they love the speed there. The other two. Vegas is just tough. I think I would like that atmosphere of Miami. Yeah, okay, all right, basketball, Yes, March madness is upon us. Here we go. ACC tournament is up next. Yeah, so a little later on we'll do our top or air Mount reffore. Yes, and it's a CC bassall program. Yeah, and everybody I tell it, they asked me, are you saying now or no? It's like history, the acy program. Everybody knows who the real aces is. Yes, and just as an update for those of you that don't know, n C State won today, so they will move through and play Virginia tomorrow at noon on Thursday, which historically used to be the kickoff of the ACC tournament was Thursday at noon. Yeah, and now they don't even play on Sunday. They'll be done Saturday. I don't know why they did that. I'm kind of rude. Why do they did on Saturday? Yeah, they didn't want to be the last team because if you remember, the ACC was always the last. Team selections day Sunday. Yeah, so they moved it up a day because they didn't want to do that. Okay, I'm kind of hoping for NC State to win, not because I hate Virginia. Yeah, but right now I think Joe Lenardi has NC State as the first four out. Okay, Well maybe that win today put him back. In hopefully, Yeah, hope. So it's going to be a good tournament. I mean everybody, I think everybody thinks Duke is here. But Duke's got some injuries now, so we're gonna find out they're losing the big man in their point guard they don't have or they still got Boozer. Oh, okay, that they don't have a gamba who was their sinner? Yeah? So and Gomba goodbye. Yeah, it's still duke by twenty. Who's gonna beat him? Virginia. Virginia got handled by him last time, but they were full strengthen. Okayude, you look, they did lose. Their point guard, Bozer Caleb Foster. Okay, when did he go against the U n C broke his ankle something four weeks ago? No, this past weekend they played this. Oh that's right, Sessues. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm sorry. They just got crushed. They just crushed. Wait a minute, when did he get hurt? First half? Okay, they'd beat you and see about fifteen. I think they have someone on the bench that they could bring in. Stop coming up, all right, Lou Holtz is at the end of this show. This is a tribute to Lou Holtz. You're you're Lou Holtzing yourself, right, Cayden Boozer. Gotta be careful, Navy other son. Right. Oh, anyway, yes, I'm looking forward to it. I love the a SEC tournament. And you know now that your kid my kid all went to an SEC school. I love the SEC tournament. Yeah, well it's actually better basketball than the a SEC. Yeah, the last couple of years before you leave basketball, Can we talk just a second. I didn't write it on your sure, but I thought about it on the way down here. We should talk about it. The eighty three that Bam scored, Oh my god. I mean they literally have him holding a paper sign of eighty three right, like he's Wilt Chamberlain. Come on, Okay. So for those that don't know and they just see that a Gays score eighty three, if you would have told me eighty three was by the guy that I hate, Luca, or eighty three was by Steph, I'd be like, oh man, right, Bam Right. So I looked to see what what did he do? Okay? Forty three free throws? Yeah, it's ridiculous. He missed seven. So let's say he shoots a hundred percent. Okay, that puts him at ninety because he scored eighty three, right, and he makes seven, war, he's gonna be at ninety. He shot twenty two to three pointers. He's a big man. He only made seven. All he has to do is make his free throws play. Well, he actually had a few assists too. But what I'm saying is all he had to do, like we always think, we always think one hundred is unachievable. All he had to do was hit half his threes that he missed, and he would have eclipsed Wilt good Lord. But this' bam, that doesn't seem right, Bam. How to buy you? Yeah, you didn't get my Joe class night. Huh Huh? What did I say? Uh? I can't remember that. Okay, I'll look at though. I'm sure it went right past me. Bam. Yep, all right, yes that was what your head that is? I mean, I I made a brief No, I know it's good, okay. Uh. Yeah. When I saw your text last night, I was like, what is he talking about? Yeah, bam, But all right onto World Baseball Class. You wrote I don't buy it, Bam. Out of bio you wrote, I don't buy it. I did not get but now I do. All right, World Baseball Classic. I cannot believe this. I read this. Have you been watching the World Baseball Classic? Has it been great? Or? What? What was on last night in Mexico? First of all, I watched USA Mexico, and I was it was an instant classic. Paul Skins was phenomenal, dude. In the stars it was. There is a shortstop Bobby Witt Junior, I think it's his name. Unbelievable, dude. He takes you back to the old Oh gosh, the shortstop again, Izzy know, Ozzie Smith. Just unbelievable. Everything about it was great. And you you had, uh the coach being interviewed from Mexico, Mexico talking crap, you know about Hey, we'll we'll meet each other in the finals, you know, blah blah blah, all this stuff. Right, Yeah, great game ends up USA winning eight to six. I think, well, USA, it was three and oh at the time, Mexico dropped to two and one, and Italy was this team out there that was two and oh. And I'm thinking, all right, we'll get past Italy Mexico, you know, and then we'll get a rematch in the finals. Wrong thing got housed. Italy comes out and punches them in the mouth. Now here's what I don't understand, Trent. How do they get to play for Italy? No, why are we in a different lineup? I mean, why do we put somebody else out there. Yes, huh, I don't know what channel is this World Baseball Classic on. I've been watching it on Fox. I think I don't know it's on YouTube, GV somewhere. I was just trying to find the scores. So this is what is so frustrating to me about ESPN. And obviously people are going to hear this and go, well, yeah, no shit, But to me, ESPN should be about sports, not who is covering the sports correct. So what happens is they'll drop World Baseball Classic down to the bottom of their feet because it's on Fox, because it's on some other channel, and they'll give credit to the channel of what it is. But you have to keep scrolling to find it. And I can't even find it right now. I was trying to see what channel was on. So last night I looked. And the reason I asked you about Italy. Did you know that all nine starters were from America, were born in America? Yeah, about to say who plays for it was all they weren't Italian. I mean, I guess maybe they're Italian citizens. Possibly. I had no idea how you get to Italy. But every single starter, all nine, were born in the United States. So you said that that means we're out because we lost one. No, we have a real possibility. Of not being in, like if we lose again. No, we're done with pool play. Oh no, we are three and one okay, Okay, we lost to Italy last night. Italy currently is three and oh Okay. They played Mexico tonight, Mexical. If Mexico wins, America, Italy and Mexico are all three and one. Okay. The tiebreaker is the most runs in the game that you matched up with those teams. Okay, the two games combined. Correct. Oh no, and we've given up eight and five, and so. It's the amount you gave up, correct, Okay, not the mount you scored. So if Mexico wins tonight, you want them to win big or else we're in trouble. Okay. So that's where we want Mexico to win big. Or we want Italy to win, because if Italy wins, then Mexico has two losses. Okay, we automatically go. So we really want Italy to win. Yes, that makes it easy. Okay. So if Mexico wins, we just hope it's by big. Yes, because I do would I would love to see the rematch of them two. Yeah, in Miami, And. I Am'm paying attention to you, by the way, but I'm looking over here because I'm getting infuriated. They don't even show the World Baseball Classic on ESPN. My feed is not showing it at all. It's awful. They're showing me the Major League Baseball Spring training games, oh my god, but they're not showing me the World Baseball Classic. Do they show it as WBC, Well, yes they would, but I mean usually you'll get at least the two teams that are playing today. Oh, they don't even have it in the scores. No, I don't. I don't don't. I don't see it under I'm under home. So but I couldn't find it anywhere I see it. There's the World Bass. You got it on your feed? Yeah, well, I'm telling you, I've scrolled through this whole thing. Scores. Oh you went to scores. I'm talking about home. Where you get the highlights? Oh no, the headlines. The headlines aren't. It's not. It's nowhere listed. There right now. Canada and Cuba. Who would you think would be winning that? Cuba? Canada is winning sixty two? Wow? Italy and Mexico at seven and Dominican and Venezuela. That's going to be a hell of a game anyway. Yeah, Japan has already moved through chaps. Who would be their star? Hi? Dekia Nomo no old? What's the guy with tiny? Yeah? So Khani is their star? Gotcha? Which I found it funny that this weekend at the River, the Otani hits a home run and they talked about Japan winning and your uncle goes. Yeah, he's all over it. I know, but he says, I said, man, he's probably the greatest in my lifetime to ever play the game. And he went except for he never shows up in the big time. And I was like, how what person somebody think? I mean, because you just won a World Series. He's not watching ESPN the way we do. He's only watching a television broadcast of a game, so he probably hears different things. Yeah right, yeah, and so he's probably only seen O Tommy during the World Series. And if he didn't hit home runs the way he did all year, then he's like, yeah, he didn't show up during the big game. And I'm like, Ohtani, Yeah, that dude's amazing. Didn't he have like a crazy one of those games. For four and one of the playoff games. Three home runs and nine strikeouts or something. All right, Yes, moving on NASCAR, Yeah, all right, NASCAR was in Phoenix. Ryan Blaney was your winner and taking it. You had Ryan Blaney in your pool. I did one sixty books, sixty books from this week. They're in Vegas. Yeah. Uh, we'll picks coming up later. Yep, with Carolina Kevin. I've updated the scores, all. Right, anything else for sports? I got my words in Emma. No, no more Olympics. What's happening? No more Olympics, No more curling, No more curling, there's Paralympics. Move it on, what's happened? It's time for news. So for those of you who are waiting on the edge of your seat for lame augus acting media entertainment, lamestream media headlines, I thought I would move it under what's happening, since that's news anyway. Okay, all right, So ABC News headline, all right, inflation held steady in February before war with Iran, since gas prices surging. Now. NBC News their headline was Inflation held steady in February before war with Iran drove up gas prices. I'll be darn. I literally had to Google to see if it was the same writer and it was not. Huh, but I guess that's the news. So yeah, that's the news, you know, when I'm trying to watch anything about Iran. I watched the Sky News that I talk about, yeah and so, but I couldn't stomach it because they have they always have two guests on there, and there's one guy that is such a Trump hater. He literally said that the only reason Trump said that this war was going to be over is because the pressure of the gas prices, yes, and that he blinked. It was like he wanted to say that Iran had a hand up on Trump. Come on, you're totally just making up stuff. Yep. I think they all are, like they yes, because I heard the same thing with an American network claiming, oh my god, he's watching the stock market and he sees what's going on, so he's his foreign policy. Yeah, is based off of air gas prices in the stock market. That's right. So same channel has an expert and the guy is on there and says, we have studied the numbers and if the Iranian war only escalates, as it has been. Our inflation in the UK will go from two percent of what we forecasted to up to three percent is what it will be. And then they came back to the anchor lady after they played the clip, and she goes, how are we going to survive? That's what she says. And the other two now is two ladies up there. They're like they have to understand that prices, when prices go up like this, this impacts if you can pay your heating bills. And I went yelling at the TV. We just lived through twenty one percent inflation and you guys are now acting like it's the worst thing ever. You never brought up the inflation when it was Biden in the middle. Let me ask you a question. Acts it away. Did we go to war with Iraq? We did? What was the inflation? I don't know exactly right. When did all of a sudden wars affect inflation? Yeah, it's the. Whole gas price thing. Yeah, I mean what's funny is they never really mentioned that when he cut off the gas prices. If you remember when gas prices and inflation started to rise, Yeah, it was Biden that blamed the war in Ukraine that had nothing to do with us. Yeah, so it's their way of just blaming everything. Well, he used the war because he had cut off the pipeline, and then he used the OAR reserves and drained those to try to keep It's like you have to try to remember how they did these things, and none of you are remembering any of what you used to say. That's true. So when did Trump go over to Saudi Arabia and beg them to give us more oil so we could cheaper gas? Yeah? I remember seeing that. I don't think i've seen that either. Or bow in front of them and apologize for everything we've ever done, or send cash. That's right, yep, all right, so uh CBS news headline, Okay, Iran war brings new attacks on commercial ships. Do Bay Airport in Tehran? Warren's banks are next? Okay? I mean there's commercial ships have sunk. Do you know none that I know. They're just they're praying one happens. They're praying that it happens, you know what I mean. I know we have sank a lot of their ships. Oh yeah, I love Oh Trump can't do anything wrong. I mean, in my opinion, it doesn't matter. But when he gets up there and he says, Iran's doing well, they're doing well. They've lost all their navy and they've lost all their air force and all their generals and leaders are gone, but other than that, they're doing really well. It's crazy, all right. That is your legacy media headlines brought to you by. It Stay far Neat Insurance in Bedford and David Honiker, State Farm Agent. Lug is like, you need to go get diesel. I was like, not at this price. Hun, It'll come down in the next couple of days. So but anyway, I love this guy. So see there is a little bit of cussing in this, but this is one of my favorite guys. All right, cut two, say Trump. You need to go on ahead and wrap this wash it up. You got me falling off with my people. I go up in my favorite a ramstove. You know, normally when they see me, they right up right there. We set the video, you know, I go up in there a few minutes ago. I'm like, brother, brother, he. I'm like, damn the. Fuck I did. I ain't got shit to do with that. Then my cousin he mad, he need a ride. Cut twenty dollars, don't do nothing, no more come that bits, don't move the gas, need to cut hunders taking sixty dours like I'm not moving for. No twenty cut gases three dollars, going on four dollar. I can't do it. That's good. Come with the fuddy, all right. So before you get rid of that, Emma, is this screen back to the days of where We've got me Brian and the screen up because I want you to look at this. Is this not the black Brian. He's got the LSU on the little beard. That was it when he was talking. All I can think about that's Brian. He cracks me up so much because he is a massive LSU fad. Yeah, but he'll give you his raw opinion if they lose. Oh dude, he is so mad he'll take his shirt off and throw it. I'm done with that Lisu anyway. Yeah, I just listen. Gas prices are high right now, and there's nothing wrong with just hold on. I'm agreeing with you. Here's what I told everybody. When Memorial Day comes and if we're paying a dollar ninety nine for gas, I don't you better be out here on Facebook saying thank you? Yeah, because that very well could happen. So let me ask you this. They're all concerned that Iran has shut down the Straits of Horror moves. Correct, Okay, really it's shut down because apparently Lloyd's of London will not ensure the ships that come through. Okay, so the ships won't go through. So that's when Trump has said, well, we'll ensure you and we'll escort you, right, so we're going to do that ourselves. We don't need England kind of a thing. All right. If all that is true, If the regime in Iran next week and we hadn't done anything and they have all those missiles pointed at a horror moves and to stop it, they could have stopped it. Sure, you know what I mean. Yes, change the leadership and we won't have this worry anymore. Gosh, I don't know why people just can't get that. I'm just and like Trump, I'm tired of listening to these guys. For forty seven years, people have been talking about doing something. He's finally doing it. Yep, yep, all right, yes. Oh I do think Memorial Day is the key. Okay, gotta get it down before Memorial Day. All right. It just people don't People complain, But when they go and start to go on vacation, that's when they go, hey, wait a minute, yeah, that's same thing they did with Biden. They didn't care until it started. Yeah, you know, then all of a sudden it was does. Everybody just hold on? Let the man do what he's doing. He's been right on everything so far. Meanwhile, Republicans continued to do nothing. Oh gosh, man, dude, I am so frustrated right now. Yeah, who was the guy a Thoon that replaced Miconas When that happened, I remember thinking, oh, why did we do that? I dude, I don't get it. And he's one of the problems because yeah, on the house side, I got more Epstein hearings and who cares at this point? Yeah? And then Tom Cotton, Wait. A minute about the Epstein thing. How can the FBI tell us that the lady that was one of the security guards who ended up getting let go ended up getting five thousand dollars and then eight thousand dollars a month and a week before the murder. Yes, it was on Megan Kelly yesterday. Oh I didn't see this. Yes. So the woman that's now no longer a security guard, but she was at that time a month before and two months before got sums of eight thousand and five thousand dollars deposited to her account. At the jail. At the jail, the lady that's the security guard that's there that Epstein got killed on. Oh, I've told you something. Once I found out he was an intelligence agent. Yeah, he didn't kill himself. Well, there's a lot of petties out there that had some power that oneted him. Did is he dead? There was a lot of comments that asked if he was dead or they don't think he is dead. Yeah, that's shocking to me. So anyway, all right, so here's what I do. Like you got Tom Cotton on the Senate side, Yeah, talking about reserves and doing investigations and all that crap. Yeah, just here's what. I want done. How about passing laws? I want funding for the DHS. Yes, and stop all the bs with stop allowing a Democrat to go. We don't want ice, so we're gonna stop the funding. You know what. Put them on every billboard, make them look like a bunch of idiots. Dude, I'm and more and more and more and more wondering why do we have a filibuster? Well, I've told you that. No, no, I know you say it, but you're not the founding fathers. I know that the Founding Fathers didn't have it. And guess what, fifty one? Make it fifty one. They're just trying to hide themselves of being able to make hard decisions because oh we can't get to sixty. Shut up and vote and If you don't like it, we'll vote you out. I'm just man get rid of this filibuster thing. Can't stand it. I know, but it takes you when you're not in power. You know. And it comes around with Woodrow Wilson nineteen twenty. You know that wasn't the founding fathers. You want to make a rule, Make a rule that you can't talk for more than twenty five minutes. That's a rule. Then you can't filibuster. Then make the vote. I got it solved, just like that. Yep. Okay, yep. I want Dan Mullins approved for the Department of Homeland Security. Yeah, let's not take two years to do that. Or how long does it take to replace him as a Senator? Does he get to still vote as a Senator until he gets replaced. That's a good question. Yep. Codify the tariffs. We saw they worked. Yes, here's what happens though, correct, Well, that's going to hurt the people in my area, the farmers that are in my area. I can't vote for that, even though they were working. Correct. Pass the Save Act. Seems like it'd be the easiest thing to pass exactly. Yeah. Anyway, I'm just I'm done with it. Man, just grow a set and do it. Yeah, I'm signed somebody that we'll just do it. We went from Mitch McConnell to another Mitch McConnell. Yes, yep, give me excuses as to why you can't get it done. So the you can complain about all you want to about Nancy Pelosi. If she was running the Senate, would they be passing this stuff? Yeah, absolutely, exactly. They always find a way. I mean, yeah, exactly. Didn't find a way. And under the news of what's happening, did you see how CNN tried to tab the two guys that threw pipe bombs? Yes, I did hear about that. Their articles started out by saying two us that traveled from it was a Pennsylvania, New Jersey to New York City. Should have expected a nice sunny day, but instead we're forced to throw two bombs. I mean, come on. And what's sad about that is we're finding out more and more that they were part of a terrorist group. And this, of course, that's what's going on happen. It's crazy, all right, local news, Yes, redistricting continues to be a travesty. Oh votes know. On April twenty first. Is that right? Or you can go now vote early. Okay. So I'm going to read this without Emma's input, right, I mean, without without. Her influence in word, She's going to tell us which way she's voting. Okay. So, Emma, this is the words that you have to go vote on. Have you heard about this yet? Okay? We're voting on the constitutional amendment in the State of Virginia. It's about it's about redistricting. It's like jerry mandering, that term that you learned in school. All right, here's the question, and it's a long question, so bear with me. Should the Constitution of Virginia be amended to allow the General Assembly to temporarily adopt new congressional districts to restore fairness in the upcoming elections, while ensuring Virginia's standard redistricting process resumes for all future redistricting after the twenty thirty census. Would you vote yes to that? Or would you vote note to that? Is that just for Democrats? Basically, I'm saying, like. So you just listen to the moment and how would you vote? Okay, I'm going to read it again. Stop that vote no. But I'm saying Okay. You're going to vote no because you know, for the Democrats to get more votes or whatever. Okay, So the point of me reading that was how is it written. It's written in a way that anybody were to read that and go, well, yeah, of course I want to vote for fairness. Correct. They rte it so that it's going to be and then and then go on TV and tell you that I am lying to you, yes, that it's it is fraud. So the result of voting yes is a ten to one swing. So the result would be ten to one Democrats and Republicans. Right now, it's six to five. We're a purple state. Oh yes, exactly. We should be somewhere close to six to five. It should be representative of it. But they have totally jerry mannered it, and they've blamed Texas for it. Which Texas has nothing to do with it. If you go look at all this stuff that they claim Texas started. Yeah, first of all, they've been doing for decades. That's correct. But if you look at Texas's districts, they do not look like what we're doing. Yes, Like, I don't think people understand what jerrymandering actually mean. And by the way Texas was blocked by the courts, so it hasn't even been approved yet that Texas would do it. So the states that have done it is Massachusetts, and guess how they went. They did what Virginia's doing. Correct, So I mean the one district. I don't know if you've seen it, it's pretty much from here all the way to Tennessee. Yes, it's dumb, right, that's not one representative, come. On one, that's right, ten to one. And don't you think it's funny in the amendment that it's a temporary thing. Exactly, this is just a temporary measure to be Yeah, you will. Be fair, stop counting illegals in the census. Yeah, even if I lived I think in northern Virginia, No, I was a Democrat, I would look at that and go, that's unfair to the state of Virginia. That's not how they're going to look at it. Of course they're gonna look at it as Oh, we've got to be Texas because Texas was doing it. Yeah, all right, yow a post of the week by an idiot. Yeah, I got one of those two. I did see a sticker somebody had put on Facebook. I did that and it's Trump pointing to fuel calls. Oh okay, I. Did think that was funny. By the way, are they even higher than when he took office? You know what I mean? He started when he took office, and they and they came down the other day he had some cushion. I don't know. That's a good question, so I did. There was a clip somebody had put of Kamala Harris speaking at Jesse jack fents. Oh yeah, funeral, yes to which Prior to this clip, Jesse Jackson's son had suggested that people do not make the funeral political. Then come elakum though yes cut three of. The various struggles for justice and dignity on behalf of Black Americans, Native and Asian Americans, Latino LGBTQ Americans, and Americans with disabilities. That was Jesse's rainbow. And he continued to grow it. He gave us. The language the rainbow to understand, as has been said, the beauty that comes after the storm, when we see what is possible and what can be unburdened by what has been. As he once said, when a barrier falls for one of the locked out, it opens the doors for all. And that is what he told. Me, and he what he told me. Yes, is anybody googled to see if he ever actually met her? Yeah, exactly. You know what, if he was still living, that would be an interesting question to ask him if he was in a private room, which one are you choosing? Trump or Donald? Trump says that Jesse hated Obama. Listen, Donald Trump and Jesse knew each other for a long long time. He gave him an office. I know that, And that's what I'm saying. Yeah, I think if you were in a private room with no cameras on Donald or Jesse Jackson would ask Camela to leave. I think I have a hard time like even the stuff that I looked up. So the Rainbow coalition, she mentioned it there and she added LGBTQ plus in her definition. So I googled there. That's what I was asking, what did what was Jesse Jackson's rainbow coalition? And it does say in LGBTQ plus And I'm going to call bullshit on that. In nineteen eighty four, we didn't even know what those letters were, of course not how could he have possibly wanted to add LGBTQ plus in that rainbow? The Rainbow coalition was a coloring of all colors come together. Yes, it had nothing to do with LGBTQ. Correct in my opinion, without really doing any than my hunt. True because I remember a buddy of mine whose fraternity, their nonprofit was a Rainbow coalition. Okay, and they were not part of that. I'm telling you that it has been morphed into. Of course, he would have included that, I'm going to do some research on that, and see, I think that's ridiculous. Yeah, okay, moving on to this week's KBI killed by an immigrant? Uh yeah, this week is Jennifer Morton. She was a children's nurse of twenty five years. She was killed in a head on collision by an illegal immigrant, Torteau Herrera. He was double the legal limit of her alcohol and tested positive for meth. He was finally sentenced recently to a twenty year prison term, with five more years added for a hit and run because he fled the scene after killing the nurse. Now would question, yes, would Jennifer Morton still be alive had air immigration and forced the laws properly and he had been sent back? Of course, So I think the thing that people forget about and we'll move on. Here is you can literally self deport right now and get paid and come back legally. Do people know that? I didn't know that. Yes, can go online and they'll even pay for your flight. You can go back to your country and I think they give you one thousand dollars. Yeah, and then you can literally walk back across the border and come here legally. I hope that's not the case. Actually, but that is the case. Well, I'm hoping you just can't go back to your country and then still walk across the border. Well, no, I mean you can come legally do some paperwork. Yes, all right on to real stuff. Yes, win, win win. We're gonna win, win, win, and we're gonna make America great again. All right. This was mister Trump talking this week. Cut for No. I don't want to brag, but you know they've said this about a lot of things. No, as a president can do some of this shit I'm doing. I know, other president, the things I'm doing, nobody else was gonna do it. I say, they say it, sir, could you do this? You're the only one could do it. Yeah, it's true. All right, moving on Mount Rushmore. Like I said, I'm just glad we have someone in the lead with balls. That's just on piggybacking on your thing. Go ahead with a clip. I do enjoy talking to you that way. I don't know why you insist on making me blow my top. We've been on a lot of adventures together, but it seems like you haven't learned anything anything. You think on it. That's my response to you. I think I don't know why that was appropriate. You insist him blowing. Has he seen that movie? Of course? Yeah, in this world that hasn't seen Hangover? She said, I don't drink. Why would I watch that movie? I've left that movie? Yes he had? Or you were with me pretty much? Yes? He lost me? How many are they? How many are there? Do you remember the trip in Baltimore where I disappeared? Okay, that did happen. That was one. What I was talking about was you in one bed and me and the other in the hotel room, and we were just kind of both waking up. We were sharing a hotel room among two beds. But the funny thing was the third guy was laying in the floor between us, on the floor. He was the one that had the party. I'm trying to remember who this was? This is for Eric. Oh my god. Yet we didn't even know. He was in the floor in between us. He woke up and he went oh, And I was like, whoa, Why don't you know you're in my room? Do you remember why? We said whoa? Yeah, he had a black eye. Well, he went to the he went to the mirror and he turned on the light and he goes, what uh And he goes and he gets mad and we're like, what are you talking about? And he goes, how did my eye get so swollen? And we were both neither none of us knew, and he didn't even know. And he was the one with the swollen eye. We lived Hangover it's Freddy r. Of course I haven't seen it. Oh my gosh. Hey, i'll tell you what tequila, your drive down the floor? Watch Hangover? Yes, do you have a little tablet you can bring? Perfect? All right? We got to get to his stuff after. Is it violent? No? Why didn't know what I asked? No, it's it's hilarious. Listen, Tyson, you got three options, one two or three Hangover one two or three either all three of them are great. It gets worse like it's like the first time one. No, no, no, I don't think I've seen two or three. Yeah you have. Okay, Well that's our homework for the weekend. All right, Mount Rushmore. Yes, is ACC basketball programs. We're in the a SEC tournament. Yes, let's talk about the programs that dominated have dominated the ACC. Yeah. So I gave you that, and then I gave kind of the error that I the reason I recognize these programs for that error. Right, Okay, So obviously number one for me is Duke. But I recognized Duke for the Johnny Dawkins, Bobby Hurley eras more than today. Like that's when I thought Duke, you know, was building and built this massive program. It was before that too, you had Mike Jaminski, But. I didn't know those I wasn't alive then. All right, you and C. When I think UNC basketball, I think of Antoine Jamerson's group, j R. Reid back in the day. Who are these people? These were way before your time, Montrosse. I mean, those were the great Duke teams to or U n C teams. Don't get me wrong, they don't. You don't know James Worthy, Michael Jordan, they were. That's when I became a huge basketball, Bryan, So I'm older than you. Yes, thanks, h n C State, Yes, my would been my Chris Corciani, Sidney Lowe. Yeah, those groups was for n C State. Jim Balvano really is that guy for me? Yeah, uv A. Now while I wasn't or Michael Jordan in that group, I do recall Ralph Sampson was. In that group. He was in that period period. But the only reason I think is because then we didn't have television, so you only saw the stars and at that time, I just remember Ralph Sampson. Uh, was Ricky Stokes on that team, yes, Hotel Wilson and I just because the final four you had Georgetown in that era, Like that's how I remember UVA basketball. And so that's, uh, that's the era. And then the John Karate in Curtis Staples era kind of for Virginia and yes, I know or later on with with the group that actually won the national championship. Yes, but for me in Maryland was my last. One and that's actually what mine was. To and I actually for me, marilynd it was Steve Blake and Lynn Bias and those. To me, the era really and not just era, but the program itself is coaches. Yeah. So you had Terry Holland, you had Lefty Drizzel, you had uh the UNC guy, h come on, Trent Dean Smith, Dean Smith good gosh, you had Mike Kashowsky. Yeah. I mean, you had Bobby Krimin's. You just had these powerful names that were going to get the best stars every year, and it was just it was on. Yeah. And then you know, even after Lefty Drizzel was Gary Williams. Yeah. You know what I mean. It was just these coaches that were just coming through here that were just incredible. I had Clemson on my list, yeah, because I football Horse Grant Yeah, and then later on it was another Grant. Harvey Harvey. They were there at the same time. It's just those those Clemson teams, yeah, which is phenomenal. They were good, but they could never make it over to Hunt. No. I agree. That's what When I googled it, I was like, what do you mean the Clemson didn't win it. I don't even know who their coach was at that time. I'm trying to remember. He was great. I loved it. He was an entertaining guy. Cliff Yeah, Cliff Ellis, Yeah, that's right. That's right. I couldn't remember it. So, yeah, you're right. The Georgetown with or Georgia Tech with Mark Price, Yes, John Sally. Yeah, oh Man, Kenny Anderson. Oh, they were just name after name. After may holy crap. Yeah, they just had this good run. Uh. The listener, Chris Lax has UNC number one and Duke number two. I mean, I don't know how you could do it that way. To me, Duke would be the number one team, but. They're probably googled and it's uh u n C has thirty three titles, where it's Duke has twenty two. Okay, like ACC tournament titles. Okay, I'll give you that. Then number three he had in State ahead of UVA. I have Uva ahead of n C State only because of more the more recent era, but obviously NC State has the historical era with Jim Valvano than Terry. Jim Valvano was more successful than Terry Holland. And then uh, he doesn't have any current schools. Number five was hard to find, you know, and he agrees with us Maryland would be that team. Yeah, that's right. So interesting you said you were saying about so when I think of basketball coaching lise. UVA did have a stretch where they were in and out with these coaches and was but UVA basketball pretty much from Terry holland Jeff Jones and then Bennett were solid programs. Well there was that between you had Pete Gillen. That's what you had, that rulo that went to de Paul. Yeah, but that's why I honestly thought about leaving NC State out because they had short runs their coaches. Yeah, it wasn't a longevity thing. I guess just because of the cardiac kids. You know, the Cinderella story that's always going to be around, and you still have to put them in that top five. But I will say, dude, I came close with Wake Forest. Yeah, they had a hell of a stretch there with Chris Paul and uh. Now can you even name their coach back then? Yeah, when they were really good to them, Dave Vote them, but he left Uva. But and I know maybe that's when they had Riddney Rodgers. Yeah, I would say Rodney Rodgers is the best and Tim Duncan were the two best players remember coming from that program. But yeah, I don't I don't know who was before him before Dave Vote him back in the Terry Holland era. You know what I mean, because Dave vote him was Terry Holland's. Assistant, so I had some good assistance. Yeah, all right, moving on, Oh, we. Got Emma not even that. Have you done rating conferences before? That's wh well do that? We should do that next. We still got brackets, so we can talk about that, like rate your conference in basketball? I mean, certainly ACC would be number one. You're supposed to see that. Okay, all right. What about Emma? Do you have it? Oh? I just had Duke you and c v A, and I had to put Clemson on there since you know, and I guess nothing, Clemson. What's the best run Clemson's ever had in a tournament? I'll give you a shocking stamp a real tournament. Have they ever made it? I know they haven't made a final four. You know who has the longest tenured coach right now? Clemsons by far. Yeah, sixteen years. He's been there. Yeah, he's still he always just seems to win enough to stay there. Yeah, but I mean I give him credit. He's actually done things that the legend couldn't do. I mean, he's beaten you and c at u n c's yeah, you know, he's one game important games. Yeah, I mean they're in the top five of the ACC this year. Right, let's see, I'm about to look at the at the racket. They oh, it didn't have the seeds, thank you ESPN. They played wake Forest tonight. I'll tell you what wake Forest played Tech. They played well last night. They they they could give Clemson some trouble. Clemsons favored by five and a half. I am guessing that that is going to be Oh, I don't have the seed here, but none of none of the teams and teams, none of the teams that played today in the ACC tournament were even ranked except Louisville and they were twenty fourth and they beat SMU. I thought SMU was gonna be my sleeper in the tournament. I thought they were going to be good enough to make the tournament SMU so oh well, so Louisville just beat SMU sixty two to fifty eight. The next game is at seven Pmson's number five. They're the five seeds. Yep U v A. Yeah, that makes sense, so they'll have to play it's Carolina four yep okay. Miami's number three yeah, they were three. That's right, We're getting eight teams in this year. I asked my mom about who the I don't know. I asked my mom who the who she would put? She said, well, why wouldn't you put Miami in there? It's funny logan into Miami too? Really? Yeah, I mean Larrynega, I guess had a few wins, but and I think he had one tournament run NCAA tournament, and I know he won a ACC tournament, But I don't think winning a ACC tournament makes you one of the top five programs in a SEC history. I agree, I mean you would, yeah, I think you would go Florida State because of the tenure that that guy had. Leondard Hamilton. Oh you know what. Speaking of that, Brian French said, why not Louisville And I was like, oh, you know what. As a historic program, they probably are top five, but they won all their championships back before they became an ACC tournament. I used to see, I gotta be honest with you, I forget a lot of times. Yeah, like Stanford, who's talking about Stanford? Right? True? Like I can't even think of some of these teams that we have yea, like somebody had said something the other night about, you know, Stanford or something, and I'm like, why is that talked about in the acy? And then I was like, oh my god, yeah, because I was trying to name the eight teams because they said and the s MU was one of them. I was like, oh, that's right. That's right. Just blows my mind. Can you name the teams that didn't make the tournament? The a SEC tournament? Oh crap, there are teams that don't make it? Yeah, I think there were. I think there were two. I guess Col. You're right, Cal. I don't think Col was in it. Syracuse? Syracuse wasn't it? Wait? How many you make it? I think all but two? And I could be wrong, so Jeff will probably correct me. I can tell you what the bottom two teams. Are, all right, who is it? Oh wait a minute, Cow's not one of them. No, they're nine and nine in the AC. Cow did not make it. Wow. Oh no, Col did make it. Col did make it. Okay, So the bottom two teams. The bottom two teams I'm gonna go with. I don't know the answer to that, all of a sudden is and Syracuse was not one of them. I mean they sucked, but not as bad as the. B Yeah. They sucking football too. They're like, I don't know why they're in the SEC either. Boston College, Oh, just get out. It's on IVY. And then g Georgia Tech. They're two and six. How do you keep your job? He doesn't at Georgia Tech. I think he got fired today. I think they, uh, the Syracuse fired their coach today too. They're four and fourteen. Oh yeah, so yeah, I think we're getting ready to see some firings. Yep, all right, we got to get to this important part of the show. Oh like Kevin comes up at six point forty five. Go ahead. If you have the responsibility of managing the sale of a loved one's estate, please call the Count's Realty and Auction Group. Yep. All right, So clips, okay, this has come back around on my feed, and I know that you love these things too. But Emma, the video is as good as is the sound. So this how. Did this guy? How did this guy be our president? Cut ten, you say your mental focus is it's focused? I say it's I think it's I. I haven't look, I have trouble even mentioning even saying to myself my own head, the number of years I no more think of myself as being as old as I am than fly. I mean, it's just not uh, I haven't observed anything in terms of there's not things I don't do now that I did before. All Right, Man, if Donald Trump gave any kind of interview like. That at all, God, it's crazy. They would do all that they could to impeach him for a heart his sanity. All Right, this is the time of year, and we end the show today and it's a little bit long. We probably need to run Carolina Kevin off as soon as we can, because I have the speech of Lou Holtz, the one that you'll love. You remember those back in the day when he gave the graduation speech. It is one of the most motivating graduation speech that you could hear. But because this is college season, I know that there's a lot of people, a lot of high school parents whose kids are getting accepted to college. Now I see it all my feed. These next two clips are the ten worst college degrees that you can choose. And I know you did this with your son. I did this with my kids. I want you to go to college, but I want you to pick a degree that you're going to be able to go get a job. Sure, right, So here's the ten worst. Of college grads are under employed forty two, meaning they spent all that time and all that money on college degrees and had to take jobs that didn't require college degrees. So what are the ten most underemployed majors? Here are the bottom five Communications It comes in number ten, fifty three percent of them underemployed. Then Animal and Plant Science as majors, Foreign Languages, next Liberal Arts, and coming in at number six with fifty five point three percent underemployed Anthropology majors. Okay, so let's play the next one clip, number sixteen. This would be the top five. Go with part two of most underemployed majors, meaning they spent all the time, all the money to pay for college and then ended up having to take jobs that didn't require college degrees. So here are the five worst majors as in, the most underemployed. Number five, Agriculture majors fifty seven percent of them are under surprise, Then Leisure and Hospitality, Fine Arts majors, Performing arts majors and then criminal justice majors, sixty five point eight percent of them underemployed. How many people have you heard their kids studying criminal justice? But why are they not getting a job? They're having to take jobs that are usually like social services where you didn't have to have a college degree. But why not go into the field of criminal justice. What are you going to do? What job is there? State trooper? Okay, you don't have to have a college degree to become a state trooper. Right, So that's that's the point. You're taking degrees that you're not that you could actually still go get a job. Degrees required in certain positions. I would think so, yes, But when the masses, how many kids do you hear take criminal justice? They all think they're going to be on law and order, right, that they're going to be the federal prosecutor. Guess what, that's an attorney. So you actually have to go get a a law degree. Yeah, so you just gotta be careful on what you choose is make sure you can get a job. So my kids picked the three colleges that I had no idea they were going to choose, correct, none at all. NC State was a surprise to me. Tennessee was a surprise to me. In Uva was a surprise to me. But I said, make sure you pick it, or make sure you pick a degree that you have a good chance of getting a job. And all three of them did their research to tell me, and two of them got degrees that I don't even know what job that would be. Like when Perry told me he had supply chain in twenty twenty one or twenty nineteen, I didn't know what supply chain was. I was telling everybody it was industrial engineering because I couldn't say supply chain, couldn't remember what it was. Then after the toilet paper thing hit at COVID, everybody knows what supply chain. So he had a degree that got him a job. So I just want to shout send that out there. It's just a little PSA to these parents that listen. Yep, all right, this goes back to the funeral. Okay. I know what I'm about to say is going to be controversial, and I hope this is one of the clips that Emma pools for our show. This is the same funeral that you gave where Kamalis spoke Jesse Jackson's funeral. Right, Obama is up here, and what I want you to look at, Dude, I think he put. Bronzer on. Make himself look blacker. I swear to you he is darker. And a couple friends that I sentenced to said the exact same thing, said, dude, there's something about his look there. But he's at a eulogy for a man. He does the same thing that Kamala does. Listen to what he talks about. It's not Jesse Jackson here. It is we are living in a time when it can be hard to hold. Each day we're told by those in high office to fear each other and to turn on each other, and that some Americans count. More than others, that's what Donald Trump says. And that some don't even count at all. Some don't count at all. Everywhere we see greed and bigotry being celebrated, and bullying. And mockery masquerading as strength. We see science and expertise denegrated, while ignorance and dishonesty and and corruption are reaping untold rewards. Every single day we see that, and. It's hard to hope. Look at the crowd forced stand. Reverend Jesse Lewis Jackson. Oh you did remember whires us. To take a harder path. His voice calls on each of us to be heralds of change, to be messengers of hope, to step forward and say, send me wherever we have a chance to make an impact, whether it's in our school, our workplaces, our neighborhoods, are our cities, not for fame, not for glory, or because success is guaranteed. But okay, Jesus notice his oracle or oration. Oh absolutely, he's now become the black preacher up there. But if you really watch that, the part that he could could just rattle off was the bigotry part where he literally lied about what Donald Trump is sure, that's all he did. But guess what party had to read. If you look at it, he has to read the part about Jesse Jackson. He doesn't know anything about Jesse. That party had to like look down at his notes. It's so sad that's their leader. Oh yeah, there's no doubt about it. Yep. Oh my god. So here is really what you want to hear at a black man's funeral. Cut twenty eight. By the way, you know the continent of Africa. He's going to be the largest continent in the world in terms of population by the year twenty fifty, large in. The entire world. Wow, where are we, watch man? What the hell? He's at a black man's funeral? Well, why why bring that? Jesus? Oh woh God. By the way, you know, the continent of Africa. He's going to be the largest in the world in terms of population by the year twenty fifty, at large in. The entire world. Watch watch man. You ain't get that tattoo. I got a question. Yeah, is he speaking at a conference in Africa? Okay, Yeah, he's in Nairobi? Is he speaking at Jerry's economic conference? Is he speaking at a. He's at a funeral, an African American's funeral funeral. He says that that's fake and off the cuff. It's not. I promise you not be real. No, I promise you that was said. Oh my god. All right, So before Kevin gets on here, dude, listen to how cute is this? What I was telling you before? We've had little girls, right, Okay, and dude, the story that I say all the time is I was an idiot when we had Audrey. I was when I first found out we had a girl. I was disappointed that I knew we were going to have a girl right by the time we had her. I was great with it, but I wanted a boy. I wanted to coach whatever, all that stuff. In two years when we were pregnant again, I wanted another girl. Audrey totally changed my life. Sure, and I wanted a girl. And then God did me again and gave me a boy. And he did the reverse on me. And then I got Riley, So we hit a home run there too. But this woman is asking her two little girls, and you don't get to see the little girls, but she's asking them the things that our moms used to tell us. And she's asking her little girls to finish the sentence, so I might have to. Can you hit the pause button when we're doing this, Emma? Yeah, okay, and I'll tell you hit pause, all right. Is there some phrases that my mom said to me and my siblings growing up, And I'm going to say the first half of the phrase, and I want you guys to finish it. Okay, just try to think of what you think the phrase is. Okay, Okay, I'll give you something to pause. I'll give you something to what would your mom mean answering. To cry out. I didn't even see they Listen to this girl. Listen, little girls, okay, dream Okay, as long as you live. Under my roof, you live under my rules. All right, listen to these logos. I will always protect you. Okay, you I brought you into this world. I will take you the hell out. I can. No finish. I brought you into this room. Hold on, go. Back for a reason, because you love exactly children should be. See, not heard, see. Parent. That was just so cute, man, None of that, I'm telling you not. I know we were raised up probably a little harder or whatever, but oh, there's no doubt. Yeah, oh I definitely got the I'll give you something to cry about. Oh yeah yeah, and uh because I said. So, like in all honestly, I know people joke about this, but as a kid under the age of thirty ever cut a switch? Did they even know where to switch? Is? Right? No way do you, emma? No? What do you mean kind of switch? It's hilarious. Yeah. So, if you got in trouble back in the day, your grandparents and probably more of a grandparents would say this to you than my parents. But my parents sometimes too, But if you got in trouble, you had to go cut your own switch, which meant you had to go to the tree and you had to break off a limb. And that was the switch that they spanked you with. They beat you with it. You got beat with a switch, it would leave welts. Oh yes, good Lord, Yeah, that and a belt. I don't know why they called it a switch, but the ship hurt. And my switch is a small stick. So my my dad would do this thing that me and my brother would just start crying. He would take the belt and he go, pop, snap it. He'd snapped the belt and you knew the next one is just on you, and just that pop would make us cry. This is the person coming on. Can attest to this? Go ahead around like a loose gingers and the ice train, Carol, what up? Ain't no shame in his dame. I'll break it in a bag like. My man, Kevin. We were talking about things that our parents used to say, like I'll give you a reason to cry, And I asked Emma if she had ever heard of a switch, to which she responded, she didn't know what that was. Lord knows, you got plenty of. Them, did he get beat more than you. I don't know, dude, I got a lot of them. Brad got more than I did. I was the honest kid. Did I get more of you more? Kevin? Oh? I definitely tripled up. Oh man, I got to confess something here and my brother I have confessed this to him since we became adults, but he lied about everything. My parents didn't believe anything that Brad said. Well, this was. Back in the day day you remember. I mean, we were latchkey kids. There was no one watching us. We were just we raised each other right and so us and the whole neighborhood kids. It was like all of us were like nine and ten years old, eleven, I don't know. We were just rode rode bikes, did everything. We were just in the neighborhood, played football every day. But when the ups truck came, that was something like, oh my god, somebody got a gift to that. Something came in today. So my dad had ordered these things that we saw on TV. They were fishing poles, but they were like a little toolbox. They weren't even a fishing pole, but it was I don't even know what you call them, but the fishing pole was this long, and it was automatic so you could cast it and you just push the button in it. It was like electric reell. So my brother and I opened those up and we saw it was in the box. They were like, oh, hell yeah. So we put them together and we went out in the yard and we fished with them because my dad would always cast out in the yard, you know, and he'd reel back in. So that's what we did. Well, then. We broke him, Oh my god. But we really didn't even know we broke him because we just went on and played with the next thing. And my dad came home and they're laying in the yard and I'm the one nearest him. Oh my dad, the look on his face. He grabs me by the wrist and he says, who opened them? I said, Brad did. He grabs my brother and takes him down the hallway to spank him, and my brother is yelling all the way down the hall It was Trent. It was Trent. But they didn't believe him because he lied so much. Way we were adults and told him by life. Oh my god, I did. It was terrible. I'm still I still feel guilty about lying. I don't know that I would tell my dad though with. My sister because she never got Kevin kN attest to this. My sister never got in trouble, and yet it was a oh yes, and it was a broken record. Do you remember what the record was? We hid it behind the chest of drawer. Fit yes, and she got us. See that was the worst thinking she's ever gotten in her entire life. Maybe the only. One never told the soul until like we were adults, that what that you were the one that broke the record. Yeah, she thought she'd had Oh no, she knew she hadn't. Oh, but Mama didn't. She thought she did it. And I told Mama that Tammy did it. Oh my god. So yeah, same thing. Yes, and she still talks to you now. Trust me. She deserved a lot more and she never got spinking, but she got that one, sweet old Tammy. I got beat by a wooden spoon. I got beat by flip flops. A hanger, whatever Mama could reach. Oh switch, I'm going to ask this rotten if I brought them back, then she make me go get another switch and wouldn't break in your life. You ever have a flashwater? Do you know what a flashwater? Is. Yeah, yeah, my kids wouldn't know what a flashwater is. I got beat with that, and the if my mom got really mad she turned around. It was one of them wire ones. Oh yeah, he's the wire end. Because the flappy end wasn't working good enough. That's when you know it was serious. I don't know, it's just how we lived. We were just always getting something. When I when I start going in circles, beat the whole by one arm and I. Like, yeah, oh god, that's great. Well now listen, you and your brother are very similar to me and my brother. Yes, it's a fight. Did y'all get suckered into getting the similar Christmas gifts? That's oh I hated it. Yeah that sucked. I still make fun of my parents that literally, did y'all have to put batteries in a bag like that was a gift, you know what I mean? But it was rechargeable batteries. So they were trying to give us rechargeable batteries and one of us opened up the colder and the other one got the damn batteries. I used to Kevin would open up his gift or something, it'd be like tube socks. I'm like, well, I'm screwed, and that's what I'm getting. You're going to get tube socks. Yeah yeah, remember they had stripes on the top of them. Oh yes in the day, yes, mm hmm. Nick a. God. I never wore the. Yep or we would get a gift and they would tell us to share. Oh, like that's ever gonna happen. Never did, uh, But no. I was always my Christmas and my birthday because my birthday January eighth, was so close to Christmas. That sucks. Now this is jo, this is your birthday and your Christmas. That's like Lavel. Remember Lavel told her story that great big comedian level. He said, the mama come in on top of the steps. She looked down. As a kids, we running down, run and getting ready to go. Then there and check her. The president. We look back at my mama, he's standing in the tapa stay case. Said. Children. I did my best. They said, Oh, I know where we getting the same shit we gotta last year. He's it. We went right on back up back to sleep. Now do you remember when you got I got pissed that year. I don't think anybody knew it. I got so mad, pissed a Christmas. Oh yeah, Kevin got a gun cabinet, and I knew that. Brian got ear rings. I know, I got ship that's what I got. I remember because I was madder in hell because he got a I don't even remember. It was so small, But Kevin got a like earrings. Lord, who you like? I wouldn't get ear rings from my mother. He got a gun cabinet and it was one of them real nice. Roller skates. No, I don't know what it was. Uh, so longer. It is so longer. His ear rings. That would make you think of hearing, Oh my. God, breathing, noble lord. Oh sure, well, all right, moving on. How's the garden any any seed sprouting? Oh? Yeah, I guess it keeps coming. I suffered. Well, that's kid. Got me think of so much. You know how it wasn't being in church or something. You just couldn't look over your friends. I'm gonna get so mad at us. Yeah, oh Lord, she give you that look now, Emma. That's what they was talking about earlier. When your mama turned around and gave you your look, you already knew it was coming. Yeah, a stick of gum and we would have to have yeah, like your parents couldn't double men. My granddad do that too. You get half and half. It's like, oh, thank you. This this will last till I get in the car, especially juicy fruit. Choose that little zebra gum? Do you remember that it looked good? But it didn't last? Three bites choose? Hey, who's Shaw's picks for Vegas? By the way? Oh, the update after four races. I did win last week, by the way, But after four races, I'm still in the lead one twenty four, Kevin's got one seventy five, and Brian you're at two thirty one. Good lord, well. Deep you gonna dig it. It is what it is. Yeah, Blainey did win for me, and Kyle Larson was the next best performer at third for Kevin. Yep, all right, who's starting off picks? Who you got Kevin? All right? I have. I'm trying to get there. Uh it's the Penzel four hundred correct in Vegas? In Vegas. So I'm going to go William Byron h first, and then I'm gonna go Chase Briscoe. I got him too, Oh you did, sorry. And I will go hmmm. You know what, let's go with your long shot Austin Dylan. Really yeah, wow, man, their team just hasn't done anything this year. We'll go for it, you know. I mean it's a long shot for sure, all right, Kevin, who you got? Denny? Yep? Oh, the way he can throw this out of here. And I'm gonna give my dog close to second pick. But Bubba wil. Bubble, he's running good man, your last pick. Then then I'll take my last one. Uh. I think Priest will be coming forward about time for him to start moving on up. So I took Chris Bell, Chase Briscoe, and Ryan Priest, same thing and thing my bets are in. Yeah. Hey, it was interesting. Denny Hamlin, it was a great question. Somebody asked him on his podcast. I just saw the clip of the question and the answer, not the whole podcast, but it's that little young guy that does his hosting of his podcast with Denny, and the question was you dominated so much at Phoenix the last race of the year. Obviously the pit strategy got him at the end, but they said, how did you not have a better car today? And he mentioned the new car has more horse power. Yes, and the other cars have been able to catch up because of the horsepower. It's closed the gap of what his car set up was versus the others. They've been able to bridge that gap because they have more power to be able to bridge the gap. So that was interesting. So yeah, apparently they changed the diffuser too underneath, and he was complaining that that has caused handling issues that they have not been able to fix. And he said that he was not looking forward to Darlington because he said, I think you'll see us thirty miles an hour slower. Oh wow. That stings, not because of horse power, but because they just cannot fix the handling. Did you guys by a chance? See they did a trip They did a trivia question with the the Joe Gibbs drivers, so they they just had them listen to the to the gears shifting. Oh yeah, and they. Guessed which track it was. I did see that and all four of them got all three tracks right. Yeah, that was incredible. It's just by listening to the gears they knew which track they were going to crazy an the engine. Yeah, trivia question before you leave, Kevin, does it's not trivia questions? Yes or no? Does tie Dylan tie Gibbs Yibs win this year, yes or no? Yes, huh. I probably wouldn't have said that before last weekend, but he seems to be very excited about their new crew chief. And Peo will Win will be a road cord. Yeah. Well, as long as SVG doesn't correct things. Yeah, yeah, I think he took a dig at Chris Capehart. Yeah, of course he did so. Well, well, let's not think that cape Hart hadn't made a huge difference at Spire Motor Sports. They've been running up front, yeah for sure. Yeah, I mean. When's the last time we thought Daniels Horrez would be he's been pretty much upfront. I mean he's been seen at the front. Yes, he hasn't finished up the front except for maybe one race. Dylan's very similar. I mean Tyd Gibbs, it's been seen up front. Yeah, well they finished up there, he's been. I mean he's rightly in the top sixteen. I would think in points. All right, Kevin, we got a rope. All right before I leave? Got one for your Trent. Yeah, what concert only cost forty five. What concert only costs forty five cent? Something about half a fifty half fifty cent? What feature and nickelback? I would wrap that. Makes more sense in the math. All right, So this end, this was a tribute. Lou Holtz passed away last week. Still one of my favorite guys, and every time I listen to his clips, he's like to me, if Nick Saban is talking, I want to hear what he has to say, and Lou Holtz is like this. So this is a graduation speech that. He gave to you in two weeks. Don't forget. Yes, we will not be here next week. That's right, Brian, get push buttons. We will be here in two weeks. In air representative Eric there, we'll be here. And where can you find us? You can find us at YouTube. We're slacking. Go to YouTube. Type in LLH Underscore podcast at LLH Underscore Podcast. Don't forget the end. Have a good week this week, Emma have fun. Hey, go to take you like that video because we're almost at three fifty three fifty feels like a good number, Isn't that crazy? We're almost at three hundred and fifty thousand views as well, So anyway, see you next week or week after. Or with a silver spoon in my mouth. I know. I was born in Fallsby, West Virginia, and I went by where I was born last night, about ten thirty. I was born in a cellar at home, delivered by doctor McGraw. We had one bedroom for my sister, myself, and my parents. We had a half bath and a kitchen. Seven and a half years we lived in that place. There was no welfare, there was no food staffs, there was no safety net. But I always had plenty of because every time I asked for a second, my dad would say, no, you had plenty. But the reason I was bored with a silverspoon my dad had only gone to the third grade. That's all the education he had. But why was I bored a silverspoon in my mouth? Because I was taught by my parents the life's the matter of making choices wherever you are good or batter, because the choices you made don't blame anybody else. But if you get an education, you're willing to work and overcome problems and difficulties. In this great country, you can amount to something. That's how That's why I bore a silverspoon. I was in this country and I was taught personal responsibility for choices you made. When we talk about a commitment, excellency, that's a choice you made. What do you want to do having hopes and dreams and ambition. See, I think that is absolutely critical. Don't make the mistake a maid. I've done a lot of dumb things. But let me tell you one thing I regret. We went to the University of Notre Dame. We took a program on the bottom, we took it to the very top, and for nine straight years we went to a January one bull of sugar, the caught in the orangs of the feast. And nobody's done it before. Nobody's done it since we put it on top and we maintained it. That's the thing I regrets the most. See, there's a rural life, but said, you're either growing or you're dying. The trees either growing or is dying. Soo's grass, those are marriage, so's a business. So's the person. Doesn't have a thing to do with age. My birthday candles cuss born in a cake, but as every day to do my trying to get better, my trying to prove. We got on top and say, you know this pretty good, Let's maintain it. Let's not take any risks. We for the second of the country, Notre Dame. Everybody's oh, be an idiot guy finish his last in medical school. They call him doctor. That doesn't seem fair. When I left Notre Dame, I never thought i'd coach again. Where'd you go from Notre Dame? According to my mother, you go directly hen you sit by the pope. You don't coach anymore. And then I went to live in a town where the average age was deceased. And what I found out at one time to coaches, you have to have something to hope for us up to dream. And even though you've done great things so far, what's going to happen now? I want to give you a simple plan. Life doesn't have to be complicated. I try to keep life simple. Do you realize there are only seven killers of the Rainbow, only seven. Look what Michelangelo did with those seven killers. There's only seven musical notes. Look what Betobin did with those seven notes. There's only ten numbers. Look what Bernie Madoff did with those ten numbers. The point I make is it doesn't have to be complicated. See, you need four things in your life. If you don't have any of these four things in your life, you're gonna have a tremendous void. See, everybody needs something to do. Number two, everybody needs someone to love. Number three, everybody needs someone to believe it. In my case is Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. But the fourth thing you need in your life is you need something to hope for. There's never a right time to do the wrong thing, and there's never a wrong time to do the right thing. Just do what's right. I think it's right, be honest, right beyond time. See lay and gentlemen, and joy life, have fun. You're gonna have problems. You're gonna have difficulties. That's part of life. And don't tell people about your problems. Do you know that ninety percent of the people don't care and the other ten percent are glad you got them, So you're better offer keeping yours up. You're gonna have problems, but have fun with what you're doing. People ain't a jet funding the ESPN, not really, because if you have fun being there, people have fun being around. Doesn't mean I don't do dumb things, and sometimes I wasn't real. Want to. Do everything to the best of your ability with time A looted. You know, ladies and gentlemen, not all of us be all America. Not everybody be first eave. Everybody can be the best. You're capable, bed And I want to tell you if you want to feel you have the right to fail. That's what's great about this country. You do not have the right to cause other people to fail because you don't do everything that you're goody. When you join a spounce, you bring a child in the world, join a business, you join a team, you have obligation responsive built. He said, you owe it to other people to do the maximum you can at each everything you do, it's not complicated. And the last rule to show people your care. And you walk to the room drive you say, hey, here, I am looking at me. Isn't no dratud? There you are? How can I help you? I wish I knew those three rules when I was twenty one. I've used them for the last forty years as a statue of it. Notre dame. I guess they need a place for the pigeons to land. But if you go look at it, just don't look to look at three words on the pedestal, trust, commitment, love,
