You're listening to Life, Liberty, Happiness. And I am taking over today because of our fearless leader is gone. And we'll get into that in just a second. But say hello to Emma over there. Hello. And back for, I was trying to figure out when it was last time you were here. It was probably about a year ago. Yeah. Somewhere around there. You guys will recognize that youthful voice, Travis Baxter. It's lovely to be back. Good to have you back. Are we live, Emma? It's loading. I was wondering what's going on there. Prepping stream. Yep. So Brian is off this week, as he discussed last week. He's actually off for a couple weeks. He and Ashley are going to celebrate their... 20th anniversary in Alaska. Congratulations, Brian, on making it to 20. Excellent, excellent stuff. And we are live. Are we live? Yes, I got it. We are live now. Do we want to start all over and say hey to Brian? Hello, Brian. Hey, Brian. Thanks for letting me fill in. We're glad to have you. We are live in the Counts Realty and Auction Towers here in beautiful Bedford, Virginia. Hey, Emma. Yeah. Have you talked to Woody any? The new thing that he's building in his house back there. Does that mean we're moving the studio to his place? No, we're not graced with that. To the Watts Cottage? You haven't heard any of that yet? We're not graced with that. We don't get to go. Oh, okay. The other guy that has like 122,000 subscribers gets to go. Oh, really? Yes. You got to build something near him, though, right? Yeah. I wonder if I could do it remotely, like do the show from there and y'all be here. Just a thought. Throw that out there to Woody. So you don't have to come all the way out here. Yep. So you can visit countsauction.com. As we all know, it's the only true form of selling and buying. Do an auction. Go to an auction. Watch an auction. They're fun. We are up to 206 subscribers that YouTube made our summer goal. And last week, thanks, big shout out to Jeff Rupert, we had our largest live view and rewatched view. in 2026. So good stuff. So you got big shoes to fill this week, Travis. I know. He brought it last week with college football. Yeah, yeah. And you were listening and adding, and I know you're probably going to jump in with a few errors and omissions that we had as we get into sports. You're chomping at the bit. I can see it. I can't wait. I can't wait. All right. Let's just get right into it. A little backwards and forwards. Let's go. All right, so this is what we are doing, what we did last weekend, what we plan to do this weekend. And I guess I could, I guess Brian, I don't know what he did last weekend. And he didn't go to Pulaski because he told me about the race from home. He called me. I think he was bored because he called me and called Caitlin to go shopping. What? Yeah. Was he trying to get you to pick out some Alaskan garb? I don't know. He wanted me to go to the farmer's market for him. Because he won't drive out to the forest to him. What did you get? I was on the way to West Virginia. He was like, oh, I forgot. Gotcha. Well, what did you do last weekend? You went to West Virginia? Went to West Virginia. I went skiing. Oh, that's right. It wasn't Claytor Lake. What's the name of the lake? Bluefield? Bluestone Lake. Bluestone. Mm-hmm. It was beautiful. Did you have fun? Mm-hmm. I did a lot of skiing. Are you a good water skier? Yeah, I slalom. You slalom? Yeah. That's impressive. I've never. I mean, I've skied and surfed and whatnot, but slalom, I've never actually attempted. And you do the wakeboarding, right? You do it behind the boat, whatever they call that? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I've done wakeboarding before. I'm more of a, they do wake surfing. Surfing. It's a little bit slower. It's about, you know, you're going about 10, 11 miles an hour. You said you've skied? I have, but I looked like a scared cat when I was doing it. I was all hunched over and everything. What age did you start skiing? What was the speed? Three weeks ago? Okay, never mind. I've been skiing since I was like four. And then I learned to slalom when I was like 12. Yeah, that's Madeline. Madeline, she's been up at the lake for her entire life. So they've always had the boats and they go skiing and whatnot. And then when the wake surfing came out, that's what I mainly did. But we didn't have that type of boat until... Last weekend, they surprised Madeline. Her uncle bought a boat. Wow. So surprised Madeline. She cried then. She didn't cry when I proposed to her, but she cried then because this has been a big deal. Now we're looking at surfboards, which are not cheap. It's probably cheaper than the boat. Definitely cheaper than the boat. They took care of me on that one. What was the boat name? What kind of boat was it? So it's a Centurion. A Centurion? Yep. I'm not sure how old it is or anything like that, but I know, you know, it's a Centurion. They think highly of that in the wake surfing world. Okay. So where, I mean, you know, I get to use it, so I'm thrilled to death. Yeah. Whose boat do you use, Emma? We have boats down there. You do? At the lake, we have two boats down there. Oh. Well, we had three this time, so we were all skiing. That's fun. Now, I can't get up on one ski. That's a different kind of breed. So my college roommate, Shout out to Warren. He was like a champion barefoot skier. Really? And so back in the days where we had videotapes, like you put the VHS tapes in, I still remember this. He put that thing in like this is what he was doing. And to go barefoot skiing, apparently the boat has to go really, really fast. So it's like you're on ice and concrete. And dude, when he wiped out, I thought he was dead. I mean, it looked like he's doing cartwheels. It's painful. That's why I don't like skiing, because that's going like 26, 25, 26 miles an hour. It hurts. Oh, it is. My ski fell off, went backwards, and I went headfirst. Oh, good grief. Yeah, you're locked in. You're locked into skis and wakeboards. Why do you do that to yourself? Because once you stay up, it's fun. Surfboard's way better. 10, 11 miles an hour, nothing locked in. Just have a lot of fun. Throw you a beer while you're surfing. We've done that a time or two. Fireball shots, something like that. Oh, wow, cool. Pretty good, pretty good. So what are you doing this weekend, Emma? I'm dog sitting for everybody and their mother for. The next month. Well, not for Ginger and Val. Because I'm already dog sitting for two people this weekend. I've got to get on your calendar. I know you do. I've got a busy, busy fall, so you've got to let me know your open dates because it's going. To be— None of September. None of September? I think I'm free two dates the entire month. Oh, wow. I guess everybody goes out of town. Yeah. I've got wedding season planned. All that stuff coming up. Your sound is up. Trent, your sound is up. What does that mean? On your phone. Is it? Again? Cut that thing off. Can you hear that echo? I can hear it. I couldn't hear it, so that's a pretty good ear. You know what? I think I cut it up for the phone call right before we got on air. Anyway. Last weekend, I had told everybody I was heading to Highland to go shoot weapons. That did not work out. So instead, Marty and I used the open Saturday to go to the wineries and had a fantastic time. Pausing for Emma's and her picture. So we hit– and if you know these wineries, do you do the wineries much at all? We– I don't do wineries too much. Which wineries kind of do you work up towards? Charlottesville. We started Pippin Hill. Pippin Hill. So we can get lunch there. It's really, really good food, good wine. I've been there a couple times for a wedding, actually. My buddy Connor, he got married at Pippin Hill. Oh, okay. Partless? Mm-hmm. Oh, very cool. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's so weird to hear you guys get married. I just remember coaching against you guys. You know what's crazy? Is Connor has a child. Oh, wow. Yeah. So he's got like a, I guess, a couple months old now. Oh. And that's season two, man. It's coming on me pretty hard seeing these people growing up. That's right. So we did Pippin Hill. We went to King's Family Vineyard. Julie Rupert was having an event there. She was doing Julie Rupert events, a wedding there. She was doing a wedding there. We went by there, and she snuck in a drink or two with us. And then Marty and I went over to Hazy Mountain and Veritas. And then there's a place called— Blue Mountain Brewery. Yes. And they fed us and it was so good. That's up to 151, isn't it? Yes. Okay. So we just kind of circled around. I see. Yeah. Because I was like, man, he was up in Charlottesville. Yeah. But he went to King's Vineyard. I've been to that one. And then, well, King's is where they do the polo at, right? Yeah. So I've been there once. And then Hazy Mountain looks like Little Italy, kind of up on that mountaintop. It is completely like that. Yeah. So I've been there once. This was all a couple years ago, just little weekend day trips. Yeah. And Veritas kind of, I think, put that area on the map as far as wineries go. And it's gorgeous there. And they have these things called Starry Nights, which we weren't there for that. But they do these summer shows there. And last time we went there, I think it was last year, they had one of those drone firework type things. Oh, that's cool. So cool. Yeah. Yeah, started nice. Good program out there for Veritas. It's fun. So did you do anything last weekend? Well, last weekend we got the new boat. So we went up Saturday. We went up in the morning, or I guess we got up in the evening on Friday. And then they told, her uncle told their younger children that, uh, that they got the boat. We went up there and we just surfed for like five, six straight hours, burned a ton of fuel. Um, and then Sunday, um, Madeline's cousin was actually, um, got her Eagle Scout. So we went to the ceremony and everything like that where she did her project. Um, and we did that on Sunday. Wow. So cool. Low key weekend. Yeah. And this weekend, uh, Marty and I are headed to near Charlotte. Another kid that I coached, Brock Swaney, is getting married. He's really? Yep. And my son Perry is in the wedding with Brock. So we're going to go down and watch that and then probably hang out with my buddy Warren in Greensboro on Saturday night. So big plans for us. Anybody got big stuff coming up? Oh, she's working. You got work coming up. You just settle down, lay down. Labor Day weekend. Yeah. Oh, I forgot about that. Yeah, Labor Day weekend. So Thursday night I'm going to go smoke cigars with a buddy of mine. Oh. Friday, my dad comes in town. Oh, cool. I think he gets in late Friday. He should come in Thursday. That's our fantasy draft. Is it really? Yeah, he should take off. Well, I don't know. He might be able to take off. Yeah. And then I think we're going to go watch the Brookville football game. Okay. Just because her cousins, that's where they go. They cheer for it. So I figured I want to go to a high school football game, go over there. Saturday, dove hunt starts up on Saturday at noon. So we'll watch the Bama game at 12 and go hunt at 3.30 after Bama has it well in hand. Yeah. Hopefully. Yeah. And then Sunday, Monday is lake day. Probably go up Saturday night to the lake and hang out. Okay. So I got an action pack weekend. Hope it's not too hot to go out there hunting. It's a little bit. I know. And I'm going to be wearing shorts. Oh, my gosh. It is so freaking hot. So let's see. Let's go, I guess, on this day in history. We'll jump right in that. 1977. 1977. Do you guys know what the Voyager spacecraft is? Have you guys heard of this thing? We've heard of it. So the Voyager spacecraft was launched in 1977. It was only supposed to last a couple years. It is still going strong. It is like past Pluto. What's it doing? It's literally just measuring things. It's voyaging. And I think the last photo it took was past Jupiter. Fairly. So it made it all the way out past that. Like, that's what they had hoped to do. And it made it to Jupiter in the first two years, right? Wow. Which is kind of crazy when you think about it. And then, let's see. They pulled up there. Yeah, so it left in 77. It made it to Jupiter in 79. Saturn in 1980. So they thought, okay, it's just going to die. And you know what's powering it? Uranium. Is it really? So it's the stuff that we power ships with and that we can't make. nuclear energy out of because our country won't do it. And that thing is still going. And it's just like this Volkswagen size vehicle. And on the outside, I was reading a little bit about it on the outside. It has a record like strapped to it. Really? So in case an alien happens to catch it and it's like, and if it can play the album, it's got, it's got like Mozart and Beethoven, but it also has Chuck Berry. That's an album by Chuck Berry. You guys probably know who that is. That's ancient technology. Yeah. And so it's 16 billion miles away. Good God. Wow. And it says this time next year it will be one, I think, light day away. How long it takes a light to travel in a day. So I thought that was kind of cool. Hmm. You got any history? Oh, I got a list of it. All right. Cool. Bring it. So in 45, World War II formally ended. Yeah. This is like when Japan signed the surrender documents. Yeah. 69, the first ATM in the United States was installed. Oh, say, back up just a little bit. Yeah. 1945. I saw something the other day, and I'm going to play it on one of the TikTok shout outs that we have. It's like coincidences in life, like these weird things that happen. And, you know, we dropped two bombs to end the war that you just brought up. So, in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. There's a guy that survived both. Really? He was from Nagasaki. And he was in Hiroshima for work. And when the bomb went off, he dove under a desk and lived. But he was, like, messed up enough that he couldn't keep working. And literally he said he couldn't keep working. Like, he was still going to go to work the next day or whatever. But he must have had to go to work. Back home to Nagasaki. He's in Nagasaki when the next bomb goes off. And dove again and survived that one. Wow. Yeah, isn't that crazy? Poor guy. Two-time survivor. Yeah, yeah. All right, so what was your second one? Just the first ATM. Oh, really? What year was that? That was in 69. 69. Chemical Bank, Rockville Center, New York. Yeah. And then there's a note that was discovered on the Titanic. Oh, really? Yeah. I can't verify that one. I'm sorry. Nailed it. The wreck was located by Ballard and Michael Expedition around September 1st, 1985. Useful history topic, but be careful using it if it's a strict September 2nd anniversary. Don't worry about it. So, roundabout. Yeah, close to it. That was close. 1985, a note was found on the Titanic. Help. Wow. So that was the history you brought. Anything else? Yeah. Well, I think that was actually the discovery note. Like they didn't find a note down there that said help or anything. They discovered it and they basically recorded it, I guess, that they found it. Top five most overrated movies of all time. Right now you're throwing that on us right now? No, no. I'm saying the Titanic. Oh, yeah. I was about to say, I didn't see that on the agenda here. You guys are so, this is what I love about doing this show with you guys. Did you even see the Titanic? Oh, yeah, I've seen it. So we had it where at my house, the movie was so long that it broke it up into two cassettes. Yeah. Oh, okay. I just remember that specifically. But yes, I've seen the Titanic a time or two. Yeah. So back then, I was not a Leonardo DiCaprio fan. It was like, I just could not stand that movie. And it was like so long. I was like, come on, let's just get to the ship going down. Yeah. Those graphics were pretty cool. Yeah. But yeah, I wasn't a big fan. I thought it was an overrated thing. But we'll have to do that at Mount Rushmore. There you go. Of overrated movies. Top five most overrated movies. We'll do that next week, Chris. And speaking of which, this week's Mount Rushmore is going to be Coaching Hirings. That's a good one. Just a generic, just whoever comes to your mind is like that great coaching hire, top five. So we'll get into that when we get there. Emma, did you get your top five written? Your Mount Rushmore? Sure. Coaching hires. Well, you got about a half an hour to get them down, jotted down. All right. On to drama. All right. So this time of year, There's no sports, really, to speak of. Yeah, that July, after hockey and basketball ends, like that whole month of July and August is a little rough. You got golf on. I'm a decent baseball fan. It's hard to. Sit there and watch it. Do you watch Little League? No, I can't stand that. I literally just can't stand it. Because it's not how you used to coach. These coaches are soft. No, no. Not that so much. The exploitation... of literally let it be just little league and don't put it on TV. I just think it affects everything. Yeah. And you know, it just, I just am not a fan of it. So I haven't been a big follower of literally, are they doing the little league world series now? They already did it. Yeah. Carousel one. Okay. They beat, uh, yeah, I think it was Nevada. So the U S lost. The U S did lose. The U S hadn't won one in a while. I don't feel. Yeah. Maybe it might've won it last year. So I'm picking it up now with sports because the U S open and started tennis. So I'm a pretty decent U.S. Open fan, so I watched a little bit of that last night. Although what's funny is I had no idea they had the, like, number one rank up. Do you know who the number one seed would be in the U.S. Open? Center? See, that's what I thought, too. I think he must be injured. Alcaraz? I didn't even see. So Alcaraz is two. It's that German guy. Yeah. It's the— Medved. Yeah. I'd never heard of this dude before. And it's like, if he makes the semifinals of the U.S. Open— It's only been done a handful of times, although Djokovic has done it like 17 times. made the semifinals of every slam event oh wow from the season so I never even heard of this dude yeah so he looked like he was pretty good and I'm not a center fan I just Anybody but him. I do like Alcarez, and Alcarez has now grown his hair out. It's like the dude just keeps messing with you. He looks like Pete Sampras now with his locks coming out of his head. He was buzz cut, which I thought was pretty good. So sports is picking up. So drama, this week I had like a few things to watch. And tell me if you've seen any of these. Have you guys jumped in? And these are all Netflix because I really just always go to Netflix first. I'm a documentary fan. But Death of a Pastor's Wife. Have you guys seen it? I haven't, no. I'm not an avid documentary watcher. I mean, they've got the Saban documentary out now we'll touch on. If it's Alabama only. If it's Alabama only or something cool about like World War I, World War II. Because those intrigue me. Aside from that, I have a hard time, especially about the death of a pastor's wife. So I wouldn't necessarily, I don't know if that's what you would call a documentary. It's like one of those docudramas or whatever. They talk about the history and it's more. Murder and what was behind it and that type of thing. And this one was, dude, this pastor is just nutso. He's like, um, first he cheats on his wife with a lady who's 10 years younger than him. And she's barely of age. I think she might be 21 years old. And then, so the church somehow sticks together, even though that happened, it was like turmoil in the church. Then he fools around on her. And somehow this dude is making these sermons that is talking about loyalty to your husband is number one, no matter what. And he's gaslighting this woman that she's crazy. He literally takes her to these institutions for her to be evaluated. Oh, my goodness. It is really unbelievable. You watch odd things. Odd things? You're saying I do watch odd things or you're asking if I have watched odd things? No, you do watch. Okay. If you look at the top 10, it is number one for like two weeks. So I'm not the only one watching this thing. I've watched the Black Hawk Down documentary with Trent. That was badass. That was, what, three, four episodes? Yeah, it was, my dad was in town. It was Daytona, got rained out. Okay. And so we were, Trent was like, you know. That's when they gave the story from like both vantage points, right? Yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That was awesome. And then the second one I watched, have you seen the Vince Young untold stories? I haven't. Dude, was he– he was probably a hero just before your. He was like, what, 05, 06? Yeah. They won national championship the year before Alabama, so 08. Okay. Well, no, because didn't Tebow in Florida win it in 08? It was like I was six-ish. So I was a little younger, probably four or five. He was what was really cool. I was upset about it because I was a USC fan. I mean, not that I ever was a USC fan, but the college football elevated to stratospheric level because of USC. They were three years undefeated, and they were the show. It was like probably Golden State when Golden State was like. Having a couple year run. Yeah. And it was must-see TV, even off the field, everything they were doing. Pete Carroll, Matt Leiner, all these guys. They were in the news all the time just because celebrities had to be around them. So it was like the L.A. Lakers when it was like Tinseltown, all that stuff going on. So it was so good. But then you had this guy, Vince Young, that was invincible, and he was– And you didn't know. And it was a matchup. And I guarantee you it's got to be top five college football game of all time watched. It might be number one, actually. In the national championship? Yeah. So they finally face each other and both are undefeated. Yeah. And so you got to watch. I mean, this guy is just, he didn't win the Heisman. He lost at Reggie Book. Yeah. And he's like. I will show you. Yeah. Weren't they down like 14? Oh, yeah. They were down late in the game, like fourth quarter. Yeah. And here's what's crazy is I still remember that's when I went to bed because I did not want to see a comeback. I would rather go to bed with the lead and wake up and found out I didn't win, so I had to watch the news the next day to figure out how he did it. Couldn't just roll over and check your phone. Yeah. But I will say the documentary was– There was a coach, Jeff Fisher, who coached in the NFL for a long time, different teams. And he was the Titans coach. And they drafted Vince Young. And it was a spike draft. So the owner wanted Vince Young for a spiteful reason. Jeff Fisher did not want Vince Young. He wanted Jay Cutler. And it's almost like he takes it out on him the entire time that he's at the Titans. And totally ruined his career. Yeah, because he was playing while I was growing up watching football and understanding it. So he was playing for the Titans. I remember watching him play. I probably have a player card of him right now. But I never remember him being anything special. Yeah. And maybe if he'd had better mentoring, probably could have been invincible. But he just had some bad leadership growing up. And his only mentor was Steve McNair. And I don't know if you've seen that documentary. That's an eye-opening documentary. He gets murdered in his own apartment. Right. Yeah, with his side chick. That's a pretty good documentary, too. And it doesn't stop there. I got another one, too. Did you watch these all this weekend? Yeah, yeah. Well, all week. I was prepping for the show. That's a documentary per night. Yeah. Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. Yeah, and I'm into that one. There was one called, I've got another one last night, but. we'll see how the show goes, whether I go back to that one. I'll use it for next week if I have to. I still got to figure out next week's show. I forgot Brian's not there. Yeah, he's gone two weeks. A shooting at Hawthorne Hill. And the best way I can tell you that is it is crazy versus crazy. And a lady gets shot. And by the end of the documentary, you would have shot her too. She gets on your nerves so damn bad. But then the dude that shot her is also whacked in the head. And you think, well, certainly he's going to jail. But he pleads insanity. So you don't know. I mean, he is insane. When did it take place? Let's see. He was in the Olympics in the 80s, I think. So it must have been somewhere around the 90s that the shooting happened. So I don't know. It is incredible. And I had never heard that story at all. I just loved it. I will spend, it drives Marty crazy. I will spend more time watching trailers of something than I will watching something. We are aware of that. You know how long it took us to settle on Black Hawk Down documentary? Well, you got to make sure you want to watch what you want to watch. It's the next thing you're going to see that you might be interested in. You got any drama? Anything you've been watching? I'm going to put you on to this. Okay. Hawk. Hawk? Hawk. H-A-W-K? H-A-W-K. Will Ferrell. Oh, you know what? I've seen that. Did a TV show as a bum golfer. Yeah. Coming back. It's almost Happy Gilmore 2-esque. Yeah. I thought it was, the trailer looked too goofy for me to like it. It's goofy. Yeah. It's Will Ferrell. You know, it's comedy. That one and then Free Bert. Free Bert? Yeah, that's on Netflix too there. Oh, is that the guy that goes around without a shirt on? The comedian guy? It's funny because the whole season is about him finding himself not being the person that people recognize without a shirt. Oh, okay. So it's funny that you brought that up. Chad Powers comes out Friday. What is that? Did you ever watch the Chad Powers with Eli Manning? He goes into like a practice. Oh, is that the dude that's, he's under a disguise? Yes. Okay. And he's a professional quarterback or a really good quarterback. Well, they made a TV show about it with Glenn Powell. Okay. And he's, you know, a former Oregon quarterback, blew it, ended up, I can't remember if they had eligibility or not, but he went in under, you know, put a mask on and went in under Chad Powers. So it's been like little YouTube shorts. Okay. They did it with Jared Goff too at like some low level tournaments. D2, D3, college. Okay. So watch the little shorts so it makes sense, and then watch season one, six episodes. Season two comes out Friday. I'm sure that'll probably be out in six episodes. Who's the quarterback they're using? Glenn Powell. Okay. So he's just an actor. Okay. He's not an actual quarterback. Okay. And you can kind of tell, but he's just a normal actor. Okay. I thought the premise of that, though, was some dude just comes in and just starts– slinging it. Yeah out of nowhere that was they that's how they kind of play it you know for tv is like hey this guy was some was a great ruined himself because he like kicked a kid or something like that he lost the game and kicked a kid or i can't remember exactly what it was and um then he's on the up come back he took a couple years off i guess okay and then slid back in to SEC school. I'll have to check it out. So it's called Free... No, no. You said Freebird. What's the name of this one? Chad Powers. Chad Powers. I got so much time on my hands to be watching things. Although we got. College football is coming back. All Friday, all Saturday. It'll be hard to watch any of these things now. Are they doing anything on Sunday? Yeah, we'll get to that in sports. I'm glad you brought that up. We'll get into that. So, the next thing is a TikTok shout-out. So, this guy... You have to have a little... So, Travis, it's going to be a little hard to watch from your angle. I can see it. This guy's name, the description of the title of the guy on TikTok is called Daldos, D-A-L-D-O-E-S. He's got 94,000 followers, one and a half million likes. And when I first started seeing this guy, let's say a few months ago, he's just taken off. And the premise of this is something weird happens. And you know how we talk about reading the comments and how they're hilarious? Like, I love our TikTok comments. They are just freaking hilarious. And we should do something like this. But what this guy does, he puts the comments to music. And so it's like an AI voice. That's funny. And so you see the first clip, and then you start hearing the comments from the music. And I'll describe this as, this was for Emma when I saw this, because you've got to take a look at this chihuahua with his fangs out and then hear what the comments are. You have to. Have a little more patience with me and not throw yourself out of the bed, okay? A dog with cerebral palsy. Man, your taxidermy is moving. If dogs could talk, you would say, please put me out of my misery. If Ren and Stimpy had a baby, is that the squirrel from Ice Age? Maybe that dog died three years ago. You're trying to go meet his maker, and you won't let him. Where did she dig him up from? Just don't feed it after midnight. Is he mixed with squirrels? The baby was going to be with the Lord. And you are interrupting that the dog was just trying to escape the sunlight before it has his next blood snack when the sun goes down. Your taxidermy is moving. Can they see this on the live stream? Can they see this? Yes. Okay. Yeah, she brings that up. So we do that now. We have moved on in our technological advances here. But that's the premise of this. So every time you scroll one, Sometimes I'll see what the first clip looks like, like right here. If you look, there's Brian on a motorcycle. I'm just kidding. Oh, my. No, no, don't play that one. That was the comment I was going to make. So I just catch these things, and they just crack me up. You do feel bad for some of them, but. Poor dog. Yeah. What's the black guy? This one? Mm-hmm. All right, guys. Do you know I just read you? That's good. That's the premise of it. I'm telling you, they are hilarious. And I can get into... the rabbit hole with those things and go one after another and just laugh out loud. So that's a tick tock shout out to Dow does. These are all practically the same related topic, but these are the TDS News headline of ABC, NBC, and CBS. And I will say this, though. If you watch, do either of you watch regular news anymore, like it's 6.30? No, I see Fox News on my Facebook feed, and that's where I get my news from. That's where your news is from, unless this show. And this show. I double down. Fox News maybe two, three times a week. If you ever watch ABC News, I have a man crush on David Muir. He's the guy that does ABC News. He's the most incredible talent, I think, in news. He's got the best voice. And he does a monologue. Tucker Carlson used to have a great monologue. But right at the beginning of ABC News, he just takes off. And it's like he tells you about all the upcoming things that are getting ready to come on the news half hour. And it makes you watch because it's really well done. He's got this great delivering. But if you ever watch it, there's news going on around all the world, and they always lead with a weather event. You know why they do that? I'm still trying to figure out how you fit the news in around all these documentaries. Well, I don't watch it a lot. That's a good point. But do you know why they lead with the weather every week, every night, like literally every night? To kind of relax everybody? No, it's literally to scare you. It is climate change. It is to reinforce that we have climate change. Like we've never had fires before and like we've never had heat waves before. But every night, I guarantee you if you watch tonight, there will be something about the heat wave going across the South. It's just something I've noticed. Just try to watch that. And if you're there to watch David Muir, I still watch him, but because of my man crush. So headline from ABC News. After launching strikes, U.S. warns of escalations if Iran responds. So Brian talks about this all the time. Like the news headlines are headlines, but it's not like the news has corroborated the story. So this is a good one. NBC News. It's about the same event. U.S. Has launched large and powerful strikes on Iran, Trump says. And Brian's point all the time is, well, why is that your headline? If you're the news, wouldn't it be just end that U.S. has launched large and powerful strikes on Iran? Like, if you're the news, why wouldn't that just be the news, right? They've got to make it a Trump says that we did. Like, it may not be true. And then CBS News, Trump says new U.S. strikes on Iran is in retaliation for sea mines and targeting bases. So that's your headlines. All has to do with Iran and the strikes. Have you seen the new clips today coming out? Like the Navy has fallen apart under Trump. I'm sure that's what they want you to think. Because of the rust. Yeah. There's the aircraft carrier that's been out to sea for so many months has rust on it as it's coming back into the sea. Wow. And they're making it sound like that the ship has fallen apart, which I'm a little bit concerned about that i thought the navy has a permanent painter all the time like literally they do that so that it won't rust so maybe they've just been. All hands on all hands on deck the painter's got his machine gun. Yeah so maybe that's what's going on but so that's your news headlines let's jump into sports it's time for sports. All right. So we had kind of the kickoff to college football last week. Week zero, I guess they're calling it. Did you see any craziness go on last week? No. Anything jump out at you? Well, no. UVA walking the dog on NC State. That was shocking. That was shocking just because I didn't think they had that type of offense. Yeah. That quarterback might be the real deal. He might be if he can, you know, take them into Blacksburg and Beat the Hokies. Yeah. They'll solidify his greatness and build him a statue. Yeah. So, I didn't realize, and I made a mistake last week when I was talking about it because they played NC State the year before and said that they were going to continue the series against NC State even though it wasn't an ACC game last year. That's what I was about to ask. Wasn't it not a conference game last year? It was not a conference game last year. Because it was like they had scheduled a non-conference opponent. Yeah. But then they said, well, we're not playing NC State. So, do you want to just take that spot as a non-conference game. Yeah it was one of those things that fell through the crack because of all the numbers of the teams changing they added stanford and smu and and cal so that was one of those things where they could have dropped each other but they act like they still liked playing each other so they still did it and then this year if you recall They played it at Charlottesville, which was a surprise because they were supposed to play in Brazil. So I thought it was going to be more of like an exhibition non-conference game. But it turned out that was a conference game that was supposed to kick off the conference. Oh, wow. Yeah. So UVA is winning the ACC after week one. And I, too, was shocked by. The— Wait, hang on. Oh, yeah, because they have a conference win. Yeah. Sorry. I was like, UNC played, but they played TCU. That's right. So Virginia's at the top. So maybe they can hold on the whole rest of the year. And we needed to give a shout-out to Rupert making that. That was his lock. That was his lock? Mm-hmm. The UNC game or the UVA game? The NC State Virginia game was his lock. And then I think his lock this week is JMU. I need to go back and try to find where he sent that. I think that was our group text. Yeah, that was with all of us. And you guys started going so many texts. I'm like, I can't keep up with that. Well, Brian just didn't like my lock, my upset of the week. Yeah. And then I did have two parlays last week, knowing that the lock was going to be TCU beating UNC. So I lost both parlays because of one game. Oh, I was so mad. So I could not believe that one. That was kind of a shock to me. And I guess Bill Belichick, maybe that's the coaching hire that we'll all look back on and go, wow, that might have been something really good. Yeah, well, we shall see. Yep. Week two, these are the prime matchups, which is really cool because obviously college football is taking advantage of the NFL not starting. You know anything about, which is crazy in my mind, and it may be to yours too, but that the NFL is like 10 times larger in ratings than anything that college football does. Really? So like when I used to watch PTI all the time, they always, and they talked about this on the show and away from the show, you always lead with the NFL. And so PTI, if they do it during the football season, they lead with the NFL. Even during the offseason they will because it's so big. So it looks like college is taking advantage of– they get one weekend before– another weekend before it really gets big, before the NFL starts. So it starts tomorrow night. I want to hear what your thoughts are on these matchups. And it doesn't even have to be football related. It could be anything related. But Colorado at Georgia Tech is tomorrow night. Any thoughts? Yeah. That's kind of a tough one. I like the coaching staff at Georgia Tech. I'm not so fond of the coaching staff at Colorado. I mean, I like prime time as a guy, but I think it's all about not football to them. So that's just why I say, hey, you're creating not a negative culture, but just a culture that's not going to win football games and bring you to a championship. There. So I like Georgia Tech at that one, especially being at home. Oh, yeah. Yeah, that's going to be tough. I mean, I love prime time, but he sometimes is his own worst enemy. Yeah, there's nothing wrong with him. I just don't know. You know, they got their Instagram names on the back of their practice jerseys. Oh, really? Who's doing that? He's creating a me, me, me society. Yeah, well, that is actually, that was him to a T. However, Really good dude through and through. And he could be another one of those guys. Maybe he's a genius and we just don't know it yet. I don't know. It's not genius to retire your son's number after he, you know. That drove me crazy. He does some decisions that just makes me. I mean, they had a lot of hype that one year. Would they go nine and four that one year? Like his first or second year? And then Shador's junior year, I guess, is what it would have been. Yeah. I mean, look. He went to Jacksonville State, right? Yeah. That's where his kid went. Do you think if his kid had an offer from Alabama or Georgia or a big SEC school, he would have gone to Jacksonville State with his daddy? Yeah. Well, yes, I do. Really? Mm-hmm. Well, he got the number one pick of the whole NCAA, who ended up being the number one pick in the NFL. Oh, well, Travis Hunter, yeah. Yeah, yeah. I get that. Yeah. I get that. He's a solid cat. I mean, honestly, they did it the right way. They took it and made themselves into a top 20 program in the NCAA going to the Colorado. They did. I'll give them props on that. It'll be interesting to see what they end up doing, and I hope he can end up resurrecting it. But I'm a little worried that he may not even be there in two years. I'm skeptical, to say the least. So then we got some games on Friday night. We have Miami at Stanford, which that doesn't sound like it would be a great game, but it is interesting that it Sid at Stanford and this time of year I never know if that really means at Stanford or if they're playing somewhere else but it did say Miami at Stanford and Fresno State at USC and the reason I think that's intriguing is USC has taken a really big hit and I told you that they were they were the show in the 2000s there was nobody at the game last week in their opener I. Saw that that was it was embarrassing yeah I mean who they played last week it was a nobody they Beat the tar out of them. It was a nobody. It was like San Jose State or somebody like that. So it was a nobody. But still, I mean. It was San Jose State. You're USC. You should be. I mean, if Notre Dame is playing Ball State, you're going to have more people than that. Well, yeah. I mean, tickets are cheaper. Yeah. You know, whatnot. But I guess college football doesn't really kick in on the West Coast. Yeah. Maybe they just need to see some wins. They seem to be one of those fickle crowds that want to make sure they're In the top five before they start showing up. And then Saturday, we have ECU at Bama. Got any thoughts on that? We're going to see the birth of greatness. Okay. Of Keylon Russell. Keylon Russell? Keylon Russell. Okay. He's got a lot of potential. He's like a very good mix of a Milrow, a Jalen Milrow, and a Ty Simpson. He's got a live arm is what they say. Is Ty with the Rams? He is with the Rams. He had a good preseason, but he's a little– I think he just gets real nervous. That was a problem we had. All right, so I got this for you. I was trying to pull this up. So I want you to hear this and see if this bothers you any. Let's see if I can play that. I didn't send it to Emma. You can write this down in big, bold letters. We won this game tonight on the last play of the game last week. Can you write that down? Because when you're at East Carolina, you. Go for it every time. You don't coach at East Carolina. You don't come to East Carolina. You don't play at East Carolina with a weak heart. Write it. Thanks. Precious. Does that bother you? No, it doesn't. You know, you don't have to have, you know, you can have all the heart in the world and no talent and you're still going to lose. I mean, it takes me back to probably 2018, 17, 18. It had to have been probably 17 because Jalen Hurts was the starter and the cat from Vanderbilt, the big Hawaiian guy was the linebacker at Vanderbilt. He said, you know, Alabama, you're next. And a little fruity voice. Yeah. And that, Didn't end too well. So, you know, different culture. Probably shouldn't talk trash to Alabama. It is a different culture now, though. People wouldn't have dared done it beforehand. But now it's just a little bit different. I hope that coach can survive and thrive. I like that guy. I think he will. He's just got to get his recruits, his system in. And I think people are writing him off a little early. Of course. I mean, it's only his third year. Yeah. Look at Nick Saban, his first two years. He had the same exact record. Oh, okay. His first two years. Look at you bringing it. Nailing the stats. I love it. All right. Let's see. We got Oregon State at Houston. We have Boise State at Oregon. Any matchup there, Boise State and Oregon? You think Boise State's any good? No, they, I mean, well, about 50. I think it is. They don't have, I mean, who's their quarterback? Do you know? No idea. Yeah, they didn't have, what was it, Mattson when they were in the college football playoff? Okay. And then they had Jaunty. But, you know, you look back at that first 12 man playoff, their fourth seed, they were the four seed, but who, I mean, they played a close game. I think they were legitimately a threat that year. Cause they played close game with Oregon. Um, but nowadays, I mean, they had to have two good players and Johnson was just the dude. He was a dude. Yeah. Hoping I can get him in the draft tomorrow night. Um, You should go for Josh Jacobs. What about... I will write that down. Josh Jacobs is probably not going to play a minute for the rest of the year. Apparently... Have you seen the film yet? I haven't seen the film. I'm sure he beat the hell out of whoever it was, though. So apparently there will be footage that's coming out. I guess they're trying to probably ambush the NFL. Well, they put him on the exclusive... Or what is it called? Exempt. So they're a little worried because they didn't handle the Ray Rice incident good at all. And I'm sure the NFL is scared to death about this. video coming out. So apparently it is Ray Rice altogether. Have you ever seen that one? I have. It was in the elevator, right? It's horrible. Yeah, it's pretty bad. Like a P. Diddy type thing. So anyway, how about Oregon? You got any thoughts on them for the college season? football season? I think that they're going to be overrated just like always. Yeah. But they're not, not like in a bad way. I think they're just going to be more overrated. They're always going to be ranked high. They're going to play close games. Yeah. I mean, it's Big Ten football. Kind of like a Texas. You got three good teams in the Big Ten and none of them play each other. Yeah. So, you know, how are you supposed to judge it when you're beating up on Northwestern every week? Yeah. And, you know, Signetti can say all he wants that there's good football teams in the Big Ten. There are. They got a lot of money, and they're able to build a good football team, but they don't play each other. I mean, Ohio State and Michigan are forced to play each other because they hate each other so much. Well, Alabama-Auburn. Clemson at LSU is probably the matchup this weekend. Dots. The rise of Gideon Davidson. Yeah, man. How great would that be? That's why it's my lock for upset. Huh? Going into Death Valley, a place they know so well because that's what the name of Clemson's stadium is, Death Valley. The original one. Yeah, the original, the OG Brian. And you know what? Kiffin, he's good on the play call. Yeah. I don't know. Who's LSU's quarterback this year again? No idea. Exactly. Yeah. That's the problem. So that's the thing about this show. So you will hear something about LSU every week when we actually live in Virginia. And nobody really cares. But Lane Kiffin, I think, that's why I used the Mount Rushmore this week. Who is that coaching hire that just makes you go, of course. I mean, of course that's what you want is that guy. He could change everything for you. Do you really want to know? Do I want to know? I mean, do you want me to say it verbally or do you just want to know? Know what? Who the greatest ever coaching hire is. Oh, no, we can do that in Mount Rushmore. Oh, sorry, sorry, sorry. I'm saying that's why I created that Mount Rushmore is because we could look back at Lane being, of course, that was a great hire. So that could be a guy that could be the next Nick Saban. Potentially. We just waited. If he could stop pissing people off and leaving teams early. That's another guy that gets in his own way sometimes. Yeah, I mean, that's what it was. He got in his own way. I mean, he obviously, USC, he didn't. have the opportunity because he got fired but at Bama he was going to FIU that's fine but if he didn't run his mouth he could have stayed on the staff but he likes making those critical decisions early ever since like what week six last year they were on him about that LSU job because that's when Brian whenever Brian Kelly got fired they were on him and he he kind of cracked under the pressure and you know I don't blame Ole Miss. I would have been fed up with it too. Like, hey, man, our head coach is supposed to be leading this team. Yeah, I would have fired him too. I mean, I would have got rid of him ASAP. Yeah. And then at Tennessee he did something similar, didn't he? Well, at Tennessee I think he left them to go– is that when he went to the Raiders? Like early? Or maybe he went to USC the next one. Just kind of left them behind dry. Yeah, left them behind dry. He keeps doing that. Nobody's going to want to pick him up no matter how good you are. Yeah. Definitely not NFL teams. My guess is he's probably done really well for his own family. I'm sure he has. Making these decisions. I'm sure he has. And he's got some beautiful daughters. The big in-state rivalry we have. VMI at Virginia Tech this weekend. Should be a nail-biter. What do you think Franklin's going to do to this program? I think he has a chance to I don't know if dominate the ACC would be it, but he can definitely be the guy that's up there every year. He can make some noise now. Yeah. Because, I mean, he– I don't know why they fired him at Penn State. Yeah. Having a down year. Yeah. That happens. Yeah. He did take a lot of the talent from Penn State, so, you know, are they going to be the same Penn State? And that's a fan base that just doesn't– you know, it's like Nebraska. Nebraska. Almost exactly like Nebraska was. And Nebraska was dominant in the 90s and the 2000s-ish. And then Osborne leaves, and the next guy comes in, and they're not happy with going 10-2. And so they fire that guy. And they've never been good since they've let Zolich go. So it's like the phrase that keeps catching people is, we can't get over the hump. We can't win the big game. Well, you're in it every year. Yeah, you're in it every year. It's luck. If you ever look at it, it's a game of inches, right? And you just got to have it fall your way. Yeah. And they just don't get that at Penn State. Then Sunday night, we've got, this kind of shocked me, Washington State and Washington. Who do they play for their rivalry game? That was the rivalry game. So why did they play the first game of the year? It was that whole thing about, I guess, Washington went to the, are they in the Big Ten? And Washington State was the only team that stayed in the Pac-12, which was Pac-2. Pac-10 now. Yeah, so they're back to whatever they are. So Washington State and Oregon State stayed in the Pac-2. Washington left, and so I guess because they still want to play each other, so they do it at the beginning of the year? A little odd. I don't know. I wonder who their last game of the year is. Yeah, that's a good question. And then Wisconsin at Notre Dame. That could be a better game than you think. Probably but wisconsin's talent's been down i mean yeah bam and wisconsin played game two three four of the year and i was like well you know who knows and they just crumbled i mean we beat them back to back years by like 28 yeah i'm gonna say 20 and 28. What I like so far is almost every rivalry or every discussion subject we've talked about, you've been able to bring Bama. I tie it back. You've been able to bring Bama. And you actually even wore the colors today. I did. Bama colors. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So I'm able to tie everything back because as long back as I can remember, I have scenarios that I can run through my head. It's like, oh, we're just like that. But yes, I mean— It could be a good game. Notre Dame. It's an interesting matchup for a week one matchup for them. It is. And then Louisville at Ole Miss. I mean, that actually could have bowl series ramifications. It could. You know? It could. I think Ole Miss is going to be solid because they've got– You like the coach? I like Golden. I like him. He was good when he was– sorry. He was good when he was at Bama. Yeah. He was a solid defensive coordinator. Not the best in the world, but I think he brings a good culture. Like the way he rallied those dudes last year. I kind of liked it. It's us against the world mentality. Yeah, so he's going to bring that right in there this year. And, you know, I can't wait. They play LSU, win. He seems like, it's almost like when Ed Orgeron went to LSU. There's just certain guys that fit the persona of the school they're in. And he seems to be that guy that fits that Ole Miss style. Yeah, I mean, Aaron Stam will tell you. He knows him from recruiting and whatnot. He said he was just a good old boy. Yeah. So, I mean, it feels like the right kind of fit there for an Ole Miss guy. And then we've got a Monday night game. And actually, that is a really good, interesting matchup, too, in the ACC is SMU. And back to Louisville, that's who Jeff picked to win the ACC. But he said right there it's supposed to be SMU. So, we've got SMU at FSU. Yeah. And that's going to be an interesting matchup because Norville loses that one to start the year off. I don't know why they hadn't fired him. Isn't that crazy? When they threw a fit about not getting in the four-man playoff, I don't know why the following year when they went 0-13, I don't know why they didn't fire him then. I know. They must have a lot of trust in him or they owe him too much money. I don't know. You know, just an equivalent but put in a baseball analogy, your guy there with the Yankees, I have no idea how that guy keeps his job Boone? Yeah. It's like he's decent. But, I mean, you're supposed to be the Yankee man. You're supposed to win it all. This guy just keeps doing boneheaded things and still keeps his job. Last time I checked, they were tied. They were tied for first, I think. There's another chance. Well, so he keeps getting a little closer. Like he made it to a wild card in the second round. Then they lost to, I guess, Houston or something like that. How about the O's being within a game with a wild card? They're doing it. They're doing it. Yeah. They're always going to be that scrappy young team, I feel like. Or these days, they've just been that young scrappy team. Rupert sent us all the video the other night of the guy from the Orioles winning the game by robbing a home run. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Have you seen that? I saw it. It was like, what was the guy's name? Like Cal, Cal, Calson, Holy Calson or something. Anyway, who's, to follow up to last week's show, who is your NCAA national champ and who's the highest man? Let me guess. No, I'm going to be I could choose with my heart. I could choose with my heart. Okay, give me the game. Give me the game and then tell me who you're picking. What's the final game? All right. So I'm choosing with my head, not my heart here. Okay. So National Championship, Tejas. I think Arch could be solid. Okay. Georgia. Texas is just so, they're that other team. You just keep waiting. for them to do something. I know. And I'm putting a lot of faith in them putting my national championship game. Yeah. I don't... I hesitate to do so because they're going to drop three random games just like they did last year. Yeah. And that would make me very upset. But I do think They're older now. Arch Manning can take command kind of this year, have a little bit more experience. I think he could do something. They've got a few games on this schedule. They've got Ohio State. That's week two. Let's see. They have Oklahoma and the Red River. They've got Tennessee, too. Don't sleep on Tennessee. You should never sleep on Tennessee. They don't have the hype, but I'm telling you, hype will can coach. Yeah. And then obviously they got Florida with a new coach. They do have Ole Miss. I mean– I mean, it's just an SEC schedule. It's just an SEC schedule. You got to hope you survive. I mean, they got A & M to end the year. They got LSU. Like, they have so many opportunities that they could potentially drop one. Yeah. I can't remember who I– I think I picked A & M, but I don't remember. A & M is probably going to be a little bit– Go back to my notes. I don't know. I think Georgia– could do it i think they can cruise through the sec i don't think they have anything that's some huge mountain to climb or some huge stretch like i don't know why we keep ranking missouri yeah i don't know why they just. Get solid wins they're. Like vanderbilt yeah i mean they're like vanderbilt they. Were yeah so they just get those solid wins that make you go oh. Okay yeah i respect indiana but i don't know if they've got it this i think last year was kind of a miracle yeah just with how everything laid out. Okay. So I'm going to go Texas, Georgia. And if I, I'm going solid on Georgia. Okay. But Texas, there's a Miami in there too. So that's all potential. Okay. Georgia winning the whole thing? I hope so. Okay. I would, I would hope that they would, I mean, if it was a Georgia-Texas game, I'd probably be rooting for Georgia. Yeah. Little brother. But, you know, I don't know. Okay. All right, and Heisman, any thoughts on that? Trinidad, Chambliss. Chambliss. Yep. You can't be in college for six years and not win a Heisman. Ask Joe Burrow. Gotcha. Is that the guy at Ole Miss? Yep. Yeah, okay. And then the NFL starts next week on Wednesday. And so I guess we could talk a little bit more about that next week as Patriots at Seattle. Our fantasy draft is Thursday, tomorrow night. And who are your Super Bowl picks and MVP? The Redskins. Sweet. Or the Commanders. And Jaden Daniels taking the MVP. That would be a miracle. I hope you're right. Who's from the AFC? Is Sam Darnold still on the Seahawks? Mm-hmm. Because they had like crazy run last year. I wouldn't be shocked if they pulled it back together. Okay. I would not be shocked. Aren't they in the same conference? Oh, yep. They're in the same conference. Sorry. Yeah. I don't know. I don't pay attention to the NFL as much. No kidding. Well, I'll answer that question about halfway through the season. All right. And then last weekend was a huge, we're going to jump into NASCAR, our fans' favorite. We got Ryan Preece with his first win. What's the last race you've watched? Or you've been in person not too long. Ago, right? I'm going in three weeks to Bristol. Oh, very cool. Back to Bristol. Yeah. That's awesome. It's on the 19th, I think. That's great. Bristol was one of my favorite tracks. It's kind of lost a little luster, but there was a time where it was as big as, and I'm not exaggerating, it was as big as Daytona. Right. It was on the schedule, and it was the first Saturday night race, and everybody, it was hyped. That ticket was one of the hardest tickets, and they sold, I want to say, I'm not exaggerating, it was like 120,000 people. Well, I didn't know this, but this. Just what I looked up last year, I could be, you know, cannot verify. But it's the second biggest stadium in the world. No. I didn't know that. Yeah, I would not doubt that at all. Because it's– I mean, it's massive. Yeah. I've even pictured– remember when Virginia Tech played somebody? Tennessee. Was it Tennessee? Yeah, yeah, yeah. So Virginia Tech and Tennessee played. When I was sitting there, I said, man, you wouldn't– a football field in there? Yeah. I said, you wouldn't be able– and from where I am, I wouldn't be able to see. You wouldn't be able to see the ball. Huh. Felt like it was so far away. Yeah, that was a neat event. And I'm glad that they do for that track. Like they had a baseball game there this last year. So that's kind of cool. And then the next race is Darlington. I did get Brian's picks for Darlington. And when Carolina Kevin calls in here in a little bit, we will get his picks too. High school, just real quick, big shout out to Liberty Bedford getting a big win. They've been on such hard times for so long. It was neat to see that they got a, Who'd they beat? Thrashing of William Campbell. And then they now play Glenver, who lost to LCA last weekend. Go back-to-back here. Straight wins. And then JF will be playing Stanton River. LCA is off. And another interesting matchup is Heritage at Graham. So these D3 schools, or I guess Group 3 schools, are playing against the Group 2 schools. Graham and Glenver have historically been pretty good, so... Where's Graham at? It's like Radford West somewhere in the western part of the state. So they usually have a pretty strong team. Them, Radford, Glenver are usually trading punches every year for that level. And sports was brought to you by. It's time for news. All right. Time is moving on. Let's do... Of course, I brought 25 clips today because I wasn't sure how long we would talk. So I had to bring some extra ones. So let's just jump through this real quick. What's happening locally? Appomattox approves a data center. And I want to ask you guys, A, do you know what data centers are? And do you know anything about them? Do you know... Would you be against them for them? What's your gut? What little news you hear? So they take water in, fill the water out, and they push it back out. Is that correct? They don't keep the water. They don't, you know, have it evaporate. So that's what I had heard. And my father mentioned something, but I can't remember, you know, along the lines of what it was. But he was like, people are freaking out because they think, you know, this water source and this water source is going to just be drained. What they don't know is it cycles it back out just for cooling benefits. But, I mean, that's going to create how many jobs in this area? Right. It's going to employ how much construction, how long it's going to take to build it, tax revenue. So that's what– so there's a little bit of a track going on in the country about anti-data centers. And there's a huge push about anti-data centers. And if you know where the source of that comes from, it's on cheap ways to get the news out is media feeds. And it's China and a lot of it's TikTok. And they are doing all that they can to make us stop doing data centers because of our advancement that we have in AI over the Chinese. So they're actually pushing that. And the people that are receiving it or the people that want to receive it are the environmentalists of the group, the anti-growth people of the group. And there's a push. In fact, I just heard today. about how we are not. Sorry, Dad wanted me to wave at him. Oh, okay. I thought Caitlin might have been behind me. There are people that are worried about losing their jobs because of technology. And what I'd like to say to anybody that's listening, Rush Limbaugh, who's my idol, and I say it all the time when I get a chance, has always said technology does nothing but make jobs. And so, yes, there would be things that you would do that AI has taken over. But because of AI's technology, it creates more things. And a quick example, I heard it this week, was I get hooked into these things about businesses and businesses rise and fall. And bowling alleys are one. So bowling alleys took off after World War II. And there was a huge hiring of people to reset pins in bowling alleys. Before they got the machines? Yes. So that's what happened. Machines came in and people thought all of these kids are going to lose all their jobs. They found jobs. It takes somebody to make those things, right? It's just, it evolves into different things. And so the big push, and I can see it when I watch the news because I'm always skeptical watching the news, is who's creating the news. And so it's anti-data centerists. So the people that are going to really succeed are the locations that will accept them. Yeah. So this is huge for Appomattox in my opinion. They've got one in Amherst that they're working on too, don't they? Yeah, that's in the headline too. Yeah. I mean, before you said that, I had a very like, yeah, that is going to take some people's jobs. I mean, trees are always going to grow, so tree trimmers are set. AI is not going to be able to build buildings, so builders are set. But where my mind went to is what I've done recently Just recently, I have an intern that's doing through Liberty and he's working with me through Liberty and doing some intern hours. And he said, do you use AI? And I said, I mean, like make a proposal, you know, check my grammar or something like that. He said, no, no, no, no, no. He's like, actually use AI to its potential. And I said, look, you're scaring me. I don't know what you're talking about. He said, you can build this thing out to be your personal assistant. Yeah. And I have built it out. To be my personal assistant. Well, good for you. I will talk to it. Yeah. On the way here today, I was talking to it. Yeah. And I told it, I said, you know, I listed out all the things I need to do tomorrow, put times on them and everything like that. It doesn't have to be like speak to text where you have to say period. Yeah. And also, or, you know, obviously that's background, but, you know, it's, I said, yeah, go put that in my Google calendar. Yeah. And it cycled it right over my Google calendar. And I've got my whole day set up for tomorrow already. So the way I look at that is now you're more efficient to do another thing. I'm very much more efficient. And I saw that as being like, hey, you know what? Cut out a $ 45, 000 a year position of a secretary or an assistant. So that's where I was like, oh, you know, people might start losing jobs if you're not in the right industry. You'll lose that job. But there will be other things that creates, for example— You're more efficient. You'll be able to do two things. Yeah. So the thing that you were needing to do, you can't be there for that second thing. You need someone else. So it just, it evolves. We're never going to not run out of things to do. Right. So, and so that's the whole data center thing. There's another that's out there that's right now is flock cameras. Do you guys have thoughts on those? There's one up there at Lowe's on Timberlake. Yeah. There is one. Madeline said she had seen someone with it in the back of their truck. Yeah. A-flat camera, not that one, but A-flat camera, just rip it down. Yeah. You know, I don't know. I mean, there's a legitimate public safety benefit. Yeah. I will say, but is it a little too invasive? Yeah. Potentially. I haven't done a lot of research on it. So I'm of the opinion, and it's just my opinion, that's what we do on the show, is I'm not a big fan of the idea that why do we have to know everything? And just because there's a news headline that's going to happen that a kid got abducted and we happen to see that the camera caught it, right? Right. And that's a headline. But why do we have to lose our privacy every day because of some news story? Yeah. And that's what bothers me. And I watched the movie was God awful, actually, but I wanted to see it because of the story it was about was Eric Snowden. And he was an NSA guy. And because of the Patriot Act, we were really worried about terrorism around the world. We were watching everything. And so in the movie, it will say when your laptop is open right there, you're actually being watched. Yeah. And that is true. And he literally would take his laptop and he'd put it in the microwave when he talked to his wife. Because he was afraid that the people he worked with were watching him. And they were really doing that. Really? And Eric Snowden ratted out the government. And he had to hide in the Russian embassy. I watched that movie. It's called Snowden. Snowden. Who was the actor in that? It was on Netflix. I watched it years ago. Yeah. It was lame acting. I just thought it was a cheap movie. Well, it was a low-budget film. Low-budget movie, yeah. But the storyline itself is true. And he ratted out the government. So these flock cameras bother me. It's great that we've figured out technology to do it, but in the wrong hands, I'm not a big fan. So I would not do them, in my personal opinion. Not sure that we need to see everything that's going on in the world. And Lindsey Clancy. I know you have to know about this one, Emma. No. You don't know? I mean, I've heard of her, but I don't. She's the mother, right? Yeah. That killed her three kids? Yeah. That's all I know. So that's a big headline. I just want to see that. What do you know? But not knowing to me is... pretty cool that you don't know. So it's not everybody that knows about this story. I haven't been watching the trial because it's just another thing to distract me. You have not been watching? I have not. I haven't either. But from what I've seen, you know, that, that, uh, actress Hayden, what's her name? She passed away. Okay. She was in like, Oh yeah. She was a little girl in, um, remember the Titans. Okay. So she was the little coach's daughter. She was that, So she passed away, but she had like some extreme depressions and postpartum stuff. So she signed over custody of her daughter to her ex-husband. Okay. And people, when she passed away, people were like frowning upon her like, oh, you know, you didn't want to be mother this, that, and the other. But then there's certain people, she's, this Lindsay Clancy. Yeah. Has raised money. Yeah. For her court costs. Yeah. And they're like celebrating her. Yeah. It's sickening. I don't, I don't. And it's just like one of the documentaries I mentioned earlier. At some point, there still is the act that you did, right? And so even if it's postpartum, even if she was being harassed by the husband, I don't know any of the true details about it. All I know is a woman killed three of her own kids should not be around walking around in life. So whatever they got to do to put her down. And I do say this too, and nobody's ever said this in the news, and I really want people to understand this. We're in a society where there's a huge element of our society, almost half of our society, that thinks it's okay to kill babies. And if you can kill babies right before they're born or kill them right after they're born, why can't you kill them when they're three years old? Right. And maybe there's a lady on the jury that thinks that. We had a governor that thought when a baby is born. The governor of Virginia thought when the baby was born, you can put it on a table and just let it die. It's gotten to a sickening part of our society, and it bothers me that this woman could get away with that. I hope that doesn't happen, but the way the news is anymore, I don't know. Well, they passed that law. Was it Massachusetts? Yeah. Was it the Massachusetts governor? Do it anytime you want. Just sick. And what I thought was funny about that, too, is it just truly showed what Trump said the whole time. It's a states' rights thing. Yes. So if you want that, go move to Massachusetts. Exactly. Yeah. Anyway. And then. Your prediction on the midterms. Do the Republicans hold the House and Senate? I sure hope so. Yeah. That's your prediction? Yeah. Okay. All right. We'll go with that. And I'm trying to run through this because we've got Kevin coming, too. And we've got a lot of clips and things to go over here. We went a little long on sports, but we kind of. Needed your fill in for what we missed last week. Well, we made up for it. We didn't talk about the news all too much. So we ended a little early on the news so we could capture some more sports. There you go. Now we're going to win, win, win, right? We're going to win, win, win. And we're going to make America great again. All right. Let's play Trump here. Ron, you ruled out using a nuclear weapon against Iran. Well, I would never... say that, but the answer is yes. I rule that there's no reason for it. What a stupid question that is, actually. Here they are, they're totally defeated militarily. So now I defeat him and now I should use a nuclear weapon on top of him? What a stupid question. It's a bunch of fire. That lady, you know what? And that is literally what she was trying to do with the question. She was trying to say, have you ruled out using a nuclear weapon? So all she was trying to do, I hate that whole gotcha thing. She was just trying to force his hand to say what he would or would not do in war. And she knows he does not like saying that. He never rules anything out. And he shouldn't. He especially shouldn't tell your enemy what you have or have not. Exactly, yeah, because they see everything. Yeah. But his point was, what would we nuke? Just nuke the people to nuke the people? Well, they've torn up their infrastructure, bridges, whatnot. I don't understand. I don't understand the people that are getting mad about us in Iran. Yeah. Yeah. Just because it's almost like an uninformed decision of they don't know why. It's like, oh, well, let's just pull out of Iran. Yeah, all right, let's do it. Yeah. What's going to happen to your fuel costs? Yeah. You know, the straight, make it make sense, you know, and it's not an intelligent decision to say, oh, let's pull out of Iran. I'll tell you what. Let them do whatever they want. And I've been watching this for a long, long time, probably since I was 14, 15 years old, and I was a news junkie. I was a news and political junkie. I've been hearing about Iran for so freaking long. We finally had somebody that had the balls to do something. And he literally has changed what the next 60 years is going to be like. Yes. He's decimated them to keep them from– I mean, whether they had the nuclear weapons at a point where they could launch them against Israel, it became quite apparent that they could launch missiles at Israel. They're hitting Israel now with missiles. That's just in the last two years that that's happened. Now you put a nuclear warhead on that and what's going to happen? Well, it was the size of New Jersey, so we'll see what happens. And their regime was... And that's all they were about. So Trump has totally changed that whole dialogue. And if it costs a little more in gas for us for the next six months because of it, he's made our world safer. So it was worth it. That's really what it comes down to. That's what I see. Yep. All right. Now, the segue into killed by an immigrant. This is something that Brian does each week. And just to keep people on target of why we are pulling these people out of our country. a 77-year-old woman sexually assaulted by a violent illegal immigrant who was here illegally from Honduras. And it was kind of interesting to me that this was in Florida, but when they went to go arrest him, there were two other illegals that were living with the guy too. So that part of the show is just to keep reminding everybody why we keep throwing these people out of our country and what Biden and Kamala and whoever that border secretary guy was, Mayorkas, those guys should be essentially jailed for all that they did to hurt our own citizens. And now the post of the week by an idiot. Pow. A retired four-star general, Admiral, on Trump says, you have embarrassed us in the eyes of our children. humiliated us on the world stage, and worst of all, divided us as a nation. You know what cracks me up about that? When they quote those things, it's a retired admiral, so he's not in the military anymore. Is he retired because he was force retired or whatever? What people don't really get is, and I was around the military a lot of my young life, when you reach general and admiral, it's a very political move to get to that part. Mm-hmm. You get there because of whoever president was sometimes, and then you think like that. So he's not just an admiral. He's also a politician to get there. And when you say you divided us as a nation, then okay, join us, right? Yeah. You're saying we're divided as a nation because you think we should be on your side and we don't, but you're not joining our side. You literally made a statement there that is dividing. So that's why I say it's a post of the week by an idiot. You got any liberal friends? No. No, I don't. Maybe some family members. Yeah. But no friends. Do you do anything at Thanksgiving where you have to keep your tongue to yourself and not get into it? I'm not typically the one that's going to keep the tongue open. to myself I'm not and it's not that I'm gonna go out and try like intentionally do it but whatever the conversation is yeah I'm working with that yeah you know so I'll come right. If it starts you'll get involved oh. Yeah and I'm not gonna be like someone you can't talk to about it yeah but I will mention my thoughts yeah I'm not afraid to do. That very good and we should we should do that so um let's get into our Mount Rushmore these are This week is the Mount Rushmore of new coaching hires. These are these people, in my mind, and it could be anything, but people that were hired, did you go, holy cow, changed the program, or holy cow, that guy was a hell of a coach, and what a decision that institution made. So, Travis, since you're our guest this week, why don't you give me who your thoughts were? So I kind of thought this was tailored around football. Can be. Can be. It's whatever you want. That's what you're getting. That's exactly what it is. Whatever you want it to be. So, I don't have an honorable mention. I've got four coaches. Okay. Because I feel like. And if I did do an honorable mention, maybe he hasn't performed yet, but John Harbaugh. Oh, wow. To the Giants. I think that's a good pickup. Wow. See, I don't even think he's going to be there in three years. He might not be, but at least it brings... some type of environment that's different. Yeah. So that could be potentially my honorable mention. Okay. My number one, the GOAT, the greatest of all time, Nick Saban is one of the best coaching hires ever. For sure. Turn a program, I mean. A program that was used to winning. Yeah, that was used to winning, but, you know, we went through a couple bad phases there. Yeah. So that was a great hire. Yeah, for sure. It didn't turn the program around necessarily, but it was a great hire. Yeah. Signetti, Kurt Signetti, I think that was a great hire in Indiana. 100%. You know, going, having that winning record. He's always won. Yeah. But I think it was a great hire for Indiana to get him in there because he totally changed the culture. Yep. And even though they didn't make it to the fourth, they didn't make it to the playoff that, oh, no, no, no, no. They went undefeated and made it a couple years ago. but they lost to maybe an Ohio state or something like that. Okay. Maybe Tennessee. Uh, and then last year took it all killed Tennessee. So, um, I think that was a great hire urban Meyer to Florida. Okay. That was a little, little more of my time. And then, um, and by the way, urban Meyer to Ohio state. Yeah. That was a good pickup as well. I went more on the Florida route just because, I mean, it's a great coach going to two historically great colleges. So, Um, and then I've got Andy Reed to the chiefs. That's excellent. You know, people don't realize I'm the chiefs were just, they were in turmoil. They were. Yeah. Forever and ever. Yeah. Just the, and then they felt like a dog state. Yeah. It's like one of these guys not going to learn. You know what? You just reminded me of a guy that could end up being that way. That guy that said, uh, the Detroit lines, Dan Campbell. Yeah. That guy has really, I mean, he's got to win one, maybe a couple. But to take what he did, who has been so low for so long, is incredible. I saw a meme about him. It said it took the Lions so long to make cuts because he was too busy crying in every single interview. They say he's an emotional fellow. Yeah. Dick Vermeule is like that, too. That's who Brian makes fun of me, that I'm like that. I'm an emotional guy. All right, Emma. What coaches did you come up with? Not a single coach. No. Not somebody that you can point to. All right. Well, let's jump to Brian's then. How about Phil Jackson? Okay. That was on Chris Lax's pit. Was it? Yeah. You know why I don't give Phil Jackson that credit? And I refuse to. A, because I hated him. He had Michael Jordan. Yeah. Yeah. Right. He did. That's why. Doug Collins was good ahead of him. And Phil Jackson came in to kind of right the ship. That's why you can't pick Ogeron. Because what did he do besides have Joe Murrow? Yeah. Among other things. Yeah. I wouldn't have picked him either. But Phil Jackson, I mean, you go to Kobe and Shaq, who can't win with that? You know what I mean? He may have done something to keep the ship afloat that could have sank. But X's and O's and being that guy, I'm not sure. Obviously, he won championships. I've got dad's pick. Yeah. Frank Rocco. Let's finish with Chris here. He's got a Phil Jackson. I'm sorry. We were doing Brian's picks. Pete Carroll at USC. And that was in Chris's picks as well. Dabo at Clemson. I'm surprised, Emma, you didn't hit that. Oh, I guess I should have. Yeah. Yeah, but I don't remember him coming. Clemson. Oh, I got you. I thought about him. Yeah. I held off. Yeah. But I thought about it. He might be the greatest, what do you call it, midterm pick. You know, he took over for a program, and most of the time you get fired at the end of that year. Yeah. But he did such a turnaround, and the AD liked him, that they stuck with him. Oh, I didn't know he was the interim head coach. Yeah, they fired a guy maybe before a bowl game, and he stuck around. Huh. So, yeah. And it might have been Bobby Bowden's son. Could have been Terry Bowden, if memory serves. Anyway, whoever Davo came in for was during the season. And so that's one of those interesting things. Yeah, I didn't know that. Doesn't happen very often. And then Brian's got Saban at Bama, so you'll be happy about that. That's right, Brian. Of course, Coach K at Duke. That's a good one. I mean, 45 years ago, that was a great one. And I don't think Duke had won a national championship before him. I could be wrong on that, but I don't think they did. I think you're accurate on that. And then Belichick. To UNC or the Patriots? Probably the Patriots. And, you know, that's another team that for years and years and years, well, they did make a Super Bowl once, but then for like 15, 20 years, they were just the bottom of the NFL. And then Belichick just kind of saved it all. The reason why I didn't choose Belichick was because of Tom Brady. It seemed like all that success happened while he was there. I mean, I don't discount Belichick's coaching, but ever since Tom Brady has retired or left, they've been down. Whatever team he's coaching has been down. And you make a good point because— It also sort of helped when Brady left and won the Super Bowl with Tampa. Yeah. Right? That's kind of where that started. And then Bill hasn't. Exactly. Yeah. So it's kind of. Helped reinforce that. And even UNC, being at UNC, that was pretty disappointing last year. He won last week. He beat TCU. And he landed a damn good sidekick. That's right. Yeah. Yeah. And over at Chris's Picks, we talked about Phil Jackson, but Bill Belichick, he's got Cignetti, he's got Pete Carrolls, but he's got one here that I had not thought about, Joe Torre. For the Yankees. For the Yankees, yeah. And that was a time where they had, you know, they keep wanting to win, keep wanting to win, and Joe kind of just calmed everything down and just had that demeanor that let him win because he took all the pressure off everybody. Was he Reggie Jackson's coach? That famously was Billy Martin. Billy Martin. Yeah. That's right. Yeah. Joe Torre was like back in the days with. Late 90s. Yeah. Yep. And then you say your dad has. Well, it's kind of a joke, but it's Frank Rocco. Oh, okay. That was a great hire. Good hire. Yeah. Good one, Dave. And then I can't believe nobody's talked about this, but I will have to fill it in here for us. Tony Bennett at UVA. Okay. What a hire. Okay. I'm with it. Maybe Terry Holland, you can say they had some good years. Pete Gillen had some good years. But Tony Bennett, I mean, that guy figured it out. And here's one, and we talked about it a little bit earlier, Joe Paterno. Okay. Penn State? Yeah. I mean, that's like 30 years of successful football. Yeah, it was. Yeah. And they haven't done Jack since he left. And there was a guy that I wrote down here, but then I changed the name. It was still Bobby. I had Bobby Bowden first. What a coach. Took Florida State. You hadn't even really heard of Florida. Florida State was like Florida Atlantic. It was like a team. Yeah. It was just like he took this team. Because he got fired from West Virginia, Bobby Bowden did. So it was like he landed the job that he could get, and then he made it into what you know what today is. Wow. But I crossed that out because didn't Florida State win with– Winston, Jameis Winston. Yeah, Jameis Winston, but it was— Fisher, Jimbo. Thank you. Man, that's why you're here. So that's why I crossed it out and made it Bobby Knight. Bobby Knight, all right. What's Indiana done since Bobby Knight? That's the truth. I mean, did they make the tournament last year? I don't think so. I don't think they did. Yeah, I mean, that's how far down they've fallen. So that is our Mount Rushmore. Oh, no, we got one more. We got a live chat that came in. Uh-oh. And this is a fantastic answer. Jim Valvano. My mother. Jimmy V? Yeah. Who's that? Oh, my God almighty. Is he old? What kind of mom teaching did you have? Jim Valvano was the man. He's the guy, if you've ever seen the highlight of winning the national championship game, he was this dude. Yeah, put Jim Valvano's victory. I've never seen him. I mean, they have an award ceremony every year in his honor. Yeah, well. Or they have an award at the ESPYs. He died of cancer too soon. Dude, that was 10 years before I was born. I get it, but he was just so magnanimous. I mean, he was just this bigger-than-life coach kind of guy. Now, that's his speech. It's an iconic speech that he gave, too. But when he won the national championship, he just keeps running around the court finding people to hug. Yeah. It was great. So that is a great choice. How about this? I've got one more. Okay. Herb Brooks. Herb Brooks. I know the name, but how do I know? You know it. Miracle on Ice. Oh, yeah, the USA coach. Yeah, the USA coach. Yeah. Yeah, that's a good one. I just thought about that in my head, and I couldn't remember his name. I had to look it up real quick. Great coaching hire. That's what's great about Google. Carolina Kevin is coming on and the ladies are wanting to hear. Potentially. That's why she's on now. To hear Carolina Kevin? Probably. Daggone it. When are we going to have the stats for how, how, how this episode went? See if we beat Jeff. Um, next week. Next week. We'll see it next week. All right. I'll give you the stats. I don't know. He, he did kind of have a one up cause that is the greatest show of the year. Yeah. Well, it was a good show. And, um, But you have a chance. I'll give you a chance. You don't sound very confident. You've got to get the youth vote to listen. All right. So you're going to have to look at the screen for this. I hope you can see it. But this is the TDS camp, Trump Geriatric Syndrome camp, and they are getting ready for us. Ready? Hey, they are ready! They are ready! Hey! All right. I don't even need to do anything anymore. They are fucking ready. All right. Okay. Nice! Hey! Okay. Okay, I love that. Let's go. Get ready. Let's go. Hey! Hey! Give us more, give us more, give us more. Give us more. Push, push, push, push, push, push. What is that? It's getting all prepped up. What does that say? Holy Jesus, what is that? What the F is that? That's from one of the best movies you will ever see. I love that movie. Full metal jacket. Full metal jacket, yep. Look at this. That's hilarious. Trump and all. Yes, they need that. Not Tylenol, Trump and all. All right. So this woman right here, these are the people that were leading this country that will take over if we let the Democrats back in here. That middle America is going to find out who the real boogeyman is. And the real boogeyman is not the brown skinned. Abdul or the brown-skinned. Zoran. The real boogeymen are white, crusty, pink-armed Republicans like Donald Trump, Stephen Miller, Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk. These are the people that don't give a f * * * about you. They never have and they never will. The whole communist scare is total bulls * * *. Sorry, Trent, did not mean to. Cut you off. No, you're good. I thought it was actually almost like we were working together. My point of that one is, why do they hate white men so much? These liberal women, they literally, she will bow down to, she's going to call them brown people herself. That's what term she used there. She's going to bow down to that, even though that person's communist, who literally is nothing about our country. But yet, dog... What is it? I still, I really, honestly, genuinely do not know. What makes them so angry? I don't know. I mean, I remember being frustrated during the Biden administration, but.... We weren't sitting there doing dances and pushing the air like we were trying to. I'm so frustrated. All right. All right. Speaking of the people that ran this country, Emma, you got to hang on and listen to this lady, what she's talking about, and then just realize how dumb she is. Here we go. I just found out that my grocery store has been stealing money from me for the past year and a half. So I'm a very consistent grocery shopper. I go once a week, every Sunday afternoon, and it's like a part of my Sunday routine. And if you know anything. About me, I am a creature of habit. Like I go every single week with my grocery list. I check everything off. And then I usually go to aisle four because my favorite cashier lady, Kathy, is in that line and she gives me coupons. And a part of my Sunday routine is refreshing my wallet with fresh cash. My mom always told me growing up that cash is king. So I always like to carry like at least a $ 50 bill on me at all times. So every single week with my groceries, when it asks me if I want cash back, I always say yes and I get my $ 50 back. So every week I look up on the little screen and see how much money I saved from all my coupons. And usually it's about like $ 50 to $ 60. So I always press $ 50 when it asks if I want the cash back. So PSA, if you did not know this, when you ask for cash back, it is not giving you the cash back of the money that you saved from your order, like from the store. It is taking it straight out of your checking account. So please be aware next time you guys are getting. Cash back, it is taking it out of your own money and stealing it from your bank account. It is not from the grocery store. Stealing it. I can't. I can't fathom that. Let me ask you this. Stupidity. I'm going to ask you this one question. Trump voter? No. No. A little common sense. I mean. That aligns like where does money come from? They have no idea where money comes from. Exactly. It aligns. Yeah. Like, oh, we'll pay off your student loans. Yeah. Where's that money coming from? That's our biggest clip, by the way, if you've ever noticed, if you go to Instagram. I think we got 1.4 million views on that one. Oh, wow. Unbelievable. And it's just people just don't know about money. Yeah. I saw a TikTok once. We can learn about Shakespeare or whatever that we went to in school. All of our history. But not know how to write a check or do the balance of a checkbook. Yeah, a balance checkbook. They won't tell you anything about it. really taxes yeah anything exactly and that's high school stuff that's like super simple when I started in business I was like I have no idea what's going on here yeah and they were like well I mean it's kind of supposed to be taught to you it's simple stuff it's you know 10th grade stuff yeah no one ever. Taught it exactly you just don't know we got Kevin. Hanging around like a loose tooth why are my dentures in the ice tray it's Carolina Kevin. Oh, it's that guy again. My man. Good Lord, I had to turn around four times, stomp my feet, beat my chest, turn the lights on and off. What happened? I texted you. I didn't call four times. Oh, I'm sorry. I was doing a show. I didn't know to look out for texts. Sorry. Well, you got on. Eventually. What time did you tell me to call you? 640? 645? 640. What time is it now? Why are you so angry? That's not being angry. That's just being truthful. Factual statement. If you want to know, I just gave you a shout out if you had been able to get on that our live listeners are has skyrocketed right before this. I think you have this fan club that is listening in and one of them, Laura, you just gave the touchdown sign. Like heaven is on here. Praise the Lord. My mother. How are you, sir? Oh man. I'm hanging in there like a loose tooth and a hair in the biscuit. That's not good. Well, one of them's not, well, both of them would suck. So just a rundown of, well, what did you think about the race last week, Daytona? I thought it was pretty good. I was glad to see him win. It's always good to see new people come up and win. Yeah, I thought it was great. There was all new names up there at the front, which, by the way, hey, Kevin, can you say hi to Travis? We got a new host today. Travis, I remember you back when you was playing basketball. Years and years ago. Years and years ago. Yep. Well. Running up down the floor. Is he talking about another Travis? Hold your thing up like it was one number one play. Just run with it. We were running with it. Hey, Kevin, how's it going? What's happening, Captain? Kevin, I have a quick question for you. Do you mind if I ask you how old you are? 53 be 54 January the 8th, 2027. I was always curious about that because they portray you, if no one had ever seen you before, they kind of portray you to be like an old man. We do? Well, just, that's what I pick up from it is that you would think Kevin, 75 years old. I mean, dentures in the ice tray? I mean, that portrays somebody who's old. But I figured, I was like, well, if you've Brian's brother? He can't be so old, right? I didn't know we did that. I apologize. Listen, I've not yet begun to define myself. I'm just in my prime. That's the way I feel, too. I haven't tried your spaghetti sauce yet. It's still sitting there. It looks great on our counter. Very good-looking red spaghetti sauce. I just haven't tried it yet. You'll be able to try it out. I'll have to take my shoes off. Hey, what's Emma's phone number? Why? Well, I was going to send you a text message, and that way you'll be able to let Travis know and see how old I am. He sent a selfie. Wait, I'll pull you up. Hold on. Let me stalk you on Facebook. Oh, no. Hold on a second. I'll just send it to Trent's phone. Yeah, send it to Trent. Yeah, I got you right here. That's right here. You know who that guy is? Dude. Is that the guy? Is that a dwarf? He's the one that rescued Pit Bulls. He had a series on the TLC channel or something. He was at the auction I was doing a year before last when I had the charity auction I do every year for the Southside community SPCA. So I raised, I think it was $ 39, 000 last year at the auction, but it's once a year we have it down in Farmville. That's nice. But is he, I don't know how to ask, is he one of the little people? On the left, yes. I believe the height challenged. Emma, I sent you this. Yes, I sent you. I mean, the Pit Bull. You'll be able to look it up on your phone. Just look up Pit Bull Rescue. I mean, you know, like whatever they have every year. It's like 25 episodes or whatever. I think it was on TLC or some kind of channel. Do you have a dog? Me? No, I got too much going on to have a responsibility of a dog. Gotcha. Do you have a cat? No. I have me, myself, and I in my garden. My garden is about dead. The wildflowers still look great, but everything else is gone. Why do my peppers keep rotting? Probably blossom rot. Um, Because, like, some of them are fine, but, like, some of them start to turn brown. On top or in the bottom? Bottom. Yeah. It could be the blossom rotting. You might need some lime. Eh. Next year. Sprinkle a little lime in there. I don't know if I'm doing this next year, man. Yeah. I have a black thumb. Yeah. I picked off a handful of tomatoes yesterday. I still get a few little things out of it. What's your. It's a high-life treatment. Good. What's your Darlington forecast? Who's your picks this week? Man, I'm going to go with Buescher, and I think Hoskavar might pull something out. How about him wrecking last week? I'd never seen anything like that. It was like he just lost it. Yeah, I. That's what happens when you meet a girl sometimes. And, you know, he met that girl like about five or six weeks ago, and I think he'd have lost her. What'd she look like? He blew up the engine. Well, you know it was the one with the whole thing on it. I mean. I hadn't even seen her. Him meeting her and all. I don't know the story. What is it? Y'all left out nothing. Oh, man, that's a whole lot of things going on. You guys are dippity-dapping and don't know what's happening. I mean, what's going on? I thought he just did NASCAR and whatever that computer game is that he's racing all the time, iSeries. No, he met some girl. You can look it up like you do everything else. You'll be able to look it up and find out. I'm sure it's a good NASCAR racing. If we did Mount Rushmore of athletes' wives, I would say NASCAR might be the number one. What about golf? Golf's up there. Baseball. Who's your third pick? for Darlington? I'm going to probably go with an outsider, way, way outsider. It'll have to be a good driver because you know you're coming off a turn three in Darlington and has that wall that comes back out about three feet. Yeah. And what they call it Darlington Stripes. Yeah. I think I'm on, you know, I may go with Mr. Eric Jones. Okay. He's won there before. That would be great. Man, I had just texted Brian this weekend. I was watching Daytona, and I was falling asleep, but that's what's great about NASCAR. And so I woke up to see that there was like, let's say, 25 laps left. Perfect timing. But I was like happy. I was like, this is great. Perfect timing. And Eric Jones comes right into the front, and dude, he was in that STP colors. It was a Dollar Tree sponsor, but he had those STP. Remember that blue and red car? Mm-hmm. And I had just texted Brian. I was like, oh, my gosh, that STP. I mean, that Eric Jones car looks so good. And within a half a lap, wrecked. I was like, man, that sucks. That was the Hosovar wreck. Yep. Back on Hosovar. Has Emma been behaving? Yep. Well. I don't do anything. Holly Holland, she is a stock car racer. Not sure what that means. Well, that's who he was linked to earlier. He's got, I believe who Kevin's talking about is Tabitha Swatosh. Oh, she's a TikToker. Sure. That's what it says right here. Social media personality slash TikTok creator. Might have to put her up on screen there. Yeah, go find her. Just to do real research. In the meantime, I do have a question about Bristol, Kevin, because that's where I'm going. I need to know who's winning that race. Yeah, yeah. He's introducing himself to NASCAR a little bit. So he wants to know who's going to win Bristol. Yes. You need to go ahead and grab you some of them two great big packs of Get you some IVs going on the next day, man. We go camp out Friday night, Saturday night. Oh, even better. And we walk over to the stadium and, you know... NASCAR is awesome because you bring your cooler. Yeah. I didn't know that until last year. Yeah. So, that's a blast. Watch college football all day. That's perfect. I think you made a good choice on this tab with the Swatosh. I think... I think Bristol will probably have you a winner of– I think Kyle Larson will probably end up winning that race. Kyle Larson. Yeah, he's due for a win, man. He's just been awful this last half of the season. Rick Hendry. But he's still hanging around like a loose tube. Yeah. Chase Elliott might be a good one in that race too. So we'll make those picks when it comes. I'm just going to say– switch the points from the way it was for a while, you know, because that win and end thing just won't cut it. Yep. And Laura's also said the Austins are close to winning Bristol. What's Bristol? Dylan Austins. Is that NASCAR? That is NASCAR. Yeah. Hey, Trent, where do you get those, the muffs that have the radio in them? Do they sell them out there? They rent them. You rent them? Yeah, you can rent them there. You go find them and rent them? Where might you go to get yourself a nice headset? I bet you if Amazon's got a big trailer. Oh, they have a big trailer? See, last year, I didn't know this because I had never been to a NASCAR race. Very loud. Oh, my God. I mean, you can imagine it's loud, but not like earmuffs loud. Yeah. Everybody's got their earmuffs. So we go down to the fan zone and they're selling, they got a Bass Pro Tent set up and they're selling ear muffs. So I just got these cheap little Joker ear muffs, 20 bucks. And then my buddy had actually, it was like a set of two. And my buddy, he was like, here, use these. And you listen to the commentation and you know what's going on because you're just watching it like, what's going on? Yeah, yeah. You know, but if you get the commentation in your ear, it makes a whole lot more sense. Yeah, yeah. So, I mean, NASCAR there at that race, they, let them have like four or five more sets. Like you wouldn't have known that unless you had the headset on or you're keeping track of the tire. Yeah. You know, who does that? Right. Yeah. No, it is definitely helpful if you can hear what's going on. Yep. And then last week, just, uh, Brian has won two weeks in a row now. And so the total points are, I've got 966. Brian's got 1093 and Kevin is third with, 11-46. So that's the current stats of where we are for the season points. I'm always ahead in points, though. It's the wrong direction. This is like golf. No, it's in life. In life, always ahead. True. So you got any weekend events coming up? I'm leaving tomorrow, going to the Outer Banks, going fishing. Flounder season's in. Starting the 1st of September, beginning on the 7th. How many flounder can you catch per day per person? One. Isn't that crazy? Really? I just heard that today. Just one. You can only catch one fish per day per person, one flounder, for two weeks. That's all you get is two weeks. You know how many doves I can shoot on Saturday? Uh-uh. Fifteen. Oh, wow. And then usually everybody else has a bunch of dove, so they all give me them. Oh, yeah. So I come home with like 120 dove. Oh, man. That's great. Except you have to clean them all. Well, they're quick. You know, pop the wings, pull the breast, wash everything down. That's quick. Yeah. It's worth it if you can put a little cream cheese and bacon and jalapeno in there. Oh, yeah. Look at you. That's some good stuff. You can do it quick. Stick your finger right on up it. You know what? Pop it out. Pull the things. Clean it. Put it in salt water. Wrap it with bacon. Slap a jalapeno on there and slap yourself and eat it after you get there to smoke them. That's right. If you smoke them, that's a totally different ballgame, but you got to have patience for that. Usually, I just fry them up in a pan. I can't wait. I've done oven before, too. But usually, the Alabama game's on that night, and I'm eating Dove. If I've got it, I'm eating it. Oh, cool. Very good. You have to take shoes off so. You can wiggle your toes. It's so good, you got to take it. There you go, Steve. Trent knows what's happening. My man. Trent knows exactly what's happening. You got any words of wisdom as you depart? Well, I got one thing to say. And I guess this fits me and Trent sometimes, but It's just funny how drinking eight cups of water a day seems like it's just impossible. I've tried it before. I just get bloated and stuff. But eight beers and six shots and three hours, they go like a fat kid on a seesaw. My man. Very good. Very good. A little update on the headset. They do sell them on Amazon. Yeah. They're $ 350 for a pair. Okay. Is it worth it? I mean, I would imagine you can keep wearing them. I have the ones that are just hunting the earmuffs that you put in, and I'll actually even have earplugs that I put in, too, just to help. Martinsville is just like Bristol. Loud. It's just very loud. Short track. Yeah. But it's entertaining if you can listen to the race. I'll watch it. So I can kind of see the board and see what they're talking about, that kind of thing on my phone. I just remember last year, man, those headphones were cutting into my ears. Yeah. And then these have little, you know, covers on them and whatnot. Nice. I would say it's worth it. Plus, you can have them forever. That's what I would think, you know, and you get a pair of them. Yeah. This one actually has a microphone on it. Yeah. So I guess you can. Talk to each other. Oh, you can talk to each other. Yeah, yeah. Well. And that's the other thing, you know, when you went to the races, for about three hours, you're not talking to anybody with you until it's a caution. You're screaming. You can't hear each other even when you're yelling. Yeah. It's impossible. So I do want to get, I think my buddy Colby, he's a diehard. He's a host of our guy. Okay. Diehard. It was his bachelor trip last year that got us out there. Okay. And we got him like a signing because, you know, the drivers, they come out to the fan zone a little bit before, you know, midday. Yeah. And they do some signings and whatnot. So we got him a signing and a picture and a meet and all that good stuff. That's cool. Anyways, yeah, $ 350 for a pair. Very good. I might invest. Yeah. I think it's worth it. And it's prime. Yeah. I get two days. Oh, good. Definitely have it for the races. I would Darlington is this week. I would highly recommend you get to watch some Darlington. Darlington is, I mean, is one of my favorite tracks, uh, just like Bristol, but it's kind of, it is short track, but it's a little bit longer than Bristol and Martinsville, for example. So they actually pick up speeds. And what he was talking about was the outside wall. It's the lady in black because the wall starts out, it's painted white and it's really cool because you get the black stripe and it's the people just keep hitting the side of the car over and over. And they'll put, Usually they do it with Tyler Reddick because Tyler Reddick and Kyle Larson will ride the top. So everybody else goes down to the bottom of the turns and they just ride the top like along the wall the whole day. So some guys master it and some guys can't. Yeah. It's really neat. It's a good, it's a really good race. And it's a very historical race of the South. It used to be called the Trans-South. The Confederate flags all over the place. Not racism. It was the South. Yeah, it was the South. It's the South. And we sort of let the Confederate flag be taken hostage by symbology. But it was, we are the South. Darlington, South Carolina, right? Yeah. So that's my bucket list. In fact, I'm seeing if I can get Brian to go next year. He is, this year we're doing the late model race at Martinsville. So we're camping. He and my brother are camping, so I'm going with him. Glamping. Glamping. In the RV, yeah. Yeah, in the RV. Yeah. So we're going camping, glamping at Martinsville, but not for the NASCAR event. It's for like the late model stuff. This is like your local guys, but it's like the Super Bowl for local guys. So they're all over the country coming to race at Martinsville, and it's like over 100 entries. Really? They do multiple races all day long for the final race at night. So that'll be a fun event. So I'm hoping next year I can get him talked into going to Darlington. Do it. We'll see. uh what we missed at half at it let's just uh skip these other couple people but i do want to see any chance you got cut 40 yeah this is this is this is how we need to end have at it you're getting ready to get when are you getting. Married june 11 2027 next year next year less than a year now hope i get that invitation but you got you got to save the date didn't you. Um Well, I'm sure I got it. Just text me. Ask Marty. Yeah, we will. So this lady even looks a little bit like Madeline. So I'm sure this is the advice that you would give her. And I think this could help you in the rest of your marriage. Cut 40. Well, my husband and I was feeling really anxious today. And he gave me some advice that was really helpful. So I thought I would share it with all of you. He said to me, why don't you just not. Worry about it? Just stop worrying. So simple. There's so many comments. It does work. It does work. Did you stab him? Calm down while you're at it. Oh, my goodness. So try that. See how that goes. I've never been able to figure that out. So we'll see. But maybe I should use that advice. But thanks for coming on the show. I'm happy to do it. It's the most fun. I look forward to it. Yeah, it's awesome. And because of you and today's Mount Rushmore and football, we're ending the show with your boy today. Saban. Yeah. So this is a small clip that he gave about. Oh, this is my favorite. About mediocre people, right? This is going through life and just being a guy that's average. Or are you trying to excel? And I watched, you know, earlier we were talking about Lane Kiffin. in his experience at Alabama, obviously two different characters, right. And two different personalities, but Nick did not put up with anything. It's his way. And you have to be my way or you ain't going to be around. And it was, it was a learning experience for Lane, obviously, but this guy is just the most intense dude. I really enjoy seeing him on college game day. Relax. It shows a different side of him. Yeah. Softens him up to grandpa mode a little bit so i enjoy it i mean they play with him and whatnot but this was who he was yeah it was like hey you know um you know successful people hate being around mediocre people because they're not they don't they don't think on the same wavelength they don't do the same stuff so that he's like they hate it yeah so i will i use that from time to time when i'm on the phone with somebody yeah trying to light a fire yeah So I've used this plenty of times. I think he's the perfect guy to replace Lee Corso. He's not Lee Corso personality-wise. He's not. But he's that perfect guy to sit in the seat because they didn't need another Lee Corso. Yeah. They got the crazy guy, the punter. McAfee. McAfee guy. Mm-hmm. I mean, he took over. For that personality. McAfee's one of the greatest. But that dynamic of them two just three feet apart is what makes that show. It's so funny. It's so good. I can't wait. They got Saban sitting up on the desk. Yeah. I mean, they play off each other real well, and that's why I enjoy College Game Day. College Game Day is the best. So thanks for coming on the air, Emma. Good job today, and we look forward. I don't know what the show next week's going to be yet. I still have some formulas in my head of what we can do. We'll come up with something. Brian's gone next week. Again, happy 20th anniversary to those two love bugs. I can't believe Brian still has not played my speech for them. Obviously, it worked. They've stayed together. I'm not sure that I could repeat any of it here. Maybe that's why he hadn't brought it. Have a great week, everybody. Thanks for listening, and see you next week. People don't like high achievers and high achievers don't like mediocre people. So if everybody doesn't buy into the same principles and values of the organization and same high standard, you're never going to be successful. Get the right guys on the bus, get them in the right seats and get the wrong guys off the bus. So one of these days you're going to be working in an organization and somebody is going to try to do that to you. So which one of those. People do you want to be? Do you want to be somebody they're trying to get off the bus because you're satisfied with mediocre performance? Because you can never have any team chemistry in your organization if everybody's not committed to the same standard and the same thing.
