Mhm h m hm hm. Broadcasting on Cross Street f L, brought to you by Media Squatchy's Life, Liberty, Happiness with your host Ryan Fly with Drunk Warner for around me outside, to me, outside, me up. The curls go around the outside, round the outside, round the outside. Somebody wants them all right, everybody. That's a different voice you're hearing to start out, well, same voice, different role. Today I am hosting the show Trent Warner and with us today is a very special guest, a new guest, one of our loyal listeners and favorite listeners and favorite fans that we have. Travis appreciate you having me on. Yeah, and guess who's back back again? Emma's gone. You know, I just finally decided I had to come back. Straighten things up, kind of clean it back up, make sure it stays on the tracks. Man, I'm going to miss her. I know she's good. Let's let's do all we can to get her back. I wish she quit school. And just forget that whole education thing. Just forget about it. Why do you need it. You don't need a degree. First off, it's overrated, it's overpriced. Yeah, you may never get back what you put into it. Yeah, and she was having fun and you're here, Yeah, like, what's what's the negative? I don't have a negative yet. Hey, what do I got an Emma story for you that you don't even know. Oh man, Okay, So we were riding her chops, like just giving her hell because the first week was flawless, and the second week she had a couple of little things and you know how we are. We're like pranhas smelled a little blood and we went after And then that next week I said, hey, I listened to the show, and you know what, it wasn't as bad as I thought. She goes, I edited the whole thing. Get it, dude. Man, that goes out or her way to make it sound better because she was afraid doesn't get any better now it doesn't. That's why I'm devastated. Yeah, sad about it. Well, we'll get her back. So some of you may be wondering where your lovable, huggable host is, and he is at Cabo if you listen last week, he's out west with his wife and neighbors and daughter and their sons and they're enjoying the West. And if you've seen his posts, looks like they are having a great time well after the luggage fiasco. So in case you don't know, and I hope they're listening. Of all the people on the in the trip, who's the last person that that airplane should ever lose luggage of Ashley? And she's the one that they didn't bring the luggage for. And the story of why they didn't was just beyond I mean, it's just a bad employee or whatever. But then they posted something like Tuesday where they were out on a on a boat or something, and I was going to make the comment is actually wearing the same clothes? So I texted that to Brian, because when you know you have a really good joke, you got to get it out. But I was afraid to put it on the post because Ashley would read it, and I was scared of her. And so it's good to filter that he sent me the cat signed back. So I don't know what that meant, Travis. You know what that means? I don't. Okay, our sponsors, David Honeaker, that's all. That's all the words you get to talk, Travis. I ask a question and you get two words that So welcome to the Also State Farm, David Honeaker Studio, and our other sponsor longtime sponsors, seeing US Business Services. Travis told me that he started a new business. When you start getting the bookkeep, you start really getting big. Look up seeing US Business Services thing, handle your handle your finances. Absolutely, all right, let's get in the show. We've got a great show. All the other thing I said last week, I wasn't going to do the show because I hate prepping for these things. I love that Brian does everything and all I have to do is I told Travis, all you have to do is be the good looking, smart, witty guy and it doesn't take a lot to do. But when you're in this seat, it sucks. I mean you have to prep. It's probably two hours of prep just to get the show put together. And I was like, man, I don't want to do it. And then I said, if any listeners want to do it, here to do it. And David Baxter, Travis's dad who corrects us on everything, waiting for it. Yep, he said, why don't you get Travis to do it? I was like, oh man, this is a great idea. Travis is a great listener. He always chimes into what we've said, like, if we miss something in the top ten, he'll tell me who we should have chose. Got to I love that stuff, so I thought, man, that'd be great. Let's get him on the show. But I was going to do the show, not do the show. And I said, you know what, we'll do it for an hour. So I've already rambled too long. We're going to try to squeeze two hours back to what we used to do and do it in an hour. So let's get right to it. This day in History, and I've already messed up, Amma. And now the rest of the story, This day in history on life liberty happened. I heard in my defense, I heard you didn't like that bumper. I'm not a big fan of it. He sounds old, and I did get it, but it drags on. What was the last one? We didn't have one? Yeah, this is kind of a man. We make new bumpers every week, though, so so uh, this day in History, and then this is I know Brian went out west, and I figured it was for that. The first Rainbow Pride flag premieres nineteen seventy eight. You think that's what they're celebrating, You think that's why they chose this time to go out there. Oh God, I hope he's listening to the show they did. And just I love this stuff. So that's this first day of the history. And I will say this, I've been talking about this with friends. Why did we let them take over the rainbow? Yeah? I agree, I mean, let's get it back. Let's just get religious people to start using the rainbow again. You got a pot of gold. There you go. We do a little lucky charms exactly. Yeah, just any of that stuff. Let's get the rainbow and just take it back. We just need to start. Travis. You you're the first one. Put the rainbow on your truck. You go build these houses and just tell them it's religious. It's religious. And then it just takes a seed. You just plant the seed and before you know it, we have trees everywhere of different colors and bronze wearing a rainbow shirt and Cabo, I guarantee it, that's a rainbow. All right. Let's go to drama, all right. I kind of like this little fast thing to make sure we're just shotgunning these things. It's gonna be very eventful. Oh and we also got Carolina Coven, he's still coming on. I'm excited to meet Carolina cap Yeah. Carolina Coven was more thrilled because they've seemed to have gotten into into it the last few weeks with each other, so I kind of I'm glad he was happy to come on the show. So he's going to call in around five fifty. All right, So in Drama, I was gonna talk about Tucker Carlson and some interviews that I have seen recently, which to sidebar a second. If you go back through Twitter and I kind of lost touch with Tucker, find his interview with the guy Jeffrey Sachs. It's two and a half hours long, which that sounds like a long time, but man, it's like watching it was like watching a movie. This guy knew so much about our government and how we have screwed the Russians in Ukraine and how we've lied, and I mean it's like, and he's a Harvard professor. Just what I just Man, you cannot listen to this guy and not know that he's telling the truth, which is what I love about Tucker Crosson. He has truth tellers. Tucker's easily listen to him. Yeah, did you ever watch him on Fox News or you just ask just clips, Yeah, just clips. But he's very easy listen to. Oh yeah, you start going over to the TikTok just watched scroll down see what he's got Part one, Part two, Part three. Yeah. I saw somebody today wanted to say that they wanted him to be vice president and so that would not be a bad choice either. Just an honest guy, I mean, and finds honest people to tell the truth. And who is the guy they just let out of jail yesterday, Juliana Soannge. Is Juliana Soannge out of jail? If not for Tucker having that interview exactly, I'm telling you, man, Tucker is that powerful. So anyway, back to the movies. Last night a friend of mine told me something that Brian French. She was next door. We were watching Talladega Nights, laughing our tails off, and I have this thing where I call things top five all the time, and we were at the pool and like every song that comes on, I called off and he goes, man, how many top fives you got? And he's like, legitimately top five movie Fury, that's his number one movie. I think that was his number one. Have you ever seen it? Oh? Yeah, right, Brad Pitt, what have you ever seen it? I have not? I know. I feel bad because this whole list like I'm like, I was like, man, I'm telling you movies. So last night Alarty's out of town this week with her son. They're doing They're doing Pinkman Academy. Pinkman. Yes, do you remember? Yeah? R Logan over there, yes, and Perry went, yeah, So we went, she's got him at Pinkman. So I'm by myself. It's a movie genre that I know she isn't going to like. So it's like perfect timing. Just let me find it on Netflix. They don't have it on Netflix. Find her on Amazon. They got on Amazon, but it costs two bucks, so I go just think, is there's somewhere else that has it? And I was like, all right, I'm gonna spend two bucks and rented for the night and dude, for two plus hours. It was the most intense. It's a good call and was really cool in what Brian and Catherine French did not know. For me, my my grandfather fought in World War Two and he was in a tank and so this movie Fury is a tank war movie, and I'm just gonna say the like the last hour is nothing but in the tank, and it's like it is so intense. Five stars, no doubt. So that got me thinking, why did it not win Picture of the Year, And so I looked it up as twenty fourteen was when it came out. Listen to this list. I've never heard this before. Listen to these movies that were in and these are the movies that did get nominated for Picture of the Year. And it was Twelve Years of Slave. Have you guys seen that one? I haven't, all right, fantastic movie. It ended up winning Best Picture and should have now. It had a lot of politics to it because twelve Years Slave you can imagine, but it was a fantastic, fantastic movie. Wolf of Wall Street, which is my favorite movie of all times two times a year and never gets old. Yeah, I mean definitely. That's like when somebody says, what movie could you watch again? And it again and again and it's not a short movie. No, No, it's good Wolf of Well, pulp fictions like that for me too, but Wolf of wall Street definitely, what have you seen Wolf of wall Street? I have not? What I know we're gonna have movie. We do, except you don't get to bring any I don't get to pick any of the star trek. Yeah. American Hustle. That's with Christian Bale and Bradley Cooper. Big Christian Bale, Right, they put him over waiter. Is this Uh he grows into he's both he's actually he's like younger and older as they go through you know how he does. He changes, He changes his body a lot. Yeah, and I think he's bald, like it's almost like you don't recognize them. Yes, Okay, now I know what you're talking about. American Hustle is really really great. I think Dallas Buyers Club. Is that the Aides movie? Yeah, that's kidding Man with Sean Matthew mcconnoey. Yeah, yeah, that's in there gravity. I have seen that. That is fantastic. That's right up your alley, right, that's that was the Sandra Bullock. Yeah, George Cloone is in it for a little time. George Clooney is in there. Yeah, briefly, but that was intense too. That was and then Captain Phillips. Now that that's an awesome movie. I just saw that in the last year. Yeah. Yeah, Tom Hanks puts on the clinic in that movie. Like how his acting in it is just fantastic. Like literally, my top five lists would count Fury. So that's one, two, three, four or five six. That's seven movies right there, and then my top five all of them would be in the top five. That's how good those things are. So wait, all those came out in twenty fourteen. Yeah, and it was oh wow, what a stack to year then, And so Fury didn't even get nominated. And what you read is, and I know you know about this what I'm sure, but I did not. It's the time of the year when you release a movie has a great impact on whether you get nominated or not. And they released in October, which was too early in the season because I read why the others got selected and the others came around Christmas, and it had all the momentum for a February Oscars or March Oscars, and so because of the momentum, Fury just kind of got forgot about and it fell to the wayside. That's unfortunate. Definitely something good to watch. You got anything on that anything on drama? No, I had Wolf of Wall Street that's definitely a top Yeah, definitely a top Captain Phillips, Tom Hanks. Yeah, and I did my list wrong, but I had Forrest Gump said, Tom Hanks, you were going you were going up. I was going just top five, just great movies all the time. Yeah. Uh so have you seen the trailer for A Horizon? Have y'all seen that? Kevin Costner? I know, I watched the interview with Kevin Costner saying how was the conflict between that and Yellowstone? Yeah, and Brian mentioned this in the last podcast. He wanted to do Yellowstone again and then he quit. He just quit Yellowstone and he made a video and everything. They wouldn't give him a script. They just couldn't get the script written, and so he quit and he did this movie, Horizon. And which is funny is I looked up, well when does Horizon come out? And Horizon comes out June twenty eighth, which is what two days? Two days? So and then but the first one I read was August sixteenth. They're doing it like Yellowstone. There's chapters in this and this is the movie or the movie. Okay, So the actual movie gets released June twenty eighth, and the next one gets released August sixteenth, so it's like a series. So I thought that was kind of cool. He doesn't do bad movies, so it's gonna be good. It's gonna be great. It has to be great. And he said he really fell in love with Yellowstone and wanted to do Yellowstone, but he said he finally just quit him. Just no reason to keep trying to wait on them. So there's another movie coming out. Oh man, I meant to put her on the list. Twister. Oh oh, that's right. I have to the trailer for that, the remake they had one in what ninety six? Yeah, I need to watch the old one before I watched the new one. Yeah, wait, you haven't seen the old one. I haven't seen the old one. Oh my gosh. This class it's it's definitely worth getting. I was. I was proud that I had a Dodge Ram truck because is that truck feature is really bad ass? Yeah? In that in that movie? Yeah, that one's coming out. And then woody, have you seen the fake astronaut landing of the Moon? No? No, oh, dude, talking about how need look this up there? Dude, there's a movie What's God to the Moon and back? What I'm telling you, and I've been out of the loop. I'm telling you there's a movie coming out about now. It's fiction, but it's you know how fiction it becomes reality in Hollywood. It is what they did to fake the Loo Wat And it's got. It's got Margo Kidder, it's got I mean, it's got everybody. And I just saw the trailer for it the other day and I'm trying to remember now what the what the name of the movie was. But anyway, we'll look it up at during a break maybe. And then MEMI of the Week, I gave you the first word. It has to be what's on everybody's mind. You guys have got to have seen the Hawk to a girl? Oh God, I was wondering, all right, So I'm gonna pull it in too. Mem of the Week was I saw the one with a hot dog stand and the mimi was, don't worry, we will not howk to h You're a wiener. She is everywhere right now. Do you think she makes any capital from that? Or she's smart? She will start though like you. Yeah, you gotta be quick though, because that train will go quick. Yeah, how would you? Oh, Travis, you're you're a girlfriend. Her name Madeleine, Madeleine, Yeah didn't. She was kind of TikTok famous, right or yeah, she was on. She kind of backed off it since then. Yeah, but she had the greatest cat, the world's greatest cat. Oh, I thought was world's fattest with that too. He was big, he was pretty big. She she got him when he was eight. Yeah, and then he passed away unfortunately when he was about eleven or so, and he was he was all hit the family hard. Yeah, it hit the family hard. But yeah, that was she made a video and she before the cat, she still had some fame, uh to her. She's a beautiful girl. Yeah, and you guys are a beautiful couple. Thank you, thank you. Well. She had had a video that went crazy of one type of sound at some point in time, and it got picked up and picked up and it ended up on barstool. It was on ESPN and it was just a random TikTok video that just kind of went viral and she got all the verification, all all the blue check mark and everything like that. Yeah, it was on from there. That's what we're hoping for. She'll appreciate the shout out. Yeah, she appreciate. All right, good job, Madeline. Maybe you can have some influence on life, liberty, happiness, the hour long program. All right, let's go. Oh and did the Tucker interview? The Jeffrey Sachs thing. I've gotten hooked on. It's like I watched six hours of Tucker in two weeks. Yeah, he's such a good interviewer. Good man. But if you can sit down and watch the Jeffrey Sachs interview, it will make you hate your government from the sixties and the plotting and the lying and the CIA and the dumb ass people that we have running the country. And this guy is one of the most brilliant men I have ever heard. And if you if you're not convinced at the end of this that guy just told the absolute truth, even to his own detriment. There's no way you could leave there not thinking that. Guys real, So highly recommend trying to find Jeffrey Sachs. It's s a C. H S. But that's it for drama onto sports. Me hand signals like you gotta go well, I don't talked too much. I don't want to under Everything's great, man, You're doing great. That's awesome. To make sure cut a frish. That's good. That's good. That's good. We had to at least get to the part with THEO. Have you ever been to a football game at Tennessee? No? No, I have watched Alabama beat the breaks off of Tennessee at Bryant Denny Stadium about twenty eighteen. Me and my dad we used to go down all the games and we picked Tennessee one year. You're a big Bama fan, right, yeah. Almost. It's like a vomit yeah, that vomit orange. It's just it's not orange. It's like puke orange. If you've ever seen that video that citrusy. I hate oranges. Well, Tennessee won the College World Series, and kudos to them, and first time since the very first time that they did the rankings that well it's the second time. The first year they did it in ninety nine, Miami won the College World Series, so no one had done it in twenty five years until this year. The number one seed went in and then won it. But man, they did it in God, the College World Series this year was fantastic. It was awesome. There were so many games and what I love about it and I just a couple of things here that come to me about college baseball. And I try to flip over because I'm an Orioles fan, and I try to watch a major league game, which of course the Orioles aren't on my local area, which is absurd. But I mean, these kids care. They bunt the ball. I mean Texas A and M. That dude had a two strike bunt and he put it down perfectly and made it to second base. I had to do it, I mean that dude. I mean they make mistakes. I mean even the last inning when they were up to up to maybe up three, and they let two runs come through, and the pitcher is laughing, like, you know, this is just crazy that we just threw a wild pitch and we just let now we're down one run or only up one run with the tying run at the plate. That takes me back to Brian, when we were younger. There's four of us catchers on the on the Red Sox. Yeah, and uh, anytime, you know, we were young, so just learning everything. Anytime we would drop a ball, wild pitch anything, Brian, this shows you how what a little league dad Brian was. He would say, it's called catcher, not Dropper and Brian and Trent, they all had I remember so many things that you wouldn't even imagine that I remember so out from then. That's Travis. I know Travis because he's friends with Perry my son, and Logan, Brian's son. And when we were all coaches, David, Travis's dad was a coach and the three of us coached together. And that's how I know Travis too. And you were our catcher and you're our ace pitcher too, CRUs of smoke back in the day. Yeah, he's on fire. He's on fire. Yeah. Man, we had some some good good days that back then. But dude, the Tennessee guy that catches the ball in center field and his eye black is still on the wall, loses everything except the ball. Yeah, he keeps the ball and his face smacks the wall. Is there any major leaguer that's going to do that? They well, they played off the wall. Yeah, it's a business decision. Yeah, they're not gonna get hurt. Yeah, But these kids, I mean, they pin their ears back for that coach or all their coaches. How about Texas A and M Their coach goes to Texas the next day, did the same thing at TCU. Oh is that right? He did the same thing at TCU. He told him he was like, I'm not interested in the A and M job, and then it was like the next day or the following days after that he was at A and M. So like Nick Saban, Well, while we didn't see that coming, yes, nobody saw it coming. Yeah, that was kind of crazy. I mean, I really I was surprised when I heard that story that I don't know, maybe things And if you hear about the monies, you think Texas is more royalty than Texas A and M. But it's not. Texas A and M. I think has the biggest endowment of any of the SEC schools. I would have always thought Texas, Yeah, Texas, Alabama both kind of like we have to get Dare, We'll have to get Dave to text men. Well, no, I got my bad to day. I look at and live review research. That's perfect. So anyway, congrats to Tennessee. It was fun watching, oh man, all those games. Your heart was in your throat at some point. They were definitely the best team. As much as I hate Tennessee, Yeah, they were definitely the best team. And I know it's just SEC man, if you can make it through the SEC, there's a good chance you're going to win the College for Little Series. Indeed, Christian Moore's that guy was a beast. He's a beast. Yeah, yeah, probably a top five draft pick. Don't you think he's up there? I don't know about top five. There's a lot of stuff that goes into that drive. But all right, NASCAR? Did you get to watch any NASCAR? Is that not? Really? Just supported? So not really my sport. You know. I got a couple of guys that I cheer for. Yeah, but I flipped on the F one race. Yeah, on the very last lap I saw for staff and pull it away. As you know, how much for shock there? You pretty much don't miss anything. That last two seasons has been like that. It's just he's going to win. However, I will say the people that are in second place, I mean literally for the last year, have been at least thirty seconds behind him. They're at least now able to see him, and if the tire situation had worked better, they could have won, so they're at least smelling his exhaust. It's amazing to me how the same guy can win these races over and over and over again, and his teammate is like down at eighth. That's how much better he is than his teammates. Usually in F one if you look, because all the cars are pretty much built identical all the all the teammates are usually right next to each other's the team. It's a they call the Constructor Series for a reason. But this year in the Constructor Series, red Bull obviously he's winning, but not too far behind, and then Ferrari's second. But McLaren has moved up out of nowhere. And if you are not an F one fan, what got Brian and I to be an F one fan is Netflix The Drive to Survive. Okay, and if you watch and I don't know if you need to go back to season one, but there are some great things that happen. But if you go through the Netflix series, you knew you'll need to know everything. You need to know their personal the cameras are right on them, and you know everything about them, the owners, and it's it's it's the thing that will introduce you to F one. Check one races. They start early in the morning, don't tame love it. I get up early in the morning and everybody else got a little coffee and watch a race. So yeah, and then Stanley Cup. We don't talk about hockey too much, but the Panthers did beat the Oilers, so the Stanley Cup stayed in the good old USA and apparently has been in the USA and not Canada since nineteen ninety three. We've been dominating the dominating hockey. Yeah. Have you ever been to a hockey game? That is one of the few major league or big sports I've gone to minor league hockey. It'll change your life. Yeah, it'll change your life, I mean, said the cane. Yeah. We used to go down there a couple of years back. Buddy of mine had season tickets and we sat in a because you can't sit too close. Yeah, but you can't sit too far away. It's like right in the middle. That's where the expensive tickets are for Yah, I understand. And P and C Arena and Raleigh is where they play, so it's an NCAA basketball arena. Yeah. That place is absolutely bumping, like vibration off the ground. They had Ryan Blaney. They have this little thing at the beginning where they ring the hurricane sound. Yeah, and he was up there doing that. People get fired up. Man, it's it's the next level experience. I'd like to go. Brian and Iva also talked about Perry is living in Nashville, which that's where the next race is for NASCAR, and I texted him today and he said he wondered how much the tickets were. So I don't think he's going. But the Nashville Predators, the hockey team, Yeah, that place looks like it's intense. So there's a lot of money going into Nashville right now for the stadiums. Yeah, they got But the Titans. Aren't they getting a new stay or no one talks about it. I thought there was talks about it at some point. Well, that's the time to live in. Perry's loves living there, so all right. And I don't know if you saw this note about seeing us business services. I did, Okay, I read it. Well, I think it's just that the older commercial. Yeah, but if you guys can what's what's the lady's name? I'm here every week, Charlene. If you look up Charlene and you need bookkeeping done, go to is it Bedford Avenue? Yeah? Uh? And Maine and Main building beautiful on the corner right there. That's the one that Brian's company helps critivate beautiful, beautiful innovation. They just moved right, Yeah, they were up at the y m c. A. Yeah, look at you come on some research, I'm telling you. All right, so let's go to what's happening. It's time for news, all right. So apparently Sai Brad was that a train? I thought that's what I heard. Yeah, uh and actually, like literally you have media squats with the train on here at the exact same time on the screen. Look, man, we just do it up here. You're the man. So our local elections we were. We made the news, national news because Bob Good, what do I know? You're on vacation, by the way, you have great time. You guys went to Disney World, right, we sure did, and then stopped in Charleston on the way back for a few days. Never been to Charleston. That's beautiful. I've been for baseball, for travel baseball, but I've never been for vacations. Weather was great. I was there, I was at I was at the trip. My girlfriend's actually going out of Charleston tomorrow. Oh really, yeah, that's the right trip man. Oh, there's so much to do. And then we went over to al Palms, the beach over there. Oh it was beautiful. It's just some news you're trying to break. Yeah, bachelorette like now different, different right now now, yeah, in case your dad's listened, Yeah, yeah, a different bachelorette trip for now. That's awesome. So what happened while you were away, Woody? Is Bob good in the election? Were you gone when that the election? Yes? Okay, So of sixty thousand votes cast, he lost by three hundred totally. That's type margin total votes. I think it's a half percent. So I think it's within the window where I think they had to recount votes, and it could be there's could be a new election. Huh. I'm not exactly sure really yet. Yeah. And in Lynchburg, the big mayor race that was not mayor vice mayor. The vice mayor is running for city council. They had two thousand votes cast and it was decided by twenty votes. And in that one they have mail in ballots that they go count afterwards. And the reason we made national news is when the one guy that lost showed up, they had already started opening the mail in ballots and there was no one to verify that they were mailed. So if we not learned anything like election poll integrity, mean there you I mean it's and three hundred votes such a tight margin, did you know? And I just learned this today. But if the difference is less than one percent, the person who is calling for a revote has to pay to have it revote. And if it's more than one percent, did electoral College pays for oh, okay, or however it goes. But that's I learned that today. Huh. And I could be wrong. Someone double checked Dave yeah check senator and Dave fact check get him corrected. I'm kind of anyway. That's kind of interesting. And if if you recall we interviewed Bob good yeah and in and we had told him or not told him, but when during our conversation it was at least the materials that we had. Your number one thing is the border. The number two thing is our debt, and it should be one and two. But if election integrity isn't your top, then those other two things aren't. It doesn't matter. And he got bitten by it, I mean possibly, but it really sucks for him. It always sucks to me for our side, the Republican side, where like we eat our own and Bob Good makes a vote to get rid of the speaker, and then the speaker comes down on him with ten million dollars against him against his four million. So all the ads that you've been hearing for two months about him being a liberal and all that it bit him. I mean, it's kind of sucking that he was able to get fifty percent of the vote essentially, but I was hoping that LLH BUNP would put him over. Yeah what he said about the uh well it slipped my mind out. But oh the bills, Yeah, how would they say, you know on the news, Oh well Bob Good voted down this, this and this. Yeah. And then he's like, well, look to you, this this a thousand page bill. Yeah, you didn't read into it. You just took some points. Yeah, and these other points contradict these points, like that's why I voted down. That's right. That's such a it's such a it's such a game. I can't stand the dishonesty, even our side. I mean, I just I hate those types of ads. Anyway, Yeah, that that really stunk for him, And again we lost a good conservative possibly and then we got a guy that's in and the money that brought him up, that got him elected is Kevin McCarthy money. So who do you think he's got to listen to when he has to go vote on something. And that's how they get rid of the macas and that's they got rid of one. And which really sucks is Donald Trump went against him. That's that's what I heard him. Yeah, and that's what killed him more than anything else. So disappointed and all that. We got the debate coming up tomorrow night. Are you a debate politics person? I watched the debates. I get a little bit fired up. Yeah, at the debates. So the last debate I watched, I watched a group of people and I kind of got kicked out of the room. Oh so I got a little bit too fired up. But I'm going to say a debate, I am definitely watching this when the ladies are out of town. I'm watching this with the boys. A debate is like the super Bowl for me. I don't want to watch with anybody. I want to be able to hear what they say. I don't want to hear what anybody else's opinions and thoughts are. I want to see the commercials on a Super Bowl. I want to see the play myself. I don't you know. I'm kind of anti social when it comes to big things like that. But I am not watching the debate. You're not watching this one will not because Trump makes me cringe and I love Trump, and sometimes when he answers, I just want to go into the TV and I just want to shake him by the lapels and say, come on, man, that's not the question. It's not about you. I know you know the answer. Just answer it the right way. His best strategy is the best strategy definitely is twenty one percent inflation? How much your mortgage is, What was the difference between four years ago and what it is today. This man, if he's here again, is going to wreck the country worse. That's his best play. But it's not going to be about that. It's going to be I had the best you know, yeah strategy when it came to COVID and you took money from the Chinese. If you just let him talk, he's gonna he's gonna hang himself. Yeah, just let him talk. Oh yeah, he's been holding by to speak, he's been hold up at can't Camp David. Yeah, for the last four days. Yeah, doing practicing the debate. He does two ninety minute sessions per day. He's done it for the last four days. Now, look at the research you're bringing in here. Well, man, I had to call on a couple other people for that, because this this is my political fill for the week. This is what I write down. And remember you and Brian talking about all this stuff. Well here's the thing I had to bring my own today. I hate that's awesome. I hate the idea that they made this debate ninety minutes long instead of two hours. They've got two commercial breaks. They're sitting down and their microphones are off, and there's nobody there. There's no crowd. Now, who does all all of those checkboxes that we just who does that help? Of course it helps fide mister Biden. Right, So that's why it's gonna be so cringe worthy for me. And I know they're gonna pump Biden up with whatever easy questions. Well, it's the injection whatever super drug, whatever, the super drug that he takes. They're gonna hit him with that right before the thing starts. He's going to do wonderfully because everybody's expecting him to fall asleep or stutter and he's going to do great and everybody's gonna be like, see, that's why he should be pressed. That's why. So I'm gonna wait till after I'm gonna watch X and I'm gonna watch TikTok and I'm gonna see the clips that my algorithm will show me, and then I'll text you. I'll text you, Travis during the event. You tell me how it's going. It's you know, I feel like Trump is a little bit too far, too much on the debates. You know, that's why they're cutting the MIC's off. Yeah, he would just shut his mouth. Yes, he's rude. He's rude. He's a New Yorker. Yeah, people forget to say that about him. The dude is from New York. You know, so many people would love him. He didn't have that extra edge to him. Maybe he's a big real estate mobile, he's a businessman. List A lot of those guys have that edge. I'm the biggest pro Trump thing. I mean, the dude could take a dump on the floor during the campaign and I'm still gonna I'm voting for him no matter what what. I'm a maga guy through and through. But I just I'm not gonna be able to watch it. So let's talk about the material that Biden's going to have come with. Let's go to cut one these black soldiers for a link, and this thing's flying to patriots and slave dance free, rest their lives in every war since the founding, since the finding of our ideals, and we don't know fully what Americans what. I gotta taper it off there a little bit. You see how he was really strong, Oh God, and then he just forgot what he was talking about. And then he said, we forgot what American soil is. Dude. I'm just proud it's going to be that kind of night, please. I'm also worried it's going to be that kind of night. And then Gavin Newsom or Big Mike are going to come in and swoop up the campaign during the DNC in August. So it's like two fears. I have. I have a fear that Biden's going to do wonderful and then I have a fear he's going to do so badly that they're going to save him with Gavin newsomber Michelle. But he'll make the call after this debate. Yeah, because there's no hiding into that point. Yeah, exactly. So they're going to just do what they do. So let's talk about the law fair thing that they're doing. So we all know that part of the campaign's Here's something that I wish Trump would say tomorrow. Why is it that your third in command in the Justice Department resigned eight days after meeting with Alvin Brad and, of all the people, of all the places that he would go work for, he went to work for Alvin Brack. You tell me the Justice Department isn't helping the State Law Office in New York, Right, That's what he should bring up. But that's not what he's going to bring up. But we all know that that's what they've done, and we all know Trump is just going to he's going to get I actually texted Brad and Bryan, what's the chances that he calls him an MF or or an SOB during the camp during the debate, So all his chance, I'm telling you a chance. All right, So let's listen to what Judge Judy, of all people says about lawfair, ketle loving, the justice system working or is the justice system being manipulated? I would be happier as someone who owns property in Manhattan. If the District Attorney of New York County would take care of criminals who were making it impossible for citizens to walk in the streets and use the subway, to use his efforts to keep those people off the street, then to spend five million or ten million dollars of taxpayer's money trying Donald Trump on this nonsense. That's my view. But I, as a taxpayer in this country, resent using the system for your own personal self aggrandizement. Now, he didn't know. That's what you think the DA did in Manhattan. That's what I think. I mean, if you look, he had to twist yourself into a pretzel to figure out what the crime was. He doesn't like him, New York City didn't like him for a while. Trump Trump, What do you think of Donald Trump? What do I think of him? I think he was a good businessman, a real estate guy, and he was certainly terrific on The Apprentice. All right, So anyway, it's just we all know it. How we let our government get away with it is beyond me. It is another reason to go watch Jeffrey Sachs at Tucker to talk about the corruption of the government and how they do essentially coups, how they get rid of the higher ups and countries and in a dirty way. So that's they're using the justice system that Joe Biden said, that's what they were going to do. He actually was on stage and said, we have to find a way to not let him run again. We have to use the constitution, tax and spend yep, tax and spend all right, So you got to add for state farm, I sure do, all right, let's play it. When you walk reliable insurance, you should look at your local state farm agent. That agent is David Homager. He has been a longtime supporter of Life, Liberty Happiness and my agent Home Auto and even in life insurance. He can take care of your needs. Nobody likes having to pay for something you may never use, but when you do need it, you want to make sure you have somebody who can deliver. That is David Homemaker and Stay Farmed. Their friendly staff have over fifty plus years of combined experience. Call him today at five four h five, eight, six eight, one nine four or stop by their office next to Arby's or four sixty like a day David Wife, Liberty, Happiness, eighty million, Miami, come on, man with Brian fly truth over facts. Let's just hope there's a moment like that tomorrow. Please. I'm going to record it so I can watch it if I feel if I feel like it wasn't cringey enough, like it wasn't too cringey, then I might watch go back rewatch. I mean, I'm an. I had to watch debates when I was twelve years old. I've loved politics since I was a kid. Y'all know this show Mystery Science Theater. Yeah, I loved it. Y'all should do you and Brian, y'all should do that. But with the debate where we show it and then have two of y'allogists just our heads, just your heads, the song wet of our heads making a commentary of it. That's genius. You want to come to my house? Yeah, let's do it. We'll do it. I'll record it and then we can post do it later. We'll come up with lines one. All right, so eighty million, my ass. I was going to skip to it because it's going to be a quick show today, but our sidekick here talked me into doing it. Okay, let's listen to what Cuomo Andrew Cuoma has to say about law fair and cut thirteen. The trial in New York, the one he got convicted for, was the greatest fundraising bonanzas he is now. He was lagging behind Biden and now he's pulled quite a bit ahead. That trial was the greatest recent people yead to send their checks for five, ten, twenty five, whatever, Donald Trump. So I was always with you on the one in New York, the hush money trial. I don't think they should have brought that one. It was just always going to look like a sex case and people were always just going to look at it that way. So anyway, that case, the Attorney general's case in New York, frankly, should have never been brought. And if his name was not Donald Trump any if he wasn't running for president, I'm the former AG in New York. I'm telling you that case would have never been brought. And that's what is offensive to people, and it should be because if there's anything left, it's belief in the justices the trial. I mean that. If you guys, remember Cuomo was the governor when COVID hit, and do you remember him and Trump getting into it big time? At the time, and Trump sent the damn big white boat that had the Red Cross on it, and Cuomo didn't put people on it, so they took it away kind of a thing. It was that kind of or whatever, the air thing. Yeah, the ventilators, and he said that Trump wasn't given him ventilators and stuff like that. Remember how they went at it during COVID. That same guy is the one that just defended Trump that he should never be in this Alvin Bragg thing. It's ridiculous and even said, I'm the former tenor attorney general. I didn't know that. I didn't know that Andrew Cuomo was. So anyway, that's the bs that we always hear. So now in between, I think we got Carolina Kevin Collin early. I'm not sure that that or not, So maybe be on the lookout all right for that, Woodie, And thanks for sticking around for the first forty five minutes. We're a little bit behind, talked a little bit longer, all right, but we're gonna yeah, we're gonna squeeze as fas as we can. Let's listen to a little bit more eminem. I've been on an eminem hunt today. Man, what's session, so he went straight to the radio station the very next day. Hey fat, I'm show you nif it's coming at you could swasonic speed devastated and I know the head is I've been waiting for the day to think the fl up was on the area because the way to get him calivated music. Oh he's too mainstream. But that's what they doing. They get music. It's not kip pop, it's pop. Because I found out right shock wrapped like that. I don't know what parts do you ext me know? One of the car? All right, welcome back? What's up? Special? Looked? Looked? Okay, we got that's something that's like my favorite part of any of Eminem's songs is that little clip there of the d thing. Man, he's incredible. All right, So let's jump into instead of top ten because we're cutting everything in half. Although we're bleeding over a little bit. Maybe we'll get into the top sun ray, but let's do the top ten, top five. I need I don't have a top five bumper. Let's do top ten and I'll just your top ten for the week. She's more like a fine, Hey, more like a five. That's what we're doing with more like a five this week. All right, so Kevin's gonna be calling in here just a little bit. So I was gonna cut the top ten short, but because we have substitution Day, these are the top five sports substitutions that I could come up with. All right, so this is These are players that substituted for players, and it became momentous. So and I know this one's right after your heart. So I put this in the list for you, Travis, and for Dave but Tua substituting for j Jalen Hurts. I respect, I appreciate you putting it on the list, but it is way too little. Oh really, it's way too You think you should be up there at one one at one win a national championship, to win a national championship, Yeah, well listen to these others here. This is like when this I love watching the Top ten on ESPN. They still do top ten and number seven should be number one. It's like they'll do that each week, and I'm like, how that kitch? You find six more plays better than numbers, and sometimes they're not. So I'll give you that. But listen to this one. Patrick Mahomes for Alex Smith. I mean, great draft pick. That's pretty great, that's pretty legendary. Yeah, I mean that was the heck of a step in. How about just thinking about this organization. So Brett Farr for Don Mkowski, who's a uva quarterback by the way. So Don Mkowski was a great quarterback, not great, but he was a good quarterback. And Brett Farr stepped in for him and never turned over the reins for I don't know how long. He was the longest starting quarterback consecutive games. And then Aaron Rodgers. I mean, how about that chain. It's a great chain. Yeah, it is a great chain. But you see, yeah, I couldn't find four other things better than Jalen. And then the next year, Jalen coming in when Tua was hurt. Oh man, wasn't that great being a great team player before he went to Oklahoma? Which completely respect that decision. Yeah, coming in like that. I went at the game against Georgia that was stepping up cold off the bench. Yeah that was awesome. But who do I think is better with the Farv and Aaron Rodgers. I'm a Brett fav guy. To me, he's like the Donald Trump. I mean he's like that dude. He changed football, and he played it with a reckless abandon that Aaron Rodgers probably a better arm, he's probably more accurate, he's probably knows the game better. But Aaron Rodgers was the guy. Like one of my favorite memis is who was who was the black guy Wins Winston. He played at Florida State, Jameis wins Jameis Winston. There was a year he had thirty five touchdowns, but he had thirty five interceptions. Yeah he was in college, Yeah he was. He was playing the acc all right down. So the MEMI was ef it, somebody's gonna catch it. Yeah, I mean yeah, that's the way Brett Farv was. And he just thought his receivers were better than your d backs and I'm just gonna throw it. And it worked out more often than it didn't, and if it didn't, he just like, eff it, I'm gonna just I'll do it. Yeah, So I would say he was. And then most people probably think this is the number one is Tom Brady for Drew Bloodsoe. So if you know the story, Drew Bloodsoe got hurt and then Tom Brady took over and he was so good. Drew Bloodsoe, I don't think he ever got another shot, unless it was a substitution type thing. But I don't think he ever got another really chance at it. And Drew Bludsoe was a damn good quarterback. It's just history was written. He took it and ran with it. Yeah, and the last one here only your dad probably knows this. I don't know it, but historically speak it I completely agree with. So there used to be a saying, and some people will still stay. Don't be a Wally Pip. So Wally Pip was a damn good first baseman for the New York Yankees, but through a stomach ache or a fever, said I can't play today, coach, So the coach replaced him with Lou Garrick. Lou Garrick then played twenty and thirty games. He never got back in don't be a Wally Pip. That's a hell of a substitution, right, So that's number one on my list. You got anything? I mean, I got Garreg pitp at five and then four could be argument for five. James Harrison over Joey Porter save the Steelers about six million. And Joey Porter was such a high ranking teammate that the young, thirty four year old coach couldn't come in and really take control of that team. From what I understand now, it was when I was younger when that was happening. Three, I got Brady Bledsoe. And then two is when I was talking with you about a little bit early. It's a little bit different. But the Kurk Gibson Game two, Game one, nineteen eighty eight, Yeah, off the bench, Yeah, got down two in the count, two outs, Ricky Henderson on first base. No, no, no, not Ricky Henderson on first base. But hit the two run home run to walk off the first game. And I can't believe what I just saw. And that's Kurt Gibson yanked the jainsaw. Yeah that was. That is awesome. And then Jalen Tua, Yeah I knew that. Yeah, fellas, I think y'all are missing one. I'm gonna chop in and then I've got Steve Young and Joe Montana. Oh I remember I saw that. Yeah, I remember, like during that was I was a huge forty nine Ers fan, Joe Montana fan. I remember him going out, and then I remember Steve Young coming in. And then you felt it. Yeah, you're like, oh, man, my man's out, man, this is this is it? And then he went to Kansas City after that was that? That was it? Yeah, I remember that. That was that is a great substitution. Strings girls up, my man? What's up? Trent? Hey? Look at that well old machine wood. He's here out here and Kevin, I would like to introduce you to Travis Baxter. Travis is our TV Kevin. What are you doing? Oh man? This is Kevin turning live here out of your South Carolina guys out there. Thank you for turning into life, liberty and happiness. New guy O TV otw's on the line that with me in the background with the audio. Got a little bit of news down here. We got DJ Burns and dropped forty five hands. Going to the NBA draft coming up here within not too long ago, and Monday night was a historical night. Six one hundred and six did million dollars was approved in Charlotte, North Carolina. They helped date a Temperando Carolina Panthers improved. Ah, Trent, So you were you how did you end up feeling about that? What did we talk about last time? Yeah? I know you were thinking that they shouldn't if if the common person has their taxes raised that the guy that's a billionaire shouldn't get any money. They guess what, my friend what zero? Oh, he didn't get it. That's how the seat note zero times. Has it ever been successful in the history of cities providing taxpayer moneys to increase stadiums. Some of the stadiums has been built by taxpayer money and they're still paying the debt and they've tore down the stadium. Well, let me ask you this. Why did they say yes that you got to ask me, ask me the statistics. Your city is now asking for billions. Saint Louis, they're asking for two point one billion dollars of taxpayers' money. There's been stadiums that has received those moneies and literally it has not worked. Since none of those cities that has got provided by taxpayer money has been successful in revitalization of the stadiums that they their city's hosts. If you don't believe me, research it and it's there. I don't have to. You just told me, just told me everything I need to know. We believe you. I'm against it now. So why do you think Charlotte did it? Then? Dude, they did not even have an economical analysis professional. They didn't even ask. They voted within thirty minutes. It had to be on agenda. And I don't know why it had to be so urgent, but it was very urgent. And you know how it is with the Supreme Court and other places, like they take their time, they'll just come out methodically with something that they've been festering on or debating on or voting on. This was like pushed. It just came publicly known like six weeks ago. It was brought to the Council's attention. There was no research done. Normally, you would have a marketed analysis going on, you would have different people being input but this was just flat out fast, just like the Democrats do us. They go behind closed doors at two o'clock in the morning goat on a bill that has fifty five thousand pages that nobody reads, but they have the earmarks in there of one hundred and sixty five million dollars going to be or fifty four million dollars going to therapy for strippers. I mean, it's just like what the helw your corporations are. Let me ask you something. Have you talked to your brother since he's been in Cabo. Yes, how did that? You guys have had a little bit of angst and little animosity the last couple of weeks. I was, have you guys patched it up? I don't have no animosity towards Brian. Brian is Brian. He just don't have no compassion. Sometimes he's kind of leather skinned. He don't. He don't. He's not a very sentimental type person. But he's alright. I just rolled it off my back. He's my brother, you know. It's just like the way you do your brother. Yep, that's a good way to do it. So who do you having? Who do you have in Nashville this weekend? Before the race? Tell me who you got before the race starts? Man, Trent, don't even do that because you tell me yesterday you like, I was going bet on bail and then I went here and I didn't do this. I thought about you the whole time that that excuse is not going to sound good. But it really was who I would have put my money on. I just didn't do it. Well, that was New Hamster. I'm not a New Hamster fans. The race sucks. Man. How many ears do you have? How many years or ears. How many ears do you have? Two? And how many mouths do you have one? Okay, that means you're supposed to listen twice as as you much speak. Good point, because if you listen, then you take that in as a sponge and you dissect it. But just don't don't hesitate. Too many people hesitate in life, and when they do, they don't like change. They like to hesitation and procrastination. But just live your life with taking the plungs, jumping, doing new things changing. Uh, you'll, I mean, I mean what I've ever thought I would be down here in York, South Carolina, left my family up there, been down here. No, But when you take a chance on venturing out, Wood is in that same category, just kind of venturing out. Yes, you're gonna have downfalls, but when you fall down and you get knocked down, fall on your back because if you can look up, you can get up. Good many you got the motivational speaker inspiring. Hey get this. You don't even know this, but Travis Baxter is starting his own business and out there building and how old are you? Travis? There we go, I'm twenty two. We started the company in twenty two. Look at you man's out there with his hands and building stuff. And I mean, I'm telling you what a go get her. I love it good to be. To be comfortable will ruin you to be uncomfortable. It is the only way to grow. M I like that, Kevin. I'm uncomfortable right now. Hey, Uh, how to get from ear's mouth to where we are now? And we never did find out who you picking for Nashville. You know I'm gonna go in a long shot and I'm gonna say that mister Rowley bush Man, he is in need big time. That would be an awesome win. Yes, And he's he's he's like Jimmy Johnson when he came in to driving the new new Gen X car and stuff. Those old drivers are drivers. They're wheeling it there. There's some dirt driving fools like they know how to operate a vehicle. And when you take them out of something to their comfort though, stick them into something that this new car is. It's takes him a while to get a customed but once they figure out the formula, then you better watch out because you know that just as well as I do, everything you do is mainly within your mind. When you start controlling your mind, and your mind not controlling you. There ain't a damn thing in front of you that's gonna stop you right on. And once he gets that perspective and he starts driving, you're gonna start him start seeing him winning more races, and once he gets on the ball, that's it. I've kind of become a fan of his because he went over to the children's team. I hoped he would make him better and he had a good little start, but they sure have squandered it. But how about the debate? Are you gonna watch it tomorrow night? Will you be able to see it? I will be able to see it. Now, we'll watch it. But I'm gonna tell you right now, and all the thousands of people that are listening, you just get ready for manipulation, because that's what's gonna happen throughout the whole debate. It's gonna be a one sided debate where they're gonna favor because it's just gonna be that way. And I don't care how many people sit here and try to debate. It's not all you gotta do is watch because it's already leading up that the scales already tipped in that side. So can I get you do me a favor? Can you text me how it's going tomorrow? I want I want Travis to do the same thing. What are you gonna watch it? Yeah? I think I will tell you. I want to know how it's going, but I'm not gonna watch it. Uh uh. My heart gets hurt, like literally, I have a physical pain in my heart when Trump starts getting off top of and about himself and start sounding rude, which I love, but I know it doesn't work across the country. And I wish man just I wish Vek was up there. I wish he had Vivek's talent. You know what I'm talking about, Just the guy that slay you with words and is honest, truthful and not about himself. Oh, I wish could do that for him. I was hoping would be the VP. But how about you, he's gonna there's a chance he's going to announce the VP tomorrow night at the debate. Let's let's go around the table. Who do we want to who do we want to hear him? Pick? Who do you want Kevin VP? Pick? It's probably going to either be him or it's gonna probably be Mark Robinson from North Carolina runners. Really you're the first Mark Robinson guy. I've heard I want Mark Robinson to be the governor. I don't want him. I mean ya, North Carolina needs him. Wow, that would be huge. How about you, Travis. I think what best suits him to win the election is Scott Scott from South Carolina, South Carolina. I think that's what best suits him to win the elect He's a good chance to win. He loves I mean Trump loves him. I mean I Trump's Trump said that he talks about He said that Scott talks about Trump better than Trump talks about Trump. And who talks better about Trump than Trump? No? Better? Yeah, Yeah, exactly. That's awesome. I thought you would. I think it would be a surprise with old Sarah could be dude. I think I think he brings her out. Yeah, you've got the female You've got like him. It's gold. Yeah, and she's really good. Why I thought your second choice my second high choice. That's a a vec And man, I've been hearing not that I wonder, but I've been hearing Younkin that that that's a meeting that's happened this week and they're supposed to be together on Friday, your honest opinion, don't you feel like it's a very stiff ticket though, Like you know what I'm trying to say, Like it's very like they need I feel like they need something to balance Trump out and not another business like you know, tall, clean cut white, Garrett White. Yeah, what you're saying, you need somebody needs a different, different color on the spectrum. Then just something different that's like on the other end, it's a good point bring them around like Desantas would be too much like Trump too exact same thing. So I would love the Santus. So that the key part is the VP. It's only a four year run. Trump can't run again, so whoever's second in command almost has the lead to start in four years from now, so it's a big choice. Just then from Dad here says that they say Rubio would help him get Pennsylvania and Tino Rubio it was from Florida. I hadn't heard the influence Pennsylvania's because of the Hispanic. Yeah, so they says because of the Latino. Bo Oh, Okay, I'm not a big Rubio fan. I mean he's okay, he was that young guy that started up hot. But I just haven't been a big fan of his, but I wouldn't be surprised. I saw he was on the list short list. What did you have, Kevin? I was gonna ask you a question like, I mean, you know how this world is and America is, and how society is this day, we're just sad ways upside down, one side up down the other one. If he stands up, you know what I would do. This is me if I was TRN I get up fan. Right there at the end, I said, while we're on there, I'm just gonna go ahead and announce my VP pick. And they asked me who it is. I say, Joe bad. I heard someone someone said that they he should pick someone else just to get that, just to squeeze a few of those Democratic votes. Yeah, yeah, I mean, you know, Joe Manson Manson Mansion has been the guy that they've talked about being a you know, being a guy that could be somewhat moderate conservative if you will, and still get the other side. But I don't know. You got a word of the day, Kevin. Yeah, I thought that was the worst hot or pot. It wouldn't think by word of the day is Yes, you had the long pot. You had a dramatic pouse there, and I assumed that was the worst. The word of the day is are you saying p or h? He's saying hawk hawk like hawk? Oh my god, No, ain't Joe t I'm country. I can't y'all can't understand we were hawk to us spit on that thing that was last week, Brian, I mean, how to get his tomato plants to grow. I don't just sit on that thing, all right? What you got from where the day is hot. Trent likes ft coffee, hot hot women. I literally have no clue what he's saying next. I know he's the only person that's like, I have my hand over the button, just in case. We were explaining what Carolina Kevin where it stemmed from. And I don't know if he still listens. He usually gangs up. I don't think he does listen. But Brian and I absolutely loved this show. It was Imus in the Morning and he was a radio DJ. Don Imus was fantastic and he was like on the radio back in the days of Wolfman Jack, Like, that's how old he is this and you wouldn't know who that is, but that's like back in the seventies where DJs can trolled radio and set record sales and they were really powerful. And Dinamus is one of those guys, and he just stayed on and he got into politic political type shows and man, he was in New York and Brian and I would listen to him all the time, and he got a TV show, but his brother would come on, fred Imis and so that was where we start talking to my brother Brad. And then Brad didn't want to do it anymore. And Carolina Kevin is fred amis there, there is You don't know what's gonna come. He's just like that dramatic pause the yes to him. That's just the way he talks. You just waiting, well, are you gonna go or not? That's literally how he talks. If you're just talking to him on the phone, it's like that. And the guy it's freaking hilarious, always has been. So can we do a half at it? Sure? It's got to be number one, and let's do it. Can't our show and not do the number one favorite segmented show. It's my number one. Yes, God bless our troops, God bless America. Stock one, Oh man, oh, Emma Emma didn't know that that was her first week fiasco, and I mean, obviously she didn't edit that part out, but she took so I think she took some real personal uh hurt that I was so hurt by it. She told me the next week when I came in that she had it right this time. So in her defense, I have a lot of unnecessary bumpers to the boards. You don't want to let something go, do you. That's true. I hang on to it. You've made it, You've produced it. It's hard to let go something that you created. Yeah, all right, So this kind of goes in line with the debate. So let's hear Sage Steele is one of my absolute favorite reporters. I remember her when she was probably twenty five years old and she was in DC doing sports. And now I don't know how she is, maybe mid forties now, but I mean it's been a while, and she has always been fantastic, fantastic. She was on ESPN. She was a mainstay, almost as big as oh, she states to Hannah's Hannah Storm Hannah. Yeah, I think that is. She was up there like that, not quite that level, but she was on all the time and now she's not on ESPN, and listen to what this is. This is in the last year she left ESPN. Cut thirty five. Listen to what it was like late late breaking news. You did an interview with Biden a couple of years back, and then the scuttle butt is it was all sort of pre scripted. Is that is that fair to say? Very much? Word for word, word for word, here are the questions, yes, which oh, trusts me as a journalist. It made me sick, like that's just wrong, because it's one thing to have the questions scripted, and which no ever happens in my career. It was the first time in twenty eight years, first time. Almost The worst part to me was that I wasn't allowed to ask a follow up question. Oh, is that part of the stipulation? Yes, So if he said something, which he did a couple of things about his thoughts on why the Major League Baseball All Star Game should be taken out of Atlanta at that point racist voter laws, and I wanted to push back and say, well, what do you mean by this? Even if it's just to clarify something. As a journalist, that's my job to listen and ask because it's not about me. It's about the viewers who are trying to listen to the commander in chief. And I wasn't allowed to even ask a follow up, and it was there's a lot more to the story, which what led to I think me getting the Biden interview, which I will reveal at some point. I'm not quite there yet, but I was at the same time, I'm not going to say no, okay, So what I didn't say before any of that, and I honestly didn't think about it. I'm a huge fan of hers is she's African American. She is fantastic, great with sports, great interviews, always like the kind of that thirty for thirty type of interviewer. So I hadn't thought about that until I just listened to it. Was they had her do that prescripted questions because she was African American. She said she will talk about it later, but alluded to it. And what was the subject that he kept wanting to mention? Taking away the All Star Game from Atlanta? You guys remember when that one. There's just few a couple of years ago and the Stacey Abrams and it was voter disenfranchisement, so it was because Georgia, after the reelection where Trump did not win in twenty they had that re election right because it was too close to count with Herscha Walker. And after those two elections, Georgia made mail in ballots illegal or ballot harvesting illegal. So there's not the drop boxes anymore, which is what the other states that we're going to find out cheat later this year are still doing. I haven't seen other states stop it. But because they passed that law, Stacy Abrams forced Major League Baseball to move the All Star Game from Atlanta. So because that story's hot, let's put Joe Biden on with a black female reporter and let her ask the questions that are pre written and that he knows and she can't follow up. She's a conservative? Would she would have pushed back? That's the only time they've done that. Oh, of course, that's right. So I'm leading to tomorrow night. If they did it to them. We already know that Hillary Clinton was given the questions beforehand at the debate with Bernie Sanders. I would not put it past CNN to do the same thing for Joe Biden. They've been prepping since for would you say, four days they've been at Camp David the past four days and any two sessions a day to ninety minute sessions a day, so he can get used to standing for that long. I don't think they're standing. I think one of the thing they're sitting. I think that's one of the rules that they're going to sit. Yeah, which is another thing. I think that's what Trump should say in the lead. Why are we Why are we not standing? The last debates? I stood? Why are we having two breaks the last debate we didn't? Why is this not two hours long? The last debates were the miracle drug only words so long? They got to shoot him on his second break. It's exactly right, take your peels over. Yeah. So I do love that Trump said he was willing to take a drug test before and after the event. He's so good. If he's that guy, I will watch it. Yeah. If I mean, if they did that with that's break every thirty minutes, right, Yeah, we've been talking for the thirty minute then, you know since then, I mean, it feels like nothing. Yeah, it feels like nothing. To go fast. It goes, It goes so fast. I can't believe. When I go home, I always think about the stuff I wish i'd said, meant to say, even when I write it down, we don't get to it. So and then the last thing I want to play and then we'll wrap up the show here, but is listen to how Jesse Waters. Now. He's the one that took over for Tucker Cross and on Fox News, and I don't watch it because of what they did to Tucker Cross, and I haven't watched Fox News since, but I'll get clips of him, and I like him, and if I was watching Fox News, I would probably probably watch. But listen to what he talks about. This is regarding Alvin Bragg and the lawfair stuff that we talked about, and the thing that I talked about, the DOJ conspiring with the state departner, because what they'll say is the Federal Department goes, oh, we're not part of New York. We don't We're the Feds. We wouldn't mess with that. So listen to Jesse Waters and then listen the very last clip of how NBC defends these words. So cut forty one. What we're about to show you is a timeline and you can decide for yourself. Right before Trump announces he's running for President. Joe Biden promises he'll stop Trump from taking power. We just have to demonstrate that he wont take power. If he does run, I'm making sure he, under legitimate efforts of our constitution, does not become the next president. Again, that message was heard loud and clear, because nine days later the Democrats send in the legal kamic cozies. November eighteenth, very important date. Garland appoints Jack Smith as special counsel on two different Trump cases. The same day, the eighteenth, Nathan Wade meets with White House lawyers for eight hours. The same day, the eighteenth, the number three guy at Biden's Justice Department, Matt Colangelo, gives his two week notice to start working with Alvin Bragg. What are the chances. On the same day, the four criminal cases against Donald Trump emerge from the Biden administration and come alive. Everything we just reported well documented, but talking about it's racist for a variety of reasons. That narrative makes no sense. It is factually false, and it's also dangerously and perniciously racist because it assumes that da Alvin Bragg, who is black, could not have executed this prosecution on his own without the supervision of a bunch of white elders. It's amazing how they will take true facts that are just rattled off and then, just like they did with Sage, Steele used an African American to interview him about the subject. If they can get the black prosecutor, then if you say anything about them helping you, we'll just call it racism. Yep, let's the goal. Do people in your generation travels, the people you hang with, do they do they do twenty two year olds keep up with this stuff? Do they know what's going on? Or before today? Before today? And I don't think so. Our conversations aren't about politics. It's about beer and sports. Yeah, but which is should be? Really Yeah, but my political fill and I don't talk with him about it because we never come up with anything. You know, the conversation is never there except for Joe Biden's an idiot. Yeah, but my political fill is on this show. So today when you when you sent me the agenda, I ran through just real quick, looked up some points, yeah, on just some different stuff. Got dude, He's filling in this role perfectly. Anybody sorry, Brian, this is awesome. Yeah, Brian's out. No, Brian might just kick me out now. He goes, hey, we got another trend over here, but he's no, they don't. Well, I mean we don't talk about that stuff. Yeah, I keep it, you know, in the back of my head just in case, but usually it's clients. Yeah, just kind of grab my ear about it. And we just talked and chat about it for thirty minutes. Been in there before, been there, done that. Yeah. So no, to answer your question, no, we don't. Yeah, well that sucks. But also it is not bad either. I mean I don't think you should be consumed by it. Always have been. I mean I've been always consumed by politics, my brother and Brian, and we've been doing for example, I think what he talks about this, people ask what he what are they like when they're not on air? Brian the same way. We're literally the same way, and sometimes worse because we can be a little more profane. Sometimes we don't care on the second hour, but it's the exactly. We've been the same way for twenty some years and then or shit longer than that, and then like the show today here, I want to talk about this too before we leave it, I talk about want to say things So the reason I know I can't do a two hour show and the reason we do a two hour show. The difference is Brian, Okay, that's the best talking dude, and it's not boring. I mean, we had lunch together for probably thirteen to fifteen years, literally went to lunch somewhere and most of the time it was the same place, and we had an hour for lunch and we would go eat and I would be done eating and I would look over it and Brian's plate has maybe a quarter off because I'm choice and he's talking. And that's the way we've been our whole lives. So there's no way I can fill up two hours. There's just no way. And I appreciate you helping today. I hope you enjoyed it. Great experience. I've always kind of wanted to do something like this. Yeah, and uh here I am, well, very cool. Well definitely going to try to get you again. And I do appreciate. I want to say I appreciate every time you go, even if it's criticism. I love it. I mean, I just I really do. So if you got something to say, I always send it. And if you've got advice to send more top ten. Sometimes you give us the top ten list, sometimes top ten. So many good ones out there and stuff. Brian stuck on food top tens. Yeah, I don't know about all that. I think there's some juicier subjects. Man. I thought about doing the worst top tens of hop top tens Brian's worst Thanksgiving foods. I don't know. I kind of dug that one. But the trees, the Christmas one. Oh yeah, plants or trees are just anyway, you know what, it is hard if you had to come up with some top ten descriptions all the time, it is. It does get to you. So anyway, I appreciate your helping today. I hope you had a good lock. What are you glad to have you back? Thank you for having me back. And then we're gonna close off again with eminem and the other one. What was the last one I have at Godzilla? I can swallow up, bottle up alcohol, little feel like Goddilla.
