All right, everybody, welcome to another episode of Life Liberty Happiness. I'm your host, Brian Sly. Welcome to the Count's Realty at Auction Group Towers here in beautiful Bedford, Virginia. Check out latest auctions accountsauction dot Com. Thanks also to David Hallnaker like a good neighbor. David is there, state farm agent here in beautiful Bedford, Virginia along with me. He is Trent Warner, Pattie and back there pushing buttons back from. Vacation, tan hands pushing buttons. Emma, hello, scaly hands, so bad. I'm glad you had fun. We'll get to that and backwards and forwards here coming up. But a little later on the show. We have a guest on our show, Delegate Eric Zayer. We'll be back on the program. Can't wait to talk to him about all the stuff's going on in Richmond. But right now we'll get to backwards and forwards. Oh sorry, hold on, I'm cooking, hold on. Trying. All right, we had a quick volleyball tournament and Roanoke this weekend. Yeah it was a makeup tournament, right I think. So, yeah, it was rescheduled, I think, but yeah, it wasn't on my schedule. Let me just put it to you that way. So, yeah, it was one day or quick. What do they call it? It's not spectrum. Now what do they call it? I don't know what it's called. Okay, just just where the spectrum was, ye, same place. Although they kind of messed up the layout. Oh really? Yeah? You know how you they had the courts back to back instead of side by side. Oh man, that's difficult. It was awful passing balls. That and you know serving you know how the girls like to have their space. Oh they were not happy about that. That's not good. Yeah. So the volleyball season's over. So we're done with volleyball for a while. So now what's the girl that does everything? What's she into next? Play? So she's doing she gets that from Ashley finding Nemo, Bring a little bring a little drama. She's fish four? Ah yeah and finding Nemo. I said, couldn't land fish one two or three? Huh? She gives me a hard time. So anyway, what did you do this weekend? Uh? What took a long weekend with a bunch of friends. We went to the condo in Beaufort, North Carolina. Man, you couldn't have asked for you know, you nice weather. You get all your friends to go, and you hope it's going to be nice weather towards the end of March, and couldn't We actually went to the beach, sat on the beach. I just gave you a little field that spring and summer's coming. So it was fantastic. We couldn't ask for a better time. And you know, the restaurants down there starting to open up and nice. It was good, really good, good trip cool. Yeh had dolphins and wild horses. And it's just that section of North Carolina, the old old fishing vessels and all that stuff around there. It's just a neat maritime place to be. That era or that area is sort of in a transition stage. Although I still like it because when we first started going then, of course you've been going there forever, but I mean when I first started going down there with you, it was sort of an old town that kind of had been there for a long time. Yeah. Now it's sort of upgrading. It's becoming very very touristy. Yeah, but yet it still has its old, yeah soul to it. It's kind of cool because it's two different towns. There's a town of Morehead City, yes, and the town of Beaufort, and they're both a little small fishing communities, so you get a little bit of it's almost like they're split up a little bit. You can do one or the other. Cool place. Yeah, really fun, Emma, you were in Florida. I was in the Great State of Florida. How was swimming in the Gulf of America. Very cold, like shards of ice hitting you and I swam multiple times. Just you kind of probably just to get the burn off. Saw your skin. Border was closed. Didn't see anything. David tried, just kidding. He did buy a Golf of America shirt. Oh good for you. Water was very cold, but I still you just go numb. Eventually. It was Atlantic Beach too. But you know, there's five and six year old kids. They just they're the toughest kids. Should they should put them in the military. Literally, they're just tough. I was out there snorkeling. Oh, Caitlyn was making fun of me, but it was very nice. It was cold a couple of days when we had the cold front here. But we're good to have you back. We're happy. Thanks for interrupting me. Yeah, she was just getting into it. Oh, good point. I'm just kidding. We made Caitlyn play tennis and pickleball, in basketball and football. She's pretty much she's an athlete, right, Caitlin, She rode horses most of her life. I imagine you got she's. A different kind of athlete. I'm going to tell you this at this table, and I don't know about delegates are, but at this table, if we played tennis, I'm on Brian is probably the best one to play against you. And he does not look athletic. He does not look athletic, but he's very athletic. He's sneaky, I think, David. Yeah, we still love it today. I mean Trent, what I were playing and he hit a cross court on me man and I was able to get to it, but I couldn't stop. Hen he returned the ball, but he yelled, can't stop, and he crushed. He crushed the fence. Next time you go, put GoPros to your head. I want we should do a rematch. I'll play that was a little while ago. We can do you and Trent versus me. And gotta take a lot of breaks. Oh yes, So anyway coming up? Uh, the cat's still away from me. So Ashley is still on her vacation. She is. Yeah, she's at mass nutting by herself this. Week buy your Scott. This weekend, she. Had a neighbor go, but the neighbor came back today, so it's the rest of the week by herself. The neighbor lasted with Ashley as long as anybody else does. No, she works at the d days. They got some stuff coming up, but she'll enjoy. The rest of the week. I'm sure. So you're not doing anything this weekend. I think reg and I are gonna get into something. I'm sure may come down to the man cave watching basketball. That'd be great. Mine invited. Sure that was a hesitation. Yeah it's a man cave. But yeah, yeah, we'll let you serve. He lost privileges. I can imagine he lost some privileges. She turned my mic off. Yeah you should. So you don't have anything going on either, Huh, No, I don't. We're gonna be watching basketball at the man Cave. Awesome, well good, all right, Well, moving on this day in history, This day in history. In nineteen thirty four, I found this one very interesting Trenta. It was the first Augusta National Invitational tournament. It concluded on today. We now know that as the Master's very good. The winner of that particular tournament was Horton Smith Old Horton. Yeah, that name doesn't get used anymore. No, never heard of old Horton. How much do you think the prize money was for that tournament? Fifteen grand a little high? Really whopping one five hundred bucks? Oh really, it was the very first prize for the masters. Oh wow, back in nineteen thirty four. So what are they side note? What are they doing on TV now with the simulator thing and golf? Have you seen Y's and indoor No? No, no, no, no, oh you're talking about the competitions on ESPN. Yes, yeah, yeah, Indoor Golf League. Yeah, they got the prose plan. I've heard it's better than it was. I've heard it's better than it was. I was a little bored by. You got to get into it because it's they hit some incredible shots and even them giving themselves a hard time. It's just fun the interaction. Which have you ever been to a golf tournament? M hm? I mean it's remarkable that they don't promote Like most sports, you want people to go watch it live. I don't think golf has ever tried to promote it enough. Actually, I found going to a tournament riveting because the access. You're right there, Yeah, there's nothing between you and a golfer other than a rope. We went to the Live Tour maybe it just two years ago, right, but we went up in Ohstad Homestead. Yeah, nothing said the one in West Virginia Greenbrier, Greenbrier, Yeah, And we would just know, well, there's Ram and Manuel, not Roman Manuel, there's a rom the all the big guys. So we would just go to the next hole and just wait on them and they would literally be for me to you tea and off. It's yeah, it was fun. That's why I first learned that Phil Michelson was a big dude. Yeah, I saw him, Like, I had. No idea how big that dude was until yeah upfront. Yeah, all those guys are pretty spelt all right in my history. The first section of the Washington Metro opened up. Now, Wow, what year would you think that that was? For the first session of the Washington Subway. I'm going to go nineteen sixty eight. Oh, that's much better than I thought I thought. I thought it was gonna be like forties or fifties or something that they had at doug What was it in nineteen seventy six? Much later than I thought. Yeah? Huh. All right. We are your go to State Farm agent. Like a good neighbor, State Farm is there. Call us today? All right, we welcome in our guest for today, a Delegate Eric Zayer. He represents the Camill Kenny Your district is pretty big, isn't it. It's most of Campbell, southern Bedford, a little bit of Pensylvania County. Yeah, yeah, a lot. It takes me an hour and a half to get from one end to the other. Oh, well, thank you for coming back. We figured, with all the commotions that's going on in Richmond, it's good to get the perspective of the person that's in the middle of all that chaos. Well, it's good to be back here. And yeah, that has been a little bit of it felt like chaos, but maybe organized chaos, you might say, when you've got a different situation this year. The last two years that I was there, you know, we the Republicans. I'm a Republican, we were in a very slim minority. We had just one seat short. This year we were thirteen seats down. Wow, made a big difference. There was nothing that Republican was going to get through that the Democrats didn't want to have get through. So it was it was frustrating at times, but I also learned how to how to work around it and we got a little bit done. So, Uh, I think that's probably just to dive in sure. I mean, obviously, uh, the election did not go our way. I would say that, and so you kind of I think for most people, uh, you kind of knew what was coming kind of the way the election went, But I don't know that we expected it to get go this quickly. I think, Yeah, when you know, historically when Republican is in the White House, you're going. To lose seats in the state level. Okay, we didn't expect the blue wave that happened this year at state level. We you know, we lost seats that we should have held. We never expected to lose and sore. But the good news is we are starting to build back already. We had a special election just two weeks ago over in the ninety eighth district that's on the Eastern Shore, and the Republican candidate over there won by a margin unanticipated. He won that district by even more of a percentage than Trump did. So that's good. It indicates the level of angst in the voters about what's going on at the state level, that the voters are seeing what the Democrats are pushing through and they're saying, uh, oh, we need to turn course here. Yeah. I think I'm confused on the biggest confusion for me was how anybody thought that by electing Spanburger you somehow end up with a moderate, a moderate Democrat. I mean, I'm not sure where anybody thought that was actually going to happen. And you know, even let's just say, let's just say that Spamburger was a moderate, which she is not, but let's just say that she was. There really isn't a choice for Democrats. They have to push through with the legislation that their people put them in there to push through that they presented the last two years when they knew it was safe to present because they knew that the governor Younkin would veto it. Well, this year, they've got the House, they've got the Senate, they've got the governor's mansion. There's nothing to stop, there's no excuse. So they had to push through with things that I think even they were a little bit embarrassed. You know, since California Democrats are blushing it some of what went through in Virginia this sho that's. What it feels like. Well, let's talk about some of them. So the question I have, I just had the Senate Bill three twenty two, which basically I think joins other states and being able to eventually get to a popular vote. Is that something that I mean? Do you see all of these bills? I guess yeah, every one of them came through. Now, some of them could have gone through the Senate and I would have not seen them on the House side, But that one had I think it had what we call a cognate over in the House side. So yes, that one came through. I was a definite no on that because I've seen what happens, you know with popular vote. Were our founders set us up as. A republic for a reason? Yea, And when you bypass that reason, sometimes reason doesn't prevail and you get people elected that shouldn't be elected. So one of the questions I haven't had about that is we're joining other states. And by joining other states, eventually I think that would allow the national election to basically change over to a popular vote, right, But you have to have so many states join that. So my question is when Republicans gain back control? Is that easily undone? That part probably not, because once you join other states and you form some sort of coalition, you've got you know, laws regulating that coalition, that union. There's gonna be it's gonna be hard to pull out, not impossible because we have to exert Virginia's sovereignty to. Okay, all right, well, I hope it is one of the frustrations. I feel like I sort of like Spamberg what you guys have alluded to. She sort of had ran the Biden campaign of being in the basement, had maybe a couple issues that has come out that they've passed that she campaigned on. But so much of this stuff there's not a single chance that they campaigned on it. And then when they got the chance, it was the Blue rolls over the Red and it doesn't matter what happens, and we just don't seem to ever govern that way. The red never seems to roll over the blue like they do us. And man, they just took it the opportunity and just went after it. You were mentioning what they're doing doesn't line up with what they campaigned on, or I think you said it very nicely that I don't think they would have campaigned on. What they're doing is exactly the opposite of what they campaigned on. We all campaigned on kitchen table issues, especially affordability. We August, September, October November, we're all out there campaigning on we're going to make life more affordable for Virginians. Literally six weeks later, Democrats are coming in with fifty plus new taxes. So in these bills don't just spontaneously stantaneously generate. So while they were campaigning and affordability, they're already planning these tax. I so and come in with a surplus. We had a surplus that's going to be that's gone, and we're looking you know, I say, we as a collective, you know, but this is a Democrat driven legislature are looking at how do we generate more money to pay for all these new programs in these things that they want to put through. But it's not just the taxes up that we see up front. It's what I call the stealth taxes. It's the money that's coming out of our pockets that we don't know about. They're gonna be able to say, yeah, we didn't we didn't add new tax So some of those taxes will probably get put into the budget, so it'll be you know, snuck in there. We won't see it. But there's other things like collective bargaining, there's paid family leave, there's the rejoining of the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative. You know, there's all these these things that are going to be taking money out of our pockets in ways that aren't direct taxes, but they still move their ideology forward. Yep, exactly. The game plan. Let's talk about weapons. That's a big topic for me. So what is the what's the build that's can you kind of give us brief details of actually what was passed that's going to hinder arability with the second Amendment? So the game plan here is what's called the patchwork. So they did not come at it with we are just going to do away with a second Amendment, but they came at it with a little bill here, and a little bill there, a little infringement over here, and then the plan will be to build on those rather than just going directly, which you know, there would be such a backlash if they just directly said we are just going to outright band guns. But you know, some of them, for example, I remember giving a speech on the floor about how one of these bills you can have an eighteen year old, nineteen year old, twenty year old. He's often the militaries carrying an M four to defend us. But when he comes home, we're not going to let him buy a pistol to defend himself at home, because, apparently, to the Democrats, if you're under twenty one, you're too immature to have a weapon. Wow. Yeah, that was one of another one. They started out they wanted to make any magazine that holds more than ten rounds they wanted to classify that as an assault weapon or an assault Yeah, an assault weapon. And so of course we gave a lot of grief about that, and the public outcry was what turned him, and they eventually they modified it soon. Now it's at fifteen round You can't buy anything greater than fifteen rounds in Virginia after July one. You can't bring it in, you can't go to your family and take one. So I'm just for my own reasons here. So I mean, I've got a nine millimeter that holds twenty rounds. So you're, oh, you you're a You are a rent and old Brian. So I mean, with this bill, I'm supposed to get rid of those. Clips or so, if I'm understanding correctly, if you've got it right now, you can have it, okay, But don't you dare bret by it after or bring it into the state after July one? And there's a question whether or not you can sell it to your kids or give it to your kids. Yeah, can it be passed on? There was a lot of questions around that one, A lot of questions around law enforcement. You know, historically law enforcement retires, they get to keep their weapon. Well, okay, now is that weapon going to be illegal? Is it illegal for law enforcement to keep that. Well? A lot of these end up in court. I think so, so in of all places, d C. I'm not talking, I'm talking Washington, d C. Districh of Columbia Circuit. I think it was a circuit court recently ruled that they couldn't ban magazines based on capacity because the logic was, well, wait a minute. If you can are arbitrarily say no more than ten rounds, why can't you arbitrarily say no more than two rounds? And if you can't, if you can say no more than two rounds, well, why can't you arbitrarily say well, no rounds, just you can have one in the chamber. Well, and I judge, I think it was went this far as says, wait a minute, So if you can say we can just have one in the chamber and this is all arbitrarily arbitrary. Well, we'll go back to muskets because at the time of the Second Amendment they were using muskets and so you know, you have a musket and yeah, it's not infringing. So yeah, I'm hoping and I don't know where that's I'm assuming the NRA organizations like that are the ones that are fighting these things. Yeah, n r DA or NRA, vcd L, they're on the forefront. They are picking these bills apart, they're helping to formulate arguments. They're there testifying on each one of these bills. And I sit on the Firearm sub Committee, so I get to see these bills firsthand as they come through and VCDL and NRA there every time, waiting for what we believe in and what s wow, what our founders gave us. So it's a fight, yeah, and it was. It was sad. I remember one committee we sat there for three and a half hours listening to testimony after testimony about why we should ban guns and just frustrating. What bothers me the most. Because Trent owns a cabin in Highland County, And when you're driving out there, you see creed ads signs right, and you think about, there's no way. I mean, I've met these people. There's no way you're voting for a person that's going to take away your right to own guns. Yet they do it, And I can't figure out why that is not resonating with But. I think part of it is they're smart. That it's incrementalism. A little bit here, it's a little bit there, it's a little bit get people used to the next level before you go higher, before you reach for that next takeaway. Definitely a game plan. In speaking of that game plan, and I would before the show, we talked just a little bit here, and I'd like to give you a chance to talk about this. So I think the constitutional amendments that we're going to get to vote for in November are three pretty strong liberal stances on things, which is obviously to encourage the base to come in November so that they can also win the House. And now we have this other vote that we're getting ready to do. Does that mean at the federal level we're going to be down eleven to one or are we still going to be six to five? You know that's how important the April vote is. But in the constitutional miments that we're going to vote in November, one of them is reproductive rights, and I wanted to give you a chance to talk about that one. Yeah, that sounds really nice at the title there does Yes, the reproductive right. Everybody wants rights another game plan. But you know I chastise Democrats on the floor for this one. Three years in a row. I have asked for a report. I've asked for a study of what really will this amendment because voters don't know. And voters are going to go into that poll November, they're going to read the first line. They're going to get the little cheat sheet from the outside for the dam saying hey, you want reproductive rights, Okay, just go vote yes on this one. But people don't realize that this would make Virginia the most radical state in the Union when it comes to abortion. But it doesn't stop there. It would make Virginia more radical than any industrialized nation. One of my fellow delegates did a study of one hundred and forty eight other countries. He could not come up with another country that had radical more radical abortion laws. But the thing that irks me the most about this one is that the language that voters will see is very much like what we see going on on this April twenty one jerrymandering, where it says one thing in the referendum, but in the text of the bill it's very different. With the abortion amendment, it references doctors and nurses, that doctors and nurses should have immunity, so they botch and abortions, they hurt somebody, whatever, should the doctor and nurse have a immunity. But in the text of the bill it says any individual, literally says any individual. So if you've got somebody who's it could be a midwife, We would hope it at least be a midwife. Maybe it's the plumber, mechanic or uncle. Maybe it's somebody trying to cover their tracks and they hurt a girl. There's immunity, just blanket immunity. There's no reporting requirements, so your daughter could be sent through a clinic and you'll never know unless something goes wrong. And now we start racking up medical bills and they're going to come after you for the payment. You know, it is as I said also on the floor, this is a sex trafficker's dream because you can run these gals through the clinics. Nobody has to know. Wow, drop at the front door, pick them up at the back, and keep going Wow. That's what it's almost evil. I mean. Yeah, and the language that they use, like we talked about in the voting when that we're getting ready to in April twenty first, to say that the right to vote or to make fair elections, Okay, you wrote those words that way, but you literally are cutting off half the state from being able to be represented. That's really what the story is, but that's not what gets out there. In fact, they got Obama out there campaigning how fair it is. Now, that's I mean, it's just the strategy that they use is sickening. It just is horrible what. You're talking about right there, We'd have forty six percent of Virginia's population would be represented by nine percent of the guys in Congress. That's right. That would make us more disproportionate than any other state in the Union, including California and New York. Wow. One other thing I didn't mention sure that abortion amendment is reproductive rights is very open ended. It's not defined, So that is going to cover everything from transgenderism to the guy that doesn't want her to have the baby, but she has the baby now is he is she infringing on his reproductive rights? It's just it's absurd, how open ended in vague this thing is. Well, did they pass anything on climate? I'm just wondering what's coming at us with climate and DEI yeah, and you're. Gonna pay for it. So we got back into Reggie, the regional greenhouse gas initiative that ties us to California bureaucrats telling us what to do for our electric One estimate of hers is going to add about seven dollars to every electric bill. So times that, times twelve were you know, it's starting to add up. Oh yeah, that's just the beginning. And it's all about this push for wind and solar. Wind and solar is great, but we can't depend on them. You know this this cold snap we had this winter, wind was adding zero and solar a little bit during the day until we got that snow. Yeah, solar panels don't produce a whole lot when they're covered with snow. That's right, And so what's absurd. What makes this the most absurd, though, is we're importing more electricity than really any other state in our region. So while we're banning production here in Virginia, we're importing electricity from West Virginia and Ohio and other places where they're making it with coal. Yeah, of course, So what's the point, folks. We're just driving the cost up for Virginians and we're not even getting the carbon freedom. Here, especially when you think the West Virginia and Ohio or upgradient from us. So whatever gas house emissions are coming right back over top of us when you think about it. So there's some other things that I had in here, and the constitutional mintment that will be voting for. You had mentioned the reproductive rights. There's also voting for felons. Allowing felons to vote is one of them. And then marriage equality. I had not known this, but the state of Virginia has had a long standing ban on same sex of marriage, and so that will allow us to vote that says we can lift that ban on same sex marriage. I didn't know we had. I didn't even know that. Yeah, that's gonna be in the constitutional moment. So you can hear those three subjects, and you know the drove of people that are going to go vote in a midterm election. So if we don't win in April, we're going to be in some real trouble. And on that that marriage amendment, what people aren't talking about is what it's going to do to pastors. So you've got pastors who are morally opposed to same sex marriage. They're going to be forced. They're going to be in a tight spot. There's no exclusion for them. They were I didn't even think about that. Yeah, wow, that's one of the tough ones. And then you know, we all want felt, we all want people to be able to get their life back together and be able to vote. But one of the things there is got somebody who's killed somebody else that somebody else isn't going to get their vote voting rights back. That's right, that's right. So yeah, well, before you go, is there any good news you can bring? Well, we do have cannabis markets, we can go by by dope and just feel okay for the whole thing. Is there any positive news? Lots of positive news? Okay, So what one of the positives is that people are paying attention like they never have before. And we mentioned this before we went on the year that legacy media is not the only source anymore. Like you guys are getting news out in ways that there's I've been you know, I'm an old guy, and I've learned how to use Facebook and how to put reels out and so, uh, we've seen people engaging like never before. We saw here's an example of how that works. So last year Democrats brought anti homeschooling bills and we were trying to you know, really make life rough up for homeschooling. This year, they targeted private school HB three point fifty nine in particular, was a big concern. Well, the people that turned out by email, by phone, call, by text message showing up in Richmond, and we were able to get that bill squashed. Oh so protected private schooling and again just being able to message and to get the news out to let people know, hey, here's what the situation is. You know, we voted these Democrats in here's what's going on, and people are responding and they're recognizing we need to make a change here pretty quick. I think that's what happened on the vm MY case too. That was big news in January when I started v I losing their governance of themselves to Virginia Union or Virginia State, and without social media and the rallying of the whole troops cross state, I don't think we would have squashed that. But oh yeah, yeah, yeah a lot. I got more emails about that one than anything else this year. No, I didn't. I actually I'm a little frustrated with vm I and they've just let their whole they let the whole woke agenda change everything about the school, and I just I'm getting so frustrated. And sometimes you get what you earn. They're never happy. Every time you give them something, they take more, and they take more and they take more. So you didn't really make them happy when you made all those other decisions. In fact, you alienated us the people that went there, and now you want help to try to have your own governance. I really have a hard time right now with them. So yeah, yep, Well, thank you again for taking the time out to let us know what's going in Richmond. We know you're busy, and the we do appreciate you coming by. It's a pleasure and I appreciate the opportunity to let folks know what's going on. That's that's what this game is going to be all about is letting people know what's happening in Richmond so they can vote knowledgely, knowledgeably. Right, so we definitely know we're voting. No, no, no, no, and no I just did yesterday. You can vote early, so the precinct in Bedford, by the way, has changed locations. If you don't know, if you're going to vote early, it's not in front of the BRWA or the Sheriff's office. It's at the Bedford County Nursing Home. Listen, I've often said, and nobody believes me. I keep saying it. Russe Lumbaugh used to say, listen, there are more of us than there are of here. Yes, And I hate that everybody just simply says Northern Virginia runs Virginia. I know it's the truth. But what I'm trying to tell people is if you spend time in southwest Virginia, you can win elections, but you have to get people to vote. And right now, when's the last I mentioned as somebody else? You know, the last person from southwest Virginia that was elected into governor or a high position. I don't know. It would have been Georgia Island back in a thousand. I mean I didn't even know he was a true Virginian. Yeah, George Allen grew up in Lee County? Are you serious yet? I didn't know that. By the way, earlier, just to comment, we are at one hundred and thirty subscribers, Emma, well, now I see you too, So how would you know that? Unless you would have you would have to go to at LLH Underscore podcast on YouTube to find that out. Good call. So for those who are want knowledge like we just had. Man, how awesome that we have a delegate that'll come spend some time with it. It's great. It's got to be so frustrating to be sitting in that seat though in Richmond. I can't, Like I've often said that, why can't we just have straight shooters like you know, what if I have a bill that I want to get passed, and why would you have to sneak it some way through. Right or the California agenda just because you get money and it helps your party, you have to submit to what they request, even if you were a monter at blue dog Democrat, which they don't have him anymore. But the way the founding fathers saw it was they wanted you and me arguing till eventually we said, all right, the best we're going to get is this, and that's what they figured. But they don't. That's not what we have. How often do we hear Republicans need to reach across the aisle? When the hell is a Democrat ever going to reach across the aisle? And when do they ever even get asked that? Right? The only time they reach across the aisle is when they're punching somebody or pulling the fire alarms. And blame us for the punch. That's a great point. Yeah. Wait, I got that news later in the program. All right, sir, he is. Your drama, all right, drama. Oh so this is for Barbara. Barbara is a Reacher fan, right, yeah, yeah, that's the show. And to the guy's name, the actor Reacher. I don't know what his name is. Oh, I can't remember his name off the top of my head. My mom called him. My mom says he's got little steps, big guy, but little steps. All right, well, big guy. You know, most of these actors right away from acting aren't really tough guys. Right, this one is. I probably wouldn't mess with him. So this is a video. Yeah. Now I didn't know this because I thought, oh, he's gonna be in big trouble. Now. What I didn't understand is his neighbor knocked him off of his motorcycle. Yeah, so you deserve to get punched. Yeah, all right, so this is Reacher, uh from the show Reacher, which is great punching his neighbor. Go ahead, cut one, tell me it's over wright the violence. You don't want to see it. I don't like. Violence, so and the clip even makes it look like he's the aggressor when actually the other guy shoved him first off of his bike. This is a prime example trend of how you can't watch I'm not sure driven. To wait, but he was the one originally driving that motorcycle. Correct, he stands in front of him. Yeah, so if you were watching this and didn't know the backstory, you would think that dude should be arrested, right. The Reacher guy. Yeah, but then that's what How often do we see a video and later on we find out it was totally different exactly. This is a prime example. This is not the first time his neighbor has done this. Is that Reacher no feature is on the bike right there. He's the big guy. And so literally his GoPro. There is a video of his go pro where. The guy literally knocks him off his bike. Yeah, well you deserve to get pounded. So if you notice there's a motorcycle that's out and yes's his kids. Okay, he was out there cleaning the motorcycle. Why would you've got a nice driveway there? Why wouldn't your bike be in the driveway so you could clean it? He literally set that up, waiting for him to show up so he could walk over and flag him down. So I'm glad he got his ass. B Yes, yes, Alan, Uh what the last name me? Richard richards Richson Richardson. Who is one of our fans. Laura, Milly my mother, that's your mother. I love her. Well what does she just say? Because she has on at L l H Underscore podcast you can see live chats, and she said Trent needs to run for office and then or Brian please pray. But I thought I read it as oh God, Brian. I read it as she found it herself. I love Milly. She mentioned you first, so I like father David better don't start a rift? All right? Yeah? So my second, and I'm not gonna First of all, I'm getting ready to make you very uncomfortable. Every show the Madison is a phenomenal show, romantic, But you're only going to be able to watch it with Marty. That is a requirement. Well, you're gonna have to explain more. Please. It's a phenomenal show, okay, but I mean it's not something I don't I don't think you would enjoy it on your own. I think you probably it's probably it's probably a couple swat that. Yeah. First of all, this is a notebook. Look, Kurt Russell was in it, did you tears? Michelle? It's got great actors. Any nudity, Yes, I'm in. Are you serious? It is a phenomenal, phenomenal show. Matter of fact, I'm so mad because now who do you think directs it? Trent uh your boy? Yes, Taylor Sheridan. Oh. Hey, by the way, I just found out he directed my if I say, top five movie, Hella Rye Water. I didn't know he did that one. Wow, you just found out the other. I think you'll enjoy this one again. He makes fun of the wokeness. That is so good. He's so good at it. He's very crafty. But I think you would really really what platform is it? I believe it is on Paramount Paramount Yes, okay, yeah, I'll give it a chance, please, all right, please? So three episodes came out, and then another three just came out Sunday, okay, which I'm really pissed. About because Ashley's gone. Yes, so I can't watch it. Well, she left you without thinking about your considerations. Good point. Why don't you just watch it without her and then tell her what happened. Ashley said, you two went black. You're the sixth sense. She fixed it. Good Lord, Ashley's not being so mean to Emma. Emma, she pretty much said she doesn't like you. Are you sure you didn't she just chatted that underneath Millie? All right? Yes, that is My recommendation is the Madison. Okay, man, So there are movies and Brian French told me about this one, and it's like you're going to have to sit down for two and a half hours to commit yourself to watching something. But it is old school war style type movie World War two. It's called Nuremberg. So it's the Nuremberg Trials. I've seen it. I just I haven't quite clicked on it yet. I'm so close. So the other one that I wanted to watch is Peaky Blinders, but I was in the mood of seeing Okay, I was going to set to Nuremberg. Let me do that one and see how that one went. Dude, how that did not get You know, like we google things when we're watching something. Yes, I googled how many Academy Awards was Nuremberg up for? Not one zero? There's no way you can watch that movie. There's three actors in that movie. You could give an Academy Award two and the movie itself should be up for Best Pictures. There's no way it couldn't be. And it didn't get anything. So Emma's not going to know this. This should be. That's why her mom picks you second thousand chance in does not know anything about this. Okay. When you and I grew up, your parents used to purchase something at the store and bring it home and it was that thick and it was called a twitch TV. Guide switch TV guid. Yeah, Emma, have you ever heard of a TV guide? We didn't They have that in hotels when you need to look at the channels. No, that's the regular, that's the god. So literally, they would produce a book every week that you could pick up at the grocery store. That's how you found out what was coming on. There was no other way to find out. We didn't have the internet, so if you wanted to watch something, you had to pick up a TV. Guide and no, yeah, see what it's going to be. Well, Trent, I'm telling you right now, if you want to be a millionaire, just make a TV guide that people can actually google and find out what good shows are on, because I tried that today, and you know, you want to know they're the worse. Like if I google best shows right now, you know what comes up? Things that you and I would never watch, right, not even close. And it's usually the Academy. Award, Globe whatever, that's not I'm watching that crap. Yeah, the good stuff. They don't ever promote. Well. So I was checking. And the reason I was jumping back and forth with you is I also see that we're not live. Okay, so Ashley was correct. I said, just give her a hard time. She said she was working on it. Technical difficulties on the live side. Apologize, Ashley. I apologize to Ashley Emma. All right, So anyway, and the next one I want to watch is Peaky Blinders, so I will do that and then maybe the Madison before next week. Okay, all right, move it on. Yes, hey, I'm going to do a really quick segment every week. Now. This is not going to turn into Brian's and Trent. This is just mine. Now. I do want you to do some occasionally, it's rude. No, I'm just telling you I want I'm only doing this because I want. I want to see the different in algorithm. Difference in algorithms. It's also too. I just think it's neat that TikTok can help small businesses, and it does. I don't think people realize that. I don't know why I get some of the stuff I get on TikTok. But this is Ike who owns a donut chop, and it I will scroll through Martin, it's I donut Chop to roll it on, and I just it sticks in my head and I actually watch his stuff because it's interesting. Okay, So go ahead this week. It is not it's in Kansas. Why would it show up on my algorithm? So, and you're promoting a guy that's not even hers. I just think it's cool because if you ever travel, guess who are you? Yes or no? If you and I were travel baseball and we were in Kansas, we would visit, all right. So that's what Each week, I want to promote whatever comes across my algorithm. Get to do it, and then you're gonna do it some weeks, but it's your show. Thanks for the Ashley can stop yelling at me. It's fine now, Thank you Ashley for letting us know all right, this is a cut too, or all right, don't shop. Last week we did a video mee cemar Rolls and ask you guys, how many thought we cut out of that one log that wasn't That wasn't a really big log for what I normally do. That was late in the game, just needed a few extra Forty two was a number rolls out of over right there. Just just keep in mind the guy with the cutter is the one to control. I could have made that more, I could have made it less. I make them thicker and make them thinner. Anyway, there you go, guys. I can tell you it's not on my algorithm. I know, but I can't wait to see some of yours. Okay, no, cause you even say the same thing. Whine this on my algorithm? Mine is my favorite? Is the forty two years? You're telling me for forty years, I have to watch everyone else. I love that I have to watch them all. But I mean, I just think this is cool because it's a donut shop. Yeah, and Homie's got two of them. I want to open a donut shop. First of all, it's fast. I had an experience like I didn't know how donuts were made like. I used to love that. Remember the show How's It Made? How's It Made? That's what I'm saying. Watch an hour. I cannot wait. You have a donuts. This is going to be a fun segment. I'm telling you you'm a donut maker in your presence. I'm not kidding. I used to work at the Wondering Donut. No, I think it's neat. They have great donuts. By the way, if you want to promote somebody local, do that. Because I slaved away at like two o'clock in the morning. That's the other thing. It's what time that guy gets it there? And I was the second first person out there at twelve. Just blows my mind. Those guys work so hard man. All right, yeah, moving on sports. Sports, It's time for sports, all right. You need to talk about women's too, women's sports. For some reason, Ashley texted me performance sports. What does that mean? That's the name of the spectrum? Now? Oh oh, thank you Ashley? Yeah all right, please? So where do you get the comments? I had discretion, but. I had to start a new stream. You see the comments? Will they come up? I don't know. I don't know. Yeah, so I'll just do I have to cut them on or do they just they'll come on. But I started new streams of the comments from my mother. I know that, but new ones will come up. Yeah, don't make me. Yelling. Let's get back to sports focused sports brackets your show, though, Go ahead, talk about your brackets. Trent always sends me an invitation to his brackettology. Yeah, my family and my friends, the people I love, I join it. Excuse you, sorry, most of the people I love. Do you have a bracket? Em No, I forgot jeez, So I'm pulling it up as we speak. I am number one. Well, why Brian Frenchman ahead of me? He's not ahead of you. You're tied. No, no, but you said he was ahead of me on yours. Right on my list on my phone. But I can read the score and you're tied. Okay, so both of you are tied for first. Salty? Yeah, salty? All right? So in Trent's about mid pack, would you say. It's not midpack at all? I'm third, but I'm tied for third. There's two people, there's two people tied for second, and then there's three people tied for third. I'm third. I am with Sarah dutt Wiler and Mama Juju, and then Jeff Rupert is tied for second with Braden French, and you were tied with Brian French. So we're all right there. Now. The thing that concerns me is you and I have the same winner, So I'm not saying I can't pass you. There's still two rounds before we get there. Duke, he and I chose Duke. I knew there was a gauntlet for them to go through. Yeah, I look at things differently. I think when I watch Duke play, I don't think they've played well in the tournament, but I also think sooner or later, they're going to start hitting shots that they've hit all year. Yeah, and they haven't for the last two weeks, and yet they found a way to win. You know, ACC took it on the chin though, Yes, are they the only team left in the ACC. What is it about Pat McAfee that he can get people like Coach K and Nick Saban to say things on his show that you and I never would a thought would come out of their mouth. Okay, Coach K was on McAfee today, I think it was today or yesterday, and he said, man, how about the Big ten they have showed up in this tournament. And Pat's like, yeah, how about the acc And man, he must have struck a nerve because he was like, oh, really, when's the last time the Big ten won a ten tournament? And it was like, oh, yeah, when is the last time the Big ten is won a tournament? It's been a long time. Yep. Uh, do you want some trivia? So yes, give me some trivia. All right. So here's a question. What was the last number one overall NBA pick to win a national championship? Oh? Wow, that is a tough, tough one. Since nineteen ninety. I don't know that I would know the answer to that. Uh, it's got to be a Kansas or Kentucky. Team maybe, So not to drag it on too much, give it to me. In twenty twelve, Anthony Davis one with Kentucky. So everybody been that's been drafted in the last yeah, twenty five years, only one has won a national change and been number one. That's kind of cool. Now what was the thing? Oh? Shoot, as oh here it is all right. Of the schools that are in the sweet sixteen, yes, which school has the largest attendance of students of enrollment. Oh oh, I saw this. You're like the kid in the class back there with your hand. Oh, call me, call me. Michigan. Michigan is fifth. Wait, who's in there? They're seventh. Give me the teams that are in there? No, yes, no, yes, your own research. So so the biggest school, biggest school is Arizona. Oh wow, yeah, I could see that. And do you know that no team Brian French sent me that you've seen the map that no team since I want to say two thousand or something that's out west east west of the Mississippi has won a national title. That's nuts, It's absolutely crazy. Yeah. The second biggest enrollment is per Due. And I thought Purdue was such an elite school. I didn't have had no idea that it had that many students. They've got forty eight thousand or forty four thousand. Then Texas, Michigan State has more students than Michigan. Would you have guessed that? No, I wouldn't have either. In Houston, I had no idea you some of that be that big. All right, let's go bottom. Who's the bottom in attendance? Saint John here their second, but they have double Yukon Duke private school. Duke only has sixty five hundred students. Wow, that's wake Forest is like thirty five. Saint John's has fifteen thousand. That's the second lowest. Wow. So Duke has less than half of the second lowest. And then Nebraska. I didn't know Nebraska is such a small school. Yeah, it's nineteen thousand. I mean it's that's a Liberty university. Huh, you know, I don't know. I just thought that was some kind of cool trivia. That is cool trivia. So I found some stuff that I found interesting, obviously being a Duchye. So Duke has never won the national championship without beating Saint John's. Isn't the're crazy? It is cool. In their last four, I think three out of the last four they won it Indianapolis, and. They got Saint John's this time. Yes, okay, that's the next. Round, Yetta, They've got a gauntlet. Man, if they beat them, they get I Iszo or Hurley. Yeah. So they only got two. It's not like they got to go against all three. No, but you would have beaten some pretty good coaches there. Right, Okay, who's the next UNC coach? Oh? That is an next one listed. Yeah. First of all, do you think Hubert should have been fired? Yes? Yeah, I'm tired of hearing if I hear one Mahamie Jones or whatever that stupid guy is. Man, just stop the money, Just stop telling me that Hubert didn't want the job and who was forced to take it because he was a black man, and I just shut up. All that stuff is fodder. But I will say the only thing I feel bad about for him if he wanted to continue, if that is the case, but if he really wanted to continue, I hate that a broken hand would make such a difference in a man's career. Yes, you know that their best player. Honestly, I think he would have kept his job. But Trent, that press conference was not good. You can't sit up there and say I don't know. What happened, right, Well, what I'm saying is without the broken hand, they don't lose that game. Oh of course not right, So he doesn't have that press conference. It just I think maybe he's just it's exhausting, He's just he looked like he was done with it. So who gets who's the next? Who's the next? I honestly, I think I think you go outside. I don't think you hire a unc alum. There isn't anybody. I mean, who could you get? Oh my god, you don't want to know some of the names that they're throwing out, and you look like who Kenny the Jet Smith? Oh that's dumb. I just think it's stupid. I mean, at least Hubert had some years on the bench. Wes Miller is the name I keep hearing he went there. I don't know. I think about somebody like Bill Gillespie or not Bill gill No Bill self. What are they gonna do? The Kansas connection again? You know, it looks like he's ready to leave Kansas. Yeah, and he said he's got some health issues, which he does, but it maybe, you know, I'm sure he would entertain it. I guess, Billy Donovan, I think you're. One, Billy Donovan. But I did mention to you, well, why not a Bruce Pearl. Bruce is young enough that he could be a good fit there. Just the way he left, I don't think he'd probably be a candidate to jump into a role, but maybe he would be. I don't know, i'd root for him. I mean, I think they're good candidates out there. Did did Auburn let his son go. No, he's sticking around. Well okay, but. Yeah there's some I don't think you're gonna get Brad Stevens out. I don't think he's coming out either, So. I don't know, you said Michael Jordans. Michael jordan Yeh, he's. Been an assistant a head coach before. I can't see that though, neither. You got to be able to recruit. Yeah, and I don't know it's going to be interesting whoever it is is. You're already on the hot seat. So you I think the rumors that I hear the Iowa and Iowa State guy either one of those. That's a mistake. Oh really, that's just my personal opinion. You and he's a different animal. And you back in the day about young coaches like would go to Kentucky and die. I mean that's a different animal, man. How about the guy from Alabama nay Oats. Yeah, he would be a fit there. There's no doubt. I was just looking at because I was waiting for you to tell me how old Billy Donovan was. That was your argument, Yeah. Because I just but I looked and he would be he'd be the sixth oldest that are in the sweet sixteen. I mean it's not even Sean. He's the age of Sean Miller and the guy from Illinois. So one thing we don't discuss anymore Trent, that I think is going to change is these universities don't have endless amount of money, contrary to what we and so I actually read a story the other day that said the problems you're having in some of these blue blood schools is for years the sports have offset costs at the university. Now they named a few union and I think you and C was one of them where they had to borrow four million dollars from the university to pay for some sports. Oh well, it's yeah, and I has changed everything. And so as a coach, those are things you got to think about going into it. Can you be successful? I got a big name for you that you would be like, no way. But I saw him in a press conference and I think it's pickable. Dan Hurley at Yukon, Yeah, he is so frustrated with fans not coming and people griping, and he's won two national championships for him and you're still bitching. I could see him saying, do the rick Bettina and Calipari thing. Absolutely, I'll see you bitches later and I'm gonna go win somewhere else. Yeah, and he would be phenomenal with at U. And see that would be what a land that would be. And U and C does that. I mean, look what they did with their football program. Yeah, it's not like they can't. I mean, yeah, that would be a phenomenal higher Oh my god. And him bringing his brother on for as an assistant, Oh. God, that would be great. I mean like when Ricky Stokes coached Tech. All right, yes, moving on from basketball, which we got some great matchups in the sweet sixteen, so definitely need to check that out. But NASCAR, Tyler Reddick wins again. Okay, how long before we find out they're cheating? We don't. I don't know. I did see something this week, I think where Keselowski Ralph Racing did file some sort of complaint. So I'm curious to see if anything becomes of that comes of that. They've dominated, good for them, like the old days. And what did you think of the race? So I didn't get to see I's see, did I get the race? Yeah? I wanted to see Darlington, but we were so busy. I was coming back from the condo and just got busy. So I watched a lot of it Monday because I was interested in the whole dynamic of more horsepower. Some of them wouldn't know, like Joey Logano obviously didn't get it right, but obviously Tyler Reddick and Keselowski did. So it was interesting to see that. I don't know, I didn't I didn't mind somebody being sometimes. I don't mind domination if you're that good. And he's racing where nobody else is. So I don't know. I thought it was I thought it was good. It wouldn't wire to wire and a lot of passing. I don't know. Yeah, I mean, I it was interesting. I hope they give they should give points to the driver who passes the most cars. That would be that would be funny. Because Ryan Blaney just keeps doing it. Yeah, and he was phenomenal this past weekend. It goes all the way down and comes all the way back up, and goes all the way down and comes back up. Find him a freaking pit crew? How hard is it? Good? Lord man? That's pitiful? All right? This week there at Martinsville. I expect you to ask that question when you go to Pulaski County and Chip Dun's crew is out there, it's not Chip. What's our car? His name is Corey, Corey Warwick done. So I want you to go up to them and say, how hard is this? Get your pits, get it in, get it in gear. I didn't put my logo on that hood for you gots to be this slow anyway? Okay, Uh, he got me all missed up. Now I'm trying to remember if it is Corey it is, Yeah, it is Chip. You put Chip in the post. Chip Dun is who I went to VMI West. Oh, it just happens. Stuff like that doesn't happen, all right. All right, so don't a little later on we got Carolina Kevin uh coming up, so uh he will Uh well, we'll have our picks for Martinsville. Yeah right, and we. Got update to our course to what yeah, yeah, yeah, yes, no F one F you uh is in Japan. Okay. I don't know anything about that race other than I'm curious to see if Mercedes is just gonna be dominant. On and just hope it doesn't rain. It seems like it always rains in Japan. It's true. All right, moving on, what's happened. It's time for news? Any comments? No, nothing, I don't see anything yet. Work. Can you tell how many people are looking? It was for earlier? You asked one. Well, that's because they all got knocked off. That was not in MOA's fault. Well whose fault was it? The internet was twelve? So oh man, it. Was not me. M yeah, you can yell for it. Well, they can't hear us to log back on. He's not gonna yell at me. Let's see what's happening. What's happened. I took out. Legacy media headlines just so we can get through because we had a special guest today. So anyway, they all hate America anyway, sude? The more I watch it like seeing n oh my god. Yes. I don't know if you noticed, but they had a clip where they were literally talking to a Iran expert and when they finished with that, they came with their own American expert and they say, so, you know, with with Trump saying he has spoken to officials, an official are refuting that, what is your thoughts? And responded immediately we caved. Yeah, that's simple. We caved Yeah, they're never happy. Yeah, Like, at what point in time do you not want peace? Like you like the CIA guy Brennan who's lied about everything, is still on a panel on CNN and saying he wouldn't know the truth if it was slapped him in the face. You're the one that's caught caught line about fifty one CIA agents or GOT intelligence officials. Now to mention, he was the guy that wrote that it was a video, yes, or Benghazi, yes, exactly the line right, And you've got him up there talking about lying, just which the media is crazy, which has been proven by the way to be what false you have been talking? How amazing do you think they come back on and apologize? Of course not no, no, and it's ridiculous, but yes, anyway, I just I read the headlines and it just drives me crazy to think that they just can't be impartial. Yes, I did see where it does look like the Supreme Court may be poised to stop at least a limit mail in balloting. How great would that be? So I'm curious to see how that will affect because they said the result will come down before this year's election. Good. So anything you had other than Iran. I mean that's pretty. Much so ABC News I'm watching last night because I've been out of the loop having a great time at the condo. I wasn't sure I even texted you guys, are we still bombing Iran? I can't find any news at all, and especially the weekend. It's like these news channels are not news channels anymore. They really aren't. They're just shows. They don't do news. So Sky News does do news, and I hadn't turned it there because I didn't want to hear the British spin. So I'm watching ABC News last night to get catch up on some news for the show. Okay, the TSA lines, there's two reasons the TSA lines are as long as they are. Yes, A, because we're in Iran and we have all of these illegals that want to come blow us up. Right, we have illegals in the country because of who the Dems let the illegals in, and we don't want any of those guys going through our airports. Yes, so we got to have the TSA in the first place, correct, And the Dems themselves aren't funding the TSA. So there's only two there's only one reason that we have those lines like that is the Dems. I mean, essentially it's the same person that costs both. So Jeffreys is going to get up there and he's going to say he doesn't want ice in the airports because they will we will kill We've we have proven they kill Americans, Oh my god. And we do not want them to kill Americans. So if that was your worry, why wouldn't you fund the TSA so that the ICE agents wouldn't be in there? Exactly? Then ABC News is spin was at the end of it. I was like, you can't be kidnemed. So Trump sends TSA agents or ICE agents into the airport to make them shorter. All of a sudden, the lines are going faster. Correct, that's not what the news. They didn't say that one time. Correct. What they said was how bad is it that you had federal employees getting paid working next to the volunteers that are still working that didn't get paid. First of all, I know you don't like him mc kennedy, the senator, stop with it. They're not getting paid, right, they get paid when they come back to work. Well, no, it is a shitty thing to be going four weeks and not get paid to pay your business. I don't disagree with you right when you say, don't act as if you're never going to get the money. With Well, I mean, I still think it's crappy. But the Dems are the ones that are keeping them from getting paid each week. Correct, because he is the one Kennedy that agreed, all right, well let's just fund DH the TSA eight. Yeah, and now the Dems voted that down. That's right. So I mean, at this point, what the hell? So they just got to keep to their guns and keep explaining who we are the ones that are keeping them from being paid. The Dems are keeping them from being paid because of a political move. Yes, and I think Trump is not afraid to keep fighting them, So I hope we don't give in on that. No matter what I agree so or anyway, as long I don't mind Kennedy, as long as he doesn't quit keep trying to throw those soliloquies out about old they old Ram. Now he was pissed today, mab captain. Somebody yelled an objection or something and then stormed out, and dude, he would not let it go. That's against part. If you're going to speak, you you have to be heard. It has to go on the record. This dude was a Democrat and just yelled and took off and he wanted to bring his ass back like this went on for twenty minutes. Argument. But anyway, I think it's crappy. The Democrats always seem to get away with it because they don't there's no media. You were right where. I heard ABC News as radio was playing and they were talking. They were at the Raleigh Airport and they were asking people, yes, what they thought of the ice agents and literally the gro goes, I don't know what they're doing. They're just standing around doing nothing. Yeah, they're not helping, That's what she said. But then later on in the day I hear a different news report and it's like, oh my god, the lines are going by so much faster. So it just depends on which airport. Okay, by the way, how many times have you gone to TSA airport and seeing the people just standing around? Exactly every time I walked through there, I was like, you guys are just getting paid to stand here, I mean every single day. What have you come up with? Oh? So, anyway, how about a president is actually trying to resolve something. Exactly or come up with a solution. Yes, yeah, right, so before we move on to post a week, Yes, is gonna rush through this, so I'll give you as much time as I can. I found this one interesting. Yes, did you read it? This is a true story. So there was a Maryland man. Oh, I thought you're doing the post of the week. So there was a Maryland murder suspect that was arrested. His name is Dayton Weber. He is a quadruple amputee, meaning no legs, no hands. Yeah, I can't watch that. I've seen the clip. I have to fo there's no clip. No, I'm just telling you because I knew you couldn't stand that. But apparently, yeah, he shot a friend, yeah, killed him. And so I think he was picked up in Charlottesville of all places, and sent back, extradited back. The suspect apparently was a professional corn hole player. How and of course the media was saying this was more handgun violence. Can't be no gun, no hand right, what are we talking about here? First of all, how does a person do this? Do you know what they called him when he played baseball? What second base? I didn't write this to be a joke. Actually it was on the ESPN of all places. Okay, well he's a corner hold champion. That's great. How they showed him. He took the thing and he threw it like that. I watched it. Unbelievable. I didn't mean to watch it. It just snuck in on my all right, that is your news. That's the algorithm I got on to. Yes or a post of the week by an idiot. Dude. This guy is a delegate in Virginia, of all places. I downloaded his clip here, let me read it now. I'm going to read you what he put in his post. Are you ready for this? Yeah? Uh, this is Delegate Don Bayer of Virginia. It's not a done deal by any means. He said, we have effectively made the case that even though this seems unfair in Virginia, it's totally fair in America for those of us who believe that taking back the House is the most significant thing, and therefore we must pass this amendment. Yeah. So he literally admits that it's unfair, right, but it's fair for the for the country, for the country, right. That is their argument. What an idiot? I mean, who cares about Western Virginia? God? Right, like Delagazara said earlier, we now have what we will now have nine percent of forting nine percent of the state will only have nine percent of representation. Yep, there you go. That's what's honest. What's the woman clip? Oh, so here's a clip by an idiot, so actually related to me. But here are the gains of women. I'm just going to rattle some of them off to you. So this is her posts by the National Organization for Men Against Sexism anyway, So these are women's victories, emma, So you can think, you can think. In nineteen ten, women could start wearing pants. In nineteen twenty, white women could vote, nineteen sixty three women gained equal paid rights sort of, and then nineteen sixty five black women could vote. That's that's a lie. But anyway, nineteen sixty nine women were allowed to initiate divorce. So these are all the victories. And then in twenty twenty two women lost the constitutional right to abortion. Wow, and all those victories. You know what, they never say, thank the men for changing Ooh, good point, that's crazy. All right, moving on tour, kbi okay, killed by an immigrant. There we go. Unfortunately, this poor girl is at Oil l Loyola Loola Loyola Loyola Sheridan Gorman that she was killed last week by Jose Medina. He was an illegal who had been arrested multiple times, including arrested by a border patrol, but fled to Chicago because it was a sanctuary city. Venezuelan. I don't understand in all honesty, how you can sit up there and vote against Ice while watching literally your American citizens be murdered, and yet you stand up there and say ICE agents are murdering people. So when you're watching an illegal immigrant. Kill a person, all she was doing was walking her own park friends too. So there is a Democrat that says she doubted this story, that the girl should have realized there are times that you don't take a walk, but she. Was literally with people. She was blaming. She's blaming the walker. Uh, it's come of the earth man, the guy Metzger's what's the guy's name, The governor Illinois cousin Pritzker, he blamed Trump, that this is Trump's fault. And then the mayor of Chicago, which I was probably pretty impressed with. The reporter that mentioned the law that's in your city and that you have become a sanctuary city. Do you think you should apologize to the Sheridan girl's family or Gorman's family, And he said those laws were passed before I became mayor. Come on, man, you've been the one up there keeping law enforcement from helping. I don't again, I don't understand that you sit there and you go to these rallies where you claim your democracy is being ripped from you because of Donald Trump. Meanwhile, you stand by idly and just watch illegal's murder right your neighbors, and you don't care. Right, you're out there blowing a whistle, yeah, because somebody's trying to protect you. And this girl could have could likely have been a liberal fan. Absolutely, Like they showed the one woman that was burned to death, she was a Black Lives Matter fans. She was burned to death and it wasn't illegal, but it was by a black person. But she had on her post Black Lives Matter and then she ends up getting caught on fire on a subway. Unbelievable. Yep, no, no need Tory. Yes, Donald Trump, is there a man win win win. We're gonna win, win, win, and we're gonna make America great again. Do you ever before you play the clip? Do you ever when he answers? Sometimes go all the time since day one? But I love it, Yeah, I love it. There's nothing he can't do that I'm not going to laugh about. Why didn't you tell your eyes. In Europe and about the war before? So we are very confused about one thing. You don't want to signal too much, you know when we go in, we went in very hard and we didn't tell anybody about it. Because we wanted surprise. Who knows better about surprise than Japan? Okay, why didn't you tell me about Pearl Harbor? Okay? He is so damn funny and real. He's real. I have noticed, though, have you noticed a lot of sitting down? He's doing so much more of that now, like no, no, no, it's it seems to me to be a lot of it now, Like like even just meeting somebody that he's standing with in that person. I know he's always done it in that room with the big desk that he makes the people stand, and he's not down when he's playing golf. I wanted out much he's doing of that. Hey, he was on the course the other day and you see tiktoks of him. He seems to be fine. Yeah, I just worry he's old. Shit, I know, that's what I'm saying. I mean he ain't young. Yeah. Uh listen, do you think he would fall off a bike? I don't see him trying to get on a bike. Do you think he would stumble walking through the sand? No, not nearly like what we lived through. I'm not saying that. I'm just worried for if he's okay or not, because we need him. I do love the idea that if we are bombing the hell out of Iran, that we have Marco and j D and whoever those two people are that go negotiate all the time with cough In, Yeah, his son in law Jeric Kushner Yeah, and and Trump. I mean, who else would you want to be in those dialogues? That's who I want? Yeah. Absolutely, Listen, the dude is as good as fly. He's focused. These focus all right, Moving on to a mount rushmore of bad rules. So these are sports sports games, yes, in Cuba or pro. So these are bad rules now that have made this sport worse. Yeah, and so next week, okay, let's go ahead and do rules that have made the sports better. Okay, I like the positivity. Yeah, because I mean you and I have talked about Yeah, that absolutely have made the sport better. So I, Emma, I know, don't. I've literally sent it to you early today so you would be pleasing secure enough for an extra interviewer interviewee, and. I only thought of good ones. I only thought of ones next week. Emma's mom, you did your homework early. It's okay, she did, right, Mommy Millie? All right? Uh so I'll be mine first. Okay, it's my show. Uh Uh. Baseball replays okay, I want them gone. Dude, I hate them. I can't believe they're bringing them more in. No, I can't stand it the whole, whether it's a ball or strike. Now they're bringing that in. But I listen. I can't stand basketball. It's become too hard to watch the last four minutes. If there's a play at the plate, yes, or or a home run. I think I'm okay with that. Yeah, but you got to stop with the base first base in tagging because you touching someone's cloth. Yeah, while they're sliding through the bag is bull crap. The dude is safe. Let's move on. It's kind of stop. Yeah, so that's one the catch rule in football. I've always hated the stupid catch rule. What mean you must make a football move? And I mean just is it a catch or not? I mean. Because even now, like we just saw it in the play this past year. Yeah, we saw it two very similar that they called. They've just given themselves gray area to be to make an out, to make exactly to get an excuse to get out. Yeah, protesting balls and strikes. That's that's this year. Yeah, there's no way I'm gonna like that. I'm not gonna like that either. Flagrant fowls. I hate flagrant fouls in basketball. Come on, sometimes you get hit. Dude, this whole well, you've got to call it because it's above shut up, there's no concussion. Listen. I can say this one. You got three officials watching. If for some reason, a kid is holding his head and it's bleeding and it looks like he got sucker punched, Okay, that we might go look at. But when the guy just takes his elbows and he brushes the guy and the dude flops backwards, awful, You as a referee saw that. You know that that wasn't a flagrant. But because there's contact, now we have to call it a flagrant. It was awful. Come the Duke game, Boozer went by somebody and his elbow hits his nose, right, Yeah, they call a flagrant. Ten plays later, the dude goes up and grabs Booza by the neck and pulls him down. He didn't do it on purpose. He was gonna die if he didn't. Yeah, that neither won a flagrants. Yeah, and yet we've just ruined the sport. It's just it's Weenie's trying to get out of having to make a controversial decision. Like did you see the Florida game with the guy who ended up hitting the three point shot to sink Florida from Iowa. Yes, earlier on in the game threw a punch. It wasn't ejected, so it was a tie ball. You know, they're both going for it and the other guy jerks, and when he does, they both go to the ground with a guy for Iowa goes to punch, but he doesn't, and he just kind of hit it's the ball. You could tell it was anger, but you could also tell he was like. Oh, corrected it. Yeah. Well, the Florida coach was livid that he didn't get ejected. Was that why he went off the pussing. Yeah, oh yeah, it was bad and it looked like a tantrum. Correct, And that's where I'm almost like, dude, he didn't punch him. Yeah, I mean that's the reason. It's just dumb. I don't know what they think they're legislating out or whatever, but it's it's just made the game harder to watch, correct, Yeah, all right? And my last one was it's targeting. I get you want to keep players now. I get concussions in football and nailing somebody who's but the suspensions. Or what I don't like. Yeah, Like, you know, hitting someone defenseless and absolutely killing him, you want to throw them out of the game for the rest of that game, that's fine, but having them suspended for the next game is stupid. Yeah, especially when you find you know, when someone ducks at the last second and you couldn't avoid it. Right, dumb? Yeah, all right, what you got the So these are rule changes. The way I took it is things that they've tried to put into games that made it worse. So the NFL kickoff is still the lamest thing to try to watch of a game after a freaking touchdown, or to start the game where they're all just lined up ahead of the guy running. And have they done an evaluation on how many concussions have been saved because of this? I'm sure, but I'm sure it's made dat Yeah, exactly like it's it's anyway that I can't stand the NFL kickoff. So the college game can still do it, okay, but the NFL game isn't come on. Yep. So here's one that they took out because it sucks so bad. Do you remember dick by Tow and his whole jump ball and oh, the jump ball penalizes the guy that was the defender, and he kept doing that year and year. So then they went I think it was two years they tried to give if you had a tied ball, they tried to give it instead of an alternating possession. Yeah, they went two years without the alternating possession. That so when you tied up the ball, it was always going to go to the defender. But then what happened was on a loose ball, who was the defender? And so it got really really confusing. It got so confusing that they got rid of that. They went back to the alternating possession. You don't remember that. I did not know that. But before I forget, Yeah, I saw this one the other day that I did not know, and I wanted to call you so much on it. It was a ball that was tipped and it was going into the backcourt. It was tipped by a defender like stolen. Ok. But before it crossed the line, the offensive player touched it, Yeah, and then recovered it in the backcourt. Back court. I thought so too. They didn't call it, and so the announcer didn't know the rule, yeah, said it's not because the defender touched it. Yeah. No, that's not true, because. The defender did knock it that way, but the offensive player did touch it before it crossed the line. If it doesn't change possession, correct, it's always in the possession of the offensive team. And so if you're the last to touch it and you're on the offense, it's just like it went out of bounce. So when it goes across the line, it's out of bounds. If the rules are still the same, that's right, right, Uh, Okay, So I'm going to say something that's controversy here when watching the replays, I can't stand. I was one of the games in the NCAA's this weekend where the ball was coming off the rim and you're going to catch it, and the guy behind you punches or pokes it, and you were just standing there to catch it. And because he hit the back of your hand and you hit the ball, the ball did not go out of bounds because of you. I hate it. The ball went out of bounds because of the other guy, but because your last finger touched it. It's so dumb. It didn't It wasn't out on you. So the referee standing there gives the ball back to you because you weren't the one that made it go out of bounds. But then they asked for the replay or whatever, and yes, your ring finger was the last one to touch it, but you had no You were not the cause of the ball going out, correct. I hate it too. I think it's dumb YEP. Now, in the Virginia play, by the way, the Virginia guy did touch it. Yeah, so you could tell by his hand, you could tell, and you could tell by his reaction as soon as he went, oh shoot like that, well you knew it went out on him. So yeah, I can't stand them either. You're right, those are the worst. And what sucks about those is when they break them down. Look, oh I can see it barely. Yeah, yeah exactly. And if I if I see one more player do this, yeah yeah, I just want to cut off a finger. Yeah. And they're wrong about half the time, correct there, they're yeah, exactly. Here's the one that I cannot stand. I saw it last night in the women's game. It was all four advancing the ball because you have a time out, so you're trying to do what the NBA does. Yes, then did it only for one reason? ESPN highlights so they want so when you call a time out and there's only three seconds left, you're in the back court and the old and the and thank god the men don't do this. For the NCAA's you have to throw a link of the court pass catch it like Christian Laner. That's not gonna happen anymore. In women's ball. They don't get to run the length of the court and make a half court shot. They get to throw it in from half court. They advance the ball. It's crazy, dumb. I hate that too. Yep, And I'm glad we haven't seen it a lot so far in NASCAR, but racing back to the checkered flag, it has to come back. I'm hoping it is back. But when they did the yellow caution, and as soon as the caution comes out, we go to time trials, and then I'm trying to pull up Chris trying to get okay, he said flagrant fowls in basketball where if you wind up or if you hit someone in the head, it's a flagrant. So I think he's saying what we are taunting fouls, four penalties, targeting and college football. You hit that one international tiebreaker in baseball? Is that where you put a guy on second base. Yes, I don't mind that actually, to be honest with you, it makes the game go faster. And then five defensive three seconds in the NBA. I don't know what that is. Yeah, you get a technical if you've got a uh, if you're not a you have to be within five seconds or I think he's what he's talking about. You're talking about standing in the zone for three seconds something like that. I don't know. That's in high school ball too, So they took that zone out of the NBA. You can play zone now if you want in the NBA anyway. Yep, anyway, Yeah, next week we'll do positive changes, all right, and there are a lot. Yeah, I can think of a few. Run off the top of my heads. I can too, all right, moving on, Yeah, have about it. I just got three things to say. God, bless our truths. God, bless America stock God. You can make fun of that. But I hope you look at that clip to watch you waller some food in your mouth that am I putting. She put it online and Marty was like, oh my god. I was like, I know you should see it. She put a clip of you were wallering it down peanut in your mouth while you were trying to tell me it's one of your shorts. Anyway. That did not get six hundred thousand likes her reviews. Oh, by the way, King of Queens watching an episode last night. Yes, oh my god, that show was so good. Arthur, he went on this one. But that's uh, Kevin James. I don't even know what his real name is in the show, but in the but he decides he's going to start eating healthier because he watched a movie of how they make meat, how they packed meat. So because he's eating healthier, he's getting smarter. Oh he's reading books. Oh my god, he's so funny. All right, So we had a listener that actually he's the one Grayson, the one that gave us the six hundred thousand views. He sent me this one. This is a Subaru retreat. This is a super room people to drive subar roots. Cut in this. Look at them. Absolutely super drivers. Six per stickers. Last time, grave ass bitches. What is it about. Liberal I bet Mama Millie's got a meeting like that tonight. What is it about? What is it mama does not drive? What? What is it about them that makes them think singing? Is the I don't know ket to everything? And you know how much they hate us? What I mean, they just can't do. There's a lot of things we should do. A mount rushmore. What liberals hate theotor grant. Four wheel drives? Oh god, uh air? All right, So here's another one. Here's another one. I mean, these are the people that were leading our country, all right. Cut twelve. You are allowed to dance. Yeah, you might feel awkward because you're wearing a cape in a crown and you're dancing. This is Kenny, she's wearing a cape. I know. I kept waiting for the dude. I was waiting for the punchline, just. Because I'm dancing. This is real and I'm dressing different and I'm being weird. It allowed to dance, she's teaching her body. Even allowed to dance. There is no rule against chancing. Be safe, by the way, you can stop there express. My favorite clips are when she does your clips of your face when these things are playing, because your face is like what the I just remember growing up, like you remember your parents. You had table manners, right, Yeah, And dude, one of the funniest things ever was at my grandmother's house. She was the mama that cooked yeah on Sundays, right, and my cousin was down. And I think about you and your cousin, David, And I think about my cousin Mark, who used to come in from out of town, and he was at my memos and they the adults had a table, yeah, and the children had a table. Yeah. That didn't excuse you in your manner? Oh No, I have one on Burt and see what happened, dude. We got to laughing. And I never will forget my memo Goo y'all quit quit laughing like it, you know, keeps that to a minimum. Looks something. She'd say, yeah, and she literally said. If I laughed like that at the table when I was your age, my mama would have smacked the teeth out of my mouth. And Mark goes, is that why you have false teeth? Oh? God? I was scared. But I think you know, you know what I talk about it, like, what the hell turn your ears off? Dude, you're visiting, you get to go back? We don't. Yeah. Yeah, but I think. About that girl right there, and I think somebody is her parents? Do you know what I think about that told her it's okay, yeah, to act stupid. I think about that's who. That's who ran our country. I mean, I'm not kidding you for you. So that's who would be negotiating with Iran right now, like they like, that's who's going to talk to them. Like A good example was this weekend at church. Yeah, there was a couple down the rows from us, right, but they had a kid and he wouldn't stop. Talking during church during church. Okay, listen, I know it's okay, baby, but it's not okay. Other people can't concentrate, like, take your kids, there's a nursery. My mom would have been just that. She would have just just done that, and we'd have been like, oh, because that was coming. Now, absolutely right across the travel I don't know how many times. Yeah, but there's no safe space at got my mama's shoe could find you anywhere. All right? Okay, who's the next person they're coming after the Libs? Who's the next person? They got TDS Trent Drange in syndrome. But who's the next person They've already started next to line? Okay, so you know they did the whole thing with the Florida governor DeSantis. Right, but now you don't hear anything about DeSantis at all, right, because he's fallen down. All right, listen to this about JD. Cut fifteen. He is married to a woman of Indian descent. He has mixed race children. So to all of the MAGA voters out there, if this man will not defend his wife and will not defend his kids, do you think. He gives a crap about you or anything to. Do with you? Why would he? What do you mean he doesn't defend his wife and kids? Yeah, listen, I mean I'm gonna play this again just so you can hear what. This is her argument because he has mixed race kids and his wife is foreign Ish. All right, play that again. He is married to a woman of Indian descent, he has mixed race children. So to all of the MAGA voters out there, if this man will not defend his wife and will not defend his kids, do you think he gives a crap about you or anything to. Do with you? What racist GOP group chat? What's she referring to? I don't know, but she is the one that's the liberal she's become. She's become the liberal darling because she's so angry that her arguments are absurd. But the headline reads Republican Party exposed. Nice. She's the one that also remember a few weeks ago, her clip was to tell what's her name? Uma? What's the what's the Usha? What's her name? Usha? His wife? The wife told her that she should blink to give us the warnings. Dude, does she not look like the type that would whoop your ass if you got out of line? Oh? G Evans, she's so much. If she was on that show, she would slap that girl down, just shut up. Yeah, you're an idiot, But that dude lets her say that. Yeah, I know, they literally have a channel that lets her say that unchallenged. Which I reminded someone the other day that channel produced Tucker Carlson. Oh yeah, don Imus. Yeah, you know what I'm saying. Back then, somebody, I think it was me and Woody talking about it where he said, if you think about it, CNN was far left, Fox was being perceived as far right, and MSNBC was where you went for straightening. Right now, look at it. It's a clown show. It's worse than CNN, which, by the way, okay, okay, so before we get to that one on okay, you have got to hear the hypocrisy. I know you've probably heard this clip, but the hypocrisy of the New York governor. You have got to hear this. She knows that there is a problem, but she can't do the math correctly. Cut twenty and conscious of the facts that I need people who are high net worth to support the generous social programs that we want to have in our state. Right now, there are some patriotic millionaires who stepped up. Okay, cut me the checks. I mean, just if you want to be supportive, but maybe the first step should be go down to Palm Beach and see who you can bring back home because our tax base has been eroded. So I philosophically don't have a problem. It is like I have to look at the fact that we are in competition with other states who have less of a tax burden on their corporations and their individuals, and I would say remote work changed everything. There were people who could only work in an office in Manhattan and work in New York State, and they were captives to our state. They were going to stay. We saw that that's not the case. I mean, you know Wall Street businesses looking at Texas. They're not going there because they have a nicer governor. I know that for sure, but they're going to because of the tax. Right. We have to be smart about this, but we want to fund with what we already are taking. May I remind you what governor is the one that said we don't want you exactly if you think that way, we don't want you. It was during COVID, or right after COVID, Right, what a idiot. It's interesting to me, though, if you look at the dynamics of that This is the first time I've ever heard a liberal governor say we want you back, that our tax base is why we lost you. Somebody has finally gotten to them. And the math is they know what the math is showing. They just don't know how to get you back. She didn't want to say did not want say we're going to cut taxes. Nope, she didn't say that at all. She wanted more patriots to sign more checks. What's crazy about that is I think about Trump and I think of the millionaires who have cut checks to start the UH savings. Yeah, you know these are he's got out there begging. For for the East Wing. They're doing it. Yeah, and she's begging for it. Yeah, and then trying to tell us COVID of course, yeah, caused people to leave her state. Yes, that normally would be in an office, right, that wouldn't mind paying excess tax. Maybe you should have thought of that before you ran them out. Right, They actually even tax you if your corporate headquarters are in New York. They still tax you like you're working for New York. Yeah, so you got to be That's why The Rush Limbaugh Show moved to Florida in the first place. Yeah, yep, all right, So I'm going to put this under cut forty seven, which is always the heading of the smart So listening to Scott Jennings, which I am shocked that he can be on CNN, I really am, but he's the one voice of reason almost every night and has to be the reason anybody would watch these roundtables because they're so awful. But listen to cut forty seven. Would be fine with me if we continue to bomb them. These are the worst people in the world. They've been at war with us for forty seven years. They want nuclear weapons. By the way, the reason that they're saying they are no talks while the President is saying there are is because they lie all the time. They sent their people out in February to say, oh, we would never have long range missiles, we have no plans, and then what do we find out this weekend they got four thousand kilometer range missiles that can reach most of Europe. They lie all the time. That's what the Iranians do. They're terrorists. They hate us worth a great satan. Israel is a little Satan. We go wipe them off the face of the earth and will be fine with me. But if the president achieves no nuclear weapons, no ballistic missile program, and an end to the largest state sponsor of tear on the face of the earth, that'll be a good outcome. So I hope he gets it. I'm glad he's working towards a diplomatic solution. They say he might be talking to this speaker of the Iranian Parliament. I don't know how it works over there now, because we killed so many of their top guys. Maybe the left hand doesn't know who the right hand is talking to. Thank God on it. Let me ask you something. Until that clip, and you may have because you were in the news this weekend, I did not know until that clip that they found that they have missiles that could have gone four thousand kilometers. They're finding more and more stuff, which i'd see. I love. I watched a clip of Glenn Beck say, listen, he's way more calculated than you. Guys ever even want to give him credit for he said in twenty sixteen, I could probably tell you he was probably a little loose cannon, he said. But I'm telling you right now, everything he's done or is doing has been thought of a long time ago, and so I think it's genius. Like he said, we're talking. They said, no, we're not, and then they are. But at the same time that this is going on, we're sending troops over there and some stuff is happening. And then I saw a clip yesterday where he said they just gave us a present. Yeah, it ended up being the oil that we're beginning. It's so what I would say is and I was not a big fan of going after Iran, I'm not, but I will say Trump has changed what has been going on the last fifty years and will have changed what goes on the next fifty years. He's been the he's been the folkrum. Everything has tipped in one side, and it's on the America, make America great again side. How great would it be if we could go back to Iran and have actual talks and be able to even get oil from Iran? How great would that be? I just think it would be neat that if Iran people were free. Yeah, that would be the coolest thing. Yeah, just like I'm seeing more and more Venezuela things. Yeah, of a country actually maybe becoming free. By the way, we didn't get to talk about that the whole Venezuelan and the World Baseball Class. How cool was that? Yes, we missed last week. Yeah that's true. No, I loved it. By the way, that was so good. It was such a good and listen, you know what was great about it, Yeah, is the anguish on Americans' faces when they lost. Yeah, you could tell how much it mattered. Yeah. And by the way, Bryce Harper hit that home run. Yeah, it's the loudest I think I've ever heard of baseball stadium. Yeah, it was huge. Oh, it was massive, and I still cannot believe we I didn't know until after that game all the stuff that goes on, like, for instance, I didn't know that the Padres were calling. Oh yeah, I didn't know all that stuff was going on. Yeah. He had to negotiate which players to play well, Venezuela. The other teams had to do that too, because major leagues are putting their hands on everything. How cool was it that we have people like Aaron Judge and Bryce Harper and I mean the stud's going to play. That was a great line. Yeah, we just couldn't hit. Yeah, you know what, good pitching sometimes, Pete's good hitting. Absolutely, that was a great, great series series yeah, I would have shot in the arm for baseball. Yeah, you know, yeah, it. Makes me want to because I kind of lost touch with baseball. Yeah, but now, I mean, I'm looking at these young players and I'm like, holy cow, baseball's got. And by the way, in Sports Day, we skipped today's opening day. Oh it is the Yankees play at the Giants tonight. Wow. So the Orioles in the first place? Oh are they do we win? It's opening Day? Yeah, you gotta be okay, Well, I hope they're better than theywhere last season, all right. Hanging around, hanging around like what are like gingers and the ice tray's Caroline, Hey. Dog, am I you back from the beat, back from the dead, Kevin? Do you know the power that you have, The power that you have, The power that you have is in our basketball pool, which you were, I think down towards the bottom. But when you made your picks. There's a friend of mine, Julie, that loves your segment of our show that once your picks came in, she decided she doesn't know what damn thinking about basketball, but she went ahead and made out her brackets, and ironically she is tied for third and you are not. You are third from the bottom. My friend. Well that's good. But just like your fat lady sings, it ain't over until it's over. That's true because you still got Arizona alive. What are before we get too far? What is the standings for NASCAR? Oh? The points? Yeah? Okay, so which is why you would ask because you had a good week last week? You won the race last week you got twenty six points. Kevin was in second with forty six points and I had forty eight. What do you mean I won the race? I'm saying you won between us? Oh okay, but I was like, men, did I win money? So currently the points are I have one s two, Kevin has two twenty one and you have two fifty seven. Good lord, we loll. The average is coming to me. Yeah it' kind of let's see how that works. Brad Krause, you let me down. I could have went jumped in the first place. Yeah, you were right there. That was a good call. What'd you think of Darlington? All? Brian sent me something about the rule change in sports? Yes, what would be your one rule change that you don't like? What would let me ask you? What was Trent? I? Think my first number one was I hate the new NFL kickoff. It just looks so lame. Well, mine was the tuck Oh yeah, the tuck roll. I can't believe they have it. They still have. It, stupid, like we don't know what a fumble is. That was an obvious fumble. It was, of course an obvious fumble. That's just crazy. Yeah, do we have Tom Brady with. I think my pick? Well, the race is c E. L Chastine Elliott and Larson. Chastaine Elliott and Larson Elliott and Larson picks you know, really think about a long shot though? Do you mine? Oh? Go ahead? Sorry, Okay, mine are Denny Yeah, Brad Keselowski and Kyle Busch. Okay, mine are Kyle Busch, Chase Elliott, and Christopher Bell. Christopher Bell is a good pick. Yep, none of us pick long shot. None of none of us picked Blainey. Yeah, who's your long shot? Oh? You don't think Kyle Busch is a long He is a long shot. That's how long shot. You started out with a long shot. I always do my favorite, my middle one. Now I hate Kyle in your lifetime with Kyle Busch for a five dollar bet do you know what the payout is? Yeah, one thousand and fifty five dollars. Yea, Kyle Busch, I know I could believe. Well, you should do it because if you would have bet five dollars last year Bubba Wallace willing to brickyard, you'd won five thousand dollars. Good lord, I love some Pandel. Bad thing about Fandel is you can't bet many things. That's it, that is true. Yea. They just don't know enough about NASCAR, is what I think. You know? Yeah, Uh, how did you think the race was at Darlington, Kevin? I mean it was kind of boring the first I guess half to three quarters because it wasn't very much going on. Yeah, then at the end you kind of saw the last sixty to seventy five laps, you got to see a little bit of stuff going on. But it really wasn't the race that I thought it was gonna be. That Denny Hamlet and that folk on earlier in the week that said it was going to because he said it was gonna be a lot of slipping and sliding and you better watch out and chase the car, and I didn't see all that. So what's interesting about that is he so the segments is what screws it up, and I didn't know that. So someone had asked about gas, so he was trying to explain that the less gas I think you have in your vehicle, the slippier it gets, right, But he said, the segments are what they are. Nobody was ever going to see that tired degradation. So everybody's kept coming in splitting the segment. That's the one thing I wish changed, But I know they won't do it because stage racing has become, I guess, a points thing. So I kind of wish they would give up the stages just to see how that would change the races. Again. Yeah, see a lot more strategy. Now, I don't. I'm not advocate of this, so don't. But I mean, is there a way that you can change the gas so that we're not split it, so that they change the length of the segment so we're not being able to split it in half with the gas and everything? You think, so just make one long stage like half the race instead of two of them. Yeah, so I don't. I don't know, it's I just do away with the stages anyway, Yeah, that's not I don't. Think that's going to happen either. They just there's too many chances they get points. Yeah, and and some people it does make for an interesting last couple of apps when somebody's trying to get in the top ten. Sure, so I think it does have its effect. That's pretty decent. I did see Keselowski talk which was brilliant. He's a very smart guy. You can see why he would own a team. Yes, but Kei was saying when he was on rawsh and it was the chase days, he was the best team, but they would take his car and give it to the other guy because the other guy hadn't made the chase. Now I'm the best car. I need points, So I'm going to race the best car all the time so I get a chance to win more than I used to. Well, so, yeah, that's interesting. Well what do you think about then the I guess the effect of Michael Jordan and what's going on with his race car drive winning full races out of six. What effect do you think has happened that would actually make that feasible this day in time? What was the. Major change in your eyes that has produced what's going on? I think Denny Hamlin really knows how to build a race team, and I think it. I mean, they've only been in the league, what four years? Five? Maybe, yeah, it takes a while to build something, but I think they're getting the fruition of me. And they had to build a new garage that they didn't do that in year one, So I think it just took them a while and they know what they're doing. So I I didn't know this until watching Junior and they were explaining the manufacturers. So I think everybody thinks that the manufacturers don't matter anymore because it's this next gen car, but apparently that's not the case. And so Junior was explaining that you have the Hendrix that's going to get the data. It's going to get everything firsthand from Chevrolet, and then your other teams get that data, but they don't get you know, you have sort of tears for your manufacturers. I'm just saying it looks to me like Denny Hamlin's twenty three eleven is higher up the food chain than Gibbs. Now when it comes to Toyota, I mean if you look at their I mean they're pretty You remember how track House was kind of the new kid on the block and they were right there and then all of a sudden, Let's not I'm just saying I remember them getting in trouble. Do you remember when they got in trouble from Mick Kendrick for wrecking? They got their hands smacked by Chevrolet and. So it was a ross chesting. What's track House done since then? And so I don't know. I don't think Chevrolet is a whole haveit haven't done a lot? Well? Junior had some speculation on that this week. He said that, let's not forget Chevrolet is spending a lot of money right now in F one to develop an engine. GM and GM would be yeah with Cadillac the how about back to Darlington? How cool was it that Hose of R had a car that looked nothing like the Chili's car, but he did it as the Wrangler. It was awesome. I mean, just how smart is that he didn't need it to be the throwback Weekend He did it on his own. Anyway. How many cars do you think they sold souvenirs of that Wrangler? Absolutely paint scheme, It's awesome, it looks so good. It was so cool. Yeah, and I love dude. I'm telling you I love Hussar. Yeah, watching him race is so much fun. Yeah, and we've. Got some really good drivers coming along that are along his lines, like that Cory Day kid is going to be something else and I don't want them polished. Stop trying to make them robots. Oh yeah, that was kind of cool too. And his uniform he had like a wrangler uniform comes out of cowboy hat. Yeah, that was cool. You got the garden going on? Oh yeah, playing this weekend main. Hey Kevin real quick before we gotta go. Hey, I get these algorithms on my TikTok that have me with some of these different donut shop and all this other stuff. Do you get that stuff on yours. Donut shop? Exactly? I got this guy named Ike Ike this Ike donut shop rolling on. You don't get that? Uh uh? Do you have anything? Yeah? I got some streaming, But the one I got today was why can't two Chinese people have a white kid? That's it. It's two walls don't make a white. God. Two wallls light. Oh Man speaking about this racist country that we have. Wasn't it great? On the World Baseball Classic when you watch our team play, we could have an otany. We could have a black guy, we could have what but when you watch the other countries, they don't have any Caucasians, you know what I mean. But we're supposed to be the racist country, right, Well, we can have anybody or the melting pot we are. I mean, that's what I loved about it. Oh, so to end the show, I know it's at seven o'clock, So the end the show real quick. You sent me this clip. It is really excellent. It is a speech given by the guy that killed Osama bin Laden. The guy's name is Robert O'Neill, the Navy seal, and it's a motivational speech. Really good. All right, everybody have a good week. Next week we will pick up where we left off. Got an interview with Kevin Foster to do the Uh yep, sorry I forgot to mention that. Though what I will be prepping because I have my wisdom teeth taking out the day after. Oh okay, are you serious? Yes, you've gone this long without taking you isn't to you? Yes? That was literally the second worst. I can't believe. Shut up. I died. It was bad, so they would have doped me up. They they do. But it's the four days, after. Four days, two weeks. Well, I'm not going to the river if I'm not with the hurl. Yeah, you're not going to the river. Is that on a Friday? Are you going to do it on a Friday? Are you doing it on a Thursday? It's a Thursday, Thursday, you're not going to the all right? Well you're not going to the river. All right? So anyway, unless unless I drive, go to YouTube at L l H Underscore podcast. Enjoy this clip and we'll see you next week. I get told a lot I don't look like a Navy seal, but that's because no one really knows what a Navy seal looks like. The reason I got through it is because we ninety nine percent of us, we're just people that just get it. Positive attitude, wake up with them, be positive, you know, wake up, make your bed, do your thing on time. I had an instructor at seal training tell me, this course is regardless of what you've been told, this course is not impossible. People graduate. Look at me. I'm living proof. So I'm never gonna ask you to do anything impossible, but I will make you do something very hard. Follow by something very hard, follow by something very hard, day after day after day for eighth st eight months. And that sounds like a lot to get from now to eight months from now. But don't think about it that way. That's not how you achieve a long term goal. I want you to do it like this. Wake up in the morning on time, make your bed the right way, brush your teeth, little victories, make it to the five am workout on time. Don't think about the pain. Concentrate on your next goal, which is breakfast after breakfast, make it to lunch after lunch, make it to dinner after dinner. Do everything you need to do to get back inside that perfectly made bed because you took the time in the morning to make your bed the right way. Regardless of how bad today was, which it will be bad. Tomorrow's a clean slate and a fresh start. And when you feel like quitting, which you will do, not quit now. Quit tomorrow. That's life. He gave me great advice for life, and he also told me it doesn't matter what you look like where you're from. If you keep a positive at it, you can do anything you want. The best advice you gave me before hell week was you're about to go to war for the first time, and your enemy is all your doubts, all your fears, and everyone you know back home that told you weren't good enough to do this. Keep your head down, keep moving forward no matter what, Never quit, and you'll be fine,
