I don't know who's a country music singer. Anyway, A lot going on in drama sports, would he? Yeah? Uh? University of Lynchburg Hornets or in the World Series today? Oh? Really? Yeah? Man, did not know won their first game? So did they win today? Yeah? Wow, congratulation they are one game away from winning the World Series. Lentsburg College. Uh, University of Lynchburg. Yeah, you do you accept that? No? Yeah, I'm married to an alumni and she will not call it too. That's right. We were class Yeah, she does not recognize the new name at all. Did you know that trip? Interesting? Yeah, we were class study together. An idiot, so we need to talk about anyway. Um, thank you too. We are live in the David Honaker State Farm Studios. So anyway, we've got we've got an exciting show. Sports, What's happening? Got a lot going on there? Second hour, we'll have our top ten? Are you wanting to know the subject for today's top ten? Would he? Yeah? I'd love to sports rivalries? Oh boy, now listen, I know my list. Peek ahead. Probably I've left some off that I just didn't think about, and I hope I can't wait to get mister mister Trent warners take on that I didn't send him in early. So we have I don't even want to go to have at it Carolina. We got Carolina, Kevin, and then did you complete your task for Dead Alive? You'll find out, Okay, so we'll find out. Now we're number two, so we're all excited about that show. Have I ever failed? No? Always, We always deliver on this show. There's no doubt, sou. Before we get into drama, I just wanted to a little weekend wrap up, so would he? This weekend I went to Trent's place down on the river. Okay, Trent and Brad and his whole family have a place. I just call it the river. Does that have a name? We said, we still say that we're going on the river. It's just a river, right, That's what I say, because it encompasses more than a house. Yeah, you're just you're going to hang out on the river. And that's what I remember when you used to take me when I was younger, back in the young days. I don't even want to take about that trip, but we always have what happened on that trip, I don't really want to talk about it. Okay, So broke back down with mountain or anything like that, don't I think it was the jeep trip? Yeah, I want to say there was a firearm involved. I don't know if there's statutes limitations on some of that. Yeah, exactly. But it's a phenomenal weekend. There's is never a dull moment. We learned how to burn stumps. Okay, that was a lot of fun. Yeah, Yeah, wouldn't you say? It's cool? What river? Is it? The Russian method? Right? So we're gonna education We're gonna educate Woody on what river? This is this is the Jackson River. Okay, my middle name, which is Trent's middle name, that's where he was conceived. Yep, on the Jackson. My mom will tell you a position every yeah, number two. Okay, man great show? So um tease? I just how do you go? How do you keep going forward on this? Uh? So the Jackson River feeds into the cow Pastor? Am I right? Literally don't know? I though I went into the James. It's the start of the James. But there's two rivers that come together that start the James. Okay, and I believe past cow Pastor and williams Burg. Yeah, cow pastors, Williams the river. Huh cow Pastor is the name of a Yes, cow Pastor and the Jackson come together to form the James River. Oh okay, so the James River starts, yeah in a little town called what's that? A little place called Little Rock? Is that where? Damn? I don't know. I think it's where it is the head of James. Anyway, Okay, I just crossed the Jackson. Don't go all the way down to the beach, swim all the way down. So anyway, we we hang out at the river with his uncle uncle Perry and we have a good old time. It's just a fun relaxing. Got a garden up there to do a lot of gardening. Not a lot of relaxing there. Oh really, you don't relax crazy, it's always likes something to do split wood. Well, yeah, but I enjoy it. Watch Brad Wark. He is an old man. Your brother is just an old man watching grass grow and a gardening. But anyway, we had a really good time, had a really good weekend. Got a chance to catch up with trance boy pair he and he hung out with us. Yep, he's back at said I started his adult job. Yeah, started yesterday. Yea working for Audi and Chattanooga, Tennessee. Amen. So anyway, you know how you know your son has moved and you know how he's gotten to his new place. Here's the sign of today's adult parenting. Hey dad, what's the password to YouTube TV? He's got his account? Hey, you got your own money? Now, I don't I don't get the joke. Why is everybody laughing? Take him off his account? Yeah, but I'm not. But I'm saying I use trans Oh my god, what do you mean? I gotta give my own account? No? No, I just think it's funny. Your son. That's when you know he's moved and he's got to the new place. Yep, And we did that. It was kind of cool. So it is cool. That's good, all right. I wanted to drama. All right, woody, all right, I've started a new show. Okay, ship. Oh I don't even know what this is. Joe Pickett, have you seen it? It's a show on Amazon Prime. Brad's coming through um the problem. So it's a very the how do you say this? The plot and everything behind it is really good, but there's always a butt. But I swear the acting in the editing is horrid. Yeah, I'm looking at the cast. Nothing against the cast, because it's a really good plot to it and I like that kind of So it's it's the setting is out in Wyoming. He's a game warden and he's kind of uncovering some small town cronyism, you know, between the sheriff and some of the locals, and so it's interesting. But the acting is just it's not good. Yeah, that'll take you out quick. It's more so the editing budget though, I mean, just look like it's a budget show or just it look like it has a healthy budget. Oh no, it definitely doesn't look like it has a him. Oh it's just like one of those Okay, but it seems to be one of their higher rated shows. Oh maybe See's and two would be a lot better. I'm looking at it up now, I mean living color in it. Yeah is it? What's the guy's name, David Alan Greer. Yeah, he's and he's good. He's the retired game warden. So anyway, it's worth watching. I think I think you would like it. I don't. I don't know. I don't know why you're a reviewer so far. I don't know. I'm not too hyper. I mean, I'm continuing to watch the first season. I'm in like episode four, Julian, let me see, I might know her now. She's a really good actress. She's good. He's just not the character I think he probably needed to. He's not lead material. No, he looks like he should have been maybe the sheriff or something, not the heroic game warden. Yeah, we all can't be heroes here. No, I mean that would be like, you know, he's from New Zealand. Would you have guessed that? No? I wouldn't. None. Half there we go, I wouldn't known for you, all right, Trent, you got anything for drama? Actually, I don't think I've watched any new episodes of things. I've kind of been gotten sucked into college baseball because Tennessee is Tennessee has been in a UVa's in it, so LSU's playing, so I've it's like a lot of teams that I want to watch, and the atmospherees have been fantastic in the baseball being great man. Probably one of the best college baseball games I've ever watched was Saturday night Clemson Tennessee was Tennessee. It went fourteen innings, I think, and uh so, here's what's crazy about that. You know, my mom loves sports more than I do. So I gave up on Tennessee. I watched till the ninth inning with two outs. Oh no, it came to the last track and they're down. They're down two outs. I mean they're down two runs. So it's like four to two, let's say. So I'm just sitting on my back deck and enjoin music with Marty, and my mom texts me and she said, are you watching the Tennessee game? And I looked at my phone. I thought, well, maybe that's an old text, you know what I mean, Like, I just and I was like, no, I went outside when we were down two runs and she said we're up one. I was like, oh my god. So I go running inside and we're winning five to four. Guy hit a three run jack yep. Okay. So now I'm watching the game, and damn if we didn't give up the lead to tie to go into extra endings. When I started watching, I was like, with two with two outs of two strikes. Yeah, And then in the extra endings, Tennessee had bases loaded and couldn't score, and I'm like, oh, Man, Perry and hour in agony. And you know, Wood is starting to play baseball and he's sixth grader now, so he was kind of digging me and Perry yelling at the TV and all that. So it was fun. What did you think about the ejection? You know what, I still don't know what he did. I don't know. Nobody else, No, I don't, I don't. I know. He's got kind of a reputation. So maybe that's why we're talking about the coach Tennessee. No, the player got ejected from Clemson. That was a huge deal. I can't remember now what he was their best player. He's the one that tied it. So in extra innings when Clemson turned the double play to get out of the inning, he was coming off and he said something to the Tennessee guy as he was round in second. So you see the Tennessee guy turned around and say something back. But they both kind of went So whoever was doing the game, whether it's Ben McDonald or the other guy, yeah, says I can't understand why they would eject him. It's not like the Tennessee guy turned around and they got into a verbal confrontation. Yeah, okay, if he's taunting, I get it. But they went their separate ways. Nobody knows. And he said he I would have thought you would have heard the commentary because he went off for a whole inning about why these umpires have got to stop with this ruining the game of baseball. Yeah, just I think in upire or any any official, when you interject yourself into it a game. No, I mean if we still don't know what he said. We don't know what he said. You could agree except for and that's what the announcer said. He may have crossed the line, but they went if he crosses the line, the Tennessee guy comes back, but he didn't. He kept he kept going, so it couldn't have been but so bad. Well maybe he didn't want to get exected. He just he was just we gotta stop. We can't, don't no, because the player got ejected the other day from flipping his back. I mean, we gotta stop. They've gone too far. These there. This is not professional baseball. This is college. Yeah, they're wild and crazy kids. My mom was trying to tell me, and she swears, and she sent me the video to proof to me, but of course I didn't get it. But you know when your mom tries to send you a video clip, like what in the hell? Like joined the Facebook group of basketball and I was like, that was not gonna do a baseball But she swears that she watched two separate games where college baseball called an inside the park home run, where they didn't run all the way around the bases. They jogged around the bases for the ball hitting the wall. And I was like, mom, you sure didn't hit above the yellow line? Like is there a wall above it? Right? That's what I would have thought, And she goes no, I'm telling you it hit the fence. And she said it was done in another game too. Now I've seen because there is a stadium that has like this platform above center field where it's above the yellow line. It hits the thing and comes back and play. Yeah, I saw that, but it's not an inside to park home room. That Portfield doesn't have anything like that that I'm aware of for UVA And she said it happened at Uva and she said it happened in one of the Tennessee games. I don't know, but you're right. College baseball is right now kicking up and it's it's only gonna get me better in the next yeah series, There's not a lot of sports going on anyway, so it's kind of it's perfect thing to watch, perfect time. And I, of course that was on my bucket list if you remember Woody Oh yeah was man. I looked at tickets and it's like two hundred and thirty dollars per game. Wow ticket? Yeah, who can afford that? And then you got to get out there and I tried to look at flights and they were like four hundred and up, and I'm like, that's gotta be a that's fine. Bucket list or bucket lists, they're expensive. Now, I get that, But I can't even drop. I don't have two grand to drop going out there and coming back. Now, I could do it in my RV if I had planned to take off, maybe next year I will and prayed that and once she makes But anyway, Uh, that's good stuff. I get anything else for drama books? Do you read? Yeah? Anybody hello? I was looking at the camera. Well, y'all would be interested in knowing new book I have. I got it over the weekend. It's a Sasquatch apes among Us, So I'm interested in reading that. It's a detailed look at the look on Trends face of disappointment. He was waiting for motivated, like I'm going out to get this book because what are you always spot on with his recommendation, and then he comes with Sasqua listened star Trek, I'm not a reader, Trends A reader? You read? I have not in a while. TikTok has taken over that. I can't. I just can't read. So is it considered reading if you purchase a book that's audio. I think you can't now, Yeah, it's okay. I think so if it's yeah, do you listen to the audio book? So can I say why I read this? Yeah? Well yeah, I can't say you read a book if it was a but I'm listening to the book. So that's what people tell me when they so one of my bosses. I can't say all the time, Hey, I listened to an audio book that said such and such. Yeah, what is it? It's visible, it's coming up later in the show. But I, um, my retaining skills is horrible. Yea audio wise, so I wouldn't be able to, like, I couldn't listen to an audiobook and take a test. I had read the book, is I want to? I want to read it, so I ordered it, so it's coming in. But the book is The Creatures of jak o Isle. Oh it sounds well, it's great, Okay, I can't wait. It is not a movie. That's I think they may have done a movie after it should be I thought so in Ardo DiCaprio was sending some kind of So the writer did this way back, I want to say, early eighties maybe, And it's about the Federal Reserve, so it's political. But dude, all of the stuff that he says in there. I remember that he was on Imas years ago, right, the author, and he was telling iMOS that all this stuff was true, that rich people get together and they dictate what goes on in the world. Right now, this stuff is all coming true. So I've got that. Later on in the show, I want to ask the question, when do you stop becoming a conspiracy theorist when the stuff when they're actually happening. Yes, when it's happening like the UFO thing, correct, job, I mean that whole interview is shocking, yes, exactly, and if it's real, right, and the fact that it's not blowing up today exactly two days I think it is. You're saying something. I don't know what you're talking about right now. Yeah, I don't know what you're saying. Where can we fit that in what Tucker was talking about in his little show, exactly right? Yeah, we'll slip that in. Don't let me forget about it though, is it political? Don't let me go to a different segment and then bring it up. So on the Sports Life, Liberty, Happiness, Sports, there is a movie called Jekyl Island, but Land Jackal Island. Who's in it? Who's the lead. Do you know? M hmmm, I'm just curious. I'm scrolling, but I don't see. Okay, So anyway, I'm gonna, as Trent says, I can't say read, I'm gonna listen to this book and then I'll give you some updates on the show as to whether or not you should, uh, you should read it. Okay, so trends gonna start reading again and then give us books that he suggested to have a book that I have next to my bed. I've only read maybe the first two chapters. And I could have brought this up during drama. Okay, what is the book? No, what is the book? You said it's next to you? Or what going to sports? We're already there, all right, go ahead, but what's the book? You've got me hooked? Now? Is um? The power of positive thinking? Oh? I don't know. Was something that Trump mentioned and I was like, let me go get that because and you read it and you realize that is him. It has nothing to do with him. It's just he mentioned it somewhere along the lines. I remember hearing about it. All right, So what you don't understand? Maybe how do you know? Well, I don't know. I'm gonna find out is that things that we say on this show, apparently people do listen, because that somebody asked me the other day if I had watched, um, shoot, Connor McGregor. I was like, why would I watch Connor McGregor, And I'm like, that's what Trent recommended. And I'm like, wait, what, Like out of the blue it was somebody that I you know, I didn't I'm talking to and have nothing to do. I didn't even know that they listened to last week's show or something, right, And so we people do listen to us, by the way, and do our recommendation. So that's why the power of positive thinking, okay gets me through trauma. Um. So now that we're in sports, we talked about this a little earlier a preview the Lynchburg University of Lynchburg Cornets baseball team. So you said that won game one. Yeah, so what's really cool about this? Mike Cassidy. I don't know if you ever worked with him. He was a surveyor in Lynchburg. Yeah, he retired from his own company and he went to work for the city as their surveyor. He's there right now. His son, youngest son is playing for Lynchburg. Wow, and that's so cool. I remember a little picture. I mean even said sent today sent a picture of his kid, like twelve years old on the pictures Mane with his glove hanging. Yeah, it's like that is so cool. That is cool, and kudos to them. I mean this could be a national championship. Yeah, and this is a big deal. I mean it's not like people might think, oh it was Division three. Listen, now go to the pros. Baseball is different than than football or I mean there's a lot of D three kids in professional baseball. Yeah, a lot, a lot more new think, Like, it shocks me sometimes to look at some of these bios of these baseball players and it says Corpus Christi Community College. You know like what I mean, they don't. It doesn't take a big school to have to make it in baseball. Yeah, it's shocking, but it's true. So the nf excuse me. The NBA Finals are in full swing. They are back in Miami tonight. They are tied one apiece. Shot at that second game, I was two is I really felt but Denver should have won that game. They had the momentum and just manam bam out of Bio just refused to lose, and they their role players just refused to lose. And Jimmy Butler and they're still in the finals. And he has not caught fire in the second half of the playoffs. That's the scary part. The first half of the playoffs, he was the man carrying them, haye, but he hadn't even got hot yet. That's true, that's true. But the other thing is on the other side. If Murray gets hot and he can carry right Denver two, it could be a good series. I thought it was gonna be a five to one, but man, it could go all the way. I think you're right, F one. You hear that on the replay. It makes me laugh everything. So F one was in Spain this weekend. Max dominated to see as usual, red Bull continues to dominate. However, Mercedes did finish second and third. Is that grounds to say Mercedes is back or Toto looked very confident in what they have just done. Okay, I watched the interview of him after the Yeah, the race, So speaking of which, so you know, sometimes you can't get to it, but you and I we record the race so that you can watch it. Yeah, Well, I know that you've watched it ahead of me, because the bar stops as soon as the race is dull, which sucks because when I come back, it says to join or start from the beginning, and if I don't think about it and I hit joint, I see the guy pumping his fist and I was like, son of a bitch, I was gonna watch the whole thing. So how often do you cuss me in a week? Multiple times to day? Multiple Yeah. So anyway, I knew for stapping one just because I saw that highlight and I was like, dag on it. I still watched it to see how dominant he was, which that's always appreciative to just seeing somebody that good. Yeah, but Toto was so confident in his interview afterwards, so he said he mentioned that they redid everything after the start of the year because the lady asked him, why is it taking so long for you to have two guys on the podium, and he said, because we weren't good and we missed the offseason. We missed it, but instead of just living through it, we decided to redo the whole thing. He made it selling, and maybe you're making an excuse in this week they'll be six and seven. Yeah, we'll see. But he seemed to be pretty confident that they figured it out. Yeah, that's what I want to see. Did Mercedes figure it out or did Aston, Martin and Ferrari go backwards? Right, that's what because at the end of the day you somebody mentioned that, yeah, Mercedes looked good, but they were still twenty two seconds behind. Yeah, right, it's not like they were ten seconds or five. Well, during the broadcast they did mention Sergia is gonna have to start finding something. He's gonna get some heat. Yes, agreed. I mean, if your guy finishes first, you at least need to finish second. That's exactly right. Yeah, yeah, that's what Botos used to do all the time. That's exactly right. So, uh, NASCAR wasn't Illinois this weekend. I mean the race was fine, The racing was okay, all right. So geography question, I completely got confused because the race was in Saint Louis, but it said enjoy Illinois three hundred. Well, I mean Saint Louis is in Missouri. It's across the river. You can see the arch from the track, but the track is in Illinois, correct, so it was like East Saint Louis. Yeah, I guess so I was confused by that. Yeah, but it's um it's one of those phoenix looking tracks right where it's not a lot of banking. And I swear though it seemed like the whole race they had something that was pretty positive. I'll tell you. What was really interesting was how many people just blew up their right front break right, like the rotor just exploded. Yea, and rotor pieces are out on the track, which I can't be safe. Yeah, so you asked the question. I think it was you in the middle of the broadcast, which was interesting. All right, So follow me on this woody because I know you're not paying I'm here. Yeah, I'm following, I'm listening. I'm sleeping. So there is a driver by the name of kiljoy Lay following on Facebook. Okay, he is good. So he's got a great podcast. By the way, his podcast as phenomenal. It's called Stack and Penny's. So he is the full time driver for the number seven Spire Motorsports, which is a tribute to the old Alan Kawiki, which if you remember, we used to have Alan. We had Alan Kuwiki's manager in here at an interview one time. But anyway, so he's the full time driver. Well, Chase Elliott gets suspended and they asked Corey le Joy to drive for Hendricks, which he was excited about. And I'm shocked that Spire would let him do that, other than they probably get funding from Inndricks to help, and I get that, but this gave an opportunity for somebody who's never been in a cup car before. They put a driver in Corey's regular car named Carson Josavar, who is going to be the next Kyle Larson. I'm telling you that kid can flat out drive. He's never been in a cup car, which is different than some of these other guys, right, I mean they're rookies, but they've been in a car. Like it's different than other racing. You've got the transmissions different, It's a totally different car, you know what I mean. It's a big jump. He was killing it, which one Joys of bar le Joy was like thirtieth and Josivar had gotten up to sixteen when his brake roder he was the first one. Just out of the blue, his brake roders blew up, which sucked for him because he was mowing them down, and that's when the announcer had made the thing of man, there's a lot of pressure on Corey when you're driving around and the guy who's in your car is ten spots ahead of it. Okay, so that's what he was talking about. Yeah, all right, And so it was getting nerve wracking there for a bit. You're probably like that, gone, I'm in chase his car. Are my cards ten spots ahead of me? With a rookie driver. I thought it was interesting the discussion of why those rotors were exploding because it's such a long straightaway that they cooled down so much that when they hit their brakes to go around the turn that they heat up. And I thought, well, isn't that at every track? But I guess because this one is a longer straight away than normal, they cooled down more and the banking is flat, so you have to hit them. You got to get on the brakes part. Yeah. So I just thought, well, man, that seems weird. It's like they're making an excuse for why these things are exploding, but they would literally just explode as soon as they hit the break. Yeah. I mean, one guy said, I put my foot to the floor and there was no break and he just hit the wall. It's scary, another guy said. Another guy did not do that. So there was a guy that spun to the left to the inside who said, I was going to do what the others did and try to hug the wall, but I felt like I was going too fast, so I needed to scrub some speed turn and like the way your mind would think all of that and be able to try to control how hard you're going to crack the wall. Man, it's dangerous. It's crazy. So a little tidbit that I read before I came over here, Um, there is a NASCAR car. So what is that car called? Is it next Gen? Is what is this one called? The one that's in the twenty four hours? Yeah, Lamans, isn't that crazy? That is so cool? And that's Saturday and apparently that car maybe the car to beat. Yeah, is what I'm reading, And so I am so glad. And who's driving it? Did you know the drivers? Jimmy Johnson? Yeah, isn't that crazy? Yeah? I hope he does better than he did it. Charlotte just spend on his own. Yeah, you know, Um, I was reading h watching TikTok, where a guy talked about that that the so this is the twenty four hours of Laman. Correct, is that in France? Or I think it's France. Okay, I would have thought so too again Lama. So anyway, they mentioned how the sounds of cars have changed so much that the lines are the longest at the chevy line because the sound of the car is old school roar, and when it comes through, the fans are like wow. So, I mean it's V eight in your face, is what the guys saying it should be. And they show the Chevrolet take off because you know, they got the different categories. The Chevrolet sounds like you you know, it just sounds like an electronic engine or something, and this V eight comes rolling around and it's like, just really American power, man, we've all I mean, that's what we should be known for. Absolutely, but we're not anymore what Shelby came along for, right, Yeah, exactly, I mean you're exactly right, Junior. Then we're talking about that, yeah, because they're talking about wanting to go full electric. Yeah, they're telling NASCAR going electric and putting a fake, fake exhaust sound system. Yeah, so they can still have the roars are so stupid. U quick note the PGA tour and the Live tour have merged. Huh. While I really don't care, this intrigues me just because of all the stuff that they've talked about for years of you know, the salty money and the blood money and yeah, all of that. Watch them all get in line now, every single one of them. Yeah, you're gonna have your out wy and liberals go crazy, but the rest of them are gonna fall in line and tell you how this is a good thing. Yeah. So I'm curious to see a little more on how that goes. Who who got Who has to be the maddest person, probably trying to be Roy mclroy. And I was thinking Tiger and Tiger. Yeah, Tiger turned down, and I don't want to exaggerate it, but I thought it was ten figures, like the amount was an ungodly number. It was getting close to a billion. You are correct, so to just play, to just play, and out of principle, he said no, correct. I guess once you get rich enough you can say I don't need to do whatever. But he could have said yes, and they still could have done this. He still could have took his money correct and then and guess who did do it? The PGA call the Phil Okay, yeah, yeah, and Phil took grief over it. Have y'all seen the mimis that where they're showing the all of you guys coming back and they're all dancing. They're all of them are like dancing and everything, and oh that I love when people put stuff out exactly. But I mean Phil was right all along. Yeah, and Phil took a lot of grief at the beginning. But here's the thing. Do they lose all that money upcoming? Or is all every golf are going to get that? Now? No, that's the thing I was reading. So the money that the ones who left is guaranteed contracts, so they will get their money no matter what the Saudi Arabia or wherever they got their money from. They have agreed to pay that to these golfers. But going forward, that's what I saying. The PGA has no agreement yet. They don't know how this is going to be. I was also shocked to find out Greg Norman had no idea this was going on either. I think the more it's coming out, the more I think that it's someone I just heard the news was he was surprised by it too. Yeah. I read an article today where he acted surprise. But when more of the details are coming out about when the head of the PGA met, Yeah, they met, I think two weeks ago at a luncheon. Yeah. And then if you'll notice, Greg Norman stopped talking about the Live Tour about two weeks ago. I mean, they're they're putting two and two together. I don't think this was as hidden as they made it sound to be. Now, the PGA golfers, different story. I think they were totally taken off guard. Jay Monahan, Yes, ahead of the PA. Yes, that guy, to me is a snake. Yes. You can say all you want to about the liv Tour, right, and then meanwhile you're gonna go and to go with them and take the same deal. Yeah, come on. Exactly, he's signed a big paycheck, is what he's signed. Yeah. I mean, I'm not saying it's a bad idea, but stop running your mouth before all that. Exactly. Yeah, Trump, Trump said it all along. What's going to happen? So anyway, that's sports you're listening to. Sports and Sports is brought to you by CNS Business Service. And then he does what he asked right? But then you know it's the right answer that I gave him when I look over there and he pushes the button and goes, yeah, like you six right right, confirmed what I wanted to do, making a free throw. So, speaking of making a free throw, Governor Youngcan was in town this weekend. So how cool is Bedford? I know? Right that we had lieutenant governor and then the governor show up and back to back weekends, right, Yeah, So the governor was in town visiting, which again, this is what I want to say. It's different. We've had presidents here, we've had vice presidents here, we've had governors, and we've had senators here. They all show up for an hour and they're gone. Not the governor and not the lieutenant governor. The lieutenant governor stayed for two days. Yeah, she went shopping. Yeah, like she liked the thrift shops in t shops she went. She left and came back to Lunchburg Saturday for a fundraiser. Well, it's that mean they're phenomenal. And then Governor Youngcan came in town and he stopped off at some restaurants and visited, and it was terrific. What do you were live? Yes, shooting not shooting? Well, how do you say it? We had the whoever his security covering. Yeah, they were right on us though it was man assimidating. What's crazy about that is the head of his security is a former Bedford tariff deputy. Okay, yep, he had to pick paint it. I have to say what I saw of Younkan, he literally shook everybody's hand, was so gracious, was so like everybody that walked up to him and said something had a smile on his face. He was so approachable, like it was just like the It was so nice to see because he's by far the tallest person that Okay, who in this room has not physically seen Governor Younkan apparently just me. I forgot all about you beating him, shook his hand a month ago. It be nice guy. He wouldn't leave till everyone that wanted a picture got a picture with him. Man, that's awesome. Yeah, well, good, so play. You gots a little clip, all right, a little clip from the show Allied troops seventy three thousand Americans that stormed the beaches of Normandy, with Virginians playing a vital role for nearly two years. The Bedford Boys had trained days before the landing. Sergeant Richard Jeffrey of Virginia was given orders to work around the clock at his station in Greenland, just below the Arctic Circle. You see, he didn't know it at the time, but the weather he forecast would determine the tide of the war. General Eisenhower me, that's amazing and head of speech. Yes, he was great. You know, it's amazing how politicians, the good ones understand when their time is and when to stop. Like he didn't go long, he went just amount the right of time. Everybody was enthusiastic about it. And then he you know, he wasn't the vocal of the show. Really, I mean it was a good Yeah, it's not a call a show. What do you call an event? An event? It was he was a good part of the event. And wins Winsome she did the same thing, like she knew how to read the crowd, yeah, because they had changed the event, and she just knew how to engage because there was some marines in the room and of course if you're a marine and they say it, you know they do simplified and who And then she did it with him and just was like an immediate like bonding and you could sense in the room and she was both a wonderful wonderful people. It's crazy. The same thing with v and mind grads. Y'all all get around each other, and y'all just have his own language. Usually it's a cuss word. I mean, it's embarrassing sometimes to hear us talk. It literally is every other words. I'm always used to, Hey, I'm Trent wonder what year. That's usually what comes after that year? Yeah, oh yeah, it was seventy six. Well, we I don't know who the hell you are? Seventy six? How how would I know? The old corps? That's what they alway, that is what I had a gentleman off council one time, Jim vest he had went to v M I and I forget what year. He told me it was seventy something, and I said, oh so Stonewall Jackson was one of your professors. You didn't think that was funny anyway? All right, let's see, moving on a strange I didn't put a lot on this on the agenda, But does anybody else finding this plane crash a little weird? Is it just me? Am I trying to make this more than what it really was? I think? What's so? The first thing? I okay, So the first thing I saw on Sunday was somebody posted one of those damn things I hate when someone posts something that he don't tell you what it means. It was it said missile across the lake, but the government will never tell you that it slipped. And of course someone says, what is that supposed to mean? Now I'm supposed to ask you. Yeah, you know what I mean. So I she said there was a plane going across the lake and someone saw a missile go after it, and and everything I've heard since then was we never shot anything added except flares to try to see if the person was alert. H I don't know if I believe that. And the sonic boom that that, I mean, why does why did they act like it was such a huge I mean a sonic boom if you're an ocean. I mean, I grew up with sonic booms. It's a boom, but it's not like it doesn't it's not like an explosion, like it's that's unreasonable. Yeah, everybody kept making it sound like this boom, and it's like, good lord, did they hurt it from Maryland all the way to yeah, Charlottesville. Yeah, something's not something about that isn't right. The whole thing is not adding up to me. It's just so the plane crashed in Stanton, outside of Stanton, in the wooded area, yeah, the Blue Ridge Mountains. What what I didn't understand is have you seen the flight pattern? No? Yeah, I heard the signing boom. But the rest of the story, this is new to me, Oh, well, the flight pattern will really confuse you. They left Tennessee. So here's who's on the plane. You have the pilot and it wasn't They keep saying Cessna a private jet. That is not a Cessna, right, So it's not a Cessina. It was a jet. It was a jet. It was like a charter jet. Correct. Very wealthy lady. Okay, it turns out to be a major Trump donor. By the way, she was the female board on the board of the NRAH. It was her, her daughter, young daughter, and nanny. Those were the only three on board, and then the pilot. So four people total. They leave Tennessee on the way to Ice Slip, New York. Now I have flown into Ice Lip, so I'm familiar with where they're going. I slips on Long Island, so that's where they're flying too. Then the plane goes down in stand okay, except for when you here's the part of what I didn't understand. They said they scrambled at fourteens because there was no contact with the pilot and it was in a restricted air area where you, I guess have to have contact. The confused, So, yeah, wait till you find this out. The plane made it to New York, Okay, did a U turn, and on the way back is when it crashed in. Stand what they claimed that the pilot was unresponsive. Right when did he become unresponsive? So the story is this is exactly you got to remember the pain start pain Stuart story. Yes, they lose air, Yeah, that's what happened. So they lost compression in all of them were none of them knew they died. Okay, they were all out. And so he was slumped over the cockpit. Okay, that's when they So I don't think it was one of the fighter jets that saw that first. I think they asked a nearby plane and that guy says, he looks unresponsive. I don't know how you're close enough to be able to see that. Gosh. So then they sent the jets up and so first they made this sound like the sonic boom was to try to alert the guy. How is that possible? Yeah, But then they shot flares towards him and that might have been what people at the lake saw at a lake, I don't know which lake it was, but they were trying to see if the guy would respond. And then the nose dive into the mountains in Stanton. Was because they ran out of fuel. Okay, so they went from thirty thousand feet or maybe not thirty thousand, they went straight down. Why did you turn? I mean, is it automatically set to go back home? No? I think they just lost control. It just turned at the airport. I mean it was at its destination. I thought they said it got to New Jersey when it turned. When it made the back, so it was on its way. It wasn't far, but I think it turned. And I don't know if that's it just lost control. But paying story, you remember they were off. They went off through a path as well, and they finally just crashed into the mountains of Colorado. When it happened to them. Now, I will say this, this is what's crazy. If you go back and look at the news, find out where that one landed, it's not very far from where this happened. Before there was a pilot that was retired in the Navy and he was supposed to take a plane just because he was a pilot. He was retired, and he was supposed to go back to Louisiana and when he got up above there, he had a heart attack on the way to Louisiana. He was just taking the plane back because of cargo shipment, like they wanted to get the plane back to the other airport and he was going to Louisiana anyway. So he gets in the fighter jet and he crashed a fighter jet in Augusta County. Oh my god, because that's where it landed. He had the heart attack and just went down. That's crazy standing you gotta be careful. There's not even a flight pass and they get hit twice. So that was the reason that basically crashes because you said it depressurized and then they I can see that, all right, Yeah, you've made me feel more comfortable now. They had not a conspiracy here. That's what they are claiming could probably happen, and that that sounds more reasonable to me. Yeah. Apparently you have less than six seconds to get oxygen and the oxygen masks drops. So when so when they're going over this stuff, when you're before your flight on a regular plane, I should listen from now and you have six seconds to get around. Wow, God, it's I will fast. So you know how they always say put your mask on first before trying to help the money, No doubt I'm not helping my wife. I'm going from my If I look over and Marty's already got it on, I gotta feel on something's getting really happening. I better go find it. Oh good, all right? Moving on? How much can liberal companies lose on this swoke agenda? Do you know? I mean you are they willing to billions? I mean targeting anheuser Bush. They don't seem to even care. No, So play cut two. Behaviors are going to have to change, and this is one thing we're gonna We're asking companies, you have to force behaviors, and at Black Rock we are forcing behaviors. What we're doing internally is if you don't achieve these levels of impact, your compensation could be impacted. Okay, you have to force behaviors. And if you don't force behaviors, whether it's gender or race or just any way you want to say, the composition of your team, that's absurd and scary. So that makes that makes it at least understandable now why these companies are right. And so that's that company we discussed earlier, that's part of Fox News Corps. What's funny is they own so many any companies. Yeah, that when you leave Let's say you just left I don't know Target because they did something, and you go to another department store. They probably own that one too. Sure, the same dollar going back exactly. Yeah. However, I will say this, somebody brought up a good point today, and it's a podcaster who's a young guy. I need to find his name because he's extremely popular. I believe Trump was on his podcast. Okay, you probably know who I'm talking about, Woody, but he's a really good TikToker too. I see him on there. But he brought up a good point. By law, if you're a publicly traded company, which these companies are, you have what's what's it called fidiciary responsibility? Right? Are you not liabele for this? You would think you're saying to your investors that twenty seven billion dollars is what they say that Target has lost, which I don't see how that's possible. But if it is, and you're you're not gonna stop. Yeah, so you're not looking out for your investors. Do your investors have a lawsuit? Is what he's saying. Yeah, seems to me like they do. I mean, how do you go out forward. They're out there selling Shaquille O'Neill for saying that he enticed people in that KMH whatever that cryptocurrency was, because he advertised for him. I mean people out there doing that, so I would not be surprised somebody does, sue Anne Hauser Bush Well, good hopefully maybe, don't you? All right, So here's where I think capitalism wins. I found this commercial and see what you think of it. Cut three. When I grow up, I want to work for a woke company like super Woke when I go up. When I grow up, I don't want to be hired based on what I look like rather than my skills. I would be judged by my political police. I don't want to get promoted based on my chromosome. When I go up, I want to be offended by my co workers and walk around the office on eggshells and have my words policed by HR words like grandfather, peanut, gallery, long, kindness, and no can do. When I go up, I want to be obsessed with emotional safety and do workplace sensitivity training all day long. When I grow up, I want to climb the corporate ladder just by following the clown. I want to be a conformist. I want to weapon. I was my pronounce what are pronouns? It's time to grow up and get back to work. Introducing the number one woke free job board in America, Red Balloon dot Work. I love it. Whoa? I love is real? Whoa? Okay, what do you mean? It's of course a company can win. Yeah huh, Like there's gotta be somebody out there. This is enough enough. I'm just I wrote this down with this down, Trent, because I had heard you say this one at the time. Do you have cash out? I have the app? Yes, they're coming after us. Man. Did you see the article where the pastor has had his account frozen? No? No, yeah, so because of his views? Oh my gosh. And they have that access because you check that box. You know, this goes back to you asked me if I had cash app. So principally I'd like to use cash app more because if you guys recall maybe a year ago Venmo, some dwive said, and they're you know, the disclaimers that you check off that Venmo has the right to essentially, if you post the wrong thing, they have the right to your account, right And that got leaked do you remember that? And no one at Venmo Venmo said we will correct that, but it was in there, so I thought, you know what, I'm just gonna be a cash app guy. But because everybody else in the world is freaking Venmo, I use Venmo more. But now I'm glad you tell me something cash app sucks. So now I'm glad. I swear a man, you can't just just a tight rope. You can't you can't get away from you can't do anything that's right. And that's that's their plan, obvious. It is their plan that is exactly right. Yes, I swear. I just got a text. Do I have to get dinner for myself? Since what you say said you wouldn't save me first? You say it? Oops, Well I mean you gotta lead. Yeah, I mean I have to put my mask on first. Then I will look for you to help. Yeah, you're not gonna do any good dying first. Yeah, you save yourself so that you can save others. That's right. Leaders, lead, let's try Ashley, come on. Yeah, positivity, right, that's what happening, and what's happening is brought to you by Stay Fun. I thought you were going to do something see, I'm sorry. Their friendly staff have over fifty plus years of combined experience. Call him today at five four o five eight six eight one nine four or stop by their office next to Arby's all four sixteen like a good day, David, Life, Liberty, Happiness, eighty million Mini. Come on, man with bright truth over facts. All right, speaking of truth teller, let's get get to uh a little eighty million cut eighty. I had two cranial aneurisms and they literally had to take the top of my head off. I mean they take a saw and they cut your head off and go in to find the artery that is, one was leaking, the other that hadn't before it burst. Sister, absolutely true story. I said, what are my chances of getting off this table and being completely normal. He said, your chances of living are a lot better thirty five out of one hunt hundred, making I might as well be the one. I said, what's the most likely thing that will happen if I? If I live? But what he said, well, the side of the brain that the first, the first aneurism is on controls your ability to speak. And although, why the hell then it tell me this before the eighty eight campaign, he could have saved us all a lot of trouble. He's just so funny and so, first of all, does anybody believe that? I don't believe a damn thing comes out of his mouth. The second of all, here's what's crazy him. He tells you that he wished you'd have known that before the eighty eight election. Right, Yeah. First of all, if he's in his mind, he thinks he lost because he couldn't speak well, not because he lied the plagiarisms, because back then, when you lied, you got Yeah, they called you out on it, and he got. He didn't even make it through his primary because he was terrible. This is this is the part. We can talk politics. Part of this, Well, we're getting on, We're getting ready. Okay, what are you doing? No, I just want to make sure it was okay, did you. I mean the whole thing about the DNC not having a debate, you know when I'm saying, like he cannot speak, right, No, no, no, that's right. So I'm just tracking with you here. So if he cannot speak and they're not going to have a debate, while on earth do we have a country of an election? First of all, our country is built on debate. I mean it's democratic, right exactly. I mean part of that, by definition is debate. Well, I think the cat is out of the bag on whether or not we have fair elections going forward. There's something fishing, dude, there's something on that Democratic side that's fishing. I mean, Jesus God, the dude from governor from North Dakota that no one's ever heard of on the Republican side announced he's running today about how many are going to run? Young kid needs to jump in and he's way late. I'm okay. I mean I don't mind how many run. To be honest, I mean I don't care, but I mean, come on right, because I get somebody look at you and go, hey, dude, you got no chance. I want to hear Trump say, well, you don't even belong on this first stage. Yeah, I mean he's so far down there, Grand Paul, he's so far down What is he even on this stage? Four? He should have been on the last debate of that losers. Oh that was the best. That was so cool. But I think, I mean, the only reason why I think these guys do that is are they just looking for an ambassadorship? Are they looking for a position a title? Because I think if you look at the presidential elections, that is what happens. Pete Buddha Jedge. I mean, he wasn't gonna win anything, but they put him at the top of the lift. Remember, yeah, which you know that you know who you know who's going to do that too? Like I cannot wait till he gets in the cabinet. That Victor I want smile you guy, dude. He's phenomenal. He is not afraid to go on any show. Correct, I will talk to anybody about anything he said. He's right, He'll say ninety five percent of the stuff he says. I love. Yeah, you know what I mean exactly, A man's that guy's gonna be a leader somewhere they're labeling on the right wing extremes. They already do. But he's not afraid to go on there. No, he's not all right. That was your first hour. We ended with a little Beastie boys. When we come back on the other side, well have the top ten trends. Have at it. See you on the other side.
